ive tried stardew coop a few times but those games never lasted more than a few sessions

Last time I tried playing stardew in a group we ended up doing 'separate gold' which ended up with the 'couple' in the group bunking up with eachother while the other two of us basically played by ourselves... this was partly due to the couple "forgetting" the other two of us were there... I am hoping Palia plays better in a group

maybe allude to the ways the villagers call them, but since it's clear that the villagers are all speaking their own language, everything we see is already "translated" for us

yeah .. my piano lessons stopped early on because of moving house and school when I was about 12 but I learnt enough to understand the basics and look up the stuff I didn't know like how to understand the tempo notage.

i dont even understand basic stuff like how to read bass clef (had to look that up just now) and the chords at the top of bars (my best guess is that they signify what chord is meant to underly them but idk if youre meant to play them or not)

Ah yes .. the chords at the top are positioned when you play them on the respective instrument .. piano/guitar etc. The treble clef is usually for the melody and the bass clef for bass instruments. When I play the guitar I usually use the bass clef section for strumming against the chords and the treble clef when I play the keyboard or picking on the guitar against the chords.

Thats my understanding anyway .. I still have to look up bass clef for notes as I haven't memorised them yet

Way way back on Day 20 of pre-alpha taking my wife, I was venting about being able to hear some of the sounds in Palia. Which was slowly driving me insane. And one of them was someone saying hello.

I can hear one very easily identifiable "Hello" from an NPC, but have absolutely no idea who the NPC is.

And lo and behold, I should have recognized the Hello. A few days ago I decided to watch the Palia announcement trailer again, and that bloody "hello" was in the trailer! It was Ashura! The pimp daddy of Kilima Village was putting the moves on my wife! The nerve of that guy!

Anyways, just wanted to mention that one of life's mysteries has been solved for me. Now, back to waiting... waiting... waiting...
