Sometimes @timber obsidian and I shake our heads at all the bad habits people bring in from other games... GGD has a higher skill cap IMHO and we're still waiting for people to perfect the play. A couple people to watch who are spectacular at making fun to watch content are Rilla and Cartoonz. They make smart plays and mess around at the same time. 🙂

Just having the option for more tasks I don't think is bad to suit people's playstyles though. Not everyone is going to want to crank them up to 10.
Started playing on June 5th, it is now June 13th. I have unlocked 19 achievements, amassed 71 hours (3 days of playing time) in just 7 days (I won’t count today yet cause I am posting this very early). I’ve met loads and loads of awesome people and made tons, like TONS of new friends. I can easily say this is a great game and I am obviously enjoying it more than your average person. With no direct reference it hit all the spots that it’s counter part, well missed on. I talked to a Beta tester today and they told me about all the new feature rolling through on the next few patches and everything is looking to turn out very well. Great job 👍🏻……..I also decided to return to streaming because of this game and I’ve gone from 164 followers to 207 in just a short amount of time which is insane. Again, awesome job 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

People had an issue with Poo Brown so we replaced it with Teenage Mutant Ninja Goose Green
And then we got rid of the darker orange and put Poo Brown there.
We have now spent a year of development on changing our player colors and we have to prepare for a PR release explaining why/how we choose these colors. IGN is going to ask the names of all of our colors. Should we host a color naming competition?

No we're not a crypto-miner
There may be a conflicting process on your machine; sometimes free-sync or gsync enabled can tell your gpu to run the game at the maximum frames allowed.
We're based in Canada and the US, we would be serving serious jail time for doing that. We also have a certification from Apple and are verified with code-sign.
We can definitely try to help you out to find out why that might be happening though.

So messing around with the proximity chat, and it works generally okay when I use a relatively medium to high-pitched voice, but has really really really really terrible time trying to pick up my voice the lower pitch my voice is

That's kind of unfortunate, considering I have a few friends with my voice or even a lot lower that have similar issues

Soooo, I know it isn't gonna be the most commonly agreed on of importance but um....any chance for addition of pronouns under names during discussion (Depending on name there isn't space for them in the name itself)?? IDK I feel bad when playing with people and using the wrong pronouns, and people misgender me regularly too because of my own voice. Again I know so many people will probably be like "That's a dumb idea and not needed" but liiiike it would be helpful. Especially since y'all have trans pride shirts and it's currently pride month. I figured I'd at least throw it as a suggestion?
Maybe stop referring to them as her/him and use a more inclusive pronoun like they or them?

No I totally do 99.9% of the time, usually only slip when I'm sleepy tbh. I myself USE they/them pronouns. I just get she/her'd a lot and notice people using her and him often to others. Again, not the highest priority and lots of people won't think it matters but still wanted to mention because worst thing can be said is just a "Nah" ❤️
I wasn't saying it won't happen, I recently had the slip up of using the they/them pronoun and shot myself in the foot. We look into all suggestions as a team to work out the best way to implement improvements to the game. We have to also be careful for example hate targeting if we show gender associations. Not everyone is open minded which is a shame, especially in these times.
Absolutely, I've been targeted due to my pronouns on various discord servers before. I also just accept that as part of being authentic. Doesn't mean it doesn't suck, but I find that most LGBTQIA+ people accept that being out isn't always an easy road, just a worth it one. ❤️

While people talk in game, having names change color (the whole name) would be super helpful. Ghosts as well. Maybe a color option and a grey option, so it works for color blind people too?
For the discussion have their names change color, the mic symbol is very hard to spot. Or for discussion maybe make the whole window of that player change color (same: a color option and a grey option). That would help immensely 😊
General orientation
If you're a ghost and you're not near the other ghosts, let the speaking names appear on the side with a pointer so you know where it's coming from. (Left right up down etc like with the arrows for the tasks)

There was a mod for that other game which lit up a border around each player's rectangle, in the player color, when they were speaking. Super easy to see who's talking. I struggle to see the little icon in GGD meetings.

Oh, cool. I just thought two quality of life things would be super nice for them.
A push to talk option and some sort of audio or visual cue for someone leaving a room would be nice as it can be hard to notice if you aren't using cameras.

Is there a possibility of a timer setting being added to "Goose Hunt" gamemode?

Even a few seconds per player will tip the balance in the power of the one or the other significantly

I will say the temperature task, as someone who struggles with dyslexia.. I never remember if the temperature goal is at the top or the bottom. Is there any UI changes that can be made to show the targeted temperature off to the side and maybe a little bigger, and then maybe the current temperature above the visual vertical bar?
I don't suffer from dyslexia and that one throws me off sometimes
Not sure how Dine & Dash is supposed to be played, but you give a lobby 10 second kills cool down and the game doesn't even make it to sample cool down ending. It's just everyone spamming kill button for 40 seconds.

