I would investigate into that error with your machine. From a quick lookup, seems to be a very common exception thrown with windows 7
It's not working. Also I repeated the delete and reinstall process 3 times. What should I do in this situation
That error code is telling you Windows has a memory access violation while launching the game.
Basically its trying to allocate RAM to the game, which is already in use by another program or service
I don't know the cause or how to fix it, but this may help track down what's going on

The error says that your game is unresponsive. Does this happen while loading the game or at some other time
If it's happening while loading the game, I suggest just giving it a little bit of time. Overloading system resources or having a lot of active background processes can give this sort of error. Usually just giving the program time to launch before trying to interact with it will fix the issue. As I understand it, this happens because the CPU is busy

Nothing comes to mind right now. Are you launching the game via Steam, or the version downloaded from the gaggle website?

In that case, I would try downloading the game from gaggle's website and try launching ggdlauncher(.exe) to see if that makes any difference. I don't know much else about this issue to help further

in the lobby there is a stand you can change the settings in. For example on Mothergoose its a computer with a cog on the screen. Mallard Manor its the desk

If the lobby is full, you are on someones block list, or previously kicked from the lobby, you are unable to rejoin
if you were previously kicked, the host would have to pardon you before youre able to rejoin

Be sure that there are not too many applications running in the background taking your phone resources and that your network connection is stable with 10Mbps upload/download. You could also try restarting your mobile device

Hello does anyone know how to fix my problem? My achievement progress in phone is not syncing when I play on steam pc, can you please help?
Your in game achievement counter should be the same on both devices. e.g 5/3500 intercom uses. However, Steam achievement progress only goes up when you spefically play on the Steam platform itself so it isn't possible to sync up. e.g You use intercom another time on your phone so in game it'll change to 6/3500 but the Steam achievement list should and will remain at 5/3500.
So if you want a Steam achievement you have to play through Steam and not your phone. Hope that helps/makes sense.
So why my friend's steam achievement counts and progress even though he play on the phone and why mine doesn't count. Is there any way to make my achievement on the phone counts on the steam??

How to enable night in corruption mode?
Night time in corruption mode is on a timer, there is a visual indicator around the map that will show you when and also how long night time will last.

My ggd on my phone freezes up immediately when I join a game. I can do everything else like go and change outfits and go to the shop but I can’t play. I tried deleting and reinstalling but it didn’t work as well as changing my WiFi connection. Any suggestions or ways to fix?

The only thing I don’t know what it is, is jitter. But I looked at it earlier and it was close to the same as this.
The mobile device certainly meets minimum specs, and the speeds look good. The only other thing I know of at the moment would be to ensure there aren't other programs running in the background that could be using a lot of resources

I ended up fixing it, apparently when the last time ggd tried to update it failed and said it updated. So when I restarted this second time after redownloading it let me update. I think the lobby’s wouldn’t let me play due to the update needed to be done properly.

thats when the person holding the bomb is notified there is a bomb
Latency may also contribute. If you're playing with say 300ms of ping, you won't hear the bomb ticking for 300ms after you see the player with it, more than enough time to be handed the bomb before you even know it's there

- you've joined a lobby with privacy mode enabled - this will give you the name bird with a number after it
- there is something offensive in the chosen name that is being filtered

Well I fixed it, but not in an ideal way that I kinda regret. lol
Turning off my "Smart App Control" in my windows 11 security settings fixes it and allows GGD to run, although this setting can't be turned back on without reinstalling Windows. So wouldn't recommend

Reinstalling it is unlikely to help now that the issue is identified
In the mean time, until a fix is issued, I would recommend playing on another device such as a mobile phone or another computer

You'll have to check that you gave GGD permission to access your microphone (you likely saw a pop-up that GGD was trying to access your mic. So you'll have to check your system/privacy settings. I am assuming windows, you can also check out #known-issues message

haha hope ur movies were good :) i did allow ggd to access my mic (privacy settings were fine) and my drivers were up to date. my mic settings were also at max with a x10 amp and 100 sensitivity (toggled echo on and off too).

Might need to provide more details. What kind of device? Is it routed through a 3rd party software (e.g. elgato wavelink)
its a hyperx headset & mic plugged into my pc via usb (which i think is what might be messing it up). no 3rd party software but i do have an anti cheat for ggd that i didnt used to have before when i played.
Try disabling any noise cancelation, either on the headset itself or if the HyperX software has noise canceling functions.

just curious if anyone has a soultion for mobile mics? Since recent Android update GGD mic still works but it picks up EVERY sound causing extreme echo. Yes, I mute but sometimes not fast enough before I get kicked.
No other open programs ( I am a veteran with this game and mobile) I have restarted all to no avail. can't go back to old audio where I could have it on sound activated. Becasue the echo is so overwhleming I get kicked. Even when I talk theres it echo. Any solution as BT headphones are a known issues with this game?
This has always been an issue if using mobile devices mic for me. Try turning sensitivity up until it hits max that sometimes can help.
And Bluetooth headphone picking something up is interesting... Might be the headset too loud and picking up feedback from itself. As far as I know, nothing has changed on the voice or blueooth settings with latest update.
Yeah that would happen to me as well, would often get kicked from lobbies bc of my mic's extreme echo, very unfortunate.
Turning sensitivity to maximum should make the problem worse, not better, I do not recommend this
I turn amplifier to zero and sensitivity way down on Bluetooth mics.

