Make a set for holiday, and then set the holiday's origin to be the normal set. Now you can enable the holiday set and keep all your normal emotes and change out the ones you want for the holiday

Origin emotes take higher priority, so the holiday set should be set to original of your main emote set

unless you guys have explicitly changed anything in the last 2 weeks regarding your TOS, ive always used the emote settings (see below) and enabled 7tv through there. Because the rework done on 7tv with the official chrome extension made the emotes abnormal sizes. This was a good work around and still granted me access to the name colour. So if you've patched that to make people use the extension only and not the work around, then that would explain my current dilemna

you need to signin using the kick tied to your main account

and then link from there

you won't be able to signin with your twitch regularly, because its not linked

and relink it

without the connection, signing in will just create a new account

the internal server error is because the username is already taken by your old account

so it cant make a new one

Hi I am currently attempting to make a secondary emote set for Christmas emotes. I have configured the emote set to reference the primary emote set for an origin. The problem that I am having is that it adds “duplicate” emotes to the set when attempting to add an emote of the same name. It doesn’t display “conflict” on the emote set when adding the emote, and does not come up with the prompt to replace, like it does on the primary set.

You have Default set with your normal emotes
=> make another emote set named Christmas => add christmas emotes into Christmas set
click the 🔧 of the Default set => add Origins => add Christmas set, wait a few minutes then christmas emotes will auto replace your normal emotes

if it just goes to uploading 100% and then does nothing then its the size of the emote

Good day ladies and gentlemen. I hope you guys are doing well. I have a question and hoping to get it resolved soon. Recently on twitch, I noticed that 7TV no longer works on my end. I can see the editors adding the emotes but when I type it in, they do not show up for me. Also those that do have a painted name shows up for them but not for me. I been subscribed for about 9 months, I have disabled and re-enabled both extensions on my Opera GX browser, I have logged in and out of both 7TV and Twitch and still nothing. so what I mean by both is on the website, there is a stable and nightly version of the extension. I do have BetterTTV on Opera GX as well but that is to auto claim channel points and drops which I am not sure if 7TV has that feature or not

usually this happens because of the primary key on users

if the username is taken it will throw an error when trying to insert a user

which just gets generically returned as a 500

so if you start with a twitch account, unlink it, and then try to sign in

it'll fail like this

because it cant create a second acount with the same name as the first

even though the server doesnt check for this

it fails at the actual mutation

Getting a issue of 7TV extending the chat slow mode Timer
the streamer I am watching has 10sec Slow mode on the chat
but when I have 7tv plugin activated the Slow mode becomes 1m 30sec

If I deactivate the plugin itself
it works fine and the Slow mode Timer becomes 10sec again

is this some sort of Settings inside the plugin?

the discord role in 7tv is just for another way of logging in and the subscriber role here

discord also has a rate limitation for uploading emojis (25 per hour or sth) so it is not really possible to have a proper emote set synchronization tool
