That's a tough one. I've seen a lot of games goof things up in many different ways. Knowing so little about Palia's systems, I guess I'd have to say my biggest worry is that they'll build systems early on that have certain limitations that keep them from being improved later. In some games, this is referred to as 'spaghetti code' where new employees can't decipher the work of those who came before and so old systems break, stay broken, or never get brought up to date.

That said, S6 seems like a company that's serious when they ask 'what do you guys think?' so hopefully that'll translate to getting systems right the first time.

• Do not click any links or e-mails from names and accounts you do not recognize. This week more than ever, people may try to send out scams to gather sensitive personal data. S6 devs will be able to tell you if a message is legitimate.
• Do not be too disappointed if you do not make it into the pre-alpha testing. The server is going to be very lively up to and beyond the release of the game, and S6 will be listening to feedback from everyone whether they are testing or not.
• Finally, if you are selected for the pre-alpha, be aware that an NDA will be in place. Essentially, this is an official and legally-binding agreement not to discuss your experiences in the pre-alpha or share any sensitive information.