My problem exists only using the regular speaker/phone function that GGD uses.
Any other options for me because BT headphones are the only other options and I DON'T want to use them. Every time I try they can't hear me- I can only hear them.
I don't have a lot of experience with mobile microphones as I personally prefer desktop but I do know the issue you're mentioning.
This isn't a solution so much as a bandaid, but what if you connect with a Bluetooth device connected and then once you're in the lobby and can mute, return to your regular mic?

Without extra information, i can only guess, but i assume the game is stopping at the loading screen when first launching it?
This is typically one of two things, either your network connection is having difficulty reaching the GGD servers (either due to poor connection or possibly restrictions imposed by your ISP) or the more common issue, the game is out of date and needs updating

This can happen if you try to join a different lobby before you have left the previous lobby.
When you unintentionally disconnect there is a short window in which you can reconnect, before you are counted as having left the game

Is it intentional that the Engineer can vent in and out immediately, while other venting roles can’t? If that’s intended, do you think it might slightly weaken the social deduction aspect? Since being able to vent in and out instantly can kind of confirm you’re a Goose on the spot.

There are a lot of goose players that signed up with a gamecenter account that cant use anything but a game center account if they want to play with that account. For all the work that’s always being done on this game, it wouldn’t hurt to maybe fix that or make it an option to merge two accounts of our own. Nothing sucks more than wanting to plan on a computer, but I can’t with this account so I have to make a whole new account.

Goose Goose Duck is supported on Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS platforms. Linux has never been an officially supported platform and if GGD was playable on linux in the past, it was a happy accident. The team is constantly working on improving the game. Linux may or may not be supported sometime in the future!

I essentially had the game crash on me without dc'ing, my screen was completely frozen, I couldnt move, talk, open settings, nothing. And I couldnt leave to reset it either. I was stuck like that for a meeting and most of the next round. Is there anything that could have caused it? Its mobile, and I was vulture in basement map, I froze from second meeting to most of the third round.
I would check that you dont have too many other apps running make sure its getting enough resources to meet min spec.

i need help in knowing where to go to get assistance for my game recording of ggd...all of sudden, i cant record the audio of the game, i can my voice, but not the game sounds, from my friends either...Nothing, silent..it started when i switched headphones, to a jabra pro 930 duo, its not pluged into the microphone ports, but usb. can anyone tell me where to go to get help?

For example I use elgato wavelink and have separated audio outputs (system, game, browser, aux, music, chat) and have all my various applications routing to corresponding channels
the AI & i have gotten to where we think the audio is being saved elsewhere for privacy sake....ive gone to all the settings, the Jabra, win10 sound, Steam, i cant get it to work all the settings are where the AI says for them to be to pick up the audio...not just my voice...which makes for boring playback...lol

Hi, I’d like to report an Easy Anti-Cheat issue on PC.
Problem:
- I do NOT use cheats or third-party cheat tools.
- If I launch Steam normally, Easy Anti-Cheat loads very slowly and then skips into the game at around 10% instead of fully completing.
- If I run Steam as Administrator, Easy Anti-Cheat loads to 100% and the game opens, but I still get a Security Violation error in-game.
Things I already tried:
- Verified no cheats are installed/running
- Ran Steam as Administrator
- Restarted PC
- Tried repairing EAC, but had issues opening the setup

Also, the issue is inconsistent:
- Sometimes the game works when using a VPN
- Sometimes it does not
- Without admin mode, EAC loads slowly and skips around 10%
- With Steam as Administrator, EAC loads to 100%, but I may still get Security Violation
Because VPN sometimes changes the result, I think this may be related to connection, EAC/EOS service startup, or region/network routing rather than cheat software.

Yes I can confirm both connections are well over 10Mbps, I've tried both device and modem restarts as well as. There is no anti-virus or VPN running, the issue also persists with the Firewall disabled.

Hey! So just an update the VPN did end up fixing the issue, while it does work I'm curious what service may not be connecting on regular AT&T internet. Tried to be as thorough as I could opening ports and reducing Firewall inspections/security. Manual DNS targets and port ranges gave the same result. I'm curious if a DMZ would've let the traffic through but I'm unable to test on this Router

I'm using a translation app to communicate with you, so it might sound a bit strange. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and I've also restarted my phone's internet, but it's still stuck on this screen. My internet speed is 20 Mbps+.
This time I keep getting Security Violation when launching without VPN. With VPN the game launches but disconnects frequently. I already verified files, reinstalled, reset network, disabled overlays/background apps, and followed troubleshooting steps. No cheat software is installed. Could this be a false anti-cheat or routing issue from my region/ISP?

I recently logged back into my account, same email and everything and it has ALL of my purchased items. But for some reason the user is set to my ACTUAL NAME and not the username I left it as, RavenArtist. I tried changing my friend id, just wasted money for nothing because it did not fix it. I'm stuck with my real name as my username, I could really use some help.
If you haven't logged in in a long time, your nickname may default to the nickname tied to your gaggle account.
Are you trying to change your in-game name? You can do so in the play menu before creating/joining a game

it wont let me join games, when i try it says "the room is running on a different version of the game" but ive updated my game but it still wont let me
That usually means the lobby you are trying to join has not updated yet
everyone will need to be on the same version to play together
even when i hosted, my friends who also updated werent able to join
specifically my friend who plays on his phone
On the main menu above the logo, get everyone to check that it says v4.09
And not 4.08.01
V4.08 cannot play with v4.09

yea there is always that small transition window with version updates but everyone eventually gets there 
Hi guys does anybody have this problem? I cant play with friends on mobile when im on PC. we are on the same version. I even tried to install game to my phone restart both devices but still same problem thanks.
The lobby you are trying to join is still running v4.08.01
you will need to join a lobby that is updated to v4.09
is there some way to fix it ?
