Just seemed like an incorrectly merged emote, they had the original upload several months earlier yet their version was deleted (was a topic of the mods up for discussion because it was an unlisted) and it got deleted but none of the other versions of the same emote did

So it was a complaint by the original uploader saying that they knew that the emote existed still (but their copy didnt) but the reports itself werent handled correctly and they knew nothing about actions (the person said it seemed like someone was ignoring their reports) even though it was valid

As long as its not the same emote (as in a mod cannot tell the difference) then it can be uploaded, sometimes in extreme cases we have also added upgraded versions of the same emote on uploaders emotes (but probably will not be used in this case) just upload and wait for a mod to review @subtle moth

Is anyone able to help me out with emotes not uploading, I'm not sure what the issue is as I've tried many different formats like GIF, WebP, APNG and AVIF and even tried uploading random images or gifs that I have on my PC yet they all get the same message when uploaded "This emote is no longer available" I've had a friend try and upload things from there PC as well but they got the same issue, only one emote was uploaded out of the many they tried

Is it just me or for the past month or so every time i right click on an emote and Add it, i need to Refresh to then remove it? The purple tick doesn't show up. Also if i click on the emote to navigate to its page after adding, i still see "Use Emote" instead of the "Disable Emote" button. Again I need to refresh to see the Disable button. But is there more than one entry in PayPal? 7TV asks PayPal for a payment. If there's only one entry, there should be only one payment. If paypal deducted the amount from your balance and even more from your card, while only one payment appears, it could be an issue on paypals side.

Everything was working fine a couple days ago, even having all 3 extensions installed. Same browser, Opera. Could it possibly be related to a recent opera update?

The dimensions are slightly off. Needs to be a rectangle to be a wide emote. So for example on yours 250x125 uploads and renders fine 😊

Is there a way to recover access to my old account and link it to my chat? Old user was editorstyles and new user is styles (my current twitch username). I dont wanna lose all my paints

I uploaded an emote and it got auto-converted to the wrong framerate so it plays too slowly when I try to fix it with the versioning system the upload succeeds but immediately the emote says "This emote is no longer available" and adds another "initial submission" with a timestamp at the unix epoch and the original slow choppy version is still there

You need to user their user ID from whatever platform they are using and go from there

It kinda depends. If you want to copy your emotes elsewhere it's pretty easy. If you want to copy someone elses emotes elsewhere then you'd either have to do it manually or create an emote set you can use the origins on

Basically the way origins works is it will add/replace any emotes into the current set. Using the set specified in the dropdown. (hopefully that makes sense)

It uses slash commands so you can use /addemote bylink and input the link from 7tv or you can use /addemote byname and it will give a list of emotes with that name
