Twitch readable colors washes out colors too much, resulting in the colors way too light. Dark blue ends up being almost grey/purple ish

added an alert if user has different versions of the extension running at the same time

this will literally crash the entire twitch site if you do that so saving myself from useless bug reports

also works if you're running a 2.x.x version

The 7tv emotes does not animate for me in the emote menu or in chat on the latest beta(except the personal emotes). The bttv tab works fine.
I closed all twitch windows restarted the browser and loaded the extention before browsing to twitch.

I also get the changelog tooltip everytime i refresh.

depending on how recent the specific user subbed/changed cosmetics, you might just have an old version of static cosmetics cached locally. Currently legacy cosmetics are cached for eternity and there is no way to clear the cache (clearing browser cache the normal way will not work either)
though beta users will see each others' cosmetics update immediately
