No, they can't be killed. Not until a meeting is called
Add swans: they kill the duck but also kill the goose
Riot goose do enough task can kill only once per meeting and it reset every meeting
Radio Amateur
You can place a tag on a player once per round. For the next 30 seconds, you will hear every sound that this player and the players around them make.
Associated achievements:
- Radio: Win 75 times as a radio amateur.
- Right Frequency: Eavesdrop on a duck and vote them out at the next meeting.
a dream eater like duck I got this idea from my hoodie if if someone stays in 1 spot to long a killer can kill them
Imitator Goose Role you are able to take one of the dead people roles for a round they would be a button next to dead people names that you can click to take they role for the next round ( you can only take someone else role once ) then in the next meeting your back to being imitator
A dunce goose it ability one per game denied the right to call a meeting
A role that can take somebody else's role
Role idea: add more roles from role ideas!
Shifter role. Switch roles with someone else. If you Switch an impostor or neutral, you die. Shifter is goose.
Rolename:Runner description: gain immense speed after you kill a player speed multiplier:3x speed
Or telephoner put a loud ring on a imposter for 5 seconds and blocks them from killing
Basher able to remove a body every 20 seconds
Time Lord: can rewind time by 5 seconds
MEDIC:Can revive players from the dead
Swapper: Can swap 2 People during a meeting.
Portal Maker: can place 2 portals that all players can go threw

Ssundee random roles spotted
Evil Medic: If he sees a dead person on the ground and revives it the dead person becomes a normal imposter
Mind Cotroller: Can take a the farthist player away from them they can take control of that player for 10 seconds and use to oof
Freezer: Can Freeze enyone for 20 Seconds.
Exucutioner: Has to get a sertant player voted out.
Ghost whisper (goose) can ask the ghost 3 question yes or no answer only apply to bodies they find
Juggernaunt:Cant die
Pick People up and put them in Jail and if they think the got the imposter in jail hits the red button in the room
Mocking bird [neutral]
Works like the identity thief: they kill and steal a person identity
Imposter army role: if imposter sees a deadbody on the ground he can bring 2 People back from the dead as a imposter
The mocking bird can, and at anytime, switch their forms between himself and the victim he killed. Because he can only become the person's identity temporarily. if he switches to revert back to himself, he stops the cooldown duration for the shapeshift ability
Example: If mocking bird kills yellow, the mocking bird can be himself or yellow. but becoming yellow is temporarily with a timer ticking down(around 30 seconds or less) before mocking bird loses the identity
the mocking bird can save up yellow's identity by just being himself until he pulls on yellow's disguise. It WON'T charge up the duration tho
if mocking bird kills anyone else while he already has his shapeshift ability, it won't refresh until he loses the shapeshift ability
I feel really confident about this idea
Evil Medic: when the imposter kills someone then he desides if the dead person he killed comes back from the dead as a Normal Imposter. Im confindint about this 1
So like the morphing but as a neutral
So all among us mods and I think the devs said they won't have ability to bring back from the dead but it will be a good game mode
well yea but I thought "the neutral can turn into their victims back and forth" like drone/mummy
Can they turn into the same body they kill once they remove or it reset the cool down for example you use yellow turn yellow so once it remove it turn back yellow or no it interests
It's not that we don't have the ability, we have a very capable team and can develop everything in-house
however the design principle of resurrection breaks so many faucets of Social Deduction. When you die you know who kills you, you can talk to other ghosts, role reveal, etc. "Well just disable role reveal and so ghosts can't talk to each other" well that would ruin the fun for the majority of players with the hope that one person MIGHT get resurrected to cause a little more chaos. Forcing a square peg into a round hole
We're well aware of other games in the genre and the mods that accompany them but we're looking to continue to advance the genre and bring new experiences
@muted glade please remember to be respectful to your fellow avian.
sorry chris, I get carried away when I am innovated on the potential
Passion is great
but be calm, cool, collected and constructive. These are idea channels a space to build upon ideas with each other
alrighty then
MB i didn't want to sound rude and insulting
I didn't read it as rude or insulting at all, I just wanted to clarify that a lot of thought goes into roles and how they all work together and stick some rules of design. Lots of various mechanics and components to take into consideration, not so much technical restrictions
but thats what these channels are for
discussing and building ideas with each other because you never know an idea could spark an idea
Role Idea:
Officer
Appearance: The officer can only be used if the selected map has a jail cell, for example Goosechapel and SS Mothergoose
Use of Role: Instead of the locksmith, the officer can add people to jail, and time them out.
Cooldown: The cooldown of this ability is 15s - 60s, what the host set it to.
A role that takes other roles and when he takes somebody's role the person he stole from will become a normal goose and he will be their role
Or the one switched with becomes switcher but it is put on cooldown after the og switcher switched roles with them
is it on ducks side or a geese side?
Yeah true goose or duck it sounds like a duck but also q goose
Yeah and it gonna be called switcher
there is a duck sending people to jail and it's a snitch
Or shifter. I love this idea. Would make for epic games.
Picture this. You are playing as a duck and shifter shifts with you. You are now a goose. You vote them out because you now know they are a duck. You win because you became a goose. Perfect 👌.
Unless the shifter that became a duck kills the duck that is shifter

Role Goose Diplomat
This role allows the owner to press the spacebar next to the player once per round and if the player turns out to be a duck, he will not be able to kill/sabotage until the end of the round
Role that can pick someone role from body
secret agent (goose)
You can mark a player and track him during the round. The marked player will appear as a blue dot on your mini-map.
That stalker
It will make more sense if you like mimic but for goose
w
role idea for any modes: I think this role would be best for draft bc its chaotic so it's called troll its supposed to troll the lobby with pranks. it can hide,"kill" and even do false sabos. sabos can be called but the thing is,is that its not real. chandelier falls on someone but they don't die type of thing. when they "kill" someone the person is on the floor like they died but u can't report the body and they r stuck there for 30 seconds or longer. if they do enough trolling they win or if they "kill" a player at least 5 times the player has a chance of actually being eliminated because they got trolled to much. I feel like this would be more of a neutral role or even a duck.
fake mimic: basically this guy is a duck buttttt his objected is to find the other ducks and kill them. he can't see who the other ducks r nor who the mimic is, so he must kill the ducks to win or kill off the rest of the lobby to win.
I feel like both would be best in draft
Trickster (DUCK)
Ability:
Trick other geese will immediately as auto-self report when you report the body. Your tasks are fake. (Similar to Canadian and Professional role)
COOLDOWN: 5 secs
INFO:
Trickster can trick a player and steal their report button, when they report the body, the chosen player will be the reporter instead.
Trickster’s skill will work even if the report is involuntary. When they eliminate Canadian and triggered the auto-report, the reporter will still be their tricked target. However, you can’t use your skill on players who are being interrogated.
Killing a player without your skill and report. Convince them that this is another Trickster’s menace, and make them skip.
Trick one of the player, and start the rampage.
Report the body and convince the other that your tricked target is the murderer.
Maps Enabled:
ALL
Veteran neutral
There is an "Alert" button. When the Veteran presses this so-called "Alert" button, a timer, 15s-20s, will begin. During this timer, if another user interacts with the Veteran, doesn't matter if he/she/they are Goose/Duck/Neutral, they will immediately be killed. Their tasks are fake and to win they need to be the last man standing.
I found it relatively interesting
Or have a goose killer😂
THE RESISTANT GOOSE
This goose survives for 3 seconds after suffer one attack that would killed any other character (does not apply for pelican attacks). He is not warned about who attacked him (obviously if just one person is near to him, he will know) but his screen turns red and an icon of a dead goose appears. After the 3 seconds, he dies. (Sorry if my english isn't so good, im not a native)
THE NOISY GOOSE
This goose screams so loud while killed that all the players listen and an icon appears to all gooses, neutrals and ducks in game for just two seconds pointing where the noisy goose was killed.
THE MESSENGER (DUCK)
This duck can send 1 message (just 1) to one of his partners every meeting and the duck (or mimic) that who was contacted can send 1 reply message (just 1) . The messages does not have character limit.
THE JAILER (GOOSE)
This goose is a kind of combination of the politician and the locksmith but with a bonus. He couldn't be arrested and he can open the prison cell at any time he wants.
a celebrity
and an avenger
U dont know WHERE the celebrity died and just the GOOSES can see
An avenger does not survive a duck attack and the "resistant goose" does not kill. They have nothing in common
Pls delete this
Nice ideas
Thanks
Swan
Once per game the swan can charm another player causing them to vote identically to the swan during a meeting
Pelicans can eat through walls
Imma assume the swan wins like falcon and pelican, correct? Or is there any special win condition
swan neutral role
yea, that is what I meant by "wins like the falcon and pelican" like "Kill everyone and survive the countdown"
Berserk ( duck ) the more he kill the faster this cooldown decrease it start at 40sec every decrease 5sec when it reaches zero it stay zero until a meeting is called
Firefighter (goose) they gain the ability to kill everytime there a sab call once the sab is clear there ability removes
Chicken ( neutral ) object is to survive it ability turn everyone into eggs after few sec it hatch the turn is not visual it just a like pigeon like the pigeon it reset every meeting the fun part the Chicken cooldown decrease if a duck and increases if it a goose the chicken can kill the infection but nothing happens the effect happens onces the duck or goose kill also chicken can't vote so it will replace the pelican and falcon
Make the firefighter able to kill when the sabotage is something like a fire, poison sabotage, feeding monsters etc.
Sabotaging smth like the chandelier, lights, fog won't trigger it their ability
Also maybe once a kill? I ain't sure if giving a goose the ability to kill on cooldown and having no consequences for killing someone is a good idea
Vigilante can kill anyone but only once, the sheriff can keep killing but will die if they kill geese, avenger can kill again and anyone with no cooldown but only if they witness someone die, lobbyist can kill again and anyone but can gain a kill ability more easily but needs 4 or less people to vote them
It won't activate in chandelier or traps in jungle and consequences is they can't kill unless there a sab for example if ppl camp light they can fix it quick the point is if they fix the sab fast it unless and give a goose without consequences make no sense because there already a goose that kill without consequences called lobbyist
Meh fair enough
The bersek cooldown resets every meeting or just after he reaches zero?
It reset every meeting
Good idea and not broken but it would inutilize the serial killer

@craggy venture thanks for the suggestion. In the future, please format the suggestion to be readable. Removing extra characters/lines. 2 short sentences is great
#📌︱idea-channels-guidelines
With the addition to the Party Duck, we've experimented with the idea of Sulfur Hexafluoride (makes your voice deeper), requires additional experimentation.
It'd be cool if the Clown's first party action made their target's voice lower instead of higher.

Poltergeist (goose)
After you die you can still cast a vote in the meeting. This can only be done once per game.
@white nebula @lyric urchin take some time to review the #rules Please be respectful of each other
@lyric urchin you were asked politely to stop spamming fish ideas
neat idea but maybe just one meeting since they'll be able to vote because at the end where it's like poltergeist can clutch by using their vote on their killer
yeh, the idea is to put this limitation
Diplomat (Goose)
This role allows the owner to press spacebar next to a player once per round, and if the player ends up being a duck, pelican or falcon, they will not be able to kill/sabotage for the rest of the round.If he tags a goose, the goose will still be able to kill
Make a Godzilla role where u can shoot a Lazer but the cool down is 100 seconds and if a player gets to close they will die btw the lazer can kill even 3 players but u have to aim it make it where u can stomp on ppl and transform make it where Godzilla is pretty slow
Op much?
Idk but I want it to be slow so it's not that Op
Which is good but killing up to 10 people at once is too much
Yea but they have to stack up
How long does it last
3 secs
Statistician (Goose)
Every 10 seconds, you can check for 3 seconds and see how many people are in each room. Hiding places and vents will be marked if there is someone in there.
(rooms are not hallways. For example, in Mallard Manor, The Grounds, Sitting Room, Sun Room, Studio, etc. count as rooms and will have individual counts, but Hallways and Secret Hallway will not count)
Statistician (Duck)
Your map will show the amount of people in each room. Hiding places and vents will be marked if there is someone in there.
Vanishment (Duck)
Mark a point on the map. When your ability is used, you teleport back to that point. Your point will not be visible to geese, but cannot be changed once placed.
I had an idea , what if once role A killed or interacted with NewRole, role A has to stop moving.
Executioner (Duck)
A non duck's name will be shown to you killing anyone else kills that person too, this happens once per round to be balanced
The bread snatcher: you steal rolles from other people but if you steal it from a duck or a neutral you die
I already put that but yeah
ONE USE DUCK The one use duck can shape shift into a goose once to not be sus by being able to do tasks but if they do the last task they win no one else. They also can be killed by the Ducks to lose.
#🐣︱classic-role-ideas message
Spot on
#🐣︱classic-role-ideas Jesus (goose) you know everyone’s role by clicking a button that pulls up’s list of everyone even the ducks. timer starts at 20s +5s every use
My proposed job has been added, is there any special reward for the proposer?
Watchman -> Sensor
What is a Monkey Duck?
you know like a monkey imposter the monkey can throw bananas and if you get an a banana you trun in too a banana
it's little dumb but it will be cool and funny
Coming up with the names is easy, I'm putting the pressure on you to brainstorm ideas
Monkey aren't birds though
and you have a tail for the monkey duck AKA monkey imported and the tail is an visible and you can hop a round the map
Uh
U have to click the minimap 🙂
yeah
And then hop?

@lyric urchin thank you for your ideas and suggestions. You like Monkey, we got it
no need to spam vague ideas around the ideas of monkeys across all channels #📌︱idea-channels-guidelines #rules
thank you and sorry for that
Fisherman a neutral role where you have to fish for a certain amount of items to win the tasks are fake
Spree (Duck)
Every time you kill, your kill cooldown is reduced by 5 seconds. However, if you do not kill within 10 seconds of your cooldown ending, your cooldown will increase by 5 seconds (increasing does not stack)
Penguin (Neutral)
Kill all players to win.
Instead of a kill cooldown, you have a "frostbite" button which you can use upon other players. At any point in the game, you can kill all players with frostbite by clicking a separate "shatter" button.
Players with frostbite do not know they have frostbite at any point.
so basically pigeon+esper? Though I feel like it's better if it's limited so they don't suddenly get 16 people all of a sudden and also the frostbite goes away after the meeting
It also has a cooldown, kinda like the kill button, so the kill cooldown button would be on the frostbite button, but the kill button can be used any time (or maybe next to a player with frostbite idk)
So yeah if the round is really really long then there is a chance but otherwise there should only be 1-3 players marked per round
Maybe a maximum amount of players with frostbite could also be implemented?
ehh that works
Angel & Demon role
Angel: in every round the angel can protect a person from ducks, making them invincible against them (neutrals and geese can still kill the person)
Demon: when approaching someone and activating the ability, the demon "possesses" the person's body for like 20s and can kill others with it (it's kind of a upgrade of mime)
I also have ideas for roles that already exist (I'm not sure if I have to send this here or in another channel, so I apologize if it's not here)
Medium: Instead of it having a cooldown to see how many people died, the medium could be notified on the screen every time someone dies (the same as happens with the celebrity's death)
Mortician: Instead of having the time to "investigate" the body, when using the function, the mortician discovers the person's function directly (but self-reports the body too)
Spy: instead of just showing the role of the person the spy voted for in the next meeting, show what the role of the person is on their nickname side when they are in the game (like the gravy)
Bodyguard: if the bodyguard is close to the player he is supposed to protect and someone tries to kill the person, the bodyguard dies on the place even if he is further away than the target (also make the bodyguard dies along with the person he has to protect in case someone kills the person)
Locksmith: in addition to being able to open the prison door, it can also open the doors when sabotage occurs
Influencer ( duck) it ability it influence. Influence does it make a feel player see screen blur.
Streamer(goose) it ability to neutral and duck show there die but to goose it show there alive they can faking die once do enough task only once per round they way you can tell it faking there name is black in bold
Flamingo(nuetral) ability can make a every player around see on reverse or upside-down win condition to survive they replace pel and falcon they can kill
Administrator (Goose)
You can check Cameras or use the Intercom from anywhere
(Basically, you have two buttons on the bottom left that you can click to check cameras or use the intercom. Once the intercom has been used, it cannot be used again. Cameras can only be used for 10 seconds at a time and have a 10 second cooldown. Players cannot move while using using them. Cameras and Intercom must be already unlocked for their abilities to work)
Godzilla: (duck) it's like the sniper and drone roll but in stead you can turn into Godzilla and shoot a beam from anywhere. (Only available during the event)
Not sure if said but Rubber Duck: like gravy if sheriff or other killing goose tries to kill them they can ricochet to a random player in the entire map. Due to possible OP, it is effective ONCE PER GAME, like Vigi.

Puppet master ( Duck) it abilities control player remote once in control they kill for them
Ventriloquist (Duck) it ability chose two players to switch there voice
Seagle (Nuetral) ability is they hex/curse once curse/hex they go bind in rage they kill until the meeting is call once it call they die they can't kill the seagle way you can tell you curse/hex is because your screen is black only curse one player at time they win by survives
Eagle (Nuetral) ability is to vote some out if they person is not vote out within the time frame they die if there target is die they also win by vote out there person
Decipher (Goose) ability once per round if they report body they get a personal chat log that give clues of the killer identity like color or name
Saleman ( Goose ) Saleman ability do task enough they get one a confirm Duck it once per game they know because there name turn red they Duck all know who they are once they start do task like the gravy if they are around some they can't die
Flamingos (Meme) ability is to win with your accomplice it like not like lover they because if they together they can't die win by survives with there accomplice they partner know who there accomplice is but not the accomplice

Drone Operator (Goose)
Place your drones around the map to watch over fellow geese. Every meeting gives an extra drone.
———————————————————
The Drone Operator is able to place drones wherever he wants on the map. Invisible to anyone but the Operator. After a meeting is called, your drones are recalled to you, and you gain an extra drone. There will be a mini-screen at the top that you can close or flip through your drone cams.

In the day time your a regular duck but when it's night time you will get the option to transform a giant demonic duck. Your speed is faster than the regular players and the way you kill is you can swallow players and the player will die when a meeting is called.In the demon from you will have three lives. The way you kill the demon if the demon gets hit with the kill button three times he will die releasing all the players that was inside him
Tell me what you think about these two role ideas And tell me a name for the first one

I don't mean to speak badly, but isn't this a little unbalanced?
Could be fixed by making the drones vision smaller to cover less area the more people there are in a lobby.
like this, the more drones you put (for example 3) the vision gets smaller
I actually like that add-on, making it so its a little bit worse to place a whole lot
👍
colorblind (duck)
you can enclose an area. geese in the enclose area will not be able to see colors or skins of other players
Medic: he can rivive dead People but dead People cant talk or vote
Evil Medic: Duck can revive 1 person if they revive a dead body then the person Who got resed coms back as a imposter

The puppeteer is a sinister role that gives the player unique power. Unlike Esper and Mime, the Puppeteer does not just observe or imitate. He marks the victim, establishing full control over her. Instead of moving himself, the Puppeteer forces the marked player to dance to his tune, inevitably leading him to his death, artfully arranging the murder so that the blame falls on the marked player.
Zombie-Doctor (Neutral)
Maps: all
Ability:
The zombie-doctor can revive 2 persons (The first one after 3 fake tasks, the second one after 3 fake tasks aswell) the revived persond are now on the team of the Zombie-doctor. He can win if he has more people on his team. The zombies can vent and help the zombie-doctor with tasks. And they cant be votet out. The zombie-doctors only ability is to revive.
Seagull (Neutral)
Hide players from meetings. Hiding them more kills them. Win having all players hidden. Your tasks are fake.
———————————————————
The Seagull is a meeting induced role. It can hide players in the meeting once, leaving a green spot empty where they were, while also muffling their voice. Hiding twice will make their voice and their meeting card, banner, and goose all gone. Seagull cancels out Falcon win timer while living.
(These are the roles that can’t be turned on while Seagull is active: Assassin, High Priest, Spy, and Pelican.)
RELATED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Need for a Roll Call! : Win 75 games as the Seagull.
- Where are they? Heh… (Secret) : As the Seagull, have all players near you missing.
- Seeing Gull : Be hidden 250 times by the Seagull.
- Where is my win? (Secret) : As the Falcon, have your timer be cancelled out by a living Seagull.
I think the one that switches voice os gonna be hard for them but I hope they put it in I wanna be switched with somebody and be suspicious with they're voice but distance so they can't see me🤞
Implementation would be rather simple as we develop everything in house. Don't worry about our capabilities, our team is pretty capable
Ideas more rely on the points listed in #📌︱idea-channels-guidelines and the role design doc
unknown name(Duck)
Map: Every
The (unknown name)can "deaf" people so in a meeting the can only speak/write and not see/hear things that others say/write.
And the (unknown name) can vent.
Judge
(
Goose )
-
Once per game if the select someone (Not Yourself) to be Prosecuted.
-
If the person Prosecuted is not executed in your favor by the end of the voting phase you will personally force their execution.
-
If they are a Goose you will be executed, if they are a Duck you cannot vote the next voting phase.
-
You cannot use this during the first voting phase.