We will be moving toward a new way to set up game hosting as our player base grows. Right now we're locking players to lowest latency until we have better service side infrastructure to allow for this.
The more support we get the faster we can get here 🙂 As a free to play game, we're actually already running as lean as we can get. Moving to this system will become financially viable in the near future.

I can confirm that the Atom Blaster, despite the description, does not leave no evidence.
in my opinion the default movement speed is a bit too fast, a lot of people just use it because it's default but it makes the game feel like it needs to be rushed.
if you host your own game, you can always set it to slow

Finding bodies to eat is essential for the vulture to win, but it isn’t for the dodo, so I feel like that isn’t necessary, but that might just be me

Perhaps allow the vulture a long-cooldown ability to "detect" a body, if there is no body the skill is greyed out.
Having weird task issues in game. Someone said they couldn't get TV antenna to move after reopening and closing it. I couldn't place the bottom right box on the storage task for the first two tries but it let me on the third.
Dodo should give full credit for a quick win game, even if short, as long as its not bugging...
Please remove the ready up feature, or allow the host to force start if the majority are ready. So many people hold game hostage from starting by not readying, esp if the host hasn't set the setting EXACTLY the way the player wants them. If they are gonna be that picky they should host their own games and not be able to hold lobbies hostage. The ready feature makes getting into a game take so much longer than necessary.

Yes but if you aren't the host you're still being held hostage. Took over 15 mins to get into one game that actually started yesterday because of people not readying. Even when you do host and kick them more who don't ready join it just seems like an unnecessary feature. Other than that I love everything else about the game so far once I actually get into a match to play!
It would be worse if you joined and auto started without knowing what game mode/rules you were playing with.
The host has the ultimate ability to control the start of the game

Not really a bug but it just looks bad - if you do a multi-part task during a sabotage the second/third part of the task shows up below the sabotage on task list and definitely feels like it should keep them from mixing.
and more importantly it bugs me to death to see this.
Was gonna say, Among Us has those issues too. If you do a multi-part task and a sabotage is called, the arrow leading you to the next part is still there. But then I remembered GGD doesn't use arrows to guide you to the next part

what is the new gamemode called dine and dash?
Two teams. Strategy and trust. Morphling ducks vs falcons and vultures. Ducks need to find ducks & prove themselves by morphing and then win by hunting out the falcon and stopping vultures from eating bodies and reducing the timer. Falcons and vultures win by surviving the timer.
If you can find a group of people who want to play this way... I find that most people just want to kill everything until the game ends

Can you stop the application from taking control of the microphone volume, it's really screwing up the volume
In our next patch we are changing our entire audio set up to help people who allow software to take control of their hardware (this is a setting)
This could be rooted in the hardware profile inside of the driver itself 😦

most people have the music off. When you play for 4 hours, that's the first thing to go
^^^ This is personal preference, the music is just humming ambient. I can take away the music and add sfx but some players do the opposite 😦
I spend a lot of time in the menu, alt tabbed, waiting for a lobby code, since often you don't have time to start the game when a code appears. So yeah, music is off!
I'd like to drop a small suggestion. The ability to decide the audio output for voice chat to another device, similar to how we can choose the input for our mic. This would be important to those who want to record multiple audio tracks allowing to separate game audio from chat audio, providing more flexibility on post editing.
For example, I personally record for YouTube, have my mic on 1 track, game audio on a 2nd track and Discord audio on a 3rd track. GGD has proximity chat built in which means game and chat audio has to be on the same track.

Just a suggestion, but it would be great if there was a way to set a different region than your own as default. There are never any games in my region during the hours I am online, and I have to switch all the time to a different region, would just be great to set that as default instead of having to switch all the time. 🇦🇺 Edit to add: or at the very least show ALL regions of a particular language on the one page. There really dont seem to be enough public games to have them all split up into regions.
They will work on a different way of setting up game hosting as the player base grows. At the moment, as a free to play game, they are doing as well as they can. The more support the game gets, the faster this change can happen ^^

Is there a way to have chat pop up in public games? VC people tend to forget about text chat and we go unheard ingame.
I would create a text chat lobby if you're finding people ignoring you.
We do make notifications but how we do popups aren't a bad idea

When you make a purchase through steam, steam will first authenticate the transaction and place your funds in your steam wallet. Once the funds are there, attempt to purchase the pack or gold coin bundle again. Restart your client, and your purchased items should be on your account.

