There's about 12 ways a Canadian will not be auto reported. Unfortunately, several of them rely on disconnections, but there are multiple legitimate ways to avoid it
My personal favourite is convincing the sheriff to shoot the Canadian. Two free kills plus you can kill any witness.

Now that China has granted new game licenses we are unfortunately in a position where a lot of our platform is on Google. The government of China requires us to share information of our users and voice communications through their servers/services. Google unfortunately does not comply with this mandate.
As a result, playing from China may be difficult or even impossible until they change their position on how Google protects privacy of their users.
We may at some point create a china specific version of our game that complies with all of their rules, ie. No blood from the birds, no bones showing, no extreme violence, and most importantly access to the user data and voice communication.
Until such time you may use a VPN at your own risk.

I will definitely say that public rooms are the best place to find rooms with no-mics. If you want to listen into people speaking English, you can probably do so in public rooms.
The private rooms listed in the LFG channels will accept some people who don't use microphones, but it's more common that people will want you to speak.
There's also a problem that in rooms where people talk during the meetings, they will often neglect to check the chat. Some will, some won't; it's a bit of a crapshoot depending on the lobby.
I would also encourage you to be brave and at least try to talk in a couple meetings (when you have something constructive to say), as practice is the best way to improve. In my first few games, even though English is my first and native language, I tended not to speak unless there were only a few people left. In time, I became more comfortable talking in meetings.

Due to it being kind of a last minute thing we just met up in Time Square and chatted and took some photos. We recieved our choice of a goose or duck tshirt (like the ones the gaggle staff were wearing in that photo). We also got a GGD NYC card that came with a code for some gold and a mystery code to be revealed at a later time.
After the meetup a few of us went out and grabbed some pizza and hung out for a bit. I really enjoyed getting to meet the devs that I've had the pleasure of interacting with for over a year now, and I really enjoyed getting to meet some other players as well.
It was also my first public social gathering since the pandemic started, so it was kind of exciting to get some assembly of normalcy back.

As a point of clarification, the the segregation of the #lfg-english-all-ages and #lfg-english-over18 is just one of age, and not any other qualifier. It doesn't necessitate that one is more streamer friendly than the other, for example. The host of a game will always have the final say in who they want in, and if a player is not respecting the rules set out by the host, they should kick them. Also note that these channels have been put in place to help players find other like-minded players. We aren't going to try to confirm anyone's age, but we do ask that if you're posting in one channel that you are not posting the same code in the other.

My advice for being an Esper is to find a friend or two to hang around. As a duck, when I thought I found the esper, there were actually two or three candidates, and I was wrong about which one was actually the esper.
Also, there's only one sabotage that the esper will ever stop in a game. Telepathy and Clairvoyance are mutually exclusive, similar to how the chandelier or the water pump are in Manor.
