We can take the Cecil hotel as a reference for your building map idea. It will be crazy
ššš. Ik I didn't show a picture reference and that's cuz I couldn't think of one š
A bakery filled with different types of bread š„ š„ š (cuz you know, geese/ducks love bread) and you get some cooking sim-style tasks (roll out the dough, bake the bread, write the specials on the chalkboard, cash register, clean the tables, etc)
And the big plot twist ā there are vents, but theyāre all ovens that arenāt on. the ducks have a sabo to turn all of the ovens and kill the engi/pigeon/other ducks if they arent paying attention after a 5 second āpre-heatā period

A map idea you say what about the haunted hotel in the haunted hotel there will be new roles and an elevator there will be four floors. The elevator is an easy way to go up or down but when the lights go off you can't use the elevator. and there would be a sabotage so if you go in the elevator you will die in some way. (Maybe you guys can tell me some roles idea for the haunted hotel and a sabotage for the elevator)
It would be great to have a vent in the elevator if the power goes out in the cabin so the engineers and ducks can get in. We remember the goose who was left alone with the murder.

The North Pole.
Sabos:
summon snow storm-obscures vision slows geese and ducks down when outside in the storm.
Put out the fire- There is a bonfire in the center of the map next to the bell. When sabotaged a timer starts. If the players can't gather the wood around the map and put it into the fire it they will freeze to death resulting in a duck win. find some sticks in different places on the map and take them to the center to the bon fire, toss them in.
New roles:
Penguin- goose- isn't slowed down by the storm
Snowy owl-duck- becomes invisible when in a snow storm
New tasks:
shovel snow- piles of snow outside on the paths
gather the blankets- in the igloos there are blankets laying on the ground. pick them up and put into on the bed. the player picks up multiple blankets and then put them all on a bed
The map includes one large cave and several smaller igloos as indoor structures and the rest is outside. Only the outside is affected by the snow storm
Cosmetics that release with the map can be cold weather gear. Like snow coats, hats and ice sickles falling out of the beak

I suggested a role called penguin where when killed it would freeze those around it in place, including the killer and it would also work well on this map!
ok, what about the goose is a puffin. but the penguin is a neutral? I like that idea. there is a kill delay maybe 5-10 seconds. anf when that player dies anyone around them is then frozen unable to report or move for a few seconds. Would be funny to be in a group of 3 as the penguin and affect a player then pretend to be frozen, or randomly claim you frozen on a kill to throw off sus

the Penguin. they can have a second ability when they freeze (x) amount to win
e.g frozen they can't move till the end of the round unless they get unfrozen by someone else

They would need a way for people to not easily know it's them though. Like posibly a player slowly gets slower and then is stuck in place like how demo waits 3 second before bomb count to start and esper waits like 30 seconds before kill happends.

Art is not my forte, so I wonāt attempt to create a map. I would LOVE to see a haunted house (preferably with two floors). I think that would be so cool!

Maybe with two sections separated by a road and kind of like the nexus colony instead of going. By shuttle is could be by a bus or something.the map could also have day and night.during the day vision is normal however during the night vision is decreased by 25% for everyone.also could have new areas such as a gift shop and different exhibits or like a ticket selling booth

The avian feline:goose(name not yet defined)(can see normal during the night)
Chameleon:duck(can go invis and kill but when they go uninvis then they shift into someone else for the rest of the round and cannot kill as other person)(kind of like combined invis and morphling)
This is not a bad idea and the role ideas are great.But I think at night your vision should be 50% lower if you do 5 tasks you can get a flashlight or something like that. And they should be a neutral role call the owl when it's dark you get the option to transform into an owl( exactly like the crow) and you can kill at night or when the lights go down. And sometime the lights will go out randomly when you're in the zoo Goose has to fix the generator to turn on the lights. When it's daytime and the lights are fixed the owl will have 5 seconds to run away before the ability goes away.
Thanks and thatās even better than what I originally thought of although I think the neutral role should be called something else considering that in hootnseek mode there is a role called the owl maybe it could be called the eagle I also think 5 tasks in the dark is too much so maybe like 3

I think that there is a missed opportunity for dead bodies to be dropped in the open grave in the cemetery or down the well in the town square by the undertaker.
Would be neat to be able to push someone down the well like you can push someone into the fire

You can do a map about the sea that all the players are playing under the sea and you can add 2 new roles for the map maybe Duck role like posidon or something in the sea and the map should be large like larger than mallard manor but not very large you can add 2 or 1 more places

Map Name: Celestial Clouds
A mystical and ethereal map set high in the clouds, where divine beings and dark forces clash. The map features bright, glowing skies, floating temples, and swirling storms in the distance. Players navigate the divine realms while dodging sabotage and working toward their goals.
New Classes:

Angel (Goose): A protector who can shield a fellow Goose from a single kill. Once per game, the Angel can create a divine barrier around a player, preventing them from being eliminated.