Once upon a time, there were six geese on a ship. Two geese were lovers, one was some type of goose, then we had a dodo, a morphing duck, and a vulture. The non lover goose died first. There was a bit of a back and forth on who the duck was, as a dodo was mudding the waters. Yet eventually the truth came out yet the lovers and the vulture skipped voting as they all wanted a win. The lovers hid in a corner as the duck chased the vulture around, yet eventually ventured out to find out if they were fathers or if the lover they'd shared a corner with had cheated them out of an egg. As they rushed towards medical to find their answers they were given a scare by a rushing dodo, but continued on their way while breathing sighs of relief. Yet as they went into medical at last the vulture ran by screaming for help with no duck in sight. Thinking themselves lucky the lovers found that they were indeed fathers and planning to sneak back to their lovely corner in reactor.
The moment the first lover stepped out of the medical room the duck ran up and sliced their head right off their feathery body, and the remaining lover instantly pierced their handy katana into their heart to accompany their lost lover. All the geese were dead.
The duck ran off to look for another victim, no doubt pleased with themselves, and not a moment later the vulture rushed down the corridor with the dodo hot on their heels. The vulture snapped up a corpse, yet the dodo reported the remainder before they could eat the next.
A meeting was called, the members three. A dodo, a duck, and a vulture they be. They paused in thought, all knowing who the others were and realizing that the geese were gone. Curiously they all teamed up, voting the duck off!
Three dead geese, won the game as a confused ghost flock.

guys the new update is awesome but the sound is horrible. for the most part its distorted. its not for all as lotus is experiencin but it is there a lot.

The audio in this test is not as bad as in live games but it is still noticeably distorted compared to the previous version of the game. When multiple people are talking in live games the distortion combines with the background noise of others to then cause the audio to be significantly worse.
Feedback regarding pigeon as it is presented in prospective birds: With the clause requiring that all living players be infected in a single round, their win condition is stamped out by different issues outside of their control: in the early game there's nothing to do because any attempt at progress is wiped clean when any body is found or any meeting is called, in lategame (with none voted out) the ducks have a numbers advantage and they'll simply win before the pigeon can wait out their cooldown enough times to tag everyone, in lategame with only 1 duck remaining, their win condition still winds up being wiped clean during every meeting but this poses the most apparently-fair scenario for a pigeon win due to the mutual benefit that the duck has for bodies not being found quickly (with the duck having the advantage due to having a kill button), in an endgame with no ducks alive, the geese can metagame by keeping track of how long the round is going and calling an emergency meeting multiple times to wipe pigeon progress clean and then win on tasks.

What I dislike since the new update is, that i cant see the public roomnames, since I really enjoyed playing in a specific room. The same people played in that room, and I dont have any way of contacting those people. I mean there is literally no reason to name a room now, when noone sees it anyway. Moreover, I really liked the option to see were the server was located. I also think the ping is glichted now, previously when I played on us server the ping was about 100-200 now it is says 4000 ping, I doubt that is true. Voice used to sound way better before the update too. Something that is better now is that both maps run smooth now, before the update one of the maps used to run really laggy.

Please remember we are in the beta/early access phase for GGD. This will mean several different configurations and layouts within GGD. We listen to everyone's feedback and we are trying to address any issues identified with the past versions that have already been released to make a better well rounded product for launch.
For the Spy role, I feel it would be better to put the role under the name instead of rename the person. I mainly use names to identify people and I have been confused who people are talking about or struggled to call someone out, especially if I have to use colours and say grey/dark grey / light grey.
We tried out Dine and Dash in 7 & 8 player games last night. Hilariously chaotic fun. A game mode with a timer and no meetings or tasks makes for very fast paced games and with localized chat encourages frantic collaborating among the red team or quick deception by the blue team. It's also a good fallback game option for when it feels like there's too few people to play a regular game with 2 ducks. Nice work!
Question: Is the blue team limited to a single Falcon in 6+ player games or is there some player count where blue team gets a 2nd Falcon?
with enough players, the blue team gains a vulture that decreases the timer time by consuming bodies. Glad you're enjoying it

Btw, the in-game description says the blue team starts with a vulture and gains a falcon in games with more than 6 players, so I assume that in a 6 player game, it's 5 ducks vs 1 vulture and the vulture depends on ducks killing each other if the vulture wants to eat or else the vulture just has to run and hide. Or is the in-game description wrong and Blue team starts with a Falcon and gains a vulture at more than 6 players as you said?

I really like how we can have the compass/map out during discussion time, its Super helpful when people havent fully memorized the room names on the map,
however, from what Ive seen, most groups have way more voting time than discussion time, so it would be Really nice if that feature where u can look at the map during the meeting would also be there for Voting and not Just Discussion.
This has been recommended and then requested to be removed because people accidentally click on people to vote instead of the map 🙂
I personally like making the discussion time longer than voting for my lobbies. I think it just comes to personal preferences, I know people like Herbert would rather have both discussion and voting be 1 second long each. I think having the map disappear definitely adds a layer of strategy to potentially run the clock out before people can get a firm grasp on everyone's position. If you'd like the discussion time longer, you can either politely ask the host to increase it, for the purposes of viewing the map longer, or you can just create your own lobby to get the timers exactly how you'd like them.
I would like an additional option that allows only the host of the meeting to talk for x amount of time, and a seperate adjustment for buttons and body report discussions.

