the problem is animated emotes occasionally "re-render" in chat after some frame
mean since one of the frames passed away, emote "re-applies" in chat and all the next frames go over

if you add an emote and then make the emote zero-width while its added, it will be removed client-side, but stay added server-side, leaving you with a non-zero-width version of the emote added that cannot be removed @humble pelican

Service messages and live emotes update/reload are still bugged.
From 5 emotes which were added to a channel within 5min, 3 messages weren't shown up and the appropriate emotes appeared in the emote menu only after f5.

7tv emotes aren't working in "alternate player chat" and arent in the emote menu at all. The 7tv badge isn't there either. I found some days ago that constant refreshing may make them appear in the emote menu and work in chat by chance, but now that doesnt even work anymore. Also, 7tv badge and 7tv emotes don't show up in "twitch multistream chat" extension. Even though it uses the exact same chat from the twitch website. They were there in multistream about 2 days ago, but now completely gone including the 7tv emote menu button. even after trying the constant refresh trick. Any fix or workaround would be greatly appreciated and needed, thank you! Bttv and FFZ appear as normal in the "alternate player" emote menu and "Twitch Multistream Extension" emote menu. Thanks again!

apng is not meant to be used on the web or in any application. It's just an uncompressed image animation format

it produces significantly larger file sizes than gif, because it's nothing more than rapidly swapping full resolution frames

and it's also widely unsupported, many modern browsers still don't support it and most applications won't make the difference between a static png and apng (they share the same MIME type and file extension)

emote sizes is the same as FrankerFaceZ, 32 by 32 pixels - which is a typical standard for emotes in chats

BTTV being the outlier with significantly smaller sizes, which can make some emotes hard to read

that happens to me sometimes when I switch audio source, a simple restart fixes it

not saying there isn't some underlying issue related to that, but that's my experience

@Fwiz @KreekCraft @Official_7TV @BetterTTV @Emotesly @DrLupo Not quite... at least not with firefox. It does some very strange stuff to the playhead bar, and it's almost unusable after enabling Theater mode because of it. No issues on Chrome. @Official_7TV might wanna look into that.

It sounds like your 7tv is still logged into the first account. You could try clearing 7tv site cookies, that might fix it so it's actually logged into the 2nd account

if that doesn't work I'm just an idiot I guess

known issue, popout isn't working atm.

it's actually trying to load emotes for your own channel, so it's getting the wrong ID somehow
