Removing bttv and using the inline tab completion from ffz is what i've found to work the best

if you have a bunch of extensions affecting tabbing then that probably is the problem. Try knocking it down a bit, generally the combo i recommend personally is 7TV+FFZ, both extensions fully integrate with each other
that's if you need the extra twitch features

don't know if it might help narrow down the cause but i just noticed that my issue with certain emotes not loading happened in certain channels but not others wen using the same emote (in this case FeelsStrongMan)

In hopes that this may help the devs, here's a comprehensive description of my issue:
certain emotes do not load when typed in chat, this happens when having both 7TV and BTTV enabled on chrome on windows 10 64
these bugged emotes work normally in other streams chats,
the issue seems to disappear when uninstalling 7TV and only using BTTV or when installing FFZ either on top of 7TV and BTTV or on its own
using the same synced google chrome account with the same extensions and settings on another pc did not reproduce the issue with the emotes working fine
theses same emotes previews also work normally when displayed in the 7TV and BTTV emote menus
i've only seen FFZ emotes have this issue (FeelsStrongMan and TriEasy)
fixes i've tried but didn't work include: restarting chrome, deleting cookies, cache and site settings, reinstalling extensions, disabling extensions, rebooting, reinstalling chrome and replacing my chrome extension folder (the one in AppData) with another who uses 7TV and BTTV but doesn't have the issue

New bug I noticed since the new update... In Twitch chat, whenever someone gets @'d an extra @ gets put at the start of the message. I tested that 7TV was the cause by toggling the extension on and off about 5 times and while 7TV was enabled the issue occurred while it was fine with 7TV disabled.

No I have been using it and noticed it happening a lot. Then i disabled 7TV and chatted for 30 mins or so and no occurrences. Re-enabled and they returned. 😦

I think i've had it happen to me sometimes, but usually only when I load older messages where im a mod

it might not even be 7TV at all, because it you had this with FFZ on as well it would indicate a much bigger issue
extension lets ffz render chat when it's detected. The only time such an issue could arise is for historical messages (ie message history as a mod)
and that's only because it loads faster than FFZ, so it takes the job of rendering stuff initially, but then passes it to ffz

Then with both on: Double @.
Then I disabled 7TV: No double @.
(For all tests I typed a test message in chat and watched the @ appear or not appear, no historical messages)

i try to remain compatible with bttv as well but they're not exactly cooperating
maybe one day they'll realize their extension isn't actually needed and if they continue like that they'll just lose users.

browser zoom is the default 100% and i've just disabled bttv and hard refreshed and the misalignment is still there. native twitch chat also has the option to change font size and my setting is the default there too

Couple more things while im here... in Mod View there is no 7TV settings button.
Secondly, the settings that matches usernames with Tab Complete doesn't match if there is also an emote with those letters. Would be good if it worked like BTTV one and after u Tab through the emotes it shows the usernames that match also. As it is now I have to either use @ or type more letters in their name. 🙂

When larger emotes are turned on in FFZ I've noticed that the 7tv extension while turned on will make them revert back to small. turn extension off, problem stops and emotes stay large as intended. please look into this.

What's about BTTV, U don't need to have it installed. It cause some problems due to incompatibility after last "updates" and we recomend to use ffz+7tv bundle to avoid those problems.

Yeah, that's very weird, I stopped using Brave a while ago cuz It caused a few conflict with some extensions I was using at the time, someone told me it could be due to the privacy settings it has, but never could figure it out