God (Goose): A powerful figure who can smite enemies. Once per game, the God can call down lightning to eliminate a Duck, but only if they are certain of the Duck's identity. The ability requires great accuracy.

Fallen Angel (Duck): A former divine being turned to darkness, the Fallen Angel can disguise themselves as an Angel. They can sabotage the map with false divine powers, confusing and leading the Geese astray.
Sabotage:

"Flee from the Demons": The Demons attack the map, causing chaos and forcing players to flee to designated safe zones. If players donāt reach these zones in time, they are eliminated. The Ducks can trigger this sabotage to cause mass confusion and make easy kills.

"Storm of Wrath": A massive celestial storm brews in the distance, disrupting communications and tasks for a short period. Players are unable to talk or use abilities while the storm rages.

New Year's map: There will be a snowy town with a large mansion-like house in the center and small houses on the streets. When we stay outside for too long, our character will freeze and will open after a while. For this reason, there will be stoves and heaters in the houses. There will be snowmen in front of trees decorated with lights. Sabotages - There will be a snowstorm.

Summon waves-Summon a huge wave that would make the submarine shake and teleport players into different rooms.
O2-the oxygen in the map would decrease and everyone would have to grab an oxygen mask whoever does not grab one dies.(similar to among us)
Summon siren-summons a siren to lure a target to their death.
New roles:
seagull(neutral)-eats 8 fish that spawn around the map
Albatross(duck)-can mark someone then teleport to kill them
Puffin(goose)does 10 tasks to reveal each duck.

Thereās nothing like it so far so it would be very unique. I think it could also be even more unique if thereās water around the map that slows the players walking in it slightly.

Yeah something simple to memorize like the other maps but changes as well. Sabotaging could change courses, hidden areas, open and closing areas. Honestly I feel like the ideas are open for a Maze type map

Hotel "goose feather" This is a wonderful 5 star hotel. It has a swimming pool, a restaurant and a medical center, as well as 2 floors. It should look something like this:
First, I absolutely love a 2 story map to be added, and the fact that the rooms could have tasks for all of them would make it easy for ducks to murder and maybe hide under the bed as a āventing spotā. I have some great role ideas too, like a duck that can close specific doors for a sabotage, a check-up goose that could see if you have any current effects on you (pigeon sneeze, party, esper, etc..). I love this map man!

I would recommend adding suites, ventilation, small corridors, a gift shop, staff only room, luggage sector, elevators or stairs for moving around the 2 floors, and more corridors the better instead of simply just plain rooms surrounding the interior.

The Museum: I think it would be fun to paly on and that it would be a fun concept of new tasks with neanderthal geese and cleaning the relics, the news paper showing the posters of all other maps when you're scrolling through the newspapers would be a fun detail with headlines of some murder on those maps.

Undersea Base a la Jules Undersea Lodge, but obvi way nicer.
- Feeding hole/chum bucket for body disposal
- Kraken tentacles sabo that randomly grabs players and pulls them off the base, so no corpses to report
- Shark duck role that has an ability to track player movement within a certain radius
- Octopus neutral role that blends in when not moving and can vent.
- Eel goose that can shock anyone that tries to attack (duck, neutral, or goose) once per game and save player from death.
- "Vents" are basically hatches to leave/reenter base.

1.it looks like it's a little bit abandoned with newspapers on the ground papers and dirty floor and also a little bit of broken glass on the floor

cherry blossom map for us pink girlies. could be like a cherry blossom garden with a pond and pink leaves that fall down. cobblestone floors that are littered with pink leaves. hedges and fountains can be included as well. across the pond there can be little stepping stones that ducks/geese can cross over.