Wizard
(
Goose )
- You can cast a Protection on a player if they are attacked that round, the attack will fail, and you will learn the exact role of their attacker but not their identity.
- Players Protected by you are unaware of being attacked.
- You cannot Protect the same player twice nor yourself.
Icon: #🎨︱fan-art message
Ghost reader (Goose)

Punk
( Goose )
Can activate a sabotage once per game if it is unlocked by the ducks
If the punk sabotage timer ends - a duck dies (or if theres only 1 duck left geese immediately win)
Everyone can contribute towards the sabo except the punk (ie punk can't put out it's own fire or pick up it's own litter)

Witch (Duck)
Just like the mummy sabotage on the Ancient Sands map, the Witch has an extra sabotage on the maps where it summons a creature that chases the players (and kills them if they touch it, with the exception of the Adventurer). Only the Witch has access to this sabotage, the other ducks cannot activate it (and if the Witch activates it, it will have the cooldown of the sabotage normally). Also with this class, the Adventurer could be available on other maps as well.
This creature could be different in each map to make it more dynamic and immersive (like being a robot in the Godzilla, Blackswan, Nexus Colony and SS Mothergoose maps, a ghost in The Basement and Mallard Manor maps, a clown in The Carnival, a guard in the Jungle Temple, etc)
Also a update idea for Warlock: Instead of the locusts only appearing in the swarm, the sabotage would be in the entire external part of the map (along with the sandstorm). To be balanced, this sabotage would have a delay and would show an alert of about 3-5 seconds warning that the sabotage was activated and that the players need to find shelter.
Hex master (duck), Maps: Every, Ability: The hex master can hex up to two people per round, the hexed targets will not know that they were hexed until a meeting is called, once a body has been found or a meeting has been called, the hexed targets will have an hex symbol next to them, after that meeting if the hm isin't voted out, the targets will die and there bodies will disappear but if the hm is voted out the the same round as someone who was hexed, they hexed target will be cured from the hex and they wont die, the hex master can only hex people but they are able to do sabotages
I think a summoner would be good or a clone as a goose soda clone is a goose and he gets to clone himself, and if the duck kills his clone, he will be alerted where his clone got killed at the duck every time he killed someone they come back to life, but he gets slower and slower every time and the people that come back to life is very slow but when they touch people they die
Role: Samurai or Bushido Goose
Team: Goose
This is a Defensive / Counterattack / Perry role.
This Goose role turns the goose into a trap for other killer roles but will requires good timing and patience.
How it works:
You can active this effect anywhere.
When it's activated, there will be a countdown, which shows how long the effect is active.
(The timer could last, say maybe for about 10-15 seconds).
If an attacker tries to kill the Samurai Goose within the time the effect is active, the attack will be blocked and kill the attacker instead.
Penalty:
If the effect was actived and no one has attempted to try and kill the Samurai Goose when the countdown reaches zero, there will be a cool down for about 30-35 seconds (maybe) until the ability can be used again. However, if the effect was triggered, the cooldown will last longer. Say for at least 1 minute or 40 - 45 seconds. (maybe)
Special Kill Animation:
The kill animation could be the attacker goes for the strike, but the Samurai Goose blocks it and perry attacks, cutting the attacker in half, right down the middle, then bows at the end.
(Samurai Goose could be dressed in a classic Samurai outfit and hair with a sword)
This role can be used against any killer role and can (maybe) block the Pelican. When the Samurai effect is triggered, it looks like a normal kill. That way, no one will know what side you're really on.
Radio Enthusiast (Goose) You have the ability to use radio communication with two modes. Duration of use is 15 seconds, with a 30-second cooldown.
In FM mode, you can hear players through walls.
In AM mode, you can also hear through walls, even at a greater distance, but players' voices are accompanied by interference.
Associated Achievements:
Radio Station: Win 75 games as the Radio Enthusiast.
AM Radio: Use radio communication only in AM mode.
Radio Duck (Duck) You have a unique sabotage ability: when used, all players' voices are distorted with interference for 30 seconds. If a player remains silent, the interference gets louder. Additionally, during this sabotage, the report button does not light up if there is a body. The button can still be pressed, but it won’t be highlighted. This sabotage can be combined with others, such as a lights sabotage.
Associated Achievements:
Communication Sabotage: Win 75 games as the Radio Duck.
Radio Interference: Use the sabotage ability 150 times.
Mind Controller: can take controll of another person and make the person kill someone else
We have a role called the Mime that can take control of another player
I know but the mond controller is the same thing but thay can kill other People witch the person there controlling
A duck role that puts a volume limit on someone and if they get too loud they instantly die the limit is only active in meetings the roles name would be the librarian the role is available on the maps with a library
A role that causes a random stop in someone’s mic from saying anything for a few seconds 3 times every meeting after they vote for you it’s a neutral role called the song bird your win condition is to cause 5 people to be affected by your ability
We need this😭
Peacock (neutral). Each round, you are assigned a random lover, but they are unaware of it. If the player who becomes your lover for one round dies or is voted out during that same round, you also die. If you are voted out or killed, your lover will also perish. You win if you and two other players remain.
Related achievements:
Beautiful Bird: Win as the peacock 75 times.
Beautiful Tail: Change 300 lovers while playing as the peacock.
Beauty Requires Sacrifice: Die at the hands of your own lover.
Whistling Duck (Duck, incompatible with mimic) Once per round, you can relay your speech to other ducks. During this time, only ducks will be able to hear you, regardless of distance. Duration of use: 15 seconds.
Related achievements:
This is Duck, Over: Win 75 times as the whistling duck.
Whistle: Relay a message 150 times.
Flashban grenad
Scapegoat (goose)
You can tag another player once per game to be your scapegoat. If someone tries to kill you, your scapegoat dies instead. If someone kills your scapegoat, you are notified.
It sounds to op if get one scapegoat per round that can balance it but u can choose once every meeting sound to op how will it work If your scapegoat is a duck or neutral and they kill u but If u can balance it sound pretty useful role few questions
- U said it will notify is like celebrity
- Is a distance thing or is it infinite rang I mean for the scapegoat do you need to be close to defend you or anywhere in the map
3 last does what If the person that you choose kill do they die or how will that work
Sorry for my opinion man I just find this idea pretty interesting and I want to know more
- It will notify, only to the Scapegoat (goose), that "Scapegoat Sacrificed"
- They can be anywhere on the map, and they just die, kinda like Lovers but the Scapegoat (goose) doesnt die
- If your scapegoat that you chose never dies, it could be an indication that they are evil. Of course, if they kill you, they unfortunately die instead
Also yes, i was thinking only one scapegoat per game, not per round
We could also make it so that a killer chosen as a scapegoat, cannot commit suicide, but another killer can cause their death by killing the Scapegoat (Goose)
Will they know there a scapegoat or just the person who choose other than that I love that idea
Ig the ducks could know that theres a scapegoat, but i was thinking that only the scapegoat (goose) knows there's a scapegoat
I dunno, theres a lot of variability in this role

What would you do in only text lobbies
It's like the party, it doesn't work. This is to make voice chat lobbies less loud
Have it react to ! Points in text
It is a good concept, I would like that

Two ideas for the same role name:
Gremlin (Duck)
"Make reporting crimes a death sentence!"
Based on the idea that gremlins are things that are associated with mechanical or electrical malfunctions. The Gremlin Duck can select one player per round to place a little quirk in their ability to report. By selecting a player, that player, if they report a dead body or use the alarm bell, will die and show up dead during the next meeting. However, if a body is reported or the bell is used by another player, the selected player is saved from death. Basically causing the report function malfunction by killing the selected player that round or unless it's reset by another player making a report.
Gremlin (Goose)
"Sabotages, what sabotages?"
Based on the idea that gremlins are things that are associated with mechanical or electrical malfunctions. The Gremlin Goose will know where the sabotages are on the map and can effectively reset them or "break them" for the rest of that round. Forcing the ducks to reactivate them the next round after they're broken by the Gremlin Goose.
Parrot(Neutral)
Description: You can't skip the vote. If you vote for the same player twice in two meetings, you'll see their role and you win only when they win.
Once the parrot confirmed the role they're helping, it can no longer be changed.
There was a lot of parrot ideas, but the most interesting part of this one is giving some role a potential 'ally', which will change some role's gameplay like Dodo and Lovers. Parrot player had a chance to choose who they'll be helping, they should choose wisely depending on the situation. Must voting twice limits the flexibility, preventing the player to use the ability too opportunistically in the late game.
Another alteration: You can't skip the vote. If you vote for one players two(or three) times, you can see their role, and when they win, you win INSTEAD. The target can be changed.
The design meets the "Neutral wins alone" standard, and introduces a more aggressive gameplay. Being unable to skip can remind other player of the presentation of the Parrot. And the voted person also can notice that there is a parrot binding with them or trying to, forcing them to get rid of the parrot. This makes that when the Parrot changes target, like from Ducks to Geese, they cannot just tell others who's the duck, which will reveal their parrot role.
Artist (Duck) :
"Mark the appearance of other players to complete your painting, put down and undestroyed painting is only visible to the duck, destroying the painting will cause the corresponding player to die, your mission is fake"
Duck camp, available on all maps
Killing skills have been replaced with marking, painting, placing and destroying
Mark: Cool for 5 seconds
It can be triggered when touching the player, and it can obtain the field of view of the marked object for 5 consecutive seconds within 10 seconds to succeed, otherwise it will enter the cooling
Painting: Lasts for 10 seconds, automatically starts painting the marked artist's portrait after the mark is successful
Place: After the painting is finished, you can place the painting in the map scene, and the skill changes back to the marker after you put down the painting
Laid down and undestroyed paintings are visible only to ducks, but are judged by all killing skills
At the end of the meeting, any paintings that exist on the site will be destroyed, but the paintings in the hands of the artists will remain
Destruction: Cool down for 5 seconds and switch only when touching the painting and the skill is marked
The damaged painting becomes a piece of paper visible to all players (shredded paper is not reportable), and the painting corresponds to the player's death; If the player is dead and a painting exists, it will be destroyed without leaving a trace
Paintings and scraps of paper can be destroyed by terrain; The painting can be selected to kill, and will trigger the corresponding effect of killing skills on the body (e.g. sheriff, serial killer, professional killer, bomb, etc.)
@high kite
The Gaggle Team will deliberate over the suggestion, but likely chances are it does not align with our Designing Roles for Classic/Draft Living Document.
Feel free to give it a read, if you want some insight into the roles that would be more likely to approve of. This doesn't mean that your suggestion can't be inspiring and built upon, with this document in mind, keep at it! We love to see your ideas and concepts.
what happens when you see a role but you vote the other person 2 or 3 times? will the win condition for them swap from one to the other? like you'd find a vulture but you vote someone else a few times and see their role as a clown duck
also I think there should be a thing where if the parrot knows who is the neutral killer, the neutral killer will get something like "Kill the parrot or you'll lose" as a countdown rather than "Kill falcon/pelican or complete tasks"
With the first design, once the parrot has bind to one character, that cannot be changed.
This will also lead to a scenario that Parrot will win even when they're dead. Winning with another role indeed breaks the design standard that neutral roles wins only on their own. But I think this design is more simple and less problematic.
With the second design, there should be one additional condition of winning: surviving.
For the scenario you've mentioned, the winning condition is indeed swapped and you can see both the Vulture and the Clown. When the non-Duck roles is less than Duck roles, you win instead. Considering this can happen only after at least 6(for three votes each) meetings, which will be in a rather late game. And you may intend to avoid telling others directly, which reveals your Parrot role. So the information advantage may not be as imba as it seems.
In the Falcon or Pelican situation, the countdown information change is one way, or just disable the Falcon/Pelican time if Parrot is alive. Or just let it be, for this situation may not happen very often. Being unable to skip and must vote for same player several times already gives enough information for the Parrot's presentation. This can just be a "unexpected lose", just like the Pigeon winning when the only uninfected person voted out.
The problem is, instead of the first design which gives some neutrals a potential ally, the second design makes them even harder to win, especially for non-killing neutrals. Once they are bind with the Parrot, they're hard to counter this. Though the Parrot themselves will intend to bind with others instead to avoid losing with them, there will be several rounds that the victim can do nothing, which is devastating gaming experience.
Well, this inspires for another alteration to improve the second design:
You can skip the voting, but this will undo the existing binding.
With this, the voting count can be set to 2, and to swap you binding, you must skip for one meeting to unbind. Which will cost at least 3 additional meetings to bind with another role. Once your bind is active, your voting will not count for binding until you unbind yourself by skipping. This also forces the Parrot avoid skipping after binding with someone they want.
New description can be:
Vote twice for the same bird to steal its victory. Skipping vote will disable this.
Warden (Goose):
"You can put [N] players in prison for a whole round of games, and those you put in prison will be imprisoned for skills"
[N] = 1 + number of ducks
The Warden can use a skill in each session to put the player in player in jail for up to [N] times while making the skill user get an extra vote
(When a skill is used, when a player is voted out of the round meeting, the skill is invalid and the number of times is lost)
Players who are put in prison by the warden will be locked up for 30 seconds (skill cooldown is still calculated normally during this period)
(Being in prison includes being voted by the warden and being a skill user)
Intruder (Duck)
"You can pass through walls. All the tasks you've been given are fake."
The Intruder is a highly mobile Duck job with the ability to pass through walls.Vents, hiding spots, and forbidden passages cannot be used. Wall passing has a cooldown time of 20-25 seconds.When passing through walls, the Intruder can overlap with other players without any issues. This ability is available on all maps.
The Intruder excels at evading enemy detection, providing strategic mobility in both offensive and defensive playstyles. However, careful timing is required to avoid getting trapped or caught by enemies in restricted areas. The ability to pass through walls is powerful, but it doesn't guarantee safety from all threats.
Eskimo (Duck) ⭐ ⭐⭐
"Freeze the Geese. All the tasks you've been given are fake"
Kill Cooldown: 25
Ability (Button): Press a non-duck to place a Frost Mark. The next press (5 seconds after the mark) will freeze the non-duck for 10 seconds without a voice. The non-duck's screen will be completely blue for a while. If the astral plane flies, it also freezes. CD after freeze: 30 second. he can kill somebody only while someone freeze
Feature: Allows you to set up players by making them an Esper or Sniper. But they can also think of an Astral
Roles it counters: astral, looking, stalker and all peaceful killers.
Combos: Chandelier, invisible goose, bomber
Roles, that counter him: idk, but it not hardly to find him
🤖 gpt-4o
DJ (Duck) ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️
"Rock up on the dance floor! All the tasks you get are just music!"
Kill Cooldown: 30 seconds
Ability (Button): Click on the non-duck to create a Musical Vibration Circle. All non-ducks within a 3-square radius start dancing and cannot complete tasks for 10 seconds. At this time, they cannot speak, and their screen will flash colors. If any of the non-ducks try to kill while dancing, they will lose the opportunity to attack.
CD after using the ability: 40 seconds. DJ can only kill if one of the non-ducks couldn't complete the task due to dancing.
Feature: Allows you to confuse players by making them think they can complete tasks when in fact they are under the influence of an ability. It can also be used to create chaos during voting.
Doctor (Goose) ⭐ ⭐⭐
"I'm here to save lives! Every goose matters!"
Ability (Button): Press on a non-duck to provide medical assistance. This allows you to save one player from death within 30 seconds. If that player is killed, they will return to life with 1 health point. After using the ability, the Doctor has a 20-second cooldown.
Function: Can be used to prevent killings and protect other players. If the Doctor saves a player, they receive information about who the duck was if it happens within 10 seconds after the kill.
Arsonist (Neutral) ⭐ ⭐⭐
"Let everything burn! I love creating chaos!"
Ability (Button): Press on a non-duck to ignite them. The target will start burning and lose 1 health point every second for 5 seconds. If the target is not saved, they die. After using the ability, the Arsonist has a 30-second cooldown.
Function: Can be used to create chaos among players and destabilize the situation. If the Arsonist kills a player, they gain additional information about other players
Dog Master (Duck) ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐
"My dogs are always nearby, and they know what to do!"
Kill Cooldown: 30 seconds
Ability (Button): Press on a non-duck to release a dog. The dog will follow the target for 10 seconds. If the dog reaches the target, it deals 1 damage, and the target cannot speak for 5 seconds. After that, the Dog Master can kill the target. After using the ability, the Dog Master has a 40-second cooldown.
Function: Can be used to create pressure on other players and temporarily block their communication. If the Dog Master kills a player, they can gain information about the victim's role.
Crane
There is a nest on the levels
You have to take people there to win
You can't do anything in the nest
If the crane dies, all players in the nest are freed
Crane: neutral
+
Egg Thief
A crane can take people out of its nest one by one
Egg Thief : goose
Good idea tbh.
Swan (Geese)
The swan can shield one player(If he does 3 tasks) with his "feathers". If the person that the Swan shielded gets killed, he doesnt die and the Swan gets notified. The shielded Player doesnt know that he got shielded unless the swan tells the player.
Map: Every
Stars: ⭐⭐
The swan can't shield himself
The shield wears off when the swan died
Frigate Bird
Can cast an ability on people one by one like a pigeon
When cast on the second person, the first one explodes
When cast on the third, the second one explodes and so on
Frigate Bird: neutral
Medusa (Neutral)
Can turn people into stone, has a really long kill cool-down. If the Medusa dies only the last person turned to stone that round gets revived. Or maybe all people from the round but then It’s just feels like a reskinned pelican kinda.
Mirror (Goose)
Hold a special mirror, when attacked by the Medusa the Medusa get turned to stone instead. Maybe the Mirror is a reflect of all effects but has like a cool-down like 20 seconds and it only works for like 3 seconds before going back on cool-down. Reflecting attacks wouldn’t work but Medusa as metioned, Balloons from Clown or Party, Detective check, all those kind of things.
Mafia Expansion?
Godfather (Duck)
Can’t kill, Can turn specific Goose into Ducks.
Can Turn Goose Lover, into a Duck Lover.
Janitor, Avenger, Vigilante into a Duck. They won’t gain extra powers but are now part of the Duck team.
^ List of what Goose can be turned can probably be looked at because maybe even just turning 1 of any Goose into a Duck once a game would be strong enough.
Janitor (Goose)
Can Clean up Corpses. Cleaning up a Corse counts as completing a Task.
Only started playing a few months ago but just some ideas I had. Idk if they’re balanced.
Baby (neutral/goose)
Only has one Chance to target one player per game to get killed. If voted out, the player that was being chosen will get killed as well. If the targeted person was a duck the player whose being voted out survive if a goose too bad they both die.
That's my idea. 50/50 chance, gets it right u survive (voting only) you can change the name
İzci (Kaz)
Katil kill aldıktan sonraki 3 saniye boyunca ayak izi bırakır. İzci kaz bunu görebilmektedir.
married (goose)
if one of them is dead then the other can receive one message from the dead goose 5-7 word, the message can be sent till next voting, message will be recived at the next voting, the name of your married couple is purple.
if there is a married couple then there is no lover couple
I had this idea for a few months if it isn't written right I am not english
Role thief (duck)
Gets the ability from the first killed bird. If that is a neutral ability, then a role thief can win both as a duck and as a neutral. Killing a lover makes him a lover duck with another lover, and another lover doesn't die. Killing a bird that also can kill gives him the second kill button with a separate cooldown working as it works for the stolen role.
Peacock (Neutral)
Have a skill that can choose one player to help you
If the player dies you won't die
As long as you are alive, if any roles' win, you will win instead (the chosen player wins too)
add anything you want if it is too easy
well . i have an idea for a drug dealer duck . the role of the duck dealer would be you can sell to geese , but the geese wouldn’t know , you see , like the serial killer i think it is they have a target , so the duck dealer would simply just have a target , and instead of killing , you’d plant a drug onto the goose which will slowly kill them , they die after one meeting , unknowingly drugged by the duck , i feel maybe my plan is flawed but the gist of it is , basically a duck who drugs the geese , the duck dealer
i sent this here because i just realized this is the role ideas channel ^^
I think it is similar to the clown, my idea is they will realise that they were plant after 15-20s, and they will need to find drugs or pull a bell or else they will die
Some ideas I had for some different neutral Birds.
Parrot (Neutral)
Can mimic a players role. After completing enough (fake) tasks they may swap.
Just like the Pelican and Falcon they have a countdown when with the last 3 players.
Peacock (Neutral)
Their role is known to all the Geese. They can’t be voted out. Their Vote counts for 2. They may stun players leaving them unable to move and with reduced vision for a few seconds.
King fisher (Neutral)
They can kill but need to do tasks simulair to the soldier.
They can use an ability to walk faster.
Runner (Goose)
Needs to complete tasks to gain the ability to run for a few seconds.
Kiwi (Neutral)
Has reduced vision but has a shorter kill cool-down.
Crane (Neutral)
Can mark a person. This person won’t die and is part of the Crane team until the crane is dead they can’t kill the Crane. You may pick up other players and move them.

This seems like an interesting read. I might try to make 1 role in the future that’s more thought out my current ideas are mostly just inspiration and aren’t balanced in any way.
That's interesting, but it's necessary to define how all these neutrals win and what are their purposes. The idea of parrot is completed and, I consider, great.
But kiwi definitely shouldn't be a killer. And too much analogues of the falcon (killing neutrals) isn't right.

Merchant
Side: Neutral
Offers one random player a “deal” per round: protect them from a kill, or reveal a hint about someone.
?
Mathematician[Goose]
Tutorial Introduction: The closest player to you is always displayed at bottom left side.
(What is the ability??
Bottom left side of your screen will notice you who are closest to you.)
(If you are swallowed by Pelican, he will always be displayed until he dies or meeting starts.)
(If Morphling or Identity Thief is walking around you, their ORIGINAL color will be displayed.)
Achievements:
[Knowledge is more powerful than the sword: Win 75 times as Mathematician]
[One root(Hidden): Display one player for 1 minute, 5 times.
※'One player' doesn't mean 'same player'. Rather, your 1st player displayed for 1 minute and 2nd one must be different.]
Is that why the I see dead people achievement is for the medium
No, you have to be astral and see somebody die while using the ability 10 times.
The Parrot!
A neutral role there when you hear someone talk near you, you're able to mimic what they say by "recording" them with your action button. And you can then use that voice line in a meeting by playing it, and causes the border around the other persons banner to appear (the one you "recorded"), making everyone think they spoke in that moment in the meeting.
And if they were able to mimic a duck and get one/all voted out with their mimic ability the Geese don't win, but the Parrot does.
The Cloner
A Duck role where you are able to spawn clones of people, or yourself by using the DNA of another person, then the Clone action button that activates, the clone is present for 30 seconds, the clone speaks whatever the person you clone said and will move randomly, making them look like a morphling while you kill in ease, you can also mimic yourself to make you look innocent, the problem being that your clones cannot kill, making the role a bit more strategic than what most think.
swan a role on the duck side thats immune to all abilitys saying that they are a duck e.g if a detective uses their ability on them after they killed it says they are innocent.
robin: a role thats innocent they have access to cams or other things like the cab in that one map
these are some ideas more balanced aswell i think
Woodpecker
Neutral role
The woodpecker can create vents along the map for it, and ducks to use, if the ducks and woodpecker are still alive after the round ends, the woodpecker wins instead
Hawk Runner
Goose role
The Hawk runner, during lights out, has a buff in speed and can kill, but just like with any geese killing role, you only have one shot at it, and I'd you fail, you don't get another chance to kill.
Giant
Duck role
The Giant can extend it's vision and turn giant, it just can't move when it extends vision, and you move slower as a giant. it, since it is also very heavy, it may not be able to take bridges or light things, or else it will die from it falling, or failing.
Mention: Idea from others (小鸽子)
Inquisitor(goose)
Can choose a person in meetings, if the person is neutral or duck, the person dies. If the person is goose, the inquisitor dies.
One message removed from a suspended account.

