I recommend going into explore mode if you can't find the task. That way you can take your time finding where everything is, including the mouse task.

Hey, I know this is very late but I sleep for a long time. As someone who has played both Suspects and GGD, here are the differences.

• Games can have more players at once. Suspects I believe was 10 players per game while GGD is up to 16.
• Suspects has that MMR system that in my opinion makes it much harder to find games as you climb. GGD does not have MMR but it does have player levels that you can check for a sense of how experienced a player might be
• A LOT more roles. The roles in suspects are usually locked behind their respective game modes (vigilantes in vigilante mode, poisoners in poisoner mode, etc.) while GGD you get a bunch of different role options even with playing classic
• On most maps, ducks have to do specific duck-only tasks to unlock sabotages, which makes them riskier to try and unlock (or a dead duck can unlock them for their teammates so they don't have to risk capture)
• Neutral roles that are neither Geese (Guests) nor Ducks (Killers) that have to fulfil their own objective to win alone.
• Last I checked in, Suspects had 3 maps. GGD is very soon getting its 10th map (11th if you count The Lounge which is exclusive to Hanging Out mode)

I enjoyed my time playing suspects, but I favored GGD in the end. 1 thing I think Suspects has over GGD is the animations, like when the game ends a slightly different cutscene plays depending on who was victorious while GGD has the winner(s) stand under a spotlight with a different background color depending on the winning team.

• Trying maps?
  Yes. In the tutorial section in the main menu there is an option to explore. While exploring you can do every task and even access the vents to see where they connect (note that different maps may have alternatives to vents, some have hiding spots and some even have a dense fog that normal geese dare not to go through). Unfortunately, explore mode does not allow you to try the sabotage tasks, those you'll have to learn through experience, though they are still very simple and straight forward.
• Role definitions?
  Also in the tutorial section, you can see the description for all the roles except for a select few that are exclusive to special modes. While in game there is also an info button that lists the roles in game and a button to display what it does. The descriptions only provide a basic explanation of the roles and some may be more in depth, any role questions you can ask here and we will be happy to help.
• Teamers/Cheaters?
  I have encountered some people teaming, though it is very uncommon; I have not run into a single actual cheater and I have played for about 2 years. If you do run into someone who is not being fair, you can ask the host to boot them from the game. If they are the host or the host is oblivious/does not care, then you can always find a different lobby

Also I have just learned how you're supposed to play Demolitionist. It's sort of like playing Esper. Have someone else pass by and give the bomb then - there's about 5 seconds before it starts ticking.

Had a rather cool vigi game a little while ago. 'Twas a 2 duck game. 2 geese passed me and I joined their group. I then get a bomb, so I reason that one of those 2 are the bomber. I follow one of the duo and pass the bomb at the last possible second, then hunt down and kill the second to guarentee that I got the bomber. Turns out, I gave the bomb to the bomber and the other guy with them was the other duck. So I ended up unintentionally ending the game in a goose win lol.

I wouldn't say any particular role has a 'proper way' to play them. There definitely are ways that work better, but if thats the only way you play it, it becomes predictable

How to confuse the heck out of a somewhat new player:
Kill a pigeon/Engineer in the secret room, and watch the vulture get really confused.
Alternatively, have the stalker stalk you, and go into the secret room.

It would be kinda funny if you could drag bodies as Undertaker into the vents and bring them elsewhere. Would be broken though most likely

The secret room is also fun as Medium to know there is a body somewhere, no vulture nor cannibal, but you can't find it

I believe the same is true for the Serial Killer. If you eat the Serial Killer's obsession, their arrow will follow you instead. If they kill you, they will not get the cooldown reduction though.

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

It's weird how Task Race being most efficient on Bloodhaven has burnt me out a bit on Bloodhaven despite not playing actual normal lobbies on Bloodhaven lol

I'd say aside from Ancient Sands having lag sadly for my phone (RAM issue - 2GB) during sandstorms, Bloodhaven is the one I have the least amount of interest in somewhat, due to farming Task Race on it to try and hit 100 on a few of the days during the Task Race event.

(Since farming it on any other one is way less efficient and playing normal games get nowhere near the 100 in any efficient amount of time, unfortunately)

It might be cool if there were events where the tokens were earned in ways other than doing tasks.

Winning games, successfully voting out (or shooting) ducks as a goose, or voting out geese as a duck

getting most kills or most tasks

it seems like when events are going down, there are a lot of task race token farming lobbies, and I feel like people son't enjoy task race as much as normal games because when do you ever see a task race lobby when an event isn't ongoing and people aren't making token farming lobbies?

I was in a game once where we drafted and there was a known engineer (me), and the ducks were known to be morphling, and silencer. and we knew there was no pigeon. So, only I, the engineer, could vent. And that was public knowledge.

I got voted out because I vented.
