Option to move in with another player, or them with you.
For people who are newer or friends, couples who want to share one home?

Maybe also special buildings that are community town buildings where things get unlocked via votes week by week.
So an area or room will unlock and u have a week to vote/contribute to x y z option(style?) to be built. (for ex. tavern build depends on resources contributed by players so it makes sense to the area
Wood: mistly wooden structures, maybe even upgrade tiers, stone etc) players who contributed most have their name on a leaderboard or and a title

The one thing I am going to stress is that there is going to be a lot of content that will be officially released in the weeks to come. So far there have been weekly character updates, a fun art stream, and so much more we the whole community have been able to see and take part in.

As personal speculation, I am hopeful there will be more test phases down the road, but we will have to wait for news on that.

Aye, you had to rotate the item to make it "stick" in the air. Otherwise, the float is only visible locally. Also there's a minimum float height (different per item) - if you're below that, it'll snap back to the ground anyway.

Same here, but after a couple of months, a lot of the people who left for WoW started coming back. I had thought about trying WoW, getting in on a new game that early really appealed, but I had already put so much time and work into my EQ characters I didn't really want to walk away from that at the time.

When I played WoW, I avoided the larger cities as much as possible, because it was just people over the main chat calling each other horrible things and arguing over everything. Hard to chill and enjoy a game with that. I'm just hoping this different playstyle might turn off that sort of person to wanting to join the game.

I ended up quitting WoW after about a month, when I realized I had accidentally turned it into pokemon. I fished up my first pet, and after that all I did was walk across the continent, collecting and battling pets. 😅

I'm glad I did, but I stay to myself. I love my little island, I don't need to compare it to anyone else's. I also really enjoy Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town (and I love yelling SOS POOT! every time I load up the game). So it was worth it for me, but yeah, online is no fun.

What is everyone's take on a class system? i don't want to be pigeon-holed into on class. In original SWG you were able to pick a main profession, but then learn others as a secondary, third, etc. to build a dynamic player. I hope this is like that
