Hi. Not sure if this is the right place to do this but I'm Passiontiger. I believe my husband has been coming here daily. I can't find him at the moment. If you could let him know that I am looking for him I would appreciate it. His name is Wippit and my time away from him was required but so painful. The times I spent seeing the sun set over the lands of palia were amazing and beautiful but there was something missing. My family. I will admit I did find a family to be part of while I was in the lush green lands of Palia but every tree, flower, and stream I saw I wanted to share the view with him. I am home, but at the same time, the time I spent there has made me wish to be back. I need to be with my family but can't wait to be able to return to that peaceful world in due time.

Hello my name is Wippit and I'm a non-alpha spouse. It has been 65 days since pre-alpha took my wife, and 0 days since I was re-united with her as pre-alpha ended. It's both a good feeling to have her back, and a sad feeling that Palia is, at the moment, empty of people.

It has been a colorful 24 hours in our little slice of existence. New color yesterday for the Discord channel brought a little dash of rainbow; of course I'm still boring white, it's my thing now. And today, with the ending of pre-alpha, we were offered glimpses at the world that a few got to experience, and many are craving. And when excitement blossoms in the chat, the chat explodes in discussion.

So, what next? Do I keep chronicling the experience, even though I literally have nothing to chronicle at the moment? No snippits of sound, no muffled conversations through a headset blasting music, no "Eeeeee" of excitement. Sure, I can just game with my wife again, but... i can see her eyes. I can see the tears welling. She was taken from me by pre-alpha, but now pre-alpha has been taken from her.

S6, I give you a heartfelt "thank you" from a person who hasn't even seen the game yet, because I know how much the game means to Passion. And I give you a soulfelt "please hurry" towards the next step in the journey to Palia.

Ok Palia friends this is a silly request from an actual dinosaur- I’m hoping someone can help me figure out how to enjoy discord? I am so excited about the game but I don’t get how to get the most enjoyment out of this platform- do you guys scroll up in the chat to read info or do you just have it up for random check ins? I’m using on the app on a cell for reference

Discord is a good place for chatting, but if you want mainly updates, then be sure you have alerts set for channels in the announcement section

Personally, the only real channels you need to keep an eye on for updates is #🌠│official-art and #📢│palia-news
Everything in #💬│palia-discussions is mostly just, community members talking about the game, not the announcements themselves ^^

It depends on how you want to deal with it .. I spend most of the time 'lurking' and check in now and then to see if any interesting conversations are going on .. and other times I'm here for hours joining in the chatter

I'd say "wasps do not produce wax or store honey", but many solitary and burrowing bees don't do wax hives either

(well, I say burrowing, but I mean mason/carpenter bees that tunnel into wood. Bees also never build nests underground, but many wasps do)

yeah, when I was looking up where they live to attract some into our garden I found that the mason bees are more likely to use a flower pot or a branch on the floor

but .. a bee hotel was fully booked the year before last rofl

If you have the tools laying around, you can make a nice mason bee house by taking a block of untreated scrap wood (at least 4"x4") and drilling a few holes from 1/2-3/4" into it

They're fun bees to have around, too!
