So for some reason, I can upload emotes normally but I cannot update any. It goes past the 100% but then the page... doesn't load. When I try to add it, it says "he provided hex string is not a valid ObjectID". I tried with all browsers (Opera GX, Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and all of em gave me the same problem. for the past probably 3-4, maybe 5 days, 7TV has been completely breaking my chatbox on twitch.
sometimes it's instant and sometimes it takes 5 - 10 minutes. this time, it took nearly 30 minutes.

i have removed every other twitch extension that i had and reinstalled the extension multiple times yet the issue has not gone away.

i know one of the pronoun extensions attempted to integrate our chat instance before a proper plugins system is in place, the issue with this is we use a framework that's very difficult for external code to interact with, so any small change can be chaotic

it would be more productive for them to either PR an implementation or a compatibility layer in the meantime, rather than touch what is essentially a black box atm

step 2: make a throwaway twitch account. go to your 7tv profile for the discord account and link the connection for the throwaway twitch.

step 3: click the cog wheel on the discord connection and remove it.

step 4: log out, sign back in with twitch on your normal twitch/7tv account. link the discord connection now.

2. unlink the discord account on the non-sub account

as for why you don't see them yourself i am not sure, perhaps you have a content blocker that is preventing your connection to the event service

try adding an emote to your own chat and see if it prints an alert in chat and adds the emote instantly

it is not available in the firefix extension store since this is self distributed, so it is currently only available on the 7tv site

remove one of them by right click on it, choose "Use Emote" and tick it off

I get that the colon is normally for emotes but in this particular case the overwrite of hitting enter turning it into the 7TV emote is kind of.. odd?
