most emotes with versions that i see has the activity feed pictures change depending on the version you're looking at
the whole version thing seems weird, with the way they appear when you search for emotes as well

When using 7tv the default cheer emotes on Twitch are replaced with lower rez 1 bit cheer emote and also the default bold and colored font is missing. As a streamer this makes it difficult to comprehend what is happening in our stream at a glance. How can we disable this change? emote extensions generally have to do crazy stuff to get emotes to work correctly
also the paints on usernames
so maybe the rendering of the cheer amounts had to be replaced but isn't quite perfect
