also, it might not be a total open experience. They may only open the game for a few hours on Fridays for example to test and provide feedback (that's what Ashes of Creation is doing right now). I don't think testers should expect a 24/7 static game experience in the beginning

Well, 8-hour work day, pacing yourselve at a set number of surveys per day and adding a tick mark under a column for each 'thing' people would change (gameplay, grind, mechanics, etc.). 100 each shift would get you through 1,000 responses in 10 days. 200 a day would get it done in 7.
