Hitman duck seems kinda pointless off the provided info.
Seems like classic duck, just with a very needless target. Gets nothing out of it, already knows they're not a duck.
Doesn't provide any utility to his team like the other ducks do, and even adds in a detriment to his team because his existence means that 2 non-ducks will always be grouped.
At least lovers are vulnerable, lover duck gets a new partner.

Bodyguard goose is spectacular in that it provides critical information and makes you vulnerable, but not in a way that is directly beneficial to the ducks. Maybe the reward for hitman could be the 5th sabo for their team?

Most roles come down to a matter of opinion which is why that is the common response. I feel hitman provides a good balance personally as it tells you of a goose/neutral with a role and having the bodyguard around them can help hinder a falcon or vulture so it provides value overall

It seems flippant to say, just turn off the roles you don't like, but realistically thats what it is

Plus with Kamikaze listed as a prospective duck, and Pigeon being in game, grouping up together is not always gonna be the best idea. More so if Kamikaze enters. Plus Hitman confirms the existence of a Bodyguard which would help Assassin have a target to snipe pretty easily. So it has a few balances, and will have more if Kamikaze does get in.

Yeah, but that still needs folks heading into one spot, it results in a massive group together that can be hard to do anything with after. Like in a 3v1, sabotage to split people up into groups of 2, duck kills and then the body isn't insta reported like all other sabotages would be since the whole group will be present instead of having to split up.

but in a 3v1 2 2 go one way 2 go another way resulting in it not being killable, fire sabo on new map for example it doesnt matter if they go together you can kill and likely they wont see

But you can kill the 1 you went off with, and you at least have time to head over and reach the other two to kill one of them instead of the group of 4 that would normally exist just insta reporting your kill. And the body is still quite visible in the smoke if you're looking, at least to me, and there's a big report button that shows it's active. Maybe they can try to lie and throw illusion, but they may have already been known (hence doing the sabotage to prevent a button press) or may have been seen to do the kill. The lack of visibility still leads to groups and a good chance of getting caught, splitting up is a very effective way of trying to claim a win. AU has splitting up sabotages in I believe all maps for a reason, it works.

the person who's trying to kill the target has to have both the target and the bodyguard in range

If the orientation (from left to right) was Target----Hitman----Bodyguard , the bodyguard would actually still take the hit

We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. ok, short answer, from what I understood, as soon as you do a drawing of a character, you own the copyright to it and can in theory enforce it against anyone.
but to make it safe, it seems like the cartoon makers submit the work to U.S. Copyright Office (it's very cheap), to prove they created it, and if the character is atypical / sufficiently differentiating, then the cartoon maker can claim the exclusive usage of it. As an additional protection, a trademark can be registered to protect the name or attitude/pose of the character.
So no, Disney hasn't a monopoly over ducks fortunately and it seems very safe 😄

hey so i was playing the game for the first time yesterday and the game didnt feel very engaging
there were too many people to keep track of and too many roles, so it was easy for a murderer to just go "oh, i'm mechanic" if they were seen venting or something

Not at all! Classic+ mode can be a lot to take in for a new player if that's what you were playing. Classic mode has a bit less going on and once you've got the hang of the maps and tasks, Classic+ opens up more roles for more varied gameplay.

and that makes it so that everyone can enjoy the game by not being always a goose