You are only silenced for the duration of the first meeting, which is fine. If you are silenced longer than that, it is a bug

I also prefer much longer discussion times because if you accuse someone, and have a short discussion time, people tend to immediately latch on to them before they can defend themselves. I've found longer discussion times can lead to people actually getting to talk before everyone votes!
Though wouldn't mind maybe a "hurry" button like in push the button 😂 if everyone hits it, it immediately would go to vote.
Also for the map, what if the compass was replaced with a circle showing like the mini map, not as much, just maybe the room name and that you're there? Just more zoomed in?
I personally will keep an image of a new map saved on my phone in case I need it when voting begins though

It'd be nice if "confirmable" tasks were removed from mimic's list. If someone sees you do cams/intercom that's an instant out on you making one of the hardests roles even harder to achieve through the mid->late game
As a mimic you just have to be careful not to do hardclear tasks in front of people you’re not sure are geese 🤷♀️

You have to do it in front of no one, because geese WILL clear you, which outs you as mimic to the others. Its not exactly a favorable situation having hardclears when you need to be suspicious to buy the trust of the ducks.
Well if you trust them, tell them not to hard clear you for all to know

Sounds like you want to simultaneously seem like a duck and a goose! Sounds tricky to navigate, but i'd make the argument that this dynamic is part of the skill cap of the role, as opposed to something we need to balance by altering the mimic task pool
It would be really nice to have more resolution options. I don't like playing games in full screen, but when I exit full screen the game still takes up the entire screen.

My group has gotten to meta-sus players that stand still when approaching mid-late game since opening the sabotage menu forces a duck to stop walking and most geese have zero reason to ever stop moving if they aren't on a task or using ship systems like security or intercom, which are both verifiable. Any hope to dispel that restriction in a way that doesn't break parity between mouse-only users and people who use keyboard?
Probably not. Maybe do your sabotages while faking tasks?
it'd be pretty suspicious of me to still have tasks in mid-late game to begin with. I usually rely on my dead partner if it gets to that point to mask it.

Hi, this game is really amazing. But I sometimes find it a little hard to play due to the fact that I'm new and I'm not used to video games overall.
I was just thinking of a "beginner mode" switcher in the settings that changed the UI by highlighting the tasks area with yellow and have a little yellow arrow for the nearest task (as in among us), what do you think of this?

You can also learn the tasks and maps under explore mode at your own pace. Open the game, create a private game and select explore at the top of the screen.

I have never heard anyone having an issue with this, and the only thing that slows me down when using keys is getting caught on every wall ever x)
It only seems faster because it's more accurate. You dont have to stop to turn or turn a wee bit you move more smoothly giving perceptions of speed
People using a mouse are able to run diagonally and corner more easily since you can move your character in any direction where as WASD only lets you move in 8 directions.

I very much enjoy your game, along with a group of friends I play with. Passing the minimal bugs, we enjoy the laughs we all get when playing together, and we love the change of pace from other "competing" games.
We fine the roles hilarious (I'm Canadian so it's extra funny to be Canadian Goose) and I couldn't be more happy with the frog outfit, hilarious!
The latest updates that changed the game selection, to the new roles, was brilliant in my opinion and we look forward to seeing this game grow, and flourish with new updates and changes!
I'll be sure to leave a steam review now, as I've played enough hours to easily say its been a very positive experience.

I love this game but, I feel as if morphling should 1. lose their sample when the sample dies (or have the ability to trash the sample with a cooldown reset) and 2. they should not keep the morphed pet after demorph, when they randomly change pets halfway through the lobby its a big giveaway
So I was just playing a game and the morphling's pet doesnt change to the other player's pet they morphed into so it as a dead giveaway and hurt the experience. also i agree with the suggestion above of sample dying after the person dies

I really like how it works now (minus the pet bug of course). Even if you look at it as a disguise or a biological morphing, you would still have the disguise or the original DNA drawn from the source and wouldn't need the original to be alive to be able to use it. I think it's fine as it is 🙂

I see this issue as more of a part of the skill cap of the morphling. It's an advanced role, and if you walk up to someone, sample them, and then kill them, it's very likely you've made some bad choices.
I can see that, I still think a trash the sample feature would be nice, especially since the sample persists over rounds and currently requires you hiding in a corner till the morph expires in order to clear preventing you doing anything

Wait, morphling sample persists after meetings? So you get one sample and that's it? So you or your partner can't kill the first player you sampled?
You have a sample until you use it. You can morph into a dead player. If you want to get rid of your sample you can hide in a room and use the sample
This is a great mechanic! So, new sample every time.
The host of the lobby can set the active special roles. If you are the host, be sure to enable the special roles you want into the game through the computer in the center of the lobby.