Polemaetus bellicosus(neutral)
could reflect any attacks when use the ability (except bomb), wins after reflect 2-4times
astrologer(goose)
use ability to mark a person, last 10-20s , when the person dies, he/she will revive
Cuckoo(neutral)
choose 2 players to steal their abilities, the person will lose it and the cuckoo will get it, be the last one standing
lark(neutral)
mark 2 players, if the lark is attacked, the person will dies and the lark will be safe, be the last one standing
Architect[Duck]
Tutorial Introduction: You can use Wall sabotage that kill players caught in the wall. Your tasks are fake.
(What is the ability??
You can use Wall sabotage ―without unlocking by task― that kill players caught. It ignores the Adventurer's ability. You can't use other sabotages. You can also use your sabotage even in the Corrupt Mode. The space you can place the wall will be randomly chosen each game.)
[Achievements:
A skilled architect: Win 75 times as the Architect.]
new role: kookaburra
type: neutral
feature: after a certain number of missions, its feature is unlocked and it starts shouting and no one can hear anyone else's voice but they can talk, the kookaburra can hear everyone's voice. the microphone is fixed on and it opens even if it is off. murderers cannot kill anyone but geese that have the ability to kill can kill. the kookaburra cannot press the bell while shouting, the kookaburra has the right to kill someone. when it kills someone, it stops shouting and its right to kill ends. it needs to kill three people to win, that is, after shouting three times. a period of 2 or 3 minutes begins while shouting, if it does not kill anyone in that time, its shouting ends and its right to kill ends, it needs to complete a task to shout again.
Seagull[Neutral]
Tutorial Introduction: Killing someone will makes you steal their role. Your tasks are fake.
(What is the ability??
You can kill someone. Then, you now get their role. You can't win while you are still Seagull. If you win as Ducks or Geese, the win text will be 'Duck+Seagull victory' or 'Goose+Seagull victory'. If you win as Neutral, the win text will be '{Neutral name}[Seagull] victory'.)
[Achievements:
Spoon on(Piggyback off of someone’s efforts.): Kill the Falcon during the Falcon hunt and win as the Falcon.
You cannot achieve 'Hunted Hunter'.]
Dodo Killer [Neutral]
If someone kills You, You will win. Yours tasks are fake.
(Abilities) :
You can hide in vents and bushes
If someone Vote you, They can't move after the meeting for 30 seconds.
Skeptical (goose)
Player’s disguises have no effect on you (morphling, identity thef, invisibility, etc) (nightmode/corrupted included)
Players also can not use their special abilities on you(silencer, party, stalker, etc)

Has an ability to kill the duck or neutral role when they try and kill the silly goose (or swallow) when it is active, and can have somthing like a 40 sec cooldown and a five second use time (can change)
Daw

