This generally happens when a lover calls a meeting while the other lover is inside the pelican's stomach. The meeting kills the eaten lover which then kills the meeting calling lover.

Its not as bad on eagleton with the sewers, but on bloodhaven and the carnival, ducks don’t have a lot of escape options

It's giving people a cross map teleport for one

On the goose side, it's giving the engineer a super powerful ability.. because if you're the engineer, you automatically know to vote out anyone else you see go into the vent, really hampering the deduction element

The ducks can hide in there forever, meaning that you open up the possibility for trolling

But beyond that, it's possible that someone like the pigeon or the pelican will have a great difficulty winning

I think you're right in that it takes away this element where ducks can be stress free for a period while they get to look for a victim, but i'm somewhat a fan of the ducks having to plan their kills a little more carefully

What about forbidden passage in ancient sands and jungle temple? They're pretty good because ducks can use them for escape or ambush opportunities.

Sure pigeon and mimic can see someone through the fog but I feel like you should add the feature where it's invisible to the ducks and if they enter they can see who's inside to prepare ambushing pigeon or mimic inside the smoke