You can't infect the same person twice. In my opinion, a visual indicator would make it too easy for the pigeon to win
We were able to isolate the reason for the error. Thank you kindly. We will be fixing it tonight and patching it for tomorrow morning (fingers crossed).
Is there any potential changes made to the Pigeon role and people you've infected? I know you can't re-infect them but it seems like a lot to keep track of who you infect each round.
Would be super helpful if people's names turned to like a yellow or something if they've been infected for the round.

It takes a little bit to get the hang of it, but once you're used to the task, it doesn't really take that long. There are plenty that takes longer imo - though you are very exposed to bypassing murderers...

Love the new two-part map! There's so much I love about it! With that said, though, there is one thing I don't like. When doing tasks on the docking areas, there's no warning that the shuttle is on its way, and if you stop the task midway, it resets. It makes it so that I don't want to do the task unless I'm already dead, since it's just a huge risk, and the odds of successfully pulling off the task without dying is minimal (mind you, only played it in 16-people lobbies, where there is basically constantly people going back and forth). I would like either some kind of warning that the shuttle is in transit, or, preferrably, that the task didn't reset, so I could do it partway, step aside and then continue it when I don't think that there is coming a shuttle. Or maybe I'm just missing something?

The shuttle involves a little risk that makes the game fun for most people, but if you go do your task as soon as the shuttle sets off, you should have plenty of time to get the task done and get out of the way, even if the shuttle goes straight back 
okay so i realised kind of a problem, not so much a problem... BUT... In nexus colony, when the sabotage is called in comms on the right side of the map, we physically could not make it over in time. By the time we made it to the panel, it had like 2 seconds left... and that task as you know, is quite complex. It's impossible to do in 2 seconds... so basically, if you somehow know that everyone is on the left side of map, it's guaranteed easy win for the ducks... ?
Oh yeah I had that happen to me too. We got stuck in decon too long to actually even get to the sab task as well because it took a good long time to get to the right side of the map.
^ yeah and having to use the shuttle. There isn't enough time, kind of a flaw...
I forget how long the sab is but I personally think it should be upped by about 20-30s to give a bigger room of error/less luck based.
i feel like the only way to get around that is to get lucky and have someone on the right side of the map (which is not so common later game) OR have a mechanic...
Yeah. I think ducks could just easily wait until no one is on the right side, then call it while the shuttle is on their side.

Regarding the shuttle, the little blue force field will turn off when the shuttle approaches. If you react quickly you have plenty of time to get off the platform before being squished.
I'll have to play that map some more, and try to see if I can see that. Because I didn't see it at all when I was playing, despite looking for it since I thought that would've been a natural solution

I feel like Birdwatcher should not have their vision limited with the lights going off. If you can see through walls, you should be able to see in the dark. Especially because their vision is already impaired.

It's a pure chaos inducing neutral role, and that's great to have
Roles are assigned randomly, i've only been birdwatcher once in the 12 hours or so i've played since the new update was released

This has been brought up a few times, as far as the mechanic goes, pigeon isn't supposed to be super easy, and given that your only real task is to infect people it's on you to remember who you have or haven't infected. Also you do have an indicator, you can't infect someone twice
We don't have any plans to add a visual indicator that someone has been infected, for either side. For the non-pigeons, it'd likely be too strong. You'd be able to identify the pigeon if they infected you. There is also a risk-reward gameplay dynamic where players have to judge whether or not it's been too long since a meeting has been called, and whether the pigeon has died.
We think the pigeon might be too strong with an indicator. Whether or not a player has been infected is the only part of the skill cap of the pigeon that determines their actions. Remembering who you've infected is part of being a pigeon, and worst case scenario, you can walk next to them again. The pigeon can only infect someone once during before the next meeting is called.

We can make it easier for touch screens but we can't detect if you don't have a mouse on PC/Desktop
So difficulty scaling for bug smashing is not something we can really do.

I think it would be a great idea to make it possible to give host to someone else. Instead of it being random if you leave
I think the problem with this is that the original host connects to whichever server has the lowest ping. So when you transfer it over, you're potentially putting someone with a much higher ping to that server in charge of a lobby which could cause latency issues for more people in the lobby.

But when the original host leaves, doesn't it move on to whoever has been in the lobby the longest? Or does it detect who has a low ping and assign host that way?
I know earlier on it was assigning host to the next lowest ping... things may have changed over the past couple months tho.

I do not like the cooldown on the venting as a Mechanic Goose. It limits his ability in a frustrating manner, which in the words of @latent arrow, makes it an Anti-Fun role.
The mechanic is not meant to have infinite survivability. The cooldown allows for the mechanic to be hunted down

i notice a lot of people saying the flashlight style vision on the birdwatcher makes it less enjoyable to play too. I think it might be better if they have larger vision but the through-wall vision was part of their action button ability, might even it out more.