I would love to hear your opinions on this ideia
Platypus
Duck Role
- You are able to locate nearby moving birds for a few seconds.(active ability)
Would love to hear your opinions on this idea
Doppelgänger (Duck)
You can leave a silent, unmoving apparation of yourself in a location. You can teleport back to your doppelgänger or delete them remotely at any point.
Evil Engineer (Duck)
You can do a sabotage task as long as you can see the task in your field of vision (counters Engineer / sabotage tasks to some extent)
Madman (Duck)
Once per game, you can activate "frenzy mode" for 10 seconds (20 sec cooldown off spawn), in which your kill cooldown becomes 1 and your speed is increased by 100%. When it is activated, a deranged scream will be heard throughout the map by everyone. You will also glow red and leave red footsteps during this mode.
Executioner (Duck or Goose)
Once per game, remove all skip votes in a meeting.
Traper (Duck)
Has an ability to booby trap a body killing the first person who reports it(the ability has shared cooldown with kill)
You guys have gotten very creative
The Kiwi (a bird known to be born blind) Can blind others similar to a flash bang effect. Could be a sabotage on any room like the Warlock, or it could be you click on the “Flashbang” button and click where you want on your screen to blind anyone to get a sneaky kill
{1}
It's possible that this inspired you, or perhaps you coincidentally developed a similar role. In terms of the general design direction, we're trying to build a different game and we aren't really looking to replicate the roles found in modded Among Us or other social deductions! But thank you for taking the time to make a submission, we love this type of community engagement.
Sister (Duck)
"You can influence the corpse and get half the voting weight of the corpse. Your task is fake."
Duck camp, the whole map is universal, ventilation system and other similar system scenarios are not available
Nuns can influence dead bodies (effective when skills are used) and get half the voting weight of dead players (can be influenced by missionaries). If there is less than one vote, each corpse can only be influenced once
The voting weight of the nun's probation corpse will be cleared at the end of the session
(Remotable bodies do not include legs left by bomb blasts)
Teleport [Duck/Neutral killer]
You may tag someone. It will go on for 10-15 seconds to activate but you may press it again trigger it early.
Once activated, the target will be teleported on top of the culprit.
I'm from Brazil so I have to use Google Translate :p , this may not even reach the developers, but my idea is, owl if the light goes out you can (see in the dark or kill and the body disappears) false tasks, one of these two, if it's the one to kill in the dark it can be like this, the owl can kill normally, only turn off the light once per round, and when the light is off the owl kills and the body of the corresponding one disappears, or you can adapt it to something else to do with owls, now if it's the owl that sees in the dark there's not much to say it sees even with the sabotage of the light off but it doesn't see the name and color of the other players (nor the clothes and accessories), if this doesn't reach you that's fine, sorry if there are some things written wrong, again I'm from Brazil and I'm using Google Translate :p
Thanks for submitting an idea
I rely on Google translate alot myself but think the idea is well explained.
The hiding of bodies on kill is currently covered by the Professional Duck
if you're thinking a neutral role, what would make it a unique neutral? What differentiates itself and what is its goal?
If you're able to I recommend checking out and translating the Google Doc in #📌︱idea-channels-guidelines
Keep the ideas coming
never know, ideas could spark ideas
My idea is more so a resurrecting duck role so either they can resurrect themselves or teammate once so it can switch up the game a Lil and catch ducks off guard I think one or 2 revive to dumb it down and nit be to op and it could maybe have a certain time limit to revive or u perma die for the whole game and I think it would counter op roles like invisibility and identify thief
My ideea is a goose and a neutral role
Deputy (goose)
Can guess ducks and neutrals roles 3 times per game
If this role is on the sheriff will be turned off
Hen(neutral)
Has a special target to get voted out. If that target is a dodo both will win . This role is only for some maps . You guys choose
Role Idea:
Name: The Healer
Team: Goose
Description:
The Healer is a supportive role that belongs to the Goose team. Their unique ability allows them to revive one dead player upon finding their body. However, this powerful ability can only be used once per game, making it a strategic choice that must be used wisely.
To unlock this ability, the Healer must complete all their tasks first. Once all tasks are done, the revival ability becomes available and can be used on the next discovered body.
This role adds a new layer of strategy, as it encourages players to prioritize completing tasks while also offering a potential comeback for eliminated teammates.
The phantom
The phantom would be a neutral role who's goal is not be found they dissappear from the meeting list and can only be killed if someone presses a magnifying glass button (that would be where the kill or fix task button is) and win by completing their tasks
Name: The Laser (Need name suggestions)
Team: Neutral
Description:
The Laser is a role that belongs to the Neutral team. Their ability allows them to control the godzilla to use the Godzilla's laser to kill all the other birds
To get the ability, the Laser must complete all their tasks first. Once all tasks are done, the control ability becomes available and can be used when the person with the role wants to.
One message removed from a suspended account.
New role duck role
Backstabbed how it works is that if your with a person for 15 seconds you get to kill them.
my idea
name : T.P. / toilet paper (duck)
power : can put toilet paper on peoples foot just has to be around that person for 15 sec (it has a minute cooldown) that toilet paper is on the place where the guy is or was in the last 15 second and he sees the color of the player of the T.P. but only can use it on 2 person at a time (can choose wich one to unfollow)
downside : kill cooldown is 40 sec in normal not the normal 20
@earnest imp Remember these are ideas channels, a space for ideas
#📌︱idea-channels-guidelines feel free to build upon other ideas but do not discourage others from proposing theirs
I got three
Pinguin: Duck
It can "morph", going onto its belly to slide, during this it speeds up in straightaways about 1.75x to 2x faster, but if you change direction you slow to 0.50x to 0.25x for about a second. Taking another turn while slowed resets that particular timer
Your kill, is freezing the target in a block of ice, (maybe a statue).
Once frozen a timer starts, if the timer reaches zero, you die. You can be unfrozen before and after you die. The other players won't know you died until your unfrozen.
Role 2: Turkey; Goose
A simple role idea, the more tasks you do the more "Health" you have. Meaning it can possibly take multiple attacks to kill you.
Role 3
The Chick; Neutral
A obvious role.
The Chick is half the size of a regular player, with twice the speed, slipping between other players and potentially getting them killed. And access to NON-KILLING sabotages, a.e. lights, doors, ect.
It just brings a touch of chaos
The winning conditions are as follows:
Pinguin; you win with the Ducks, a.e. all Geese are killed.
Turkey; You win with the geese, a.e. all Ducks are killed.
The Chick; You win being the last one alive
@cinder bridge
We love to see your ideas and concepts.
new role: turkey
pairs with gravy (if someone chooses turkey someone in the round has to be gravy vice versa)
gravy can power turkey by doing tasks (do like 10 tasks or something) and then turkey gets a kill every time that task amount is hit.
if gravy dies they both die but if turkey dies gravy lives
kill animation will be GET STUFFED (get it its thanksgiving themed)
could remove / rename soldier to this (optional if yall think thats too many similar roles - could be a thanksgiving special role too)
Seems like lovers with extra steps., but decently thought of pairing the two. With gravy redirecting the shots to a role that can take multiple hits ,it's not a bad combo. Maybe have repeatable tasks for the turkey role specifically, because on some maps each goose would only get like 3-5.
And I full hearty agree that the turkey's death anim, is literally being stuffed
Role Name: Steel Politician
Description:
A Politician with an iron will. Immune to being voted out and now more powerful than ever.
Abilities:
Double Vote: You vote twice in every meeting.
Cannot Be Voted Out: Steel Politician is immune to exile votes.
Punishment Right: If 5 or more votes are cast on you during a meeting, you gain a one-time Punishment Right for that round.
Punishment Right Ability:
You can send any player to jail for the next round. They will be locked and unable to leave or interact - and no one can open the cell until the round ends.
Note: If he can vent, he can still escape.
You are right that it may seem too op at first, but if you find my idea appropriate, I want to create a mod consisting of these roles. This will be a mod called Ultimate Mod and all the roles except the simple goose will be strengthened.
Don't worry, I will balance the roles among themselves.
I made this role fun and strategic, by the way, I am thinking of adding a minimum level requirement of 30 level to the mod I want to make. My mod is for advanced and experienced players.
new role: chameleon
the chameleon can turn invisible for 5 seconds, but only if they stay completely still. the moment they move, the ability ends and they become visible again.
use it to hide from others, sneak past people, or set up ambushes — but it takes timing and patience. if you're too quick to move, you waste the invis.
can be either goose. It's more about evasion and stealthy survival.
cooldown is 20 seconds. invis effect could have a subtle shimmer when active to keep it fair.
Radar (Duck)
They can interact with hiding spots and vents to automatically force any player within those specific hiding spots and vents to exit them. Radar can also vent and hide and kill like a normal duck.
I just thought of this specifically to counter players just hiding in hiding spots for full rounds.
New role: prophet
Ability: use ability that looks like a candle and then they can see ghost but they do NOT get to hear them
Team:Goose
Shapeshifter Is already in game bUT good ideas mě personály i would do that parasite role more like He starts As a Guy but has a limited time And has to get a host then He would kill And when He wants another host He would find someone other then got in him And killed thé previous host
Silencer buff maybe?
After a meeting proximity chat doesn’t work until a meeting is called (so silencer finally gets a better ability and so silencer can chain abilities)
Cupid 2.0. Linked players' effects are all common. If one of them is voted out, another one too. If one is silenced, preached, partied, mimed or assassinated, another one too. If spy checks one of them, he will find out the roles of both. If a bomb was planted on one of them, the 2nd bomb will be planted on another player. But that's also works with goose and neutral effects. If detective investigates one of them, another will be investigated. If mortician checks one of their corpses, he will know both their roles even if the second corpse hasn't been found. If pigeon sneezes one of them, another one will be sneezed. And sensor sees the linked players as light-pink dots on his scanner's map.
Role Name: Decoy
Type: Goose
Alignment: Good
Ability:
Once per game, you can drop a fake body of yourself anywhere on the map. The body will appear dead to everyone else, including Ducks. If someone reports it, a meeting will be triggered with you listed as “dead” — but you are still alive and hidden as "Unknown" on the voting screen until the next meeting.
Goal:
Complete all tasks or vote out all evil roles.
Strategy Tips:
Use the fake body to bait Ducks into revealing themselves.
Confuse Ducks or Neutrals trying to kill you.
Best used when you suspect a Duck is nearby.
Map Compatibility: All maps.
Role Name: Cold Feet
Type: Duck
Ability: Every 40 seconds, choose a disaster to occur in the match. You cannot use sabotages.
Disaster 1: A bomb [15 Seg] for a random goose in the round
Disaster 2: Leave all the birds blind in the round, they all turn gray and have no name. They also won't be able to speak, after a meeting everything goes back to normal. (Do 2 Kills to unlock)
Disaster 3: The next person to call a meeting will die as soon as voting begins. (Do 3 Kills to unlock)
From ssundee's random roles :]
new role. puppeteer (duck), takes control of any player and kills him with wings (well, like not with hands but with wings, well, because they are birds 🤣), to do this you need to pass by the player and activate your ability, and then activate it again to control the player and kill him with the wings of another player (depending on how you want it, according to my idea you can control the player at any time, but you can make him a timer), he is somehow similar to a mime.
(Would say avenger, but that already exists) Goose
Kill anyone who has already killed, else misfire (even if they can kill)
Role: Echo
Type: Neutral
Goal: Copy one player’s last action five times during the game to win.
🛠️ Ability:
Mimic Step (10s cooldown): Instantly repeat the last action of any player you were near. This includes:
Doing a task
Killing
Reporting
Sabotaging
Voting
Skipping
🎯 Win Condition:
Successfully copy five different actions across the game.
You win solo instantly after the 5th mimic.
If you die, get voted out, or the game ends too soon → you lose.
⚠️ Rules:
You cannot perform original actions — only copies.
If you mimic a kill, it has a 15s cooldown before reuse.
Can’t talk during meetings.
Technician [Goose] (not an old role that was an alternative of engineer). Has a menu of sabotages like ducks have. By doing duck tasks he unlocks buttons of sabotages, but these buttons have another purpose. By doing enough tasks he gets an ability to lock one of sabotages so ducks have to unlock it again. Another version: by doing each task he gets an ability to make temporary stray in launching of one of sabotages, so this sabotage can't be launched for 10—15 seconds.
Role:Substitute doll
Type:neutral
Goal:Win the match by getting 3 kills from other players (this role has no killing ability)
Ability:
If another player is killed, the role-holder has a 50% chance of committing suicide to cover up the murder.
The role-holder will only be revived the next turn if the meeting is ongoing, one vote is cast for either the murderer or the murdered victim (or one vote for both), and the role-holder commits suicide using the role's ability.
A role-suicide leaves no corpse behind, and the microphone remains connected until the meeting ends, so the role-holder will be considered alive from the perspective of other players.
!!!:
If you are killed or voted out normally, you will be considered dead normally.
Flavor text:
There won't be a next time for those bastards.
That's interesting, but I didn't understand some mechanics. What is the condition of the suicide and can you influence on it? Can you vote for the murderer if you're suicided? Can you commit a suicide inside a pelican? What do you mean saying "vote for murdered victim", it's impossible to vote for dead birds!
And if a sheriff killed a goose, there is no alive murderer, and there aren't any votes for the sheriff. So that way you have no chance to revive?
Suicide Condition:
Another player is killed.
If this situation occurs, the role holder has a 50% chance of committing suicide.
If a player in a suicidal state participates in a meeting, if a player other than the role holder casts at least one vote for either Duck, who should have killed Goose, or Goose, who should have been killed by Duck, during the turn before the meeting (one vote for each is acceptable), the role holder's suicide state will be lifted and they will be revived after the meeting.
Also, between a system in which position holders are voted down and a system in which they are reinstated after a meeting, the system in which position holders are voted down is stronger.
A player with this role can still vote if they have the suicide ability activated, but their vote will be invalid.
★“A pelican?”★
Excuse me, but I still don't know what a "pelican" is.
~~~
However, it is possible to vote out a suicidal player, because that person will appear alive until the end of the meeting, and if the suicidal player is voted out at the end of the meeting, that person will be officially declared dead.
!!!
However, if there are no votes for these two, the role holder will die.
During the meeting, role holders appear to be alive, so non-role holder players can still vote for them.
If the Goose player kills a Goose, the suicide effect of the kill does not occur.
In this role, the suicide effect occurs only if the Duck player attempts to kill a Goose.
"It's impossible to vote for a dead bird"
↑ Sorry, I was too busy trying my skills to think about this obvious fact.
This means that if a murder occurs due to a third party, the person with this role cannot prevent it. In other words, it doesn't make much sense for a third party.
< ><
*I know this is a strange answer, but this is the best I can do right now.
If there are any holes in it, I'll answer like this if you don't mind.
It looks like a substitute doll has to do nothing to win because its victory completely depends on the actions of other players. Geese can't prevent or even reveal these suicides, and by voting out ducks they make not their victory but the victory of this neutral.
It will help me create my next role. Thank you.
@fathom patio not an inconvenience at all! Keep the ideas and suggestions coming. Be sure to check out the #📌︱idea-channels-guidelines for some insight/suggestions to think about when thinking about ideas
The real interesting ideas are the ones that add to gameplay and easy to understand
Maid (goose)
Do tasks to gain an additional votes during meetings
• Note: The amount of tasks you need to do for each additional vote is 10
Wizard (duck)
Once per round, you can cast a spell on a corpse making it temporarily hidden
Details: when you find out a corpse and wait for 5s cooldown, you can use your abilities to make it hidden for 10s. That corpse then wont be able to be seen by non-duck roles but
, reported or using other abilities on.
Note:
is an exception.
Troublemaker (duck)
Kill during emergency to decrease the time of emergency timer. The cooldown is recovered faster during emergency.
• Notes: The cooldown of this role is increased by 10s
Judge (Goose)
If the vote is tie, the person you vote will be lynched instead
Journalist (Goose) (finding better names)
You can mask players to know where they are once they are killed.
• Note: The cooldown is 60s
Platypus (neutral)
Win as last survivor. Choose room to poison (lasts 12 seconds) to kill players as your sabotage (CD same as ducks(?)).
@heavy hatch Thank you for translating other members ideas to French. Just a quick reminder that this is a English discord server unless otherwise mention (e.g. LFG channels such as #lfg-français ) as most of the team use English as a primary language and helps with moderation purposes.
If you would like to suggest ideas or build upon other members ideas you are more than welcome to here in English please and thanks
Ok but can you Creat a server fore this in french because m'y Friends in frenche d'ont understand what you says .
We do offer a #lfg-français channel for our French community to talk to each other. If community members would like to host an Unofficial French GGD community server, they are welcome to do so
Yes and i says thank you for that but m'y friends d'ont want see m'y new idée
We should do a parasite duck role
How it works is just like the demo but you pass around a parasite and you give it to a person and they die after next meeting, but if they vote out the duck that gave them the parasite then they don’t die
Ornithelogist - duck job that assassinates if it matches and commits suicide if it is wrong.
조류학자 - 오리 직업 맞추면 죽이고 틀리면 자살하는 직업
Even a goose can be assassinated
거위도 암살 할 수 있게
Hijacker - Duck that can "infect" a Goose so that whenever this duck calls a sabotage, the sabotage appears to have been called by the goose. I would imagine it works like morphing where they are "infected" until you call the sabotage. Then you have to pick a new person.
Ostrich (neutral)
Win as last survivor. Burry your head in ground to search for your victims remotely. You can't vote during meetings.
Notes: he works similarly to sniper. Difference is that his neck will leave some trail by which you can find where he's standing. Optionally he isn't killing but eating his victims like pelican
Astral buff: allow astrals to be able to do tasks in ghost mode, this allows people to stay in astral and for the less experienced players to have a use for it, and makes people more inclined to use astral for longer, also make the move speed/vision a bit better so it’s not as easy to lose people
High flyer (duck)
Can fly over walls for a limited amount of time
No actually it's called eagle
L'animateur : son but c'est d'être le dernier en jeux , il peut infecter des personnes, des qu'elle sont infecter elle vote comme lui et leurs bute sera alors de faire gagner l'animateur, lorsque l'animateur meurt les infecter son alerte et alors il redevienne normaux et leurs bute redevienne comme avant
My idea:
(Good role)
Zapbill:
Your electrically charged beak allows you to stun a nearby player for a short time, preventing them from moving or using abilities. Use this to interrupt sabotage, stop suspicious players, or make a quick escape.
But beware: stunning the wrong bird might draw unwanted attention...
Ability – Shock Touch:
Stun a nearby player for 3 seconds.
Cooldown: 30 seconds.
Range: Very short (melee).
Also here a bad role:
(bad role)
Fowlstep
You can mark one player and see their footprints as they move around the map.
Use this to hunt your target down and strike when the moment is right.
While tracking a target, you cannot use vents or sabotage.
Your ability works on 1 player for 30seconds.
Cooldown :45 seconds
Range: full map
Can you exclude the Canadian's opportunity of being a serial killer's target, please? Serial killer is a difficult role even without targeting the Canadian, but with it it becomes impossible.
Jay (Neutral)
Gather a certain number of votes to win, but don’t get voted out. Your tasks are fake.
(The Jay cannot vote for themselves. 5 players – 3 votes, 9 – 6 votes, 13 – 7 votes, 16 – 9 votes required to win.)
Related Achievements:
- Look at Me – Win as the Jay 75 times
- Bright Feathers, Loud Voice – Collect 120 votes
- Too Vocal – Get voted out but still collect the required number of votes
Vocalist (Duck)
Once every 30 seconds, you can emit a loud sound. After 10 seconds, you may kill a random player who heard it. Your tasks are fake.
(You cannot kill other Ducks or the Mimic with your sound.)
Related Achievements:
- Magnificent Voice – Win as the Vocalist 75 times
- Bleeding Ears – Kill 150 players with your sound
- Listen to My Song – Make one player hear your singing 3 times in a single game without them dying from it
Sleepwalker (Goose)
During meetings, you can move around the map and see the locations of other players and corpses.
Related Achievements:
- I Just Want to Sleep – Win as the Sleepwalker 75 times
- Sleepwalking – Move during meetings as the Sleepwalker 150 times
Makeup Artist (Duck)
Only once per game, you can plant a fake corpse that explodes and kills anyone within a certain radius once reported. Your tasks are fake.
(they can still kill normally)
Related achievements:
Too good to be true- Trick 75 people with fake bodies as the Makeup Artist
Degree in Cosmetology- Win 75 games as the Makeup Artist
If the role-holder gathers more votes than it's needed, does he/she die or win?
Can a fake corpse be reported? How does the role-holder set whose corpse it will be? And what happens to a vulture if he/she eats a gunpowdered corpse?
The fake bodies do not get reported. They explode and leave no trace. Whats left is the feet of anyone who was within the radius of the explosion.
The game will randomly generate a corpse of a player who is still alive in that round. The feather color of said corpse does not change even if that player with the same color dies.
I also had a second idea where the makeup artist could manually select the feather color, but it feels extra since this ability in itself can be only used once per game
The vulture will explode if they try to eat the fake corpse.
Hope this helps :)
wins unless he gets kicked out
Cuckoo (Neutral)
The Cuckoo can take control of one player's mind each round.
This has no immediate effect during the round itself, but during the voting phase, the Cuckoo can vote not only on their own behalf but also on behalf of the controlled player.
If no Ducks remain in the game, a countdown begins — once it ends, the Cuckoo wins.
Related Achievements:
- Coo-coo, Coo-coo – Win as the Cuckoo 75 times.
- Replacement – During a vote, eliminate a player by casting votes both as the Cuckoo and through the controlled player.
- Like-minded – Eliminate 3 non-Goose players in a single round using both the Cuckoo and the controlled player.
So the controlled player votes for the same person as the Cuckoo or for any chosen? For example, if the Cuckoo is controlling the Snitch, votes of the Cuckoo and the Snitch are always paired, or the Cuckoo can choose who the Snitch votes for and then vote for another bird? And how does Cuckoo's ability works with a Falcon/Pelican which can't vote at all?
the cuckoo can vote for another player for the controlled player, not the same one for whom she voted. As for the falcon and the pelican, the cuckoo can vote for anyone for them, because she should not know that it is a falcon or a pelican
the very essence of what the falcon and the pelican miss is that they would not help throw out the ducks and the peaceful ones who can kill, like the Sheriff and thus win, because there will be no one to kill
But with a Cuckoo's help, they can? Or still can't?
Cuckoo can try to vote on behalf of the falcon or pelican, but will that work?
If the cuckoo throws out all the ducks, the countdown to its victory will begin. And for the falcon or pelican, it will only be when there are 3 players. In the case when both the cuckoo and the falcon/pelican are alive and there are no ducks, then the countdown will be for the cuckoo, and then for the pelican/falcon. In general, I think that it is better if the cuckoo cannot be together with the pelican/falcon
yes, but as I wrote above, it will be better if she can't be with the pelican/falcon
So here are some other achievement for the Cuckoo:
● It was so close... – Playing as a Cuckoo, when you're going to be voted out, make a tie using a Cuckoo's vote and a controlled player's vote and prevent voting out of yourself.
● Don't listen him – Playing as a Cuckoo, when a Dodo is going to be voted out, make a tie using a Cuckoo's vote and a controlled player's vote and prevent voting out of the Dodo.
● Boomerang effect – Playing as a Cuckoo, control a Snitch or a Spy and return their votes to themselves when they are trying to vote for you.
Twin (Duck)
In each round, the Twin is randomly assigned a counterpart — a "Twin-Civilian" (to avoid confusion, this is the term used for the non-duck twin). During the round, the Twin (Duck) can transform into their Twin-Civilian. While transformed, anything the Twin-Civilian says will also be echoed by the Twin (Duck), as if spoken by them.
If the Twin-Civilian has a killing ability (e.g., Sheriff, Falcon, Soldier), the Twin (Duck) gains a faster kill cooldown while disguised.
If either twin dies — regardless of who — the other dies instantly as well.
Related Achievements:
- Twins – Win as the Twin 75 times
- Brother for Brother – Kill your twin and die as a result
- Identical – Transform into your twin 150 times
Cool
Atomic Duck (Duck)
Instead of a standard kill button, you have two abilities: Infect and Detonate Infected.
- You can infect players similarly to the Pigeon.
- Once infected, players can be detonated all at once in a massive explosion.
- However, for each infected player, the cooldown for infecting doubles.
- After detonating, the infection cooldown resets.
Use timing and strategy to maximize your explosive potential!
Related Achievements: - Atomic Blast – Win as the Atomic Duck 75 times
- Chain Reaction – Kill 4 or more players with a single detonation
- Broken Chain – Only detonate one person at a time and still win
2 role idea
1st platypus (neutral)
2nd doctor (duck)
sees a hat above the platypus and he can place down a line destroyer or something , that "line destroyer" makes that they cant report bodies near like 1m
had parry the platypus in mind while writing this
⸻
Shadow duck (duck)
You can mark players to make their vision shrunk the next round. Your tasks are fake
• The cooldown of your abilities is 30s
• The vision of marked players will be shrunk as small as possible (like your vision in dark sabotage)
That's kinda broken...
Pretty good actaully
- Sith Lord (Darth Vader / Palpatine Inspired)
Ability: Force Choke – Silently kill a nearby player from a short distance every 25 seconds.
Passive: Appears as a “Force-Sensitive Goose” to Investigative roles.
Counter: Can be tracked by Jedi roles or revealed with a Truth Serum (custom item)
How would this role differ from Esper? Aside from referencing a large mouse IP
esper is pretty obvious as you would have to interact with them for your passive, and if someone sees u then u are most likely to get suspected. Whereas in Sith lord you just have to be in range and u can remotely choke the player
its like if invis and esper were one, you dont have to be near people and easiest way to counter groups
- Role Name: The Stalker
Main Ability – “Obsess”
Choose one player to obsess over. That player is highlighted to you at all times, even through walls
You deal double kill range to your obsessed target — but only one can be active at a time.
Cooldown: 20 seconds to change target.
Counterplay:
If the obsessed target survives for too long, they get a “paranoid” buff: they receive a warning when the stalker is near.
So it's pretty similar to a vampire from trick-or-treat. And it's too hard to investigate such kills.
i guess? i havent played the other game .. also i was thinking ways this can get countered
which i believe easily
Role idea: Shifter
The shifter is a geese role that has the ability to swap roles with other geese. Once you swap roles, the person you swapped with becomes the new shifter
Counter: If you shift with a duck or a neutral, you die
