yeah FFZ loses it's settings sometimes if you use Local Storage, try switching to IndexedDB, see if it's acceptable, it says slightly slower load times. I just use Local and have a backup settings file

It should just be a CC button on the stream

BTTV conflicts with 7TV in some ways, but I don't think it would cause captions to appear all of a sudden.

FFZ fully supports 7TV though, if you want to switch to that.

BTTV isn't really needed these days, since 7TV and FFZ both support BTTV emotes