I like the idea of the flashlight vision, with a few tweaks though. longer, still narrowed vision, but able to see in the dark. either full vision in the dark (like a duck) or full vision when ability use.
Next time just write their name without using the @

I know it's a complete revamp of the end game screen, but it'd be really cool if either in the end screen or the egg bonus screen to reveal all the roles of the players. I know dead people can see the roles but for those that live in the game until the end it would be a nice quality of life and very unimportant addition.
I think the egg screen might be the better option though since user input moves to the next screen so people can study it as much as they desire.

I'm not sure how feasible it is, but perhaps there could be an AFK mode or something? Like something you can toggle or click on so the game knows you're still there. For the people who need to go to the bathroom and take longer than the game is willing to wait.
I left my keyboard last night, and then I came back to the game starting/disconnecting me from being away too long. I was exhausted as it was, so no sweat, but there are probably others who run into the same issue and maybe don't want to have to wait to rejoin their friends.
Is there any thought as to giving a visual indication to fellow ducks about professional kills? Guessing it's thought to keep it with zero indication?

and if they can't, it's up to you to gauge whether or not going afk is 'worth' it
if you're there, you're not afk. you're essentially asking for a button that you can hit when you're afk to indicate that you're not afk... and that doesn't make much sense to me
Maybe a 5 minute timer in game/lobby is good, but a 10 minute one once your tasks are completed in an active game?
10 minutes could be whole rounds! I don't really see a good reason to cater to people that need to go afk for ten minutes

if you desperately need to go to the washroom or your house is on fire, i strongly recommend you deal with that
but you not being able to play a few rounds of GGD is an okay trade-off
If youre not ready, why would you hit the ready button? Unless the lobby disbands its not going anywhere

I definitely have had friends finish tasks in a private game, and step away to go to the bathroom, and get dc'd during the active game before they got back. Kicking them from an active game when their tasks are completed just seems pointless. I know for me when my office was downstairs, 5 minutes would be an impossible timer to get back to, just to take the shortest bio break possible.

Just frustration, and inconvenience. I don't share in their frustration, just sharing their frustration. Public games it makes all the sense in the world, private games, timing out doesn't make a whole lot of sense other than when someone goes AFK holding the game up (aka living or w/ tasks)

I'm playing a game, something comes up, and I have to run out... so I boot up mobile, it auto logs me out of the PC, and into the mobile app, and keeps me in the active game. Or will this be a one or the other type thing, where you can only switch between rounds?

And obviously switch back again to PC if I need to. I've utilized this feature so many times, as I prefer playing on PC, but then I'm making dinner, and I know I won't be back in the allotted turn time, so I switch to mobile, cook for a bit, and then log back into the pc all within the same active game. It's a nice QoL feature, but not a deal breaker... as I've done 12+ hour GGD streams without ever getting booted from a game. I'm just efficient with my time. 😉
I meant more for the game to do so--the game asks if you're still connected after a certain amount of time, and if you're still, say, going to the bathroom and aren't clicking that, it kicks you out?
That's what I meant. If you're gone for a long time, the game kicks you out. It's not a matter of other players waiting for you if you get kicked out just because you had to use the bathroom.
If it's not something you wanna add, that's fine! It was just a suggestion--like I said, it wasn't a big deal for me. I just didn't want someone else to suffer because they dared to wash to their hands for a slightly longer time.

Not sure if this has been suggested, but maybe a highlight for who you are targeting if you have a kill skill. I know misfires happen a lot because people can't tell who they're targeting.
I feel like misfires are a great aspect of the game. I like to hide behind other players when I know I'm being targeted for this exact reason.
Tonight, I was a goose and the sheriff kept trying to kill me and misfired 3 times and ALL 3 times accidentally killed either a duck or a neutral. Luck = 10.
I feel Herbert will consider this "Anti-Fun" (he loves that word) because killing the wrong player is frustrating.
We all give Herbert a hard time, but truth be told, Herbert is someone who has the best idea of what is good for the game. Does that mean he's always right? No. But he is a lot of the time. Part of the reason this game is as good as it is, is because it offers so much counter play. Imagine this scenario: You're the dodo, someone outs you, they don't want to vote you out at the meeting, for obvious reasons, so they convince the sheriff or the vig to take care of you. Without people having the chance to misfire, you now have the sheriff hunting you down. There's no room for counterplay anymore. Without target confirmation, you can go hide in a group of people and hope the sheriff accidentally kills a goose and gets themselves killed, so you still stand a chance of winning. Sure being the sheriff and misfiring is frusterating, but you just have to be more careful with your shots. Being the intended target, that survived the misfire feels extremely satisfying. That's the check balance system that counterplay offers to the game, that makes it fun to keep coming back to.