So it would be useful if ducks have found out who is the Canadian or the Celebrity. You can swap roles with such geese, and ducks can kill you thinking that you're not the Canadian or kill the ex-Celebrity and say that the Celebrity died. Nice idea.
Role idea: the warp
:Duck role:
the ability of the warp will be able to teleport a body anywhere on the map similar to how the sniper works but will not be able to see other player when in the ability ( the body only disappears when you finish teleporting the body) also cant put bodies in only duck areas and cant vent
Some maps that would be way to broken as there are duck only zones that you could put it in
Or you have to have the ability to vent
true
I mean they could code it so it’s not but still
maybe
can u make a role called the eagle and they choose a target and if the target dies the eagle wins
it would be only enabled in 8+ player lobbies
Ive played for 3 years
if someone kills the eagle the target no longer matters
you could explain it by saying if your target dies u win your tasks are fake
and that's it
Might need to add a little more because as the game goes on the more likely that specified player will meet its untimely end
especially if youre looking at a neutral with its own unique win condition
Role idea: Detective
The Detective is a goose role that has the ability to temporarily see the footprints of a player on the map. The ability has a cooldown of 20 - 30 seconds.
Counter: The footprints can only be seen if the player went into that room 10 - 15 seconds before the ability was enabled
Before ya'll say "The Detective already exists," that's true, but I'm finding ways to make it more useful
Role idea: Suppressor
So the suppressor is a duck that can interact with geese and the next meeting they can not speak
Don't we already have that?
We have the silencer
idk
Pyschic (duck) (Post-duck reworked):
You can send private messages to other ducks unidirectionally during meetings. Your tasks are fake
Details:
• During meetings you have a button to open duck chat where you can send unlimited private messages to all other ducks including mimic. The length of a private message is equal to the length of a normal one.
• Other ducks and mimic dont have an own duck chat but will see your messages in their normal chat once you send messages. Also, they do not know who is pyschic (they can only see a duck icon with a ? symbol at the middle and the name is "pyschic")
Swordman (Duck)
You can kill multiple people in your range simultaneously when you complete enough tasks, but reset at the start of each round or when you kill someone. The requirement is increased arithmetically for each time you do enough tasks. Your tasks are fake
Details:
• The requirement is always set at 4 at the beginning of each round. When you complete enough tasks, you can kill 2 ppl at the same time. Then, if you want to kill 3 ppl, you have to finish more 5 tasks and so on.
• There are two counters that allows you to know how many remain tasks you have to complete (left-above corner) and ppl you can kill at the same time (right-below corner).
• Sabotage tasks and special tasks like Pay Respects are not counted
• Available in all maps (can be adjusted for a better fit)
Wsp
Role idea:pinguim
Type:neutro
Skills:As the penguin you can freeze a player for 7 seconds and if no one unfreezes that player will be eliminated and his body will fall apart without being able to be reported And whoever is around self-reports the body.
The more bodies the penguin eliminates, the shorter the skill's cooldown will be, reaching a maximum of 8 seconds.
Cooldawn:The first 3 kills are 30 seconds, the next 3 kills are 18 seconds, and the last 4 kills are 8 seconds.
I guess it can be a good role but I thibk we should have a cooldown from the time you use the kill until the victim freezed, like
I noticed that we have very few neutrals in the game, compared to ducks and geese. So here are some neutral roles that I came up with, but more balanced, and I also added a few more
Cuckoo (Neutral)
Each round, the Cuckoo can take control of one player’s mind. This doesn't affect the round itself, but during voting, the Cuckoo can vote both as themselves and as the controlled player.
Win Condition: If there are no Ducks, Falcon and Pelican left in the game, а timer starts. When it expires, the Cuckoo wins.
🟢 Achievements:
- Cuckoo! — Win 75 times as the Cuckoo.
- Swap-Out — Vote out the player you controlled by voting for them both as yourself and as them.
- One Mind — Eliminate 3 non-geese in one round using yourself and the controlled player.
Jay (Neutral)
Your task is to gather a certain number of votes during meetings without getting voted out. Your tasks are fake.
(You can’t vote for yourself. Required votes: 3 with 5 players, 6 with 9, 7 with 13, 9 with 16.)
🟢 Achievements:
- Look at Me! — Win 75 times as the Jay.
- Loud and Proud — Accumulate 120 votes.
- Too Noisy — Get voted out but still complete your win condition.
Peacock (Neutral)
Each round, you’re randomly assigned a secret love interest. They don’t know about it.
If they die or are voted out in the same round, you die too.
If you die, they also die.
You win if you survive and there are two other players left. Can’t appear if Lovers are in the game.
🟢 Achievements:
- Beautiful Bird — Win 75 times as the Peacock.
- My Tail is My Treasure — Change love interests 300 times.
- Beauty Hurts — Die due to the death of your love interest.
Infected (Neutral, only in map eagleton springs)
You can repair or sabotage objects.
If an active infection is present, you can kill.
Win if all Ducks are dead and you’ve killed at least one Duck or neutral bird.
🟢 Achievements:
- Infection — Win 75 times.
- Plague of Time — Trigger sabotage 150 times.
- Infected Blade — Kill 200 players.
- Virus Uprising — Kill all Ducks in a match.
Parrot (Neutral)
Once per round, you can mute a player like a Silencer. Additionally, during voting, you can type in chat as that player.
If the muted player gets voted out — you win.
If it’s a Dodo — the Dodo wins instead.
🟢 Achievements:
- Fallen, Yet Glorious — Win 75 times as the Parrot.
- What Did You Say? — Mute 250 players as the Parrot.
Lovebirds (Neutral)
There are always two of them.
Similar to Lovers, but don’t know who their partner is.
You must find your partner by testing during meetings. A test is successful if you’re the only one to vote for a player (like the Spy). If you find your partner, their name will appear in pink even outside meetings.
Win if only you two remain. Cannot appear if Lovers are present.
🟢 Achievements:
- True Love — Win 50 times as the Lovebirds.
- Just One Vote — Find your partner with your first test.
Stormpetrel (Neutral, only in map ancient sands)
Can only kill during sandstorms with fast cooldown.
Goal: survive. Then a countdown begins like with Pelican or Falcon.
Can’t be with Pelican or Falcon but can appear with Vulture.
Can’t vote.
🟢 Achievements:
- Stormbird — Win 75 times.
- Under Cover of Storm — Kill 250 players.
Seagull (Neutral)
Like Falcon: can kill, doesn’t vote.
To kill, you must grab a player and carry them.
If you carry them far enough — they die. Also during this the seagull becomes invisible, and the player it is dragging cannot speak.
If a meeting is called before the kill — they survive.
Can’t appear with Falcon or Pelican, but can with Vulture.
🟢 Achievements:
- Beachside Slayer — Win 75 times.
- Grab and Gone — 250 successful grabs.
Inspector (Goose):
You can inspect two players to see if they are on the same team.
Seagull and Stormpetrel seem exceedingly cool
Arsonist (duck)
You can ignite players doused in gasoline. If doused with gasoline players touch ignited players, they will also be ignited.
Details:
• Cooldown of gasoline dousing is 30s and of igniting ability is 15s
• Ducks cannot be doused if there is no mimic
• When a player is ignited, they will be still and a fire will appear around them for 5s. If a doused player touch the fire, they will catch fire and now also ignited
• After the fire gone, only the legs of ignited player remain. Which mean this role can kill canadian without self reporting.
• If there is reporting while someone is burning, those players still die
Achievements:
• Just simply play with fire: Win 75 times as arsonist
• Like phoenixes but never return: Ignite 500 players
• Chain reaction: Make at least 8 players catch fire in a single igniting
Thanks
neutral role, have player that you have to kick and if this player is kicked during meeting you win but if he dies you dont
that already exists
dodo bird
Knight (goose)
You can kill once each time you report a body not killed by you.
Achievement:
• Rules will never be broken: Win 75 times as Knight
• An eye for an eye: Report a body and kill the killer next round third
• I was wronged: As a duck, killed by Knight while they report a body killed by another duck
Owl (goose)
It can see in the dark just like a birdwatcher
no
dodo have to be kicked out
but role i meant have to kick targeted player
Psychopath (goose):
You can permanently kill during sabotage.
Casper (goose):
- this goose only works once your dead
Passive:
Once dead you become color blind however players can now see you
Abilities:
you can fix sabotages
Once per game you may give a player a shield which lasts until an attempted murder on said play(you won’t know which player because you are colour blind)
I think he meant the opposite of a dodo bird, you are intentionally trying to vote them out, they win if they are killed
no i mean dodo have to get kicked out and role i meant have to kick out someone else
hacker duck: you can peform one sabotage without having to unlock them (i couldnt think of a better name)
You mean executioner from town of salem
I kinda like that idea actually
Itd be challenging to pull off though
exacly
Mastermind neutral
May Takes the ability of other goose or ducks and but only once wins by taking all other living creatures rules may also use the ability they take but only once
Moohui (Goose)
It is immune to the special abilities of ducks.
(Of course, the assassin's gun is also immune)
Poisoner (Duck)
He can give another player poison that will kill them after a while
Judge (works only for Maps that contain jail, goose ): similar to jailor from tos, during a meeting you can jail pl permanently until another meeting IS called ( this has 3 charges during all the round), you may chose to execute 1 person in jail when you aproach to it, if you kill a duck/neutral you can jail again but cant execute again, if you kill a goose you and the player who was jailed will be executed
Bartender (duck)
You can poison players to make them stunned for a while
Details:
• Your special ability has 25s cooldown. When you poison someone, they will be stunned after 10s.
• Stunned players cannot move nor see anything nor use ability (like
when they active their ability). The ability lasts for 10s.
• When someone is stunned, people around them can realize it by the star symbols above their head
İ have 2 neutral role ideas; -Phoenix(alternative role for pelican and Falcon) -Parrot(this role is can be put in same category with dodo). +How Phoneix works:You can hex 2 players during game after every meeting.After every meeting your hexes will be deleted.Meanwhile in meeting if both people you hexed is alive you can kill both of them during the meeting.İf you alive in last 4 peoples you gain to just kill normal like ducks. +How Parrot works:At the beggining of the game you will get target that has goose role.İf you can hang your target you will be only winner in game.if your target dies another target will be given to you randomly in meeting.
boxer- DUCK
punch a goose, same effect as the punch on the spin a wheel
fighter- GOOSE
if get punched by duck, punch effect doesn't work and gains a kill charge
EAGLE- nuetral (cannot kill untill voted out)
Can enter flying mode but can't come down for 10 secs
If you are voted out in meetings, Come back and get a 5sec kill cooldown
I have a Neutral role idea;
Role Name: Swan 🦢
Difficulty: ★ ★ ★
Goal: Find a lover and win with them. Your lover can be a Goose or a Duck, but not another Neutral.
Skill: Bond
Usage: 1-time use
~ Select a player to be your lover
~ If you attempt to bond with a Neutral role,
you will k1ll yourself. You cannot bond with
Neutrals at all.
Name Color:
White Swan:
~ If you bond with Goose you can help Geese
complete their task by doing your fake task.
Black Swan:
~ If you bond with Duck, you gain the ability
to k1ll but only twice. (Note: You don’t know
who the other Ducks are, and the other
Ducks won’t know about your bond with
their teammate.)
Grey Swan:
~ If you don't have a partner yet or you died
without a partner.
Passive: Heartbreak
~ if either of you dies, the other will d1e
instantly. (Note: If you d1e, you can still win
if your lover's team or faction wins the
game.)
New duck idea
Frozen
Skill: freeze
Able to set a trap that freeze geese
Cooldown: 15sec
Stays for 5 mins
Gets destroyed if a meeting is called
Freeze time: 1 min
Duck gets an alert when the trap is activated
I have a neutral role idea but the GGDGuidebot deletes it when I send it
New goose idea heavy
Passive, takes two ducks to be taken out
Only available in games with two ducks
But is REALLY SLOW
Is this it? Not sure exactly what the bot flagged. Sometimes it sends a DM with the reason.
★★★
If you are still alive, the Ducks can only win by sabotage, killing or voting out the remaining Goose. Geese can only win if the remaining Duck are voted out or killed by killing Goose.,
The Penguin receives a signal if there is only one Duck or one Goose remains alive in the game.,
Win Condition: You must kill the remaining Goose or the remaining Duck still alive in the game to win.```
yes
copy/pasting it would still get it flagged 😅
Potentially it might be the repeated text of goose or duck. We recommend ideas that are two short sentences to avoid being flagged
but I can see it and have read it, we read everything
Duck: slasher
When killing if another goose sees the kill you can kill again
Neutral: cultist
Able to sacrifice either geese/ducks and after being sacrificed the geese/duck can't talk
Sacrifice 3 geese/ducks to see who the ducks are
Neutral: Recruiter
Can recruit 2 players to join the recruiter team. They can only win with the recruiter and not their original team. Cannot recruit neutrals unless you check a box in settings.
Goose: shopper
No Cooldown
Able to shop for stuff
Speed boosters: boost speed
Knife: one use, kill
Skipper: skip one task
Iron armor: two lives
Get money by finding it around the map being about 100-400 cash per
Cost:
Speed boosters: 100$
Knife: 400$
Skipper: 500
Iron armor: 2k
Have more stuff i want to add
But it don't know
Journalist (goose)
You can mark other players to recover their roles once their body reported. Reset each round
Note:
• The cooldown of your ability is 40s
Role Name: Penguin 🐧
Faction: Neutral
Difficulty: ★ ★ ★
- If Penguin are still alive, the Ducks can only win by sabotage
- if Penguin are still alive, the Ducks can't win even if all the Geese are dead. They must kill the Penguin to win.
- Penguin can only be in the game if neither the Pelican nor the Falcon are.
Goal: The Penguin wins if they kill enough players. The amount of players the Penguin needs to kill to win is the number of players in the game divided by 4, if there is a decimal the total will be rounded up.
Skill: Kidnap
CD: 30s
- The Penguin carries a player on his back and drags them to the Execution Area (where voted players die) to kill them. The body will disappear in the Execution Areas.
- Anyone can see that you're carrying a player in your back, so be careful if you're kidnapping someone.
- The player you are carrying can't talk.
- If you kidnap a player and someone calls a meeting or reports a body, the player you kidnapped will be silenced during the meeting and will be released after the meeting ends.
Example of Execution Areas:
• Mallard Manor - Lake outside the Mansion
• SS MotherGoose - Airlock in the Cargo Bay near the Storage
• GooseChapel - Wharf
• Ancient Sands - top of the Pyramid near to Forbidden Passageway
• Eagleton Springs - Bonfire in The Streets
New Goose Role: Radar.
🆘When you find a body, you can notify all living players, including ducks, about it with a sound and a characteristic animation. The ability can be activated 8 seconds after the body is found. This way you can call useful players, including the Detective and the Gravedigger. But beware, because bad players can come for you. The radar ends after 5 seconds.
Auditor Goose: Can choose a player, and in the next meeting, next to their target, they can see who they voted for during the last two meetings. Can’t audit the same player twice.
Duck King: You cannot be voted out, only killed.
Duck Revenge: If someone kills you, they die.
Role Name: Ostrich 𓅦
Faction: Neutral
Difficulty: ★ ★ ☆
Goal: The Ostrich instantly wins if it survives until the final 3 players or completes all its assigned fake tasks.
📋Fake Tasks:
- The Ostrich’s fake tasks scale with player count:
- If the lobby has 12–16 players, fake tasks = (players − 3).- If the lobby has 5-11 players, fake tasks = (players − 1).
(Example: In a 10-player game, Ostrich gets 9 fake tasks. In a 15-player game, Ostrich gets 12 fake tasks.)
- If the lobby has 5-11 players, fake tasks = (players − 1).
Skill: Sprint 💨
CD: 0s (can be activated or deactivated at any time).
ON: Movement speed is 2x normal speed.
OFF: Ostrich moves at normal speed
(❕Note: Ostrich can't vote Skip in meetings.)
a new peaceful role for a journalist: he knows the ducks are alive and has neutral roles by simply pressing a button like a medium
the role is peaceful: gambling, it's only available at the carnival, and you can spin the wheel from anywhere. The wheel costs 3 tickets instead of 4, and you can't get the bomb.
The Returner: a peaceful role. During a diversion, anyone who tries to kill him will die themselves
Role: Eagle
Neutral role
Objective: Kill atleast 4 targets to win. You have to complete 3 tasks to give yourself a target and you must kill that target. You cant kill anybody other than your target.
ok this idea probably sucks
Altruistic(Goose):
Completing a certain amount of tasks gives you the ability to revive whoever you want, but if you revive that person you die in their place. Completing a certain amount of tasks gives you the ability to revive whoever you want, but if you revive that person you die in their place.
5-8 players:6 Tasks
9-12 players:5 tasks
13-15 players:4 tasks
16 players:3 tasks
Role: Dunnock 𓅫
Class: Neutral
Difficulty: ★ ★ ★
End Goal: Manipulate the flock by marking players with fake tasks and getting them voted out. Use the Hedge Sparrow minion strategically if more than 12 players are alive.
📋 Abilities:
• Mark & Silence: Assign a fake task to a player. If they do it:
• They are marked for 15 seconds when the meeting starts (cannot speak or type in meetings).
• You must try to get them voted out to progress toward victory.
• Hedge Sparrow (Optional, >12 players):
• Summon 1 minion with Duck/Neutral/Goose killing abilities.
• Minion dies if Dunnock dies; can only be used once per game.
📋 Limitations:
• Marked players’ eyes are black on the map (not visible in meetings).
• Ability goes on cooldown if marked player survives the meeting.
• Must carefully track votes and minion usage.
Flavor: The Dunnock lurks in shadows, quietly manipulating others. Its Hedge Sparrow minion adds indirect chaos, rewarding strategic thinking.
Role: Juggernaut
Goose role
Juggernaut receives more tasks than normal geese, however after completing all of them the juggernaut becomes invincible, that means he cant be killed or eaten
insert title card
Role: Speedster
Goose role
Speedster can toggle 2x speed on or off
Drawback: ~~ducks ~~ killers birds around it get faster too
Point: to go to other tasks faster
Role: Puppeteer
Faction: Duck
Difficulty: ★ ★ ★
Goal: Manipulate the votes of others, eliminate players, and help Ducks achieve their win condition.
📋 Abilities:
• Force Vote: Choose a player to vote for someone specific during a meeting.
• Text appears for all: “The Puppeteer has chosen their doll…”
• Works with Blind Ducks on or off, allowing you to see vote intentions and influence ties.
• Kill & Sabotage: Standard Duck abilities remain active.
• Task Requirement: Ability activates only after completing a set number of tasks (scaled to total tasks in the game).
📋 Limitations:
• Forcing votes reveals influence, potentially drawing attention.
• Misusing the ability may backfire if votes are unpredictable.
• High-level strategy role; timing and observation are key.
Flavor: Once a celestial manipulator, the Puppeteer bends the flock’s will like a master controlling dolls, weaving chaos and strategy into each vote.
well are there any other drawbacks
Drawbacks: The amount of uses are 1-2 (scaling on the lobby), the kill cooldown will guarantee to be longer than the normal ducks, the ability of force voting can only be used once per meeting, and a certain amount of tasks are needed for it to happen
#📌︱idea-channels-guidelines
Remember these are idea channels! A space for ideas
Please don't try to moderate the channel or reject others ideas. Build upon them
sorry, i didnt mean to imply that i was tryna moderate or reject ideas
(available when pelican and vulture is not in the game) Flamingo!
- you have an ability to take off your goose mask so you can see your flamingo color
- your flamingo color starts as white and to win it needs to be pink
- to get it to be pink you need to eat carcasses
- once youre in the final three, you can break out (rip) your goose costume and then eat people
- even if youre the last one standing you dont win since youre not fully pink
what i mean by goose mask is that in the trailer, the
s put on goose masks to look like geese, when theyre actually killers
I have a Neutral Role idea called Hawk. I know there is also a hawk role in the game but I don't know any birds that can match the personality of this neutral concept, Hawk is a fierce bird of prey known for targeting weaker animals (Geese), but wary of other predators (Ducks and other Neutral).
Role Name: Hawk
Difficulty: ★ ★ ★
~ If Hawk is still alive, the Ducks can only win by sabotage.
~ Hawk can only be in the game if neither the Pelican nor the Falcon are.
Goal: Win if all the Geese are eliminated and Hawk is still alive in the game or wins if Hawk kills enough Geese in the game.
-The amount of Geese the Hawk needs to kill to win is the number of players in the game divided by 3, if there is a decimal the total will be rounded up.
Skills:
Kill:
~ Hawk can kill, but if Hawk kills a
Duck or other Neutral, the Hawk also die.
Talon Strike:
~ This skill is like an Assassin [Duck]. Twice
per game, Hawk can kill during a meeting
by correctly guessing a Goose or die
trying.
Have a goose role idea:
- it cannot be killed alone (when there is no other voice chat in vicinity), prompting the killer to kill them in groups
- pelican can still eat it no matter what and bomb can kill them
And I also have a duck idea:
Spree duck
- in the maps ninja isnt
- only able to kill people in flocks
- this takes care of geese that always stay together, prompting the geese to go alone and afraid, exactly like the demolitionist's purpose
Owl (Neutral)
Difficulty: ⭐⭐
The Owl gains 1 feather for every 2 tasks completed (maximum of 3 feathers).
The Owl can give a feather to a Goose or a Duck, with a (long) cooldown before the next feather can be given.
Win condition: When all players who have received a feather are dead, the Owl wins.
Drawback is the long cooldown and that you have to do tasks For feathers
this seems like a good idea
I know right
I hope this will be added would be soooo fun
It doesnt suck sounds good
The small explination would be:
Get feathers by doing tasks, give them 3 players if these 3 players die you win
3 players could be the default win conditions, but it should be configurable in the lobby settings
True
Cause if theres only 5 playerd
It should be like ducks more players = more feathers
Role name: Turkey 🦃
Line: “The later you live, the tastier you get.”
Difficulty: ★★☆
- Turkey can only be in the game if neither the Pelican nor the Dodo Bird are.
Goal: Turkey needs to survive until half of the players are dead to unlock his winning condition.
Win Condition: Turkey will win if it gets killed (not voted out).
Passive:
- Once half of the players are dead, all players will be notified that the Turkey is still alive, and an arrow will appear to the Turkey pointing to the nearest Duck.
Pop-Up Notification:
⚠️ Gobble Gobble!
“The Turkey is still alive… beware the feast!”
my other acc got banned from sending this, so i use this acc :/ (because im editing it to much)
Role Name: Chicken🐔
Faction: Neutral
Difficulty: ★☆☆
Line: " Lay [Number] eggs"
•If the chicken role is turned on, the pelican role cannot be turned on.
•chickens must lay a specified number of eggs to win
•if the chicken lays an egg, the geese and ducks can see an animation of the chicken laying an egg, So the chicken has to hide when it wants to lay eggs. [animation of a chicken laying eggs lasts for 3/5 seconds]
•If the chicken has laid the specified number of eggs, there will be a countdown.[40 second]
•Geese and ducks can destroy the eggs that the chicken has laid using a hammer, just like the infection sabotage mission in Eagletown, the difference is that the infection is replaced by chicken eggs.
•chickens can be on all maps.
•20/25 skill cooldowns for laying chicken eggs.
•the position of the egg will remain the same where the chicken laid the egg.
•All the eggs that the chicken lays must be destroyed if the goose and duck don't want to lose.
5-8 players=6 eggs
9-12 players=5 eggs
13-16 players=4 eggs
new role.
utak: Puppeteer.
controls the player and kills him with the wings of another player.
i got a role idea but it tenically involves and countrys past but its what they where really good at so i dont know if i should say it or not
If you have to question it probably best to error on the side of caution. Please remember #rules
this is a 🔥 (too bad they dont have a soul fire emoji), but wouldnt this be too OP
trying my best
this would be a
corruption role
it's balanced because Turkey needs to survive until half of the players are dead to unlock his winning condition.
Name: Peacock
Role Type: Duck
⭐ ⭐ ⬛
-# "No one can whistand the charm!"
Descriptio:
Can force a Goose's vote
Explination:
The Peacock is a Duck with an extra button, allowing them to charm a Goose. When a Goose is charmed, they will not be notified. Only one Goose can be charmed at a time. Charming another Goose will Uncharm the first one
When a meeting is called, the Peacock will see a Peacock Charm Symbol on the Goose they charmed. The charmed Goose will be able to see the charm only after voting time begins
During voting time, the Peacock will basically have two votes. The first will be their own, then the second will be the charmed Goose's one
Example:
Lime is Peacock
Lime uses their ability on Yellow
A meeting is called
Lime sees Yellow has the Charm Symbol
Yellow doesn't see the Symbol
Voting time starts
Yellow sees they can't vote because of the Peacock
Lime uses their vote to vote Violet
Lime uses Yellow's vote to also vote Violet
a good turkey would survive prolly to top 5-4 so i think it'd be better for top 3
🔥
:3
Crane
type neautral
buddy can see everybody on the minimap and their names n colors because its tall
it can bite people in half with its big beek (ranged) and everytime it does that it gets more full until it overfeeds and explodes. To win it has to complete all its tasks and if it explodes thats extra food for la vulture
Role Name: Owl 🦉
Line: "Someone is always watching"👁️👁️
Difficulty: ★ ★ ☆
- Owl can only be in the game if neither the Pelican nor the Falcon are.
- If the 0wl is still alive, the Geese can only win by tasks and Ducks can only win by sabotages.
Goal: The Owl wins if it collects the required Witness Points and survives the "∅wl Hunt"
Total of Witness Points
:
- Total of the player in the lobby + 4
(Example: 5 players → needs 9 Win3ss Points)
How Owl Gain Witness Point
:
- W1tness a player completing a task → +1
- Discover a dead body → +1
- Someone reports a dead body → +1
- W1tness a murder → +2 (murder act) + +1 (body) = +3
∅wl Hunt:
- Once the 0wl reaches the required W1tness Points, the countdown begins
- The 0wl must survive for 60 seconds to win.
Hoot and Seek?
super sayain speedsters in-game with 10 sec cooldown
I've got some ideas for roles and hope that they are new ones... 🙂
Shotgun Duck
This duck can kill more than one birds.
Pressing SHIFT to "draw the shotgun"
Then there is shown an target-arc (only the duck(s) can see it.
Everyone inside this area will be killed after hitting the SPACE key.
Maybe it's a good idea that everyone can hear the shotgun sound.
Killing cooldown could be like NINJA-duck.
Hypochondriac (Duck)
This duck can simulate a corpse.
If a Goose will report the corpse, then hit SPACE to kill the Goose and become "back to life"
If this role is listed, the geese should be better two geese before touching a dead Body,
because the Simulator can only kill one Goose at a time so the second Goose is a good witness for the kill.
The Simulator can also kill normal like other ducks, but the cooldown timer is the same for killing as a corpse.
So if the cooldown isn't over, the simulated corpse also can't kill.
Trapper-duck
This duck can drop traps in places with tasks. If a Goose OR OTHER DUCK/NEUTRAL enters the Task, he dies.
The duck can't kill in a normal way until the pelican or falcon "hunt" Begins. Then he can kill like a normal duck.
Suicide Bomber (duck)
Hitting SHIFT, he explodes after 10 seconds.
Everybody in a red circle around this duck (only he can see it)
will be die with him. Only works once, like in real life... 😄
Surveillance Specialist (Goose)
(Maybe too difficult to implement in game.)
This Goose can place one videocam in any room to surveillance this room.
Doing normal jobs, he can always take a look on the cam-sreen (SHIFT-key)
Placing a new cam (after cooldown) deletes the old one.
Stewardess (Goose)
Simply gets twice Points for Flight pass (? Maybe only if survives)
Weapon dealer (Goose)
Can give one times in a game a weapon to any other bird for killing one times.
Can't use weapon itself.
Bird hunter (Goose)
Can place Food as a bait. Looks like normal corpse. The Vulture will route to it like it's a dead Body to eat. Also the Raven.
This corpse can't be reported. If eaten or tried to report the bird gets red pox for 15 seconds.
Doctor Goose
Can detect infected Birds by pigeon like the detective. Can check them more times at a turn.
This way he can find the pigeon as patient zero, but only if the pigeon has infected somebody 5 seconds before.
Plumper Goose
The Plumper can clean up the vents. Doing this, he kills all birds in the same vent-system and flushes them out.
The Plumper Goose will be shown as "random picked role" in draft mode. So nobody knows a plumber is in the geese team.
Maybe there is something interesting in it that can be realized with not much work. 🙂 And thanks for the great game!
@lost sun these r all 🔥 where did you come up for the idea of these
Yes let's please be respectful of our fellow avians of all regions
Main role:
Name: trapper
Role: duck