I have a map idea that is like a Mashup of most of the current maps so it would be a broken down manor it'd be missing walls it have arcade games in it it'd have a caller door down to a basement it'd be really dusty and have a greenhouse area showers and be kinda like a fallout camp it would have more hiding spots in it it'd have vents and a few new rolls that are exclusive to that map kinda like the godzilla map did it'd have more sabotoges than just 4-5 of them it'd have areas you can fall through the floors it'd have vines and like a hole in the ground with a new task of swinging on a vine to get over it

For future maps, Iād like to suggest considering a mechanic where the map gradually shrinks over time. The idea is for the game to start on a large map, which would become more compact by the end.
In full lobbies, itās often the case that some maps (like the Mansion) feel too small for 16 players ā everyone crosses paths too often, making it very hard for Ducks and Neutrals to get kills. On the other hand, if you choose a large map (like Godzilla), the opposite problem occurs in the late game ā when only 5ā6 players remain, they might barely encounter each other and may never find bodies.
Youāve already implemented destructible objects on maps ā that mechanic could be reused so that destroyed zones become inaccessible. Or you could introduce a new concept, like an invasion of a mythical shadow, or something similar.
In my opinion, this would both improve the overall gameplay experience ā since the map size would better reflect the number of living players throughout the match ā and encourage āevilā roles to play more aggressively. Otherwise, as the map shrinks, it would become harder for them to get kills unless they actively reduce the number of innocents early on.
I like this idea.
Iām currently thinking of a few things that would fit.
A Fairy Tail Castle that gets overrun by thorny plant and or vines.
A Ski resort or just ice planet base that gets slowly covered in snow.
A space base where a meteor storm is happening. Sometimes a room/sector gets hit and get shut of because there are cracks or a whole meteor destroyed the room. Might be interesting if you could still use rooms with small cracks but if a second hit happened there the room would get destroyed randomly.
I think a shrinking map would be interesting.

I think an airport map could be really cool. You could have an active runway in the middle of the map. If geese arenāt careful, a plane could depart/arrive and cause a bird strike (can you imagine the animation of feathers flying). It could also introduce the albatross as a new neutral bird!

Instead of creating a whole new map, it might be interesting to give an existing map a 2.0 version like they do with Rainbow Road on Mario Kart. Itās the same concept, but reimagined.
The portals would have to be numerous and the map small to make it balanced for the impostors and neutrals
Map Name: Ionia Base
Description: A scientific base built on the top of a forest mountain
The map has 8 zones: Madytos Square, Reactor, Science Facility, Storage, Forest, Abandoned Cemetery, Cafeteria, and the Outer Laboratory.
Mechanics:
- The train can take you from the Northern part of the base to the southern part, and vice versa. If a player is run over by the train, he dies.
- The bat sabotage can be used to infect the abandoned cemetery with bats, if a player is inside that room for more than 4s, he dies. Ducks are immune to the effects.
So interesting. Is there anything more?

Map Name: Filadelfeia Castle
Description: A castle built in the middle of a forest. This map has 10 rooms in total.
Mechanics:
- The chandalier sabotage an be used every 30s by the ducks, which can be used to kill any player in the Observation Room at that moment
- The Lights Sabo can be used to turn off the lights until someone fixes them
- The water sabotage can be used to poison the castle's water supply which will result in a duck victory if unfixed
And at the South passage part there should be some way to lower the drawbridge or something similar so people can't enter

Idea for a GGD Map - The Museum of Geese
Museum map filled with artifacts, fossils, treasure and etc. sabotages - put out fire, fix the lights, oxygen and T- Rex. A giant skeleton T- Rex transforms into a real t-Rex as the killing sabotages for imps. T- Rex cannot fit/ go into smaller rooms like the gift shop or the bathroom. Elevator, ride the elevator to go on different floors but be careful that you are not beneath the elevator when descending.