I feel that scenarios where you're glad for a misfire (this includes duck misfires, not just goose) are much less common than scenarios where misfires are apreciated.
Also. you can still cause the sheriff/vig/ducks to kill the wrong person even with an indicator. It happens all the time in Among Us. I'm not saying they need to be able to "Lock on" as it were.
Taking your scenario and adding a target indicator would not change much. Running around other players, keeping them between you and the person coming after you, and hiding inside of their body are all ways to counterplay someone targeting you.
Also, If someone outs you as dodo, you're not gonna get voted for, therefor you can't win anyways, so what does it matter if you're killed?
Finally (for now) I agree Herbert is an asset to the Gaggle team, but that doesn't make him any less of an asshole XD
He's does a great job keeping the game balanced, but it's definitely frustrating (and therefore anti-fun) having him shutdown your ideas
I've won many a games as an early outted dodo, by having a sheriff misfire on me, and then I report the sheriff and claimed to have killed him cause he was after me. Always room for counter play if you're good at talking your way out of things.
I don't think Herbert is intentionally trying to make you feel frusterated, but think of how many suggestions get thrown at Herbert, and he tries to be active and engage with everyone. He tries to make the respsonses fun, personal, and unique. Sarcasm is very difficult to detect through text, but let me reassure you, Herbert is never shutting down ideas to be mean, he's being playful, and always has the game's best interest in mind. This game is a lot less serious than Among Us, and I have personally found people get WAY less frusterated playing this game. I understand being very passionate about this game, as I am myself, and I'm very thankful that the devs are extremely interactive and are willing to joke around and treat us all like friends. I sometimes forget I've only known them for a few months, because the way we are all able to joke around with each other, makes them feel like lifelong friends.
Maybe a way to give someone host when the lobby's host leaves so people don't want to give it to a person they want to be host?

You can still exit the game window and toggle between other applications which is useful. Changing the size of the game window might be implemented later, but it's not a priority atm ^^
@wary otter some people play at higher resolutions and only want a windowed version of the game. Window resizing may happen in the near future.
I like Gaggles discord server cause they're active. How I know that is they respond to the community, update us on game updates, and like to mess around with roles because the changed my role to goose even though I reacted to the duck role. 10/10 server.

Given how the pigeon works currently, they basically force the geese and ducks to hit the button periodically which isn't really a fun mechanic.
Would it be plausible to implement random areas on each map that are randomized for each player in a game that they can go to in order to "clean" themselves, wiping off any potential pigeon infections?
To counter balance for the pigeon, maybe rounds wouldn't reset the infection.
I suppose after you use your individual cleaning area, it would consume it and you would be assigned a new cleaning area on the map.
Or maybe even a cooldown similar to sabotages/send signal style stuff?
Also to help the pigeon keep track of how many they have infected, maybe every time someone cleanses a little notification pops up on their mini-map a la technician.
That would make it even harder for a pigeon to win though...
Well the counter balance would be people wouldn't know if they're infected if they're going to clean themselves and it wouldn't reset each round instead.
But yeah, just an idea. 
I don't think it's a terrible idea, but at the same time players would just camp their clean area and wait to go into it as soon as someone came near them. And then camp the next spawn, after they were cleaned.
We don't have any plans to add a visual indicator that someone has been infected, for either side. For the non-pigeons, it'd likely be too strong. You'd be able to identify the pigeon if they infected you. There is also a risk-reward gameplay dynamic where players have to judge whether or not it's been too long since a meeting has been called, and whether the pigeon has died.
We think the pigeon might be too strong with an indicator. Whether or not a player has been infected is the only part of the skill cap of the pigeon that determines their actions. Remembering who you've infected is part of being a pigeon, and worst case scenario, you can walk next to them again. The pigeon can only infect someone once during before the next meeting is called.
But if the clean areas are spread apart and random for each player, then that splits the players anyway which leaves you vulnerable for the duck. Plus if you add a cooldown even that doesn't let that work either, no?
I'm just thinking of this situation. All my tasks are finished. All your tasks are finished. Our cleaning areas are on the opposite sides of the map. I wait near mine. You wait near yours. Someone approaches you, who you suspect is the pigeon.. when they come up to you, you wait for them to leave, and cleanse yourself. They then go hunt me down, and have to infect me, and then I cleanse myself. The pigeon could get into a position where they're endlessly caught in a cycle of never able to win.
Yeah, there's definitely potential on either way it could go. 
yeah id second this idea. something so that the button isnt called every 15 seconds. otherwise you have to make the button cool down really long which causes its own deal of problems
the emergency button cooldown is a setting the host can set
There can be certain quests tab where you can open and find quests that are available. You can do them to get coins/gold coins. (A new possible way for gold coins? 👀 )
These quests can be daily/weekly.
ex:
Sabotage 5 times in one game. - Reward: 1 Gold Coin
Complete 35 tasks. - Reward: 50-100 Silver Coins
Get 3 dodo wins. - Reward: 3 Gold Coins
I think that repeatable achievements that reward any gold coins would just encourage farming groups that e.g. take turns voting the dodo out rather than playing the game.