Difficulty: 2-3 stars
This role can not directly kill someone the only way it kills is setting traps at task points including sabotaged points (optional: traps can even be set at the table someone would just randomly die once the bell is wrong)
Required role:
Name: detector
Role: goose
If the trapper role is chosen this role has a 100% chance being picked its the only thing that can spot the traps and disarm them
My idea for a Goose role:
Role Name: Observer 🔭
Faction: Goose
Difficulty: ★ ★ ☆
Goal: Win with the Geese by completing tasks or catching the Ducks.
⸻
📋 Ability: Surveillance
• The Observer can place 3–4 cameras around the map.
• Cameras become available after finishing tasks (scales with task count).
• Once cameras are placed, the Observer can open a tablet to view them.
⸻
⚙️ Limits & Drawbacks:
• The tablet has limited uses:
• Every 2–3 tasks completed = +1 tablet use.
• Once all charges are gone, the tablet breaks and the Observer becomes a normal Goose.
• Ducks and killing Neutrals (example: Falcon) can destroy cameras they find.
• If all cameras are destroyed, the Observer’s tablet also breaks.
• The Observer cannot place more cameras once their initial 3–4 are placed unless more tasks are done.
⸻
🔍 Strengths:
• Can catch killers in the act if a murder happens near a camera.
• Other Geese see where cameras are (green or yellow highlight), encouraging teamwork.
• Adds a layer of map control and info-gathering for the Geese.
⸻
This version keeps the Observer strong but fragile — useful if used wisely, but dead weight if careless
Name: Targeter
Role: Goose
⭐ ⭐ ⬛
Description:
Has to kill once in three rounds. Otherwise dies
Explanation:
The targeter works in a pretty peculiar way. The way their role works, they HAVE to kill someone in 3 round timestamps. When the game begins is the first round, after the first meeting is the second, and after the second is the third. By this point, if the Targeter hasn't killed anyone yet, and another meeting is called, then they die. If they did kill someone, then after the third meeting, the rounds go in amounts of 3, and it's basically the same thing all over again. Can kill Geese, Ducks and Neutrals
Name: Eraser
Role: Duck
⭐⭐⭐
Description: can erase the role of others but can't vent
Explanation: twice per round, they can mark someone, after the next meeting is called, that person will lose their role and become a regular goose
Can't erase ducks or neutrals
*note: they can mark neutrals but it wont take effect
Jay (Neutral)
The Jay is assigned two random roles at the beginning of any round that is in the game. Their goal is to successfully determine the individuals with those roles and swap them before another team wins to claim victory.
Once per round, they can mark two individuals. At the meeting called at the end of the round, the roles of the two individuals will be switched, regardless of team. The Jay will have no information regarding the two swapped roles, nor will the players have information regarding the other individual they swapped with or the Jay. Thus, it is up to the Jay to determine using in-game hints, like an Assassin may, the two players that possess the roles they must swap.
Note that they only win after a meeting is called, so marking the two correct players and the game ending beforehand will not count as a victory.
Note that the Jay may not swap themselves with another individual, and will never receive Jay as a target.
It is also meant to cause chaos :DDD
Puppeteer (duck
) ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
in game description
You may body swap with the first person you killed. Your task are fake.
deeper analysis
The puppeteer has a severe kill cd increase on their first kill, when they kill someone, the player itself will die, but the duck will stay alive stading in place, the puppeteer will get the kill button of a normal duck now. This will unlock puppeteer's gimmick, in 7 seconds the puppeteer can swap bodies with the person dead and control they instead, they are able to kill as the dead person normaly, and are able to get back to their original body in 7 seconds if they so choose.
why do i think they are a good role?
The puppeteer is meant to be the third piece of the body swap club, containing identity thief
and morphling
. They are meant to be a complement, not being better nor worse than either of they. Also struggling and taking advantage of big groups of people. I will admit it struggle might be too similar to identity thief's, but, to me, it's has different draw backs and advantages (bigger kill cd and being able to get a alibi while killing someone).
Role Name: Flamingo 🦩
Faction: Neutral
Line: “Don’t mind me, I’m too fabulous to die.”
Difficulty: ★☆☆
Goal:
- The Flamingo must survive until the end of the game to win with whichever side (Geese, Ducks, or any Neutral) wins.
Standout:
- In meetings, the Flamingo has two votes instead of one.
- The Flamingo cannot vote to skip.
Notes:
- If a Duck kills the Flamingo, that Duck gains an extra vote in all meetings.
- If the Flamingo is voted out, the first Goose who voted for Flamingo gains an extra vote in all meetings.
Berserker (neutral): You have to kill everyone quickly! After three rounds, you die of widowhood! The more you kill the player, the more speed you move and the less kill time you kill. The body you kill is automatically reported when you get close to it, not visible to others. However, the vote is always random.
difficulty:🌕🌕🌕
line:kill them all....
ability:kill the player move speed +5%,kill cooldown -1.5s(maximun 10s),your vote is random,yours body cant see the others and your body dictacted nearby alive pleayer the player will be auto reported
add a role call pelican killer were if ate will kill the pelican
Archer (duck): far range killer like sniper that fires a projectile wherever the duck clicks. Upside, you can kill from a great distance. But downside is if you miss you are cooked
Shield (goose): can activate their shield for 10 seconds with a 10 second cooldown, if you get attacked while having a shield the shield is destroyed for the rest of the game, but you survive the attack. Every non-attack type interaction like investigating, silencing, miming infecting, eating etc. is also repelled while the shield is active, but the shield wont break so you won't know they tried either.
Copycat (goose): you can copy other geese's abilities. 10-second cooldown for the copy and another 20-second cooldown to use the copied ability. You don't know the ability you've copied until you use the ability. If the ability can't be used while you activate it, it becomes a misfire and you have to copy a new ability. Every duck's copied ability will be a simple kill, so not their secondary ability if they have one. You can only copy somebody once. If a meeting is called the copied ability stays active, but the cooldown to use it will be back to 20 seconds. If a goose has an ability that cant be copied (raven, lover, bg, dodo etc.) a message will pop up saying 'This ability can't be copied!' and your copy cooldown will be back to 10 seconds.
@opaque sigil
The Gaggle Team will deliberate over the suggestion, but likely chances are it does not align with our Designing Roles for Classic/Draft Living Document.
Feel free to give it a read, if you want some insight into the roles that would be more likely to approve of. This doesn't mean that your suggestion can't be inspiring and built upon, with this document in mind, keep at it! We love to see your ideas and concepts.
Detective (goose): you can check other geese's interactions. You get a list of the (max 3) geese that have been near this goose last in no particular order. The tracks are erased after every meeting and the cooldown is 20 seconds. Dead geese don't count, but geese that died after the meeting do count. Swallowed geese also count as meetings if you met the pelican that ate them, but if theres 3 or more bodies in the pelican you wont find anything. An invisible duck wont leave any traces of their presence even if they were nearby recently, and a morphed duck will show up as the goose they morphed into while near the target not as themselves.
Ally (goose): you can ally with another goose a maximum of 3 times with a 20 second cooldown. If allied with a goose the goose receives a message: '-- just became your ally!' with -- being your player name. You can see an allies location on the mini-map and you get a notification if one of your allies dies. If you try to ally with a killing role you die immediately and your body becomes invisible and auto-reports at the next goose that comes near your body. If all your allies are dead you get a 30 second timer to find a new ally otherwise you die the same way, this timer only activates after you made your first ally and resets to 30 once a meeting is called. If all 3 of your allies are dead you simply die after the 30 seconds with no escape, and if a meeting is called before it runs out you die immediately. If you ally with a lover you also automatically ally with their lover which if evil would instantly kill you like described earlier, this extra ally does not cost you an extra attempt in case you survive so a rare situation with 4 allies could become possible. You can ally with ravens dodos and pigeons, but the same rules apply to them so you might catch yourself protecting a bad role in order to stay alive. Making allies early game would be an easy way to clear somebody but due to the timer and the severe consequences of choosing an evil ally this is discouraged and it becomes more of a mid-late game role.
@opaque sigil thanks for your ideas/suggestions ideas can spark ideas! I recommend taking a moment to read #📌︱idea-channels-guidelines and the role design doc to get some insight behind some of our design philosophy including thoughts about items such as immunity, visible role reveals such as speed boosts, etc. Your revenger role message is getting blocked by the bot because of repeated text (why we recommend 2 short sentences).
Tracker
Goose
The tracker can find the location of where the body is, however it only appears after 15s
basically after 15s of a body's existence an arrow appears that brings you to the body
and maybe it blocks medium cuz its just an "upgraded" medium
New Goose Role: Officer
The officer can send people to jail (In other words, a reverse locksmith.)
All they can do is walk up to some goose, duck, or neutral role, press a button, and send them to jail.
The cooldown is 15s-30s-45s-60s-75s based on the lobby settings
The role only appears if a map has a jail, examples are SS Mothergoose and Goosechapel
Dumb (goose)
You can't do any task, but if you are going to be expelled, you resist and everyone knows your role now
Janitor (goose)
You can wet the floor every 25s, making gooses slice, but ducks doesn't slice (it can be useful to discover a distracted duck) the water dure 20s
Gramma (goose):
You can give a cookie to a player (once for run), giving he/she two extra vote for the next voting time (you could give it to a duck if you are not careful)
YK WHAT GOES GOOD WITH TURKEY? GRAVY
Role: Seer (Goose)
The Seer is part of the Goose team. They can only use their ability twice per game. In the early meetings the Seer has no power and acts like a normal Goose. After a few meetings their ability unlocks, allowing them to check one player.
The Seer’s vision does not reveal the exact role. Instead, it shows percentage chances of the target being Goose, Duck, or Neutral.
For example:
“65% Goose, 25% Duck, 10% Neutral.”
Once the Seer has used both visions, they permanently become a regular Goose.
DUEL DODOS' DETECTION WITH INTERVAL AND/OR DISTANCE FROM ONE ANOTHER so they can possibly reach end game so there's room for a twist. otherwise, they will just kill each other onset
Tech professional: sends drones that can kill once before overheating and exploding and has 30 sec cooldown
Poison
Duck
Ability: Mischief
45sc cd
Able to go to any task and sabotage it so if a goose trys to complete it they will be poisoned and when the next meeting gets called they will die.
If task is not activated by next meeting the task will go back to normal.
The task will have a slight visual change so if the geese look at it hard enough they will know its poisoned
sure
who play with me
Paranoid (Goose)
He can kill once per round. The initial cooldown (at the start of a round) is 30 seconds, but if the Paranoid is alone (no other players in sight), the cooldown stops and resumes when the Paranoid spots another player.
Related achievements:
Paranoia (Win 75 times as the Paranoid)
Justified Fear (Kill 150 non-geese as the Paranoid)
I would love to see some kind of medic goose that can take about ten seconds or something to revive a corpse on the ground.
Role idea: vengeful spirit:
Role: Goose
Ability: upon dying whoever killed them will be "haunted" (what this does is, I have a few ideas, democracy decides Wich is best)
Being haunted will:
A: invert the killer's movement controls
B: decrease their fov by like half or ⅔
C: I haven't rlly come up with anything else, use ur own interpretation
Role idea: swapper
Role: neutral
The swapper can swap role with duck and goose if the swapper swap with a neutral it dead
The swapper can win as the swapper role it should swap because the swapper has a kill button who has the role dead it can play with no duck the swap and kill button is 20s
Swapper gamemode
all neutral have to have the role swapper and I duck the duck have to kill and try not to get swapped the game end when the 2 players left the swapper can swap with a swapper and not swapper kill button
Magician [Duck]
Teleport: Once you use your ability, you'll place a hat in your spot. Once you kill someone, the body will be teleported to the hat's location rather than what it's suppose to be
If you place the hat in cafeteria and you killed someone in engine room, the body will be in cafeteria rather than in engine room
The hat is only visible to the ducks and mimic
Killer(neutral)
The Killer has To kill ever round if he dosent he dies
Role:Thief
Neutral
Its like from feign, he can kill 1 per game , he will steal role from victim
Ok but what's the win condition as a neutral role
normally some neutral can win with duck and also with gooses, for me thief when he stole the role, it will be goosee or duck so then he will be like the normal
its just like in feign
According to the main rules of duck duck goose all neutrals only have solo victory's
Goos goose duck*
I don't make the rules man, it's simple, if a neutral wins, nobody else does
oh, probably mistaken game really with the feign 😄
but if they make the thief, and he kill someone he will be goouse or duck, so lets just say he is temp neutral
Dodo bird adjust: (nuteral)
like to tp to a body or to have a button for the body to tp to you cooldown 50 seconds on each one and have an arror pointing to dead bodies
I have a idea alien !
they have a drone :3
I know it but the alien is a neutral and different
how to make it its own species of bird tho?
i love this pun its just perfect =w=
Juggler (Duck)
During the round, he placing balls on other players.
During the voting, he can kill players at whom he placed balls, if he guesses the role (all players will see the hit/miss).
Janitor (Duck)
You can't kill, but can clear corpses for 10 seconds, after which they cannot be seen and reported.
If all other ducks are dead, you will get opportunity to kill.
Seer (Goose)
Each time you complete enough tasks, you get the opportunity to tag one player and see their role during the meeting.
Ducks and neutrals will see that you are a Seer if you reveal their role.
Bipolar (Goose/Duck)
You will automatically switch from goose to duck and back from time to time.
Completing tasks extends the goose timer, while sabotage and kills extend the duck timer.
Possible balance:
In duck mode, you won't see ducks, but ducks will see you;
Ducks will have the ability to kill you regardless of whether you are goose or duck;
The victory conditions depend on which side you are on at the moment: geese or ducks;
You are not one of ducks and do not influence a victory conditions by their superiority.
The hunter:
Once he finds a ded body he will gain the ability inspect a person and see where he is on the mini map the whole game he only has 3 of those uses so he can see 3 people on the mini map
The guardian:
Has the ability to place a shield onto a person one an impostor,goose,neutrals try to kill him or do eny spells on the every body would hear the shield breaking after the shield breaks and if the crewmat3 dies the impostors goose and neutrals would know that he's the guarding which could clear him but could also make him an target for the ducks
The lighter:
Can light up areas every 25 secs for 10 secs also he can flash bang people for 5 to 7 secs also he's a neutral bc if he flash bangs the impostor 3 times he wins he can also go invisible every 30 secs for 10 secs
Also if there are 2 or 3 ducks donate matter he still has the flash bang ALL OF THEM 3 times separately
Eagle (neutral)
Wins, being the last survivor. You can kill any number of players at once, but with double kill cooldown and more players are killed at once, the longer the cooldown will be.
The Eagle can also temporarily double its vision, limited by Birdwatcher's view through walls.
S
Tragic (Duck)
You give other players a low pitched voice during meetings. Repeated usage will kill them during voting.
p
Vengeful Spirit (neutral)
10 seconds after you die, you will be able to kill for 10 seconds in astral mode.
P.S This role is given to a randomly died player, after end of action, the player becomes a normal ghost.
If body is destroyed, Vengeful Spirit will disappear.
my lobby already dont do tasks
Policeman (goose)
You can temporarily determine the approximate location from which the murder, bombing, or eating was committed. You can also vent/hide.
Dealer (duck)
You can force players to gambling for elimination.
How it works: The Dealer marks 2 players, and then at any convenient time, the players must now play a game of chance where the losing player dies.
Role:
Parrot
Faction:
neutral
Ability:
mock a player's ability
Positive effect of the ability:
use the mocked player's ability for the rest of the game
Negative effect of the ability:
if the mocked player is a goose/Canadian or any roles with no ability button, they will suicide
Objective:
Survive until a faction wins and steal the faction's victory
Role:
Hardworker
Faction:
goose
Ability:
None
Effect:
When dead can do tasks
Positive effect:
Can do tasks when dead
Negative effects:
2-3 tasks done by dead hardworker= 1 tasks done by alive goose roles
For me, ability=has a button to manually activate(sheriff kills, vigilante kill) , effect= doesn't have a button and activates automatically(Canadian makes the murderer automatically report, lights out and vision becomes smaller)
Terrorist (duck)
You plant bombs in buildings that will be destroyed if players don't prevent it in time.
Each successful detonation will reduce kill cooldown.
The role should only be available on maps with buildings (such as "Eagleton Springs", "The Carnival", "Godzilla", etc.)
Karate Fighter (goose)
You can avoid being killed or eaten if you have time to react.
How it works: during the kill animation, a reaction game will appear and you will need to successfully complete it within 1 second.
Role:
Swan
Faction:
Neutral
Ability:
hide/vent
kill after every neutral died
Info of how to win and the kill ability:
the swan is a special role that needs all other neutral to die and the swan will transform into the murderous swan, the murderous swan needs to kill everyone in 50 sec or above(1 alive player will add 2 sec) , all the vents will blocked for duck and goose.
Role:
Penguin
Faction:
Neutral
Ability:
slide
Info:
The penguin can make a trail of ice when using slide, the trail of ice can mix the control of every other type of bird, when the penguin is sliding and it hits someone that person will have a 50% chance of dying or mix the controls.
Goal to win:
Be one of the last 2 standing and win without a timer popping up.
Guardian (goose)
You can protect a player from being kicked out on meeting once per game.
Body Exchanger (duck)
You can temporarily swap players with bodies.
Illusionist (duck)
You make temporary fake NPCs of players during the round. If an NPC is dead, you will know right away.
Joker (duck)
You can temporarily drive the player insane.
How it works: The Joker marks the player. Once activated, the tagged player sees like an astral for a few seconds and loses control of the controls - they are now randomized. If a player can kill, they will automatically kill any player they cross paths with.
Phoenix (neutral)
You win, being the last survivor. Pour resin on other players, then burn them during meetings.
How it works: Hold the button for a few seconds to fill player with resin. The flooded players will be burned during the voting. When you flood all but two players, you will be able to burn everyone other outside meetings. When there are 3 players left, the countdown begins, the Phoenix turns into a phoenix and can burn players with minimal cooldown, burning takes a little time. The Phoenix also becomes invincible and twice as fast.
d
Phoenix (goose)
"Rising from the ashes"
If the Phoenix is voted out during a meeting - in the final round of a game when the ducks or neutral is certain to win (ie the countdown starts that says finish ur tasks or kill the ___) the Phoenix is REBORN! (must be a scenario where the neutral is the last one alive and can win or the ducks outnumber the geese and win)
the Phoenix has a gun and are tasked with killing the final duck/neutral in the game and bring the geese to victory. gun has no cooldown so if they spawn right next to the killer they can insta shoot BUT if they kill a goose the game ends immediately and the duck/neutral wins (so the Phoenix has to watch the rounds and figure out who is a duck/neutral and not kill their friends)
if the neutral/duck completes their tasks before the Phoenix can kill them - the game ends (the pelican eats everybody). if the duck/neutral kills the phoenix the game ends immediately as well.
if the Phoenix gets killed during the game they cannot be reborn. they must be voted out.
dodo x vigi role😏
Role:
Good duck
Ability:
Vent, kill and sabotage
Effect:
Any goose uses their role on him will do what a goose does (example: when sheriff kills him the sheriff also dies, detective will check him as an angel when he kills)
Info for ability:
Just a normal duck with special effects nothing else
Role:
Mimic
Faction:
Duck/goose
If duck ability:
Mimic, kill and sabotage (no venting)
Duck ability info:
Mimic a players ability/effect(other ducks are not allowed to be mimiced)
If goose ability:
Mimic
Goose ability info:
Just like duck but it can mimic every role
+extra:
If they mimic a neutral they will become a goose if it's good and a duck if it's bad
Painter duck
Ability:
Paint kill
Effect:
can't sabotage
Paint:
Paint on a task every round to sabotage the task, sabotaged tasks which were done by the first player will decrease the player's vision for a meeting.
Name:
Finches
Faction:
Neutral
Ability:
Quiet
Effect:
Ability has no cool down but can only use 3 time
Info for ability:
Quiet can skip meetings and mute all the players until a meeting is called or a body was reported.
Win condition stand until the last three (win immediately without win timer)
That's a cool one
Sapper (goose)
You can defuse players from bombs.
How it works: When you activate the ability, you stop accepting bombs, and when you approach the bombed player, you automatically defuse them. To balance this, you could increase the ability's cooldown, ability have 5 seconds duration, and make it impossible to defuse yourself.
Rewinder (goose)
You can temporary rewind time
How work: Rewinds time 10 seconds back. During this time, the following may occur:
A player killed during rewind period will be revived.
Players who used abilities will be able to use them again after the rewind ends.
Starting/fixing a Sabotage will be canceled. A new Sabotage can be started immediately.
The absorbed player will be removed from the Pelican and can be absorbed again after the rewind ends.
And etc.
This ability has a 60-second cooldown (paused during meetings).
Jester (duck)
If fake a task and undo for gees
Effect
If vote Out cant sabetage
Conductor (duck)
You can start a rhythm game during meetings.
How it works: First, you need to play a musical instrument by successfully completing a task (like playing the piano at Mallard Manor). Then, during a voting, ALL players will need to play the same melody. Any non-ducks who fail to complete minigame will die.
The Golden Goose/Duck
If enough tasks are completed has ability to lay egg somewhere on map so if killed or voted out the can be revived
Role idea: Physic (Duck)
The Physic role is a Duck role that has the ability to sense nearby crewmates every 20s.
Counter: The Physic ability does NOT reveal geese with Neutral roles or GWG roles
Definitely probably already said but role idea: someone that could revive someone but at the cost of there life
Poltergoose
Can read chat of dead players when alive. Also can still cast a vote when dead
Think the first part seems a little op
Poisoner (duck)
A role that poisons players, that is, kills them a short time after using the ability. A few seconds before death, the player will begin to experience hallucinations.
Vulture: (neutral)
You are notified when someone dies; if you correctly identify the reported killer, you can kill 1 person outside of the meeting.
Shinigami (Duck)
He sees ghosts of his victims and can temporarily control and kill with his.
How work: While controlling a ghost, he transforms into Shinigami and works like a Mime, but with ghost and passes through walls. To control the ghost, you need to put a mark.
As secondary features: it can temporarily see all ghosts and mark it. See date players died from Esper or bomb.
but there aren't always ghosts, since there's a spectate mode
Then make that role available only if the spectator mode is enabled
Phoenix
Role Type: Neutral (Bird)
Goal: Die once, revive, and survive until the final 4 players or eliminate everone else
Phoenix has two lives. When killed, it burns to ashes, disappears for 10 seconds, and then revives at a random location. The killer doesn’t know Phoenix has returned.
After revival, Phoenix can perform one kill per game.
If no Ducks remain alive, Phoenix becomes a true killer and can continue killing freely until it wins or dies again.
Howdy Idk if this is considered a bug or a suggestion. But I played a bunch recently. And when I get lovers and all thats left is Lovers and Raven. Raven beets Lover Victory. I think Lovers should beat Raven victory.
Screech Owl
Type: Neutral (Bird)
Goal: Kill players after your own death.
After dying, your spirit flies around.
Stay near a lone player for 5 seconds = they die, their corpse is black,you cant Report it and their screen shows static while Screech owl is near them.
Win condition: Kill the required number of players depending on how many are alive.
Name: haunter
What does it do:If die, you can kill one person that you choose (maybe you can't kill the one who killed you)
How to win: same as the gooses
I think it would be funny for a duck to act like the party/silencer, but whatever their target says or types gets auto translated into random languages for everyone else
Like a duck equivalent of the Duolingo Owl
lol
i mean.. it is kind of funny but i dont think we should game-ify accessibility options
Yeah probably lol
Wait, what happens when someone is partied and has their voice auto translated?
Voice isn't translated, it can be transcribed into a text message using Speech to Text
Text Chat has live translations #announcements
I see. One or the other
3 roles
-
jeremy
duck
can turn 2 geese into "mother" and "father" -
mother
goose
can kill 1 bird if its a duck seh dies too cus its jeremy's friend -
father
goose
engineer without the "sabotage map"
death note?
Owl [neutral killer]
Owl's kill cooldown is slightly longer. They can vent(or hide inside closet if there's no vents like mallord mansion)
If an owl is hiding, their kill will refresh faster and they can kill anyone that is hiding with them and throw their bodies outside the hiding place.
They cannot kill anyone outside of hiding
Occupation: Immortal
Ducks or geese possessing lethal tools cannot be defeated by this Immortal through kill skills or voting. However, they can be killed by a Doctor's healing skill.
Occupation: Doctor
Can revive corpses killed by healing skills and can kill Immortals.
The Gaggle Team will deliberate over the suggestion, but likely chances are it does not align with our Designing Roles for Classic/Draft Living Document.
Feel free to give it a read, if you want some insight into the roles that would be more likely to approve of. This doesn't mean that your suggestion can't be inspiring and built upon, with this document in mind, keep at it! We love to see your ideas and concepts.
Vulture: (neutral)
You are notified when someone dies; if you correctly identify the reported killer, you can kill 1 person outside of the meeting.
Giant auk: (goose)
1: avidar to smooth out the ice
2: can give them the shield to be Immortals until giant auk dies
3: you have three to give the shield your tasks are fake
eagle of Haast: (neutral)
1: you can transform Haast's eagle and it's going to take 30 minutes to charge
2: when you transform you can fly across the map you have to catch three players and you win the game
3: But the bad thing that sniper duck is going to end it easy when he's going to shoot away your tasks are false
I'm sorry but you won't let me in For internet collection 🙁
That's ok, its a design guide that explains some things we think about coming up with role ideas and things we tend to avoid for various reasons
Such as shields/kill prevention and visually confirming roles
Don't tell me you're the creator of this game...
Hello, yes I am one of the devs
We love seeing fan art #🎨︱fan-art if you would like to share your creation here
Just wait for 30 minutes and I'll show you the new extinct animal role 👍
Ok👍
I believe you read my message from yesterday: #💬︱general message
While ideas may be concepted, maybe they didn't quite play like we would like them to or they didn't really feel fun and require some more adjustments, maybe it just wasn't their time yet, maybe other updates have a priority over new roles. A lot of thought goes into roles and updates as well as how updates are portrayed to make sure they both appealing to existing players as well as new players. There are a couple more roles we have concepted but haven't hinted at yet (whoops ).```
Thanks for the idea and suggestions but we have our ideas covered
Parrot (Neutral)
This role wins if it copy and then uses a certain number of roles. Standard kill and venting, Celebrity, Canadian and Gravy, and neutrals like dodo or pigeon abilities do not count.
Bartender (Duck)
The bartender makes poison drinks by activating the drink (spacebar like when you kill) and the drink takes an amount of seconds to make. To kill, the bartender has to finish making the drink and then hand the drink over to a goose, once the goose does another task they have to do something in order not to get killed by the poison if they don’t they die