Not all buildings are accessible and designed intentionally that way. When you add more alleys and internals of buildings, you increase the scale of the map which may not be the result you are looking for
A forest clearing, you can hide in the forest, and the sniper can't see you, but the other killers can smell you

Pyromaniac (Duck) Vulture Volcano Exclusive: After completing X amount of fake tasks, their next kill will have no dead body. This is because they burned the dead body. However, other mechanics will still work. Like if they kill the celebrity the alert will still show and if they kill canadian they will still self report.

my map concept is still not finished, my idea is a open space map
like a colony in one of the planets the goose discovered
im still changing lines and stuff, trying to come up with a layout that isnt too crowded ot too empty that works well as a standalone map and for a possible contagion/infection mode
once i finish it i may explain why everything is in the place it is and stuff

set in a valley of a planet discovered by the goose, it is an outdoors map without dead ends
i imagine the landscape of the planet to be a swamp, kinda like this reference image taken from borderlands 3
fun fact, assuming both the goose and the crewmate are the same size, this is the comparison between amongus and GGD maps, aso icluding mine there
Interesting... We did some comparisons and adjusted our goose size
We also noticed our guys move a bit different and layout/vision of our characters + our perspective and dead space do kinda have effects on everything.
It's interesting to see this though.
@scenic crag liking the layout! a bit of feedback I'd say is the common plaza would need some hallways and corners to break the space up more, specially since its about the size of the bridge and there are no tasks in there, and I would replace some rooms with new ones, like if its meant to be in a swamp there could be a water filtration room, or a chemical waste disposal area
Yeah, i basically reused the rooms found in both maps, i figured some would not fit the theme like the engine room, which could be replaced by the water filtering station, weapons which could be replaced by a research and investigation room next to security, and the bridge with headquarters. the common plaza should be decorated with stuff like a fountain and a statue, benches and stuff
Since i am no artirst i couldnt give you anything else but the layout, but right now i started a proyect in fortnite creative to show a little bit better how everything looks
And btw having a big open space is kinda the objective of a map set outdoors
An idea, with the modular rooms, at the ends of hallways, would be an custom feature to select random generation of rooms on the base map grid.....As you play more you memorise where tasks are. In this feature every lobby could make a new layout so you canāt rely on muscle memory to go north for a shower, west for reactor, east for shooting etc. , to keep the game fresh once you get to hundreds of hours of game play ...
We are planning on releasing 10-12 maps and multiple themes a year.

it's fine we can make it an artificial park with an artificial pond on a spaceship but the geese have made it so advanced you can't see the difference

quick update on how my map concept, Colony Albatross, made in fortnite is looking like
unfortunately because i am busy i could only do the bridge and communications for now
there are several difficulties im trying to overcome while doing this, the most obvious one is doing hexagons in a game that only allows for squares
and to that one dev, the park in the middle is not that big as it seems
after it's finished i will use it as a pvp map in fortnite lol

2 of our developers are colorblind; so we try to snap an array of colors for these tasks. Many of the ones that rely specifically on it can be refreshed to get a better palette - we will add symbols to them later

How about a Carnivale! Main big top tent with pop ups/caravans & food trucks around it. Reuse many existing zones and tasks (electrical wires, crew quarters, dishes, showers, fluff pillows, batteries, tv tuning etc, hatchery (circus always needs new performers!), sort waste, inventory, cargo bay etc. add in a ferris wheel (task reuse warp speed!) crank the bass at the DJ booth in the main tent. new tasks like make popcorn and candy floss (possibly convert align satellites into whirling the sugar), photo booth? polish the mirror maze? shoot ducks still there but reborn in the style of a carnival sideshow with the metal ducks that fall down.. many opportunities for hiding spots - vent into drains around a carpark, or rubbish bins?
make smaller maps for smaller groups of people cuz i feel like its impossible to play with the minimum amount of people on such huge maps
goose hunt is good to play with 5 people
it's fast and a good way to pass time while waiting for more
Until smaller maps are available, you can try messing with settings. Change roles, task limits, cool downs, speeds... until you find a good match for your group.
it's still kind of a huge map for smaller groups though
try turning tasks up
I can run fun games with 5 or with 16... and it can be fun/fair for each player (given that each player is of similar skill level)

I was just thinking a map could be a school and all the tasks are actually education things ... gym - run around the track, art - have to mix paint, cafeteria - get the meals ready, music - have to Replay a song you heard, math - answer 5 math facts, principals office - get rid of detention slip and erase grades (could be a multiple step mission), class president - collect votes from a few locations and then submit it

Ok so I'm new but I kinda thought of a cool map idea (to me at least). So we're geese in space on a space ship, so we gotta be traveling to and/or from somewhere. So Goose HQ, it can be half techy goose stuff, half goose safe haven with pretty views, lovely ponds and lots of bread crumbs! I just wanted to speak my thoughts

