Here's what they said in the update: The second new role is the Esper (!?). The Esper is psychic, and they could hear it every time a player complained about how weak they were. Every complaint felt like a knife in their brain. Enough was enough, and they decided to switch sides. The new Esper Duck can psychically invade another player's mind. Once they are inside, a timer will begin. The Esper can speak privately up until the timer hits zero, at which point the target dies.

While demo is among my least favourite duck roles to play, I wouldn't be that harsh to it. Demo isn't forced to stand still before killing. Bombs that are counting down aren't cancelled by meetings.

They both have different strengths and weaknesses, I wouldn't say either are a "better version" of the other.

Though Esper is a lot more my playstyle than demo, I am looking at this as non-biased as I can.

Oh, if you detective check someone and they have angel, and after the actual check that person kills someone, the symbol won't change and still show the angel symbol. Perhaps that's the thing that you believe to be an error.

Someone in a public game is being toxic/abusive/swearing/racist

Unfortunately, we cannot control when bad actors enter a public game, but we do empower you by providing tools to help moderate these games. Conversations that go on in public games are still private, and we do not have access to the audio in any way. You can block or mute the relevant players in-game and use the in-game censoring filter. You can report the offending player as well, and these reports will be attached to their account, and may result in bans. If you are the lobby host, you can kick the offending players, and if you are not the host you can ask the host to kick them. Players who are kicked will not be able to rejoin the game unless permitted back in by the host. If the player in question is the host, and a sufficient number of players block their mics, they will be kicked from the game, and once again that will be reflected on their account.

Gotcha, most of the time that I press the report button is when someone is mic spamming (extremely loud soundboards ect.) or constantly saying things they really shouldn't be saying (slurs), so the fact that no audio is being sent too as proof feels a little odd, though it's understandable because of the whole legal thing with minors and data collection.

I'm not entirely sure if this issue is worth contacting support. There is more likely something local, because before reinstalling Windows everything worked as it should

Also do note, you can go into settings and turn that players volume to 0 and you won't hear them. It will also save this so if they were to be in a lobby with you again, even if they change ur name, itll be defaultly set to the 0 volume

If the host kicks you, not that I'm aware of.
But if you're kicked for inactivity, being idle too long or voluntarily leaving the game early, I believe these are tracked and if they happen too frequently your account is flagged for review.
I have no idea of what kind of numbers though, but I suspect 1-2 times a day won't do anything

Of course, I don't actually know this for sure, a moderator or Gaggle member may be able to answer more fully.