So basically the bartender hands them a drink and if they don’t complete the bartender task in time or incorrectly they die
Trick or Treat role Wild Turkey:
• Kill villagers and camouflage from thralls and monsters in order to become the last survivor standing until the time runs out. You can only skip during meetings and you can't kill thralls and monsters.
• Instead of the game saying hunt the last villager it would say hunt the Wild turkey. The wild turkey can gain more speed when they're the last survivor remaining. The villagers can save the wild turkey from thralls but the wild turkey can't save villagers from thralls. The turkey only loses if they get voted out by the villagers, gets killed by thralls and monsters and when the timer runs out with survivors remaining.
• This role can have its own victory instead of villages and monsters. Difficulty ⭐⭐
# ACHIEVEMENTS
• Gone Wild
Win 100 times as a Wild Turkey in Trick or Treat.
• A Wild Thanksgiving Feast
Kill the Wild Turkey as a monster when they're the last one remaining before the thralls do.
By camouflage u mean like the survivalist? sounds challenging if it can't defend itself from the thralls
Yes that's what I meant by camouflage. The role is basically similar to what you said and similar to the falcon because it would have it's own netural role in trick or treat.
One message removed from a suspended account.
Revolutionary (Goose)
You reload your kill when you're in a crowd
Loner (Goose)
You reload your kill when you're alone
Mockingbird (Neutral) You exist soley to cause chaos. Once per round you can steal the ability of another player and use it as your own however any consequences they have will also apply to you that round, ex. you can sherriff fail. That player will be locked from their special ability for the rest of the round with a short delay in order to make it harder to be caught. At 3 players remaining a sacrificial bell is called and in order to win, you must get one of the other two voted off. If it is a tie or skipped you have a 1 in 3 to be voted off. Takes priority over other neutrals in draft when three remain and cannot be enabled at the same time as raven, falc, or peli in classic. Achievements- Red and Yellow Kill a Fellow- As the mockingbird, win without copying any goose abilities. Red and Black, Your Safe Jack- As the mockingbird, win without copying any duck or neutral abilities. Twisted Law- As the mockingbird, succesfully kill a duck or another neutral after stealing the sheriff ability. Overlord of Chaos- win 75 games in classic or draft as the mockingbird.
Role rework, Astral (goose) when projecting your spirit, you have a dual screen and can see both what is happening by your body, and what you can see as a spirit but you are still colorblind while doing this. Achievement ideas- 'Against all odds', As the Survivalist survive the countdown when two ducks are still alive. 'Never meant to be'- as duck lover, kill your own goose lover
i thought it would be cool to have a Alien role i think it would be cool
Photographer (Goose)
Version 1: You can take pictures during the round to view them later.
Version 2: You can take a picture to then provide evidence at the meeting.
Security Guard (Goose)
Can place cameras anywhere on the map to switch to it at any time. Cameras are available only to the Security Guard.
Inspector (Goose)
Version 1: You can check ventilation/hidden areas for players availability;
Version 2: You can check the ventilation/hidden areas and if the player/s is hiding in them, they will be extracted from vents.
I'd like to suggest the Phoenix (Neutral) role.
- Resurrects 10 seconds after death.
- If a vote is triggered before resurfacing, he dies completely.
- If he's killed a second time, no matter when, he wins.
This role could help curb players who mindlessly slam kills, plus they'll need to be more mindful of bodies, which will add to the paranoia.
increase the speed for raven please
RUH KONTROLCÜSÜ(katil): kazları uzaktan kontrol ederek diğer kazları vurabilir
Thank you for your suggestion. Have you tried out the MIme Role?
how about engineer role (duck role) he builds sentrys to kill the gooses and the gooses need to destroy the sentrys to not automatic loose
sorry i didn't know
No problem! There are so many roles, easy to miss!
Mage (Duck)
This role kills with magic. When activated, you create a magic ball that kills the nearest player at any distance.
Проклятый(cursed) (goose/duck)After killing him, he will join the duck team as an ordinary duck. I couldn't think of a name for the game. I apologize right away.
Achievement
Aww? Oh well..
(Win 5 games without becoming a duck)
Hurray! I was noticed
Win 5 games for the damned by becoming a duc
I'M NOT A MIMIC.
Being killed by a traitor 2 times per game
sparrow (neutral)
it can kill every 3rd voting but any player from any where
its kind of a pirate cus jack sparrow teh main character is from that pirate movie (i may be think i just heard that in my dream)
achivements:
arrrgh (win 50 games as sparrow)
oh shooooooot! (kill 50 players as sparrow)
captian (kill 10 ducks as sparrow) [gets eyepatch accesory]
kill is animation would be cool like you do it in voting and when the voting ends they get shot by a canon (somehow like when you get in prison) and their stomach has a hole or just make it look like it
Reaper(duck)
It can reap the player's soul
when a certain amount of souls gather, it can perform a separate kill unique to the reaper.
your tasks are fake and you can hide the vent for a maximum of 5 seconds.
Achievements:
first soul!(first time reap the soul)
Hey! are you all died?(reap 10 souls)
Soul investment (reap 100 souls)
bro. There are too many souls. (reap 1000souls)
Cartographer (Goose)
Short Description: Complete tasks so that you can temporarily use the mini-map and see the approximate movement of the players on it.
How work: This role cannot initially use the minimap, but as the tasks are completed, it opens it in parts (that is, when all the tasks are completed, the entire minimap becomes available). When a player opens a map, they temporarily see the movement of all players on the unlocked portion. It has a cooldown.
Penguin (Neutral)
Win as the last survivor. You can kill by freezing a person, who will become an unreportable block of ice if not unfrozen by a bird (pressing space or something) within 10 seconds. While they are still freezing, you can push the bird around to try and hide it.
Backstabber (neutral)
Start as an duck but once you witness a kill you can turn into a goose and get an extra vote in the next meeting
Acheivments:
I TRUSTED YOU:
Backstab 25 people
Triple agent:
Witness a kill but not backstab, then kill someone, then finally use backstab
I have a name reincarnator
So...mimic goose but it can kill as a duck before switching to the goose?
I'm confused on why it's "neutral", is it a goose or neutral killing role
These are idea channels, a space for ideas!
Feel free to build upon them #📌︱idea-channels-guidelines
Necromancer
Part of my new zombies gamemode, starts with 30 AI zombies that can be killed, the ability is how you raise the zombies summoning 5 zombies per use, summoning them in a Pentagon shape around you
Teacher (Duck)
You give other players a mathematical examples with a slight delay, and if they do not solve them in time, they will die. Each reuse on the same player will give more and more complex examples.
I have a duck or neutral idea based off the Thaye from Phasmophobia:
Ageling (Duck)
The Ageling is a duck opposite to the serial killer being more powerful early game. It has a very low kill cooldown and sabotage cooldown, but every meeting and kill adds more time (for example, starts with a 3 second kill cooldown and kills (+1s) then a body is reported (+3s). In Draft, this role could be random as to not have the duck at a disadvantage.
Zombie (Neutral) (i suck at names lol)
This would be a Neutral that would discourage calling meetings (unlike Ageling)
The Zombie wins with more meetings being called. For instance, in a 16 player lobby, the it would only need 8 meetings to win, maybe more. Though the Zombie itself does have a meeting button. As soon as the final meeting is called for the Zombie, it dies during the meeting and kills all players after the meeting. The Zombie will always die before winning, but you still win.
For both, short descriptions could be:
Zombie (Neutral): Get meetings called to win. Your tasks are fake.
Ageling (Duck): Lose momentum for every kill or meeting. Your tasks are fake.
I have an idea. The Parrot (Neutral Role) - He can temporarily take a player's role. It goes away after a certain amount of time or he uses that role's ability. (For example, sensor goose, he uses the sensor. For a duck, he kills someone. etc.) He wins after he imitates a certain number of players or is survivors a certain amount of time (whatever you think is best for balancing).
Adding on to that, I think that the parrot shouldn't be compatible with the raven, pelican, and pigeon.
Eagle Eyes (goose) You can always see who votes for who, even in colorblind or blind mode
Achievements- Eye spy- Successfully vote out the spy as Eagle eyes, Can't escape my eye- win 75 games as Eagle eyes
{1}
The Gaggle Team will deliberate over the suggestion, but likely chances are it does not align with our Designing Roles for Classic/Draft Living Document.
Feel free to give it a read, if you want some insight into the roles that would be more likely to approve of. This doesn't mean that your suggestion can't be inspiring and built upon, with this document in mind, keep at it! We love to see your ideas and concepts.
Gambling (Goose)
For each enough number of tickets, you will be able to spin the wheel of fortune, and you have a 50/50 chance to gain kill or be killed.
This role will receive tickets for each completed task and for killing other players who have completed the tasks.
Penguin (neutral) can freeze/making
them slower on a player by giving them frostbite to make them slower and eventually they die over time maybe like 10-15 seconds and if the meeting is called or someone report a geese during someone got frostbite then it will cancel the freezing since of the warmth of the meeting (because there’s everyone in the meeting and they will warm up them) if the penguin dies then all of the markings get reversed and the people who got marked with frostbite won’t die.
Flamingo (neutral), their objective to make everyone into cozy friends with their love ability and when they have marked everyone with their love then they have to get killed or get voted out to kill everyone who got love marked by the flamingo, the flamingo ability stays active even after someone calls meetings and when people report geese. So the flamingo role attracts other people with their love ability and when they try to die then everyone dies who had been love marked so this roll would kinda be like a dodo mixed with a lover.
Pterodactyl (duck) can teleport(by pressing where they want fly to, and when they press on that place then you land there you pressed) by teleporting wherever in the map and they can also land on people to kill them by landing(inside a small radius to kill the geese) on them so that the pterodactyl eats them which makes the body disappear.
Ostrich (duck) can stop time by running so fast that they will conceal their identity so that the goose can’t see who the duck is but every goose gets slower while the ostrich ability is on. Their objective is to kill everyone in disguise for instance the ostrich turn on their ability and goes to a crowd and kills one of them and they can’t see who killed but they can suspect people who weren’t in that room.
- Spy Buff
Being the only person to vote for someone reveals their role. You can see their role in meeting and in round.
- Sensor Nerf
You can temporarily reveal everyone's approximate position on the mini-map. If there are two or more players together it will only show one circle.
I would say that the sensor need a buff. I don’t like that it doesn’t show who is who, it just shows where people are which most of the times isn’t enough proof to catch the duck. The only case where they can find out the duck with sensor is to multiple people to team up together and state where everyone are and find out where the body is and ect. But most of these information won’t get surfaced in some lobbies in Goose Goose Duck unfortunately, so that’s why we need a buff for the sensor.
agreed
By design, it's meant to not show who is who as it would be a really overpowered role so I don't know what to tell you
The reason I added this nerf was because late game sensor would become a stronger medium, it knows where everyone is while knowing if at least someone is dead by counting the dots. The nerf makes it so having less players on the map doesn't guarantee that someone has died thus not becoming a stronger medium
- Stalker Change
Now always sees the location of their stalked target with an arrow regardless if they are dead. No longer recieves a cd when the pelican swallows their stalked bird.
- Serial Killer Buff
You get a non-duck target, killing them reduces your cooldown, killing others increases it. You can choose to get a different target once per round.
Magpie (Neutral Type)
You can complete fake tasks to upgrade your skill level. After completing n tasks, you will obtain the skill "Takeover". Once you activate this ability and survive, if at this time you enter the Pelican Moment/Owl Moment/Eagle Moment/Raven Moment (including when the Dodo is eliminated or when the pigeons infect all players and win), and survive until the countdown ends, you will replace it and win.
When you activate your skill, all neutral factions, including pairs from third parties, will receive a message. The Magpie has achieved the goal (displayed at the top of the task list).
“鸠占鹊巢”in china
The meaning represented by "in China" is: Your achievements have been usurped by others. Or perhaps after you have been away from home for several years, you discover that your house has been occupied by someone else.
This is the ability of the magpie.
Soul Apostle (Duck)
When you use this skill, you can duplicate the image of another player. If you use this image again, it will appear at your current position (only visible to you). After 5 seconds, it will suddenly appear and start moving randomly. The first person it collides with will be stunned for 5 seconds.
Cuckoo, this is China’s new neutral identity already on the shelves
Streamer (Duck)
After you use the skill, you will record the voice messages of the players within the next ten seconds.
When you use the skill again, it will play the audio that was recorded during the last use of the skill.
Warrior (Duck)
During the meeting, you can use the skill (Explosion). This will force the end of the current meeting. After the meeting is over, you will die. Additionally, the cooldown time for your teammates' melee attack will be reduced by 2 seconds.
(When using the skill, no player will know that you have activated it. After the meeting is over, 15 seconds later, your corpse will appear on the map.)
Pagan (Duck)
You can repeatedly use skills on a player. When a player is subjected to your use of two skills, he will lose his voting rights in the next meeting.
Each round is reset.
For the game, I propose a duck role: duck-penguin. It has the ability to take the appearance of a penguin, and to kill, it freezes its victim inside a block of ice and carries them away. After killing them, the goose is left in little ice cubes JSJSJSKS 😭
Electrician (Goose)
During a lights out, you can see the approximate locations of players on a minimap.
Solon [Duck]
Once per game, when the first or second meeting ends in a tie, you'll gain the ability to choose one person to get voted out. You lose the ability beyond the 3rd meeting
Why not transplant the mobile game character of the witch doctor to the PC game?
- Survivalist Buff
If the Pelican, Falcon and Raven are dead, a countdown begins when ducks gain majority. Geese win if you survive until the end of the countdown.
- Preacher Buff
You can select non-ducks during meetings to increase their voting power including skips. You can't target the same player twice in a row.
Imo this buff might need some tweaks because it could make the role overpowered but I want it to work in more scenarios than only when there is one duck left
Mystic (Goose)
Receives a short audiovisual notification that someone has been killed.
He also has passive ability to see the task bar fill during a round, regardless of lobby settings.
@coarse copper
It's possible that this inspired you, or perhaps you coincidentally developed a similar role. In terms of the general design direction, we're trying to build a different game and we aren't really looking to replicate the roles found in modded Among Us or other social deductions! But thank you for taking the time to make a submission, we love this type of community engagement.
Auditor (Goose)
You can switch between normal and auditory modes.
How it work: in Auditory Mode, you can hear other players footsteps, kill/swallow and talking, and increase your auditory vision, but your FOV will be reduced to a minimum.
A duck role named gunslinger. Gets to shoot in meetings like assassin. Only gets one bullet. Does not die if they miss the bullet. If their bullet hits the target they get another bullet.
Hey Gaggle Crew. How many reacts to get this added to the game?
Not how it works
We're interested in hearing all ideas that the community may have. If they're good we may consider it. If youre interested in reading about ideas that are more likely to be considered as well things to avoid (invincibility, roles designed specifically to ruin the fun of others, etc. you can check out the doc in #📌︱idea-channels-guidelines
I feel like it fits all of your guidelines. I hope it will be taken into consideration. Thanks for all your hard work
Being able to kill in a meeting discretely is very powerful, needs a cost. A balance.
🤔 I'll take that into consideration and get back to you with a rebalance then
Only thing I can think of offthe top of my head is death upon failure.
take your time, dont rush ideas
We have recreated the Assassin
take time, best ideas come naturally
Will do 👍
Duck role: Maniac
Activates all fixed sabos at the same time.
All sabos that got activated have to be fixed again
Neutral role: neutral
Wins with whatever team wins if still alive
But not the sabotages like fire, oxygen, poison, feeding the god etc.
At least one of them is active, because trying to fix them all at the same time would be awful
You could call it "Opportunist"
Saboteur [Duck]
Fixing the major sabotage(fire, poison, feeding the gods etc.) will make the timer go down faster(10 or 15 seconds), fixing minor sabotage(like turning off the lights) will only make the cooldown timer become less than 40 seconds
maybe even have a special task minigame for the saboteur where instead of the duck extinguishing fire, it sets more fire everywhere
Composer (Duck)
You can force other players play the rhythm game.
How it works: you mark the player, after which with some delay the victim begins play a rhythm game (similar to the piano task, but more difficult) and if the player misses a note, he dies. If player complete minigame he stay alive. Each reuse on same players will make minigame harder for them.
Hacker (Duck)
Description: You can temporarily hack other players.
How it works: First, you mark non-duck/mimic player, and then you can instill your mind into them for surveillance for limited time. That means you won't be able to move. You can use a player's ability if the player can use it at the moment, but the ability icon will always be the same so as not to reveal the player's role right away, unless it's a kill ability. You can also make it so that if a player is on a sabotage task, you can complete sabotage task for them, thereby making them suspicious.
Programmer (Duck)
Description: You automate the activation of sabotage.
How it works: During the round, you choose sequence of sabotage activations (e.g. fire --> door --> lights out). In the next round, every sabotage will be automatically activated in specified sequence each time immediately after cooldown is finished. Other ducks will not be able to activate sabotage if automation is active. Cannot activate sabotages normally.
@coarse copper
The Gaggle Team will deliberate over the suggestion, but likely chances are it does not align with our Designing Roles for Classic/Draft Living Document.
Feel free to give it a read, if you want some insight into the roles that would be more likely to approve of. This doesn't mean that your suggestion can't be inspiring and built upon, with this document in mind, keep at it! We love to see your ideas and concepts.
Duck role
Time turner
Makes a time trap that when a goose steps on the time trap makes them go back to the place they were standing at the beginning at the round.
Doesn't work on other ducks
Could make for some combinations like
Sniper+time turner or
Demo+time turner
Cuckoo - Neutral Role
The cuckoo operates similar to the Mimic where they are perceived as a duck to the other ducks and a goose to the other geese and neutrals. The cuckoos goal is to survive to the end without getting eliminated or killed. If they do, the cuckoo wins the game instead of the ducks or geese. In a situation where the Falcon, Pelican, or Raven are left and the Cuckoo is still alive, the Cuckoo must be eliminated in order for them to secure the win.
I'd appreciate any and all feedback on this idea Dev or no!!
Also, not sure if the role should be able to kill at all to help blend in but I feel that'd be better left to the gaggle crew's discretion.
Soul Reaper (Duck)
Swallowing ghosts reduces kill cooldown.
How it works: You have the passive ability to see ghosts. When you swallow a ghost, its vision will switch to yours until you die. This role can only be active if the spectator mode is enabled and ability of ghosts to possess other players is disabled (OR allow Soul Reaper to eat a ghost that has possessed it). Also, given ability, ghosts will need to be made slower and prevent them from leaving the map, at least if they have a Reaper.
Split Personality (goose)
Works like lover where if one dies the other dies too
It's Ability (together) makes them combine into one and depending on who presses the button first is the piloter, to make it fair, both of them could press the button again to let go
Drug Dealer (Duck)
Description: You are drugging other players. They will die if they do not complete enough tasks or if meeting is not called on time.
How it works: After mark a player, after a slight delay, they begin to audiovisual hallucinate, which will intensify. Shortly before death, player will no longer be able to distinguish between other players and will have trouble controlling them. Drugged players cannot call meetings. Each repeated use will accelerate the process of dying from a drug overdose.
Bounty Hunter
(
Goose )
- You have a list of duck roles similar to Assassin to pick from, if you guess a ducks role correct they gain a bounty on their head.
- They have till the next meeting call to kill you otherwise they will die, they gain a track on you.
- You cannot ring the bell upon correctly guessing a bountied target.
Nightingale
(Neutral)
Can only kill when lights are out. That's it, that's the whole thing.
How can one reverse this? Does it affect meetings?
How would it win? Does it have the same traits as Falcon?
I would assume as such
Solvent (Duck)
Short description: If you are killed or swallowed, you will shoot an acid that will dissolve them.
Details/how it works: A common duck with a passive ability to explode with acid when it dies. Acid will instantly kill the killer and all players who were nearby. A acid puddle will remain until the meeting is called, and if the player steps into it, it will dissolved. The Solvent's ability triggers on all deaths, except for voting.
P.S. If you are not satisfied with something, you can nerf/buff/rework/inspire this idea.
@coarse copper
The Gaggle Team will deliberate over the suggestion, but likely chances are it does not align with our Designing Roles for Classic/Draft Living Document.
Feel free to give it a read, if you want some insight into the roles that would be more likely to approve of. This doesn't mean that your suggestion can't be inspiring and built upon, with this document in mind, keep at it! We love to see your ideas and concepts.
Feel free to delete if this is in the wrong channel, but made my best guess lol. Is there a way role modifiers could be added? Like an engineer (or any role) could get a speed modifier or the ability to see in the dark?
thief [neutral killer]
You are unable to vote, you must steal someone's vote and you'll be able to vote twice and the target will not be able to vote. the person will be notify their votes has been stolen when the voting happen
alternivate better name would be magpie
Hater (Neutral)
When the game starts, one goose is randomly selected.
If that target is killed through voting, you win.
copy cat neutral can take a role until the meeting is called
*Emergency Role
*The purpose of this role is very simple: you can press the bell from anywhere in the game (limited to 1 or 2 ). You cannot use this feature in the first two rounds of the game, and it only unlocks when only 8 players remain.
hacker (duck)
activates random sabotage
This skill replaces the usual choice of sabotage
Explanation: It is activated regardless of whether they were made or not. sabotage, which requires tickets, etc., is not activated.
The "Needs a Name" (neutral)
Wins by getting killed by a goose
Loses by ducks, neutrals, or votes
I will drink heavily and shout at you anyway
Biologist Duck
You know the role of every body that gets reported by a non duck.
- Discourages self-reporting;
- Report and body discovery roles get more value (Mortician, fortune teller...).
Introvert duck
You can teleport a pre selected player to a random room (Like the morphling button)
- Can use to spread players;
- Cool plays with other ducks (teleport away a duck);
- Another thing to claim if you use vents.
Archaeologist Goose
You can see how long a body you reported has been on the ground (e.g., "20s").
- Identifies late reports;
- Protects players that are close or not from the body being sus;
- Exposes Ducks who "just found" a body.
It's been a while since I've created new roles. I hope this is useful for new ideas!
Role Ideas
Genie (Neutral) - Can grant you the wish of stealing a role during a meeting of someone who has died or disconnected.
Toucan (Duck) - A killer that gains two extra votes if they have killed two geese or neutrals that round.
Flamingo (geese) - has the ability to swap votes between two people
Sparrow (geese) - Has the ability to have an instant vote that ends the meeting if they vote for someone and send that geese or duck packing sacrificing itself in the process.
Parrot (duck) - a killer that can steal the abilities of another via meeting and that geese or duck would be unable to use their ability their next round
Robber (Duck)
By killing other players you steals their abilities
How it works: You will be able to use the ability of a last player you killed before your next victim
I Don't know what to call maybe the brute or something but for the trick or treat mode where it has a transformation like the mummy but it looks similar to the thralls
Parrot
(
Neutral )
- For every bell ring not by you, your kills get stronger, live to be the last survivor.
- The first bell rung you gain the ability to kill
- The second rung will allow you to kill during a meeting
- The third rung will allow you to kill two geese at once resetting your meter.
@tired gale Not to be the one telling you this, but there is already a neutral in the game called Pigeon, do you have an alternative name for your role? (edit: parrot is a good name)
Duck role, disabler
The ability makes it so the person you use it on cant use their abilitys for a round, doesn't work on
Passives (Canadian, lovers, ect)
This role is a friends role.
At the start of the game, three friends are chosen and put into a “Best Friend” zone.
Those three players will know each other.
However, if one of the three is a Duck, they will not know who the other Best Friends are and they won’t be able to see who they are.
The players who get the Friends role will try to guess which one of them is the Duck.
If all three are Geese, they will know each other’s locations, and they will also receive a notification if one of them dies.
Thank you for taking the time to read my idea.
I lowk forgot oops
this is very cool
Caracara
( Neutral )
**- Win as geese or kill to become a duck
-
If you don't kill, you can win as a geese
-
If you kill someone, you'll turn into a duck, but everyone will know you killed someone
-
After turning into a duck, you will recognize other ducks, and the ducks will recognize you too ( but you won't be able to sabotage )
-
Have a good understanding of the game so you don't end up on the losing team (and don't let the other neutral players win)
( Sorry if my English is bad, I'm using Google Translate😭 )**
Caracara sounds very similar to another Super Sus role called "Backstabber". If it is a coincidence, I'm sorry.
But still a really cool idea!
Copyduck:
A Duck that can take a sample from another bird. Once it has a sample, it can transform into that bird for 10 seconds. After using the disguise, the sample is used up, so the Copyduck must collect a new sample before it can transform again — even if it wants to copy the same bird.
Yeah, we already have the Morphling. It is also balanced by not being able to vent. I recommend people that they should know the in-game roles before suggesting a new one.
Role:Haunting Spirit
Faction:Goose
Ability:do tasks after you are dead and mark a person to provide info(one time)
Info:2 Tasks are counted as 1 when doing tasks at dead. Make everyone get a notification when the marked player is dead. Both abilities are only enabled when spirit is dead
Zombie Avian (donno what kind of bird to use here)
Neutral
Attack (bite) another goose and it will become a zombie avian next round (and lose its original role)
A zombie avian will die after 3 rounds and leave the reportable corpse
67% shorter vision than other avians but cannot be affected by duck sabotages
when a zombie avian get killed by another avian, there will be a 10% chance that the avian will get infected and turn into a zombie next round
Special interaction:
If A and B are lovers and A turn into a zombie, B will die if A die, but A won't die if B die
Dictator (Goose)
The dictator is a powerful role that can instantly end a meeting by voting someone out, only needing the dictator's vote. But the dictator also dies.
Pickpocket (Duck)
As the Pickpocket, you steal votes from the people you kill, but you can only steal 2 additional votes.
Forensic Pathologist (goose)
(CORONER+MOTICIAN)
'You can investigate a corpse to see their role and you gain an additional vote during meetings.'