I'm thinking early because realistically planning would probably be starting soon for holidays. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and most games disappoint me when it comes to Halloween updates. Apparently this game is what flashes before my eyes whilst drifting to sleep.
BUT. I had a map idea and I am about to die because I donāt have the technical artistic ability to put this on a piece of paper. I am truly cursed, but most importantly It involves being run by a sentient AI, having certain halls utilizing directionally changing conveyers that force players to go the direction they are currently moving. They can change randomly or at will with buttons (iām not the boss here). 4 warp points, that warp you to a random other warp point, you have no control over where you end up. As well as offset rooms that literally move to different portions of the map like the staircase in Hogwarts, (could definitely be a sabotage OR random map event). And finally, booby trapped rooms similar to cargo bay, but are triggered when certain tasks are done incorrectly or failed on the first try. The only name I can come up with is chaos, and thatās because iām a tired goose. Goodnight everyone 
i can suggest a name, it can be called The Chaos Castle instead

Perhaps an underground mines area? Instead of vents it would be holes in the walls that the ducks could use. Special 'kill' on the map would be to activate a small rumbling and in some locations where holes are in the ground a tentacle would pop up and snack geese away?

I have a map idea that might not make too much sense but whatever, So this map happens because someone turned off autopilot on a ship that geese were on and it crashed onto a planet, the ship crashes into an abandoned laboratory on the planet that was testing the indigenous plants and lifeforms (but it was soon abandoned to an outbreak maybe?) The game would start with lights being off and someone will have a task to go and fix the lights. The ducks instead of having a master code to unlock sabotages they will have to have a lifeform they need to find to access the sabotages and they can release the lifeform after clicking on a sabotage to make it go off. Geese may even have a chance to kill the thing before it gets to the sab. And finally the room where you can die without even being killed by a killer! There will be this room called CONTAINMENT ROOM and if they go in there and doors close ghosts or ducks will press a button somewhere that will open the tube containing a dangerous lifeform and then it would kill the person in it.
So basically, an NPC that is able to walk around and kill people? This is an interesting idea. I like that. I know the next map coming out is another space ship themed map, and after that Victorian England is the next stop, for Duck the Ripper, so definitely not limited to just being in space.

I don't have a full map idea, but I have an addition to the game. I'm not sure if this will work.
Once a certain task is complete, a 30 second (or maybe longer) timer will be put out. After the timer is up, water will be sent into the map, flooding the corridors (the rooms are still dry because they have appliances). Ducks and geese can freely swim, while dodos and vultures have to quickly find swimming gear before the timer is up. If dodos and vultures don't have the gear, they will not be able to swim, and will drown and die when attempting to. Swimming gear is invisible, and other birds won't know they have the gear.
The commands for swimming are also different. A bird will automatically move to where your mouse is at. Every 3-10 seconds, you will have to click your screen / press a keyboard command to continue to move forward. Ducks can also sabotage to toggle with the water on and off, by "Disconnecting Pipes". The birds will have a 30 second timer to prepare for this sabotage (getting swimming gear for dodos and vultures) and trying to fix it. When the sabotage occurs, all birds in corridors will be flushed and die, due to a high rate of water level increase/decrease. After 5 seconds, birds can freely enter the corridors again. The sabotaging of water is permanent, and can only be changed by doing a special task.

The Pyramid of Geesa, A map inside of a desert or pyramid type structure. Seems fairly easy to create because the color scheme would be sandy, beige, with maybe some browns, reds and blues throughout the map. This could also be a big new update. The pyramid of geesa map WITH new Egyptian like cosmetics. Maybe a pharaoh mask, the upper body could have bejeweled garments and such. (Imma be honest, i think this is a great map idea just because well, PYRAMID OF GEESA LIKE COMMON) so im going to repost it daily until somebody from Gaggle tells me to shut up š

It would be confusing AF but possibly fun for the hide and seek game play (or is it goose hunt?) but an Escher-esque map with confusing connecting stairs, or like the Harry Potter thing where stairs can move? Instead of regular sabotages, ducks can make the hallways/stairs move what connects to what. Nothing would be "cut off".
I realize it could be difficult to implement but I think it could be fun if it could.

