Someone in a public game is being toxic/abusive/swearing/racist

Unfortunately, we cannot control when bad actors enter a public game, but we do empower you by providing tools to help moderate these games. Conversations that go on in public games are still private, and we do not have access to the audio in any way. You can block or mute the relevant players in-game and use the in-game censoring filter. You can report the offending player as well, and these reports will be attached to their account, and may result in bans. If you are the lobby host, you can kick the offending players, and if you are not the host you can ask the host to kick them. Players who are kicked will not be able to rejoin the game unless permitted back in by the host. If the player in question is the host, and a sufficient number of players block their mics, they will be kicked from the game, and once again that will be reflected on their account.

I got lucky with a few lobbies that match my sense of humor and made a few good friends out of it

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

You only need to adjust mic sensitivity if people have difficulty hearing you talk in game, for example your mic keeps cutting out on them.
It does not affect the volume of your voice, what it does is makes it easier for any noise to trigger the microphone.
Set it too high, and everyone will complain they can hear the dog in your neighbours yard three blocks away.
