I'm hoping the fishing isn't grueling. I know they said something about how it would be enjoyable, but I recall to mind two distinct games I've played where there was fishing: Minecraft and Play Together. I enjoyed Minecrafts fishing mechanic, it was always enjoyable for me as you could literally fish up anything. Play Together is a recent mobile game where fishing is available and it is the most aggravating thing but they both are the same concept: wait for a fish to bite. I don't know what play together got wrong but I'm hoping Palia has a decent method

They eat the bugs i don’t like and keep my house clean. Usually in fall I get one or two that like to hang out. Last year I had one named Emmett and whenever I would watch movies he would crawl behind me and nestle himself behind my head next to the couch like he was watching the movie too and it was so cute

He eventually left when the weather warmed up but for a few months he lived in my house

Seeing as this isn't a gear thing or something that revolves around the need for people of the same level to play together it would be a moot point. A Player 12 fisher can fish alongside a player 50 fisher ( levels made up for the example ). Player 12 will get level 12 fish, player 50 will get level 50 fish in a level 50 area ( if they exist ) and perhaps both get level 12 fish in level 12 area ( again if level areas exist )

I think you have that in every case. If you turn it around, grinders fill feel left out if they have plenty of time but won't be better than others. Its not possible to create a game that makes everyone happy.

i like how i found people like that in my travels in other mmorpgs, but the game wasn't really shaped around them doing that. they just did it for the fun of it. it'll be nice to see how a community oriented MMO will let people like that flourish and truly incentivise them to be in the world.

A group did get to try for a couple of months in June/July. As long as you sign up on the website and fill in the survey .. the only thing you have to do now is just wait for when they start sending out invites for the next test which could be a few months or so away.

heyy, sorry for bothering you guys. i am so looking forward to play this game, it looks extremely cozy and perfect for me, i hope i could access the beta too, fingers crossed. i only have a small issue with the fact that the colors are too bright/saturated for my eye. i get easily tired and i usually try to tone down the game by in-game filters or reshade program, whatever is available. will you guys have filters too? or will it be bannable to use reshade?

There will be tons of options to help with getting a comfortable gameplay experience.

Although they haven't gone into details of exactly which yet as that part of the development hasn't been applied yet. How much of that type of functionality is in the Alpha ( the next test phase ) is unknown.

They will be opening #851872239435644928 this week or next week so worth popping your head in over that time period and you can pose the question to them yourself. You may get an answer the following month but at least you have made them aware of the issues it may cause you if not.

Hi everyone!
This PC is gonna kill me, this story truly never ends.
So about the issues:
They sent me WRONG RAM. I already talked with them and they'll replace it, no costs etc so that's good.
Now the worst part: My CPU is idling at 80 degrees Celsius, which is terrible. I tried undervolting, but what's the real issue is probably water pump. I feel it shuts down itself randomly which would explain the behavior I observed. I have few solutions to try, we'll see