A map that has a procedural generation gimmick could be interesting.
How it works is that there is a meeting room in the middle. The other rooms are randomly placed and branch off of the meeting room, while interconnecting with each other. The rooms are all squares of the same size and placed on a grid.
The idea is inspired by a board in Mario Party 8 that is randomly generated in a similar way, which was a haunted house.

not sure how ghosts on the mini map would be beneficial... the section you see on the minimap is the section you are at and you can just see that anyway
have you thought about maybe a battle map, teams of 2 lovers spawn in the hall and race to get tasks done to get to the end and fight it out with the others. having an airlock effect after so long in each room so you can't just afk to win.. If you get there too fast you risk dying early, if you get there too slow you risk the vacuum of space,
as in like so if it were 16, it'd be 8 teams of 2 racing to the end

one of the maps i believe it's the black swan or something, the bridge on that map is so unbelievably laggy that I find it impossible to enjoy.

A duck-prison themed map with:
- a jail break sabotage (lose if jail break is not stopped in time).
- an environmental hazard similar to the airlock but the kill stinger is prison ducks get let out of a cell to kill you.
- task to match up a duck sketch with the right duck in a line of mug shots.
- task to pick up a phone, have a conversation with a duck behind glass, and hang up.
- task to scoop and plop on a cafeteria tray the right prison food according to the menu of the day.
- task to find the duck escapee in a dark prison yard similar to the telescope task
But where the "telescope" is a search light
And with map features such as 1-way glass windows.

Legends of the Hidden Gaggle
-A map which also acts as a mode which splits up the previous maps by chosing which maps you want included into cubic like shaped sections by room and hallways, proceduraly generating a randomly generated map layout, this idea actually would work well because of how the maps are laid out in shapes similar to hexigons and connectors, would also be cool to take this concept further by favoriting a map layout you like so you can select it if you want to replay a layout and if players could make there own mixed up map layout combinations, share them and save them
I personally don't think procedurally generated maps would work well in a social deducktion game like this. A significant portion of winning strategies (for both geese and ducks) involves the knowledge of where tasks, vents, cameras, etc are located. If the map layout changes every game, it becomes significantly harder for all players.
-A dangonronpa inspired map/ mode where you start out with small sections of the map unlocked and it expands opening up section by section after each vote
a Greek map would be cool too! goose god statues, cool pillar buildings, hedges, tunnels to underworld?, myth beasts goose art, etc...

-@brave storm checkout a game called project winter, people play it because the entire game is just that, a procedurally generated world where you must gather your bearings not knowing where tasks are, it works very well as an additional optional fun mode, it absaloutley does work, that is that entire game, and you could easily decide to have the map change or keep playing the same layout, thats as easy as a setting

Had a couple thoughts about maps/rolls. One includes crashing one of the ships due to sabotage, and now the ducks have taken control. This would mean 3 New Geese rolls who attempt to retake the ship. Roles could include the assassin (similar to the professional) Maybe a new roll, The Lunatic (Can kill 2 times per round only, but has no cool down after original cool down of 60 sec.), a new roll for the ducks, as they would be the defenders in this case, the Ducktor (medic, raises one duck per game).
This could also work as an alternate reality version, where the maps are literally flipped backwards, and the ducks are the primary and the Geese are the invaders.
Would love feedback on these ideas.

we did consider that if some point, we made more and more maps, and people would stop playing some of the older ones, a way we could revamp them would be to have a setting where they're crash landed

Much has changed with map design, as you can very well tell with Nexus Colony, but current focus right now is to get out of space, and set our sights on Ducktorian England to explore new maps and game modes. After that we plan to explore some anicent ruins. Does that mean we may never go back to space? It's too soon to say, but I would never rule anything out, including updating old maps. That's just not the current focus.

This is an interesting idea for a map that's a bit different than ss goose or black swan.
The location of the vents and the cameras pushes the majority of the duck activity to the center of the map
Which might make it quite difficult for the ducks to get away with anything
I'm also not sure where the airlock button would be but the position of the camera in that room would make it such that it'd have to be ghosts a lot of the time that airlocked players

