This is for expert players who want added level of difficulty and enjoy the classic deception mode a bit more than the casual player.

Yes abandoning games will upset the player experience for others. This xam get you banned temporarily from games. If it is repeated you will get banned for longer.

You earn gold by completing achievements. Otherwise you can go to the store and purchase coin packs with real money Check out the founders pack which will give you a hat, shirt, pet and some coins 🙂

You don't earn silver by voting out the right person technically. You earn a tiny bit more silver (largely inconsequential) for winning. But game length and number of players can matter way more. The win bonus isn't worth your time to cheat for. We did however want to incentivise people for winning even if it was just a tiny bread crumb (no pun intended).

If cheating to earn 10 more silver / hour is your thing then you need a new thing 🙂

There are a number of reasons why the game may be "kicking" you. In general if the host doesn't get a response to your connection in 4.5s (4500ms) it will assume you are disconnected. You can have FAST internet and still get lag spikes because of a faulty router, a weak wifi signal or just having Jitter on your connection. Lag is a two way street though. Every action you take has to be sent to all players and acknowledged and returned. Sometimes if you're lagging other players will appear to be lagging; that could be your connection trying to catch up. Consistency is far more important than pure speed. You can stream data in without problems but real-time multiplayer games with up to 16 players rely on a consistent signal with medium to low latency.

was this in a public/non-voice chat game or were you in a private (prox-chat able) game? The couple of public games, i've seen this kinda of play more than in private games, but it is definitely how sometimes you do play. Just remember, each start is a new game, and try not to let it get to you if it happens frequently - there are definitely moments in our private lobbies we have slaughter of certain people first ... but we also then chill and play 'properly' and enjoy the game for what it is! Quackers! Glad you are enjoying GGD anyway 🙂 Do check out #lfg-english-over18 or Twitch categories for GGD streams currently playing, and see if you can join in, if your experience in public games isn't working for you.

When setting up a lobby with 1 Duck and both Morphin and Cannibal Duck enabled, do I get a Cannibal Morphin Duck?

Yeah so rn you only get cannibal not morphing if one duck only is in the game but in the next update we made it so you can choose to have a certain role "maybe" so that there's a 50% chance there's an engineer at example and like that for any role

Proximity chat really makes this game shine and that is mostly available in private games.

We are growing about 3-5k players a day but games rapidly appear and start. As our player base grows we will definitely have more public game options.

hi @acoustic moon - The Gaggle team want keep access to the base game for anyone to play, so it's intended to stay free, however there will be always be some cosmetics and items that require gold coins to equip (you can purchase gold coins from the store with real $). Other items can be redeemed with silver coins from Twitch Drops and silver or crafting parts from game play.

Currently it's focused around giving a duck a bonus if you're killed first by them.

Ironically if the vigilante figures out it's you they can also kill you

That one specific group for some reason doesn't want to use our built in chat, our games have built in chat. You do not need a VC.

All private lobbies have voice chat. The host has the option to turn proximity chat on or off in-game. All public lobbies will have VC turned off completely... at least for the time being. No need to download any additional mods for this game, as all the sweet features are built in. It sounds to me like you need a group of players who will lead you on the right path. @keen beacon check the lfg (looking for group) channels for other members posting codes for private lobbies. Whatever language lfg channel suits you best..
