I played on a Valheim server with my wow buddies … I stayed at home and made a massive house and pig farm and then had to run and hide because the more world bosses you kill the more monsters visit the places players are… I died a lot rofl .. ended up playing solo - much safer that way 🙂

my friends and i would build all sorts of weird houses, we even had a mayor's office that was just there for fun. our town was built over a ravine, so we also had people live in the ravine in cave homes, and we built a big bridge across the gap, and had paths leading to everyone's homes

No testing phases are really announced until right before they happen. That being said, they estimate 4-5 testing phases, and this is phase 2.

ive seen quite a few public alphas :P 7 days to die has all their alpha builds public, and star citizen is in perpetual alpha
