I think there might be multiple 'progression' elements to the game ... we have the bars to fill to gain levels in the skills and activities we do ... the level of romance/friendship with the npcs could be another target to aim for and of course how far along you get with the mystery behind the humans

They have said that any sign ups between when they first released the form (Back in June of 2021) and this past Tuesday (2/8/22) have a chance of receiving an invite for this phase of testing. If you signed up after the cut-off you are still eligible for the following phases, just not this one.