The restaurant: this map would have a lower floor and a upper floor rooms in the upper floor would be kitchen the dining area the employees only room he restrooms and the party zone. On the lower level There would be the generator the lights walkways security the arcade and the storage facility of course if this is added more rooms would be added later
The catacombs: would contain one floor with rooms such as the armory the lab the reactor the engine room the gas the security the pond the dorms room the kitchen and the digging site. Of course if this was added more rooms would be added

the submarine: on the first round you can choose where to spawn (if there are no random spawns) but after a meeting everybody spawns at the meeting table (again if there are no random spawns) also there are 2 floors and there is a lobby on the first floor and the second floor but you can see people in the lobby on the first floor if you are in the second floor lobby there would also be some modifications to the different areas such as the rec room having bunk beds and the weapons having torpedo's and you could shoot at mines (i know this map idea sucks because it would have to be a completely straight map but idc)
In some cases we're thankful that we can observe before we can invest. We noted a number of things we like about the map and a lot more we didn't enjoy. Although the idea, layout, and mechanics of the map were novel, some of the game play elements don't line up with our design philosophy. š

THE VOLCANIC STATION: Random spot spawn. The area is mostly closed with a dome but in the monitor room it's open to a storm. There might be an oxygen room where there is a big tree. This could be situated in Venus or Mars. On the barriers, you cant see outside due to the heavy storm. The base has a hole above the volcano to vote out people. The final sabotage the duck can do is to open the dome. This means game over. After a meeting or body report, you will spawn around the elimination hole. To go to the monitor room you need to stop at the door and automatically open if you have a task there, being the only safe room for some geese with the tasks- radar check, wind check, temperature study. Once per game a duck can sabotage the door and let them in. In the map there are sleeping pods instead of beds and you have to dust them (I like the beds because that is what astronauts sleep in). There is an emergency room, which is nearest to the elimination hole. This is where the button is. Hope you like it!

after the victorian era, we've been tinkering with an 'adventure' themed set of maps
like a mayan temple or an egyptian city.. and one of the options was a greco-roman styled city
and one of the ideas that was floated was an active volcano
The Labyrinth
A very square map with square and rectangular rooms and corridors in a maze like setup with some dead ends and winding tunnels, these would be ancient ruins from long ago that the geese would be trying to explore and research. And perhaps every so often, either based on a timer or after every meeting, the labyrinth itself would shift, changing what doors were open and what tunnels led to where, with it possibly swapping between two set patterns. There could be lots of rooms, like burial rooms, maybe a chasm with a bridge, a treasure chamber, etc. Sabotages could be different things like activating a trap that would seal the exit (likely situated in the middle where the explorers set up camp), a trap that would cause the chasm and then rest of the area to flood (possibly resulting in the chasm becoming an underground lake instead if stopped before it's too late), and a trap that would cause all torches in the ruins to go out.

So not an idea for a full map, but a possible map hazardous area: lets say the map is some form of base underwater,there could be a section where you would leave the base and be underwater, youd have a breath meter so you gotta do your tasks quick and get back in before you drown.

A map where there a multiple sections of this ship separated by space/water and you can use mini pods to move around independently, with this there could also be a panel like that of cams that shows all pods around the ship
Nexus Colony already kinda does this but segregating the map even more makes it a bit broken up. Part of the game requires us to cross paths often. If movement risk is mitigated we might end up in a situation where it doesn't feel like a social deception game. We can test the idea but it's unlikely to "feel" right.

A moving mega train map would be interesting, one that would at first seem pretty linear but would have stairs up and down to different floors that could hear and see what's happening on the other floors of the stairway right above and right below, but that had floors block vision and sound from other floors. Would be a unique kind of division that afaik no other map in any other game of this type has, besides sorta one tiny part of the airship in Among Us.

How about a map where your on a island. There are little huts around and a wooden dock area. It also turns day night and night to day after every meeting (day raising the tide and night lowering it basically making it impossible to access the dock area during the day). Lights-out sabotage stops the belts entirely. The lights sabo fix is located on the conveyor belt so as soon as it's fixed people immediately start moving away from it.
A body killed on the conveyor belt will continue to travel to the end of the belt.

Not really. Submerged is a full on ship. This is a house. I havenāt really named task ideaās yet but Iām thinking like the squash bugs tasks and Clean Dishes, but also stuff like pick up trash which there will then be a new way to throw the trash away

Completely random idea but why not a zoo map that taking care of alienlife? Some tasks ideas can be refilling water, adding some new beemoths to a display, feeding one of the pets or stocking up pet plushies in a gift shop.
Sabotage could be animal cages being disabled, lights going out as I imagine the map be at night or oxygen going out if it on a alien world. Can even add a tour truck to use to get around and make that a sabotage where it gets stuck or even have a chance to break and you get killed by an animal.
Ducks probably have a mix of vents and hiding things like displays. All I have for it so far.