-The abilities of these two can only be done with corpses, so if they do not find the bodies, they are no different from those of ordinary geese. If two people combine their abilities and discover a dead body, they will be able to create a good synergy effect.
-Forensic Pathologist can have a powerful impact by discovering a corpses, but you can only get it by discovering a corpses, so you won't lower the fun of other jobs, and the defects will definitely stand out
Magician (goose)
'You can investigate players and find out roles that aren't theirs.'
-The role of an investigator that's not too much, maybe
cook (goose)
'When you complete enough tasks, you gain an additional vote during meetings.'
-a job that encourages one to task
(Google translation)
Protector (duck)
During meetings can protect a fellow duck, so that if that duck gets the most votes, they won’t get kicked out.
A duck that can swap places with a chosen player would be nice.
Hacker: Neutral: Hacker and simply neutral, he can hack ducks and goose and another neutrals I think,He can clone the players, copy the players' functions and paste them onto other players, I think. The hacker can disable the sabotage if he manages to infect all 7 players, ending the game: The hacker has the right to end the game if he manages to infect the players; only death gives him a last chance, I think. Teleportation:A hacker implants a computer virus, but the players can't see or use its functions. The hacker can become invisible and teleport to the location where the virus was implanted. I think that's it. What do you guys think?
Officer(goose) only on maps with jails. can arrest 1 person per round for 25 seconds
Copycat
Geese
**1. Steal someone else's role once per round.
-
The player whose role was stolen will not lose it; they will continue in their original role.
-
If you steal the role of a duck/neutral, you will receive a random geese role.**
If you were to copy cat a duck twice, would you get the same random goose roll you got the first time or would it be completely random? It'd be a helluva way to role check
- Lobbyist Buff
You can kill once every time you collect enough votes. Your vote requirement decreases when enough birds die and increases after killing.
Switcher
Intro: switch with geese
The switcher is a duck.
Switcher’s abillity
The switcher can switch spots with a goose but cannot use vents or sewers etc
Difficulty ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Abillity 2 The switcher can also switch roles with a fellow duck if wanted
Abillity 3 The switcher may not want to switch with a goose but switch a goose and another goose’s place
Affects the meta because the role can confuse other players
Counterplay: switcher is honestly pretty op but their kill cooldown is not the switcher changes places with other players and that player may have another person with them so the cooldown has to be high or else it would be TOO op ( the cooldown is 55)
Commander
Intro: report bodies
The commander is a goose
Commander’s abillity
If a commander reports a body they instantly get a bodyguard/npc to help them say alive.
If a duck tries to kill the commander with a bodygaurd/npc the bodyguard/npc with die instead of them.
The commander cannot do tasks making it so they are more sus
Difficulty ⭐️ ⭐️
Affects the meta by making it so reporting bodies and actually more useful
Counterplay: commander might seem like a good role but it really isn’t. You are limited by the amount of bodyguards/npc’s which would be 1 once you use it then you can’t have anymore. ( DOES NOT WORK ON SNIPERS BECAUSE SNIPER SND KILL MULTIPLE PLAYERS)
Imo i think this role kinda changes gameplay
Ik people will say but u will find out who will kill. No. U will not. Once they kill your guard then you cannot speak or call meetings you can try to signal that their the goose but chances are low.
Their bodyguard/npc will be invisible
Okay read it so now what
Nothing, unless you want to continue to build on your idea with the insights that comes with the document. The document covers some of the design principles we consider when it comes to adding roles to GGD. Such as avoiding ideas that include kill blocking/revivals or roles with multiple abilities for example. Flamingo
Parrot (Neutral - Ruby Red Colored)
"Mimic inactive roles to win. Your tasks are (sometimes) fake."
The Parrot is a neutral that take deceased players abilities. Every meeting, the Parrot will choose a dead player (have to guess their role with all killed roles, EX: Detective,Sheriff died; Guess Sheriff or Detective on one for their role)
When gaining a role, you will have your own Assassin-like menu to swap to that role and use its ability. If the ability is passive, it will be added to your main effects on Parrot.
Parrot can be played with Pelican or Falcon, but not Raven/Mimic.
When in final 3, Parrot gains a kill button and must kill Pelican/Falcon and remaining players.
It cannot be shot by Assassin or Raven unless it mimics Assassins ability and self kills.
Deputy (Goose)
"Carry out the law during meetings."
Cannot be in the same game as Sheriff.
Can only shoot Neutral roles and Duck roles in the meetings.
Shooting a goose will have both of you killed.
Cannot shoot Assassin/Raven. Assassin/Raven can shoot Deputy.
And I understand this may be too complicated, but I would love to breach ideas out!
- Esper Rework
You can kill players remotely in your vision after interacting with them. You can move while doing so.
When someone dies, you can clear everyone from being esper and invisible if they were moving and were next the body.
This reworks makes it so players next to the body when it died can only be cleared from being invis but not esper and players not next to it cleared from being esper but not invis making it more difficult to deduce whos the killer.
All this is assuming you know it was an esper or invis kill since someone can still fake it. Besides that this esper could be a faster killer (default kill cd) than the current one at the cost of being near from their kills
If you're using the esper at close range, you are not really taking full advantage of the "kill remotely"
You are suggesting a rework because you could socially deduce an esper using their ability at close range if they are not moving? Caught red handed? You may have to resort to deceiving, lying, throwing people under the bus whatever you can do to try to clear your name
There is more incentive to add new content over replacing/removing existing content
I wanted to make the esper more of a group killer than it already is at the cost of no longer being able to kill from far distances
Yes and no, I suggested it to lean to more social deductions of the esper and invis instead of mechanical ones, the first clause that I gave was an example, regardless of socials, if you know for sure someone didnt kill normally and the player just died while no one was close enough then you just gotta hang the ones w no alibi so I wanted to give the esper a way to leave barely any evidence if players are grouped so it is stronger if players group, weaker if they don't. I used the esper role since I already didnt like its kill speed late game and being countered by meetings, something the demo no longer suffers from even if still having a long cd but I think I have talked long enough lol, just giving an idea for a role I dont like
Eagle (Neutral)
Eagles are smart and intelligent, so this would be a hard role to conquer. So, the eagle has different abilities. First, he has the ability to drag players like the undertaker but much faster. This could be used to hide bodies. Then the eagle can fly in the map for 5 seconds so he's fast and can go through walls and then will drop somewhere, a good way to flee from bodies.
Optional but cool concept:
Something cool that could happen is that an eagle and vulture may team up to both win. So if there's both an eagle and vulture. The eagle kills and drags the body towards vulture (when dragging, an arrow shoes the vulture's location) downside to thai is that the eagle may drag it to the vulture whilst its near people giving away them both. But if the eagle and vulture each kill/eat 3 people, the Eagle unlocks an ability, which gives the eagle a 5 second cooldown and super speed. Meeting cant be called, but bodies may still be reported.
Role suggestion: Camper goose
The Camper Goose can fix 1 sabotage for every 10 missions it completes (excluding door sabotages)And its visibility is not affected by light or fog sabotage.
Magic (duck)
You have 3 new skills.
1)Invisibility cloak: You can mark an area that will be invisible to everyone, but you will still be able to see who enters and who leaves.
2)Magic wand: you can make corpses disappear, but this rule only applies to bodies that you yourself killed.
3)Magic Clock: You can reset sabotages or decrease repair time.
President ( Duck )
Have the ability to end a reunion
Eagle (neutral)
You need to eject your target to win.
The only roles that will not be targeted are: dodo bird, hitman/bodyguard, and lovers.
Altruist (Goose):
When the altruist reports a body they revive the player for the risk of their own life
Cuckoo (Neutral): The Cuckoo is originally roleless but if they report a body they take on the role
Mare (Duck):
can only kill if lights are out and their name is red to everyone
How about add a beach themed map with a new neutral role called the albatross. It can only kill on water, moves faster on water, and wins a last survivor. Ducks can not win before the albatross is killed.
Possibly a neutral role that could turn people into blood splatters, like Chandelier...
Naming things that could potentially be roles is the easy part, what would these role ideas do? What faction do they belong to?
Or are these #🎩︱cosmetic-ideas
Official Role Proposal: High Potential (Goose)
Class Definition and Purpose
The High Potential is a specialized investigator who focuses entirely on the crime scene rather than living players. Their goal is to reconstruct how a murder was committed rather than just "who" was nearby.
This role eliminates the element of guesswork by providing concrete forensic evidence from the victim's final moments.
- Active Ability: Potential Trace
When standing over a body before it is reported, the High Potential can use their ability to visualize the victim's final 5 seconds of existence as a "ghost trail."
Action: Requires standing still over the body for a brief interaction period (e.g., 2–3 seconds).
Trace Colors (Decryption):
Deep Purple: Indicates the killer utilized a Vent immediately before or after the strike.
Silver Grey: Indicates the killer was Invisible or cloaked during the attack.
Pure Blue: Indicates a standard kill through direct Physical Contact, with no special mechanics used.
Why it aligns with Herbert’s Design Principles:
-
Novel Gameplay:
While the Detective checks living players for "kill marks," the High Potential investigates the body. It introduces a high-stakes decision: "Do I report immediately for safety, or do I stay for 3 seconds to analyze the Purple/Grey/Blue traces and risk being caught?" -
Direct Counterplay:
Ducks can counter this by self-reporting their own kills to destroy the evidence before the High Potential arrives. Additionally, roles like the Professional (who hides bodies) directly nullify this ability, maintaining game balance. -
Simplicity & UI:
The role has one button and one purpose: "Investigate the Dead." This is perfect for mobile interfaces and can be explained in just a few lines of text. -
Impact on the Meta:
The mere presence of a High Potential discourages Ducks from reckless venting or using invisibility. It forces them to be more tactical, knowing that their "hidden" mechanics can be decoded even after they leave the scene.
great heavens
I believe a dynamic flow of events provides more game mastery than the Detective or Mortician roles; provided, of course, that the one reporting the body is the High Potential themselves and naturally, it's a different story if they are the victim. Don't you think it's a great role?
Can u make a Nice Guesser role
NiceGuesser: can the ducks role in meeting for a Goose
Interesting role idea, but this role would conflict the already existing Assassin (and possibly Raven too). Giving geese the power to kill during meetings might be unbalanced (or way too powerful). Great idea though!
Its for guessing what the imposters roll is
what's an impostor? 🤔
yes but this would be unbalanced, a duck, a neutral and a goose that can assassinate their rivals is a lot. If this role ever gets added only one of them (assassin, raven and your role suggestion)
would most likely be present in a game
Or the "nice guesser" would be balanced in a way like the Raven, can assassinate during meetings but has a catch of some kind
this is my feedback.
The virus: a role that splices dna from other gooses and ducks and grows so it attaches to one of the players like an esper and after a certain amount of time it can evolve it it splices enough dna and it creates a final countdown where it is like acid disolving the map
its also a duck role but doesnt know who the other ducks are
Hmm... What would be a role idea? Oh! How about this: Casino Quacker (Neutral): Their role remains neutral through the whole game, but, with a twist. After each meeting, his tasks randomise and his ability changes. (He can minipulate any of the abilities from every role in the game) However, his role will be known to all the other members of the crew, which will make him a often target. I apologise for making this so long. Lets keep our futures bright! 😄
Changed the text a bit
Pyromaniac: Has a shorter fire sabotage cooldown and can toggle invisibility in active fire rooms, but can only kill in active fire rooms. Kill cooldown recharges faster in active fire rooms.
Duck
Medic: Can revive dead bodies, but the revived player cannot talk for the rest of the game. (Perhaps can only talk to the Medic?)
Here’s a suggestion: why not make survivor a NEUTRAL instead of GOOSE role? Survivor’s goal is to stay till the top 3, and if he is there, a countdown will begin and if the survivor still is alive, they win the game. Also, survivor should gain the ability to kill once. This gives the survivor some identity rather than them just needing to ‘survive’
There are already a couple neutral roles that win as last survivor (Pelican, Falcon) the Goose version was designed to fit into the Goose faction
I have a role
The name is penguin and it has the ability to freeze people
Its a neutral role It cannot kill but if ut can freeze everyone else it wins the only way the people can get unfrozen is either the penguin is killed or a goose role names flame which can unfreeze the frozen duck the freeze cooldown and flame cooldown is 20 seconds the people who were frozen dont die but cant talk and die when a meeting or dead body is reported if flame and penguin are the last 2 alive they have a standoff if penguin freezes the flame penguin wins but the flame could kill the penguin and the geese would win the only way a.penguin can freeze is by touching a play and flame unfreeze them by touching a person kinda like freeze tag
And a sleeper role where it is a goose role and if it is asleep no one can see it and only last 15 second with a 30 second cooldown it can see murders while it is asleep but u can turn that off and it can only hear the murders while it is asleep but if it dies the body is not able to be reported they can only see in black and white
What if there was a neutral role where once a round you can pass or touch a player and then when you activate it a double splits off from that player and walks around as well? Doesn’t really help or hinder but adds some chaos 😋
!!
Here’s two ideas that go hand in hand (I think they’re really good and unique): the lawyer is a neutral role that needs to be in the top 3 to win. However, they have a client (that can be a part of any faction), and the lawyer knows their role. If the client is voted out (not killed), the lawyer instantly dies. The next idea I have, is the prosecution, who is also a neutral, and his goal is to vote out a certain player (that can be a part of any faction), but the prosecution does not know their role. The prosecution’s ‘target’ is also the lawyers client; when there is a lawyer in the game there is a prosecution, vice verca.
Allow these roles use their ability 15 seconds prior the voting time
New Role:Gull (Neutral): Color: Green (008000): Can fly, steal other players' items while flying.(All Map)
What do you mean by "items"?
Role Proposal: High Potential (Goose)
The High Potential is a specialized investigator focusing on the crime scene rather than living players.
The primary objective is to reconstruct the methodology of a murder through forensic visualization, eliminating guesswork.
Active Ability: Potential Trace
By standing still over an unreported body (for 2–3 seconds), the player visualizes the victim’s final 5 seconds as a "ghost trail."
FBI
He can chose a player and hear what he say from any distance
911
He can call any member of his teamate to chat with
Trapper
He can set invisible traps on the map
New Role: The Blackbird (Neutral Role) Color #212121
Can kill both geese and ducks. Uses an ability to blind players around them.
Peacock ( Neutral )
During a meeting, a button similar to the Raven's appears for the Peacock. Pressing this button allows you to exit and complete missions. If you successfully complete 20 missions across multiple meetings, the Peacock wins. (( The Peacock has a separate mission gauge.))
Hunter (Goose)
During the game, the hunter can select a target to check its location and movement path. The target's location is marked as a red dot on the map, and the location changes depending on the target's position
Garuda - Neutral Role
You have a kill button that is always 10 seconds longer than the set Duck kill cooldown. If you can kill three other players (kill count does not reset during meetings) you can unlock the ability to transform into your True Form! While in your True Form you are 15% faster, unkillable (even by traps), your name is hidden, and emergency meetings cannot be called. You can kill anyone else simply by walking over them, crushing them underfoot. You can only be in your True Form for 30-45 seconds, after time runs out you revert to your normal bird form. If you are in your True form with less than 3 Geese and 0 Ducks you automatically win the game!
Feel free to give it a read, if you want some insight into the roles that would be more likely to approve of. This doesn't mean that your suggestion can't be inspiring and built upon, with this document in mind, keep at it! We love to see your ideas and concepts.
- Lost Duckling Buff
You don't know who the other ducks are but you do know what roles they have.
The doppelduck - Duck
So its a duck capable of creating clones of other players the clones move randomly around the map, mimicking basic player behavior to create confusion and false alibis
The role, once picked, will be designed as random like the lovers
the visionary -goose [couldnt think of a name]
this bird can see through the eyes of others, it cannot hear them if they have vc but it can see everything, if you die it dies if it witnesses you kill it become a neutral role and can turn into any other role thats not currently taken by an alive person but they will no longer be able to commune with other players [this part could be excluded]
Shrike (Neutral): Place invisible traps to kill players. Win as the last survivor. Also, the traps reset every meeting to avoid it being OP.
- Politician Overhaul
You gain an additional vote during meetings when you collect enough votes
AND One More.
HypnotistㆍDuck Role [Disguisers Banned]
You can apply one of two hypnotic sabotages every hour. (It is prohibited to turn it on at the same time.)
Instead, other sabotage is not possible, and vent/hiding places are not available.
[Hypnotist Sabotage]
• Color confusion (cooldown time of 50 seconds)
It randomly mixes the colors and nicknames of all players. (Apply 15 seconds)
• Distinguishing confusion (cooldown time of 60 seconds)
With all players' colors covered in gray, no decorations, and their nicknames covered, you can walk for 10 seconds, and you don't even know who killed the goose.
Shrike Rework (Neutral): Place visible traps to kill players. Win as the last survivor. Also, the traps reset every meeting to avoid it being OP. The shrike has to stand still for 5 seconds to place a trap, and traps cannot be placed next to eachother.
Ostrich (Neutral):
Objective: Survive the hunt
You can dig vents across the map, which only you can jump into and travel to any other connected vents. The maximum time you can stay in the vents is 10 seconds (5 seconds during the Ostrich Hunt). Digging ability has a 15-second-recharge.
Ostrich hunt timer (60 seconds) is triggered when you are in the following cases while being alive:
- Geese fulfill their victory conditions via voting AND there's at least one player from geese team that has ability to kill.
- Ducks fulfill their victory conditions via killing.
- Falcon/Pelican is among the last 4 survivors (including you) (optional)
During the Ostrich hunt, meetings are impossible. Your identity will be revealed to all other players. They will also know your instant location every 5 seconds. Geese can only win by killing you or by tasks before the Ostrich hunt timer ends (same for Ducks with deadly sabotages), while Falcon/Pelican has to kill/swallow you before the timer ends. If you survive until the timer ends, you'll win.
P/s: Pigeon can win during the Ostrich hunt if he infected everyone before the timer ends.
The following cases would negate the timer and decide who wins instantly:
- Geese win by tasks or by voting and no killing role is alive
- Ducks win by sabotages
- Pigeon wins by infecting everyone
- Vulture wins by eating enough corpses.
When the detective analyzes, why not let it show in the meetings? It would help because you can easily forget if you analyzed a lot of players!
What if when the ducklings from the Cuckoo eggs hatch, they are the same color as the Cuckoo player? (ex: light blue cuckoo = light blue ducklings)
This could hard counter morphlers
One more thing, during the Ostrich hunt, you cannot dig vents
Guardian Angel
Geese
**In each round, protect someone from dying.
-
Choose someone to protect (obviously it can't be you). The protected player's protection will end in the next round.
-
If someone tries to kill or swallow the chosen player, the assassin will break the protection, and can only kill them on the second attempt. ||( This also works for traps on the map. )
-
Only the killer will see the protection being broken; the protected player ( and other players ) will not know about the assassination attempt.
-
He also cannot be murdered in meetings (raven, assassin), but he can be ejected.
-
You can only protect someone 5/4 times (depending on how many people are in the room), after that you become a normal geese.**
- Mimic Buff
The ducks view you as one of their own. When a duck does a sabotage task other ducks can't use it until next round or if they also do it
Why?
This new passive ability is not meant to be disruptive but rather give the mimic a little more time overall by delaying duck confimation via doing sabotage tasks (ducks will see as if the sabotage isnt enabled and cant use it either when another duck enables it)
That would be kinda cool
Mimic kinda useless apart from the ducks being able to kill each other
It would be kinda cool if there was a goose that could place security cameras
And look through them
The cameras could also be destroyed by a duck
The mimic can decieve the ducks by socials, making them believe they're their partner with the risk that it can backfire, it's a high risk high reward role, so it doesnt need to be useful mechanically
- Another Lost Duckling Buff
You don't know who the other ducks are but you do know what roles they have. You can target players learning what possible duck roles they have and ducks learn your non duck targets in meetings
- Hunter Goose
You can place invisible traps that get triggered when any kill ability was used nearby. Once per meeting, you can select any number of players telling you if at least one of them have triggered a trap.
What about a goose who can place security cameras around the map with a max of 6. This role can stop and look at the cameras at any time. The cameras can be destroyed by ducks/neutrals and the role gets a notification when a camera is destroyed and the ability goes on cooldown again.
@proven sluice
It's possible that this inspired you, or perhaps you coincidentally developed a similar role. In terms of the general design direction, we're trying to build a different game and we aren't really looking to replicate the roles found in modded Among Us or other social deductions! But thank you for taking the time to make a submission, we love this type of community engagement.
Role:Grackle
Faction:Neutral
Curse
curse a player using curse, cursed player will get notified that they are cursed in meetings, if they don't vote the grackle out they will die, if they vote out the grackle cursed players live
Insane Goose (Goose, innocent)
Crow already a corruption mode thing lol
Role: Alchemist
Faction: Goose
Ability: potion, the alchemist gets access to 3 different potions which he unlocks by doing tasks. He starts of with the speed potion which gives speed to people it's used on for 10 seconds. The next potion he unlocks after doing three tasks is a sight potion which allows people it's used on to see through walls for 5 seconds the final potion he unlocks after doing 5 tasks is the cooldown reduction potion which lowers the persons ability cooldown for half of the timer(say something is on a 14 sec cooldown it would be reduced by 7 secs). The alchemist can use the speed and vision potions on itself the potions have a 30 second cooldown per use.
Role:Starling
Faction:Neutral
Ability:
Blind:
Makes everyone except Starling's vision low (as of closed lights)
Morph:
Mark a player and morph into the player
Win condition:
Survive until the last three players.A countdown will happen and Makes everyone except Starling's vision low. If Starling doesn't get killed, Starling wins
Role:Swan
Faction:Neutral
Ability:
Mute:
Mute a player,the muted player can't talk, muted players will die after the meeting ends with added a certain period of time to acknowledge other people who the swan might be, the muted player will know that they're muted after 12 seconds. Muted players can't vote, not even skip.
Win condition:
Mute 5 players before a meeting happens.
Civil Goose (Goose, Innocent)
Has an ability to block itself from attacks for 5 seconds that recharges every 30 seconds, 25 seconds if there are 8< people. If it dies, a message pops up telling everyone (except ducks and neutral birds) that the civil goose died. If the civil goose protects itself by blocking the attack, a message also pops up telling everyone (except ducks and neutral birds) that the civil goose protected itself. The messages are like the famous goose's message when it dies.
Role: Mockingbird
Role Color: #757575
Faction: Neutral
Ability: None
Win Condition: get killed
Might need to change the win condition and add a little more to it
Losing for killing a specific player would not be fun and would feel random when you lose
hmmm
Revise of mockingbird
Role: Mockingbird
Role Color: #757575
Faction: Neutral
Ability:
1. Clone: creates a clone of himself that stands still (or moves around idc) ( also max clone of 3 or 5) when clone is killed it plays a mockingbird sound
2. Swap: his map opens up and can pick a clone to swap places with (you might also make it so you cant move for a couple seconds after death
Win Condition: get killed 3/4/5 times for lobbies with 4-9/10-13/14-16 people
Please dont include a link
oh sorry
Role: horse
Role colo Brown
Faction neutral
Ability
- It can only run in straight left up down or right but it kill anyone in gets in front of it him However, with each kill he Loses kill cooldown whitch can reach up to 30 seconds
2 objective kill tô win
- Demolitionist Buff
You plant bombs on other players. You can kill when enough ducks died replacing {Action C} but it shares cooldown with the bombs
Why?
Late game indirect stealth kills overall aren't too useful, giving the demo an option to start killing directly allows a faster flow of the game while also keeping the option to plant bombs if needed
I would add the following condition:
role: mockingbird;
victory condition: be killed by a defined role/person with destroy ability (the role/person is known/unknown as you will). Any death by defined person counts as victory.
- Raven Buff
Win by killing everyone. You can leave meetings to kill one specific role or the previous one. You gain the ability to kill in rounds if theres one or no ducks left.
- Esper Rework
You can mark players and see their identity as a spirit. You can send your spirit after marked players to kill them and your spirit builds speed over time.
Why?
Since I have been thinking for a proper rework of the esper that can still keep its old self in some way I took inspiration from the witch doctor, ability wise it mimics the bw so I decided to make the esper mimic the astral while killing players but instead of going through walls it gets faster over time as a spirit till they kill a player
Role:Eagle
Faction:Neutral
Ability:
Flight Dash:
Transform into an opened-winged eagle ,Eagle's speed will be increased by 2x and peck the first person running into you,they will die without a reportable body(similar to demolition) , only one person can be killed per dash and the cd will reset after hitting someone.
Win condition:
Survive until last 3 players, there will be a timer, survive through the timer.The vulture indeed can eat the body
Can the vulture eat the eagle's bodies?
Having the muted players die after a meeting ends kind of hurts the Swan objective bc there would be less players to mute. What if instead the Swan can't target them twice in a row?
- Seer Goose
You can seer a player lasting the whole game until a seered player dies. When that happens you can choose a role: if duck you know if it's in the game or not otherwise you get 2 more roles which at least one of them is alive
Spectrum
Duck
**Leave your body to kill geese.
-
After each meeting, you can choose a target.
-
You can leave your body as a spirit to kill your target.
-
Only your target will be able to see you as a spirit.
-
You only can kill as a spirit, without normal kill
-
If you kill your target, you can choose another one in the same round.**
thats just an op version of celebrity
Having the dead communicate with the living breaks social deduction in many ways. "So and So killed me and they were Assassin" because ghosts can see who everyone is
Fun fact the original medium could see ghosts and the ghosts would just circle the person they wanted the ghosts to target
But keep the ideas comin
ideas spark ideas but if you're interested #📌︱idea-channels-guidelines has a document that outlines some common things we try to avoid
How about a Knight Their role is to put a shield on a player so if the duck tries to kill them they die. Geese role.