Recently just finished a few rounds with some friends, and recently bought myself the founder's pack to the game. I am truly enjoying the honks and quack-ups and can't wait to see more come about from this gaggle! 
Less of a feedback, but how do you guys feel about the spy + assassin combo in proximity chat?
They can get 2 free untraceable kills the first 2 meetings without having to kill beforehand
just tried to play a create a match, cant change the number of ducks... always remains at 1
They are aware that this is a very strong combo, and will likely change something if this turn out to be too op. So far many lobbies are far too chaotic to make full use of the combo
But they're keeping an eye on it 
Also, while two free kills sounds sweet, it can be extremely advantageous to sit on one of the shots, as the geese will be scared to claim roles (to clear themselves) as long as the assassin still has a shot, and to keep it for a particularly difficult individual later on in the game ^^
There is duck number limits at certain lobby sizes, rough guide is 1 duck for every 5 players
Wouldn't it require 3 meetings minimum since the first meeting is when the spy duck would first use their ability and then they have to find the person they spied on in-game and then they have to find the assassin duck alone to tell them in secret? Planning all that out probably means they slow down on killing the normal way. Plus, the spy may end up finding a role that they don't need to take out right away like Dodo or Vulture or just a regular goose that the assassin can't target.
This did almost happen in one of our games last night where the spy found my role but by the time they met up with the assassin, I was already in the room with another person anyway so the spy tried and failed a double kill and got themselves and their assassin voted out for a Goose win. So didn't pan out.
I think perhaps an effective way to play a spy / assassin combo would be as a finisher by killing and spying as normal and learning the roles of 2 others and keeping them alive. The spy holds their vote back until most people have voted then announces the two roles they know allowing the assassin to kill once at the end that meeting and then again at start of the next meeting. If the ducks call a sabotage and kill on cooldown and report, this creates opportunity for a 3 to 4 player kill spree to win the game before they can be voted off but requires a bit more coordination.
This happened last night for us. A mechanic announced themselves locally to a group of people that happened to include the assassin and the assassin kept that knowledge and let them live until the game came down to 2 ducks v 3 geese and then the assassin took their shot for the win. 
Btw, assassin duck is a fantastic addition to the game!

So, my concerns with the assassin and spy are slightly different than some players might have
im not exactly worried that it's too overpowered, as whether or not there's a spy, the assassin can only kill two with assassinations
My issue is more or less that the dynamic is changed. In terms of the effect on overall gameplay, the assassin isn't meant to necessarily be a badass role that blows through geese. It's meant to stop the overt role claiming and to force players to be more careful with how obvious they play. You can't/shouldn't just jump into vents in front of a bunch of players. The dynamic for the assassin having to solve roles to get rid of them is also lost.
Was there ever a discussion to have the entire lobby during a meeting be quiet except for the one that reported the body automatically for at least 5-7 seconds? Because it's not always possible for the reporter to have the chance to speak.
If this was implemented, it will help solve a lot of issues of people overtalking one other during the beginning of the meeting once and for all.

honestly most of the goose roles were overpowered before the assasin came out. i had little roles enabled and people always complained to me abt it. now that the assasin is out the whole game is balanced again. for me the assasin is what solved the problem of roles being too op

The meta will constantly evolve. With Assassin you will see people claiming false roles trying to get the assassin to shoot wrong. Or even the assassin claiming a role then shooting whoever counters the claim.

People are only asking for an indicator, not a lock on. Misfires will still happen as bodies move around causing the targeting to change which is already what happens but invisibly.

Sabotaged lights panel - feedback from a player who is colourblind - they cannot tell when the switches are red or yellow - is it possible to add a symbol when the yellow /fixed switches are lit up so they know when they switches are back to 'normal'
I feel like overall a colourblind mode for the entire game would be great
A few of the developers are actually color blind, so they tend to build the game around this without having to bake in a feature. All the colors for the geese were very carefully selected, as well as many shapes and indicators on tasks involving colors, to include the best experience for everyone. I know the doors task in security has a white spot that grows when the correct color (green) is selected. I'm curious if lights have a similar white spot on them.

I have a small amount of red colorblindness and the pink/red(?) Geese have confused me many times a lot of times to the point of incorrectly killing someone.
Which has led to me getting roasted in ghost chat for not being able to tell the two apart on multiple occasions

The medium in theory is fun and cool but it's contributes nothing to the balance of the game.
It makes it very very difficult to balance once you have a medium.

We noticed a lot of instances where someone would just join, before seeing any of the game/features and immediately start. We decided that a ready up feature was necessary also to prevent people from going afk during the game. People who tend to leave their computer for lengthy periods of time shouldn't ever make it into your game.

yes because you shouldn't know if you killed the mimic until the game is over

I've found the ant task irritating, as I can never find which part of the flipper is supposed to smoosh them.

i think at some point the main screen got rearranged, and its harder to find the quit application button (unless im blind). its hidden under settings and i keep mixing it up with signing out of the account. Itd be nice if a close application button was on the home screen
