There's a few groups! There's ART, TWC (The Wandering Compass), a group of Chuus, and a Chapaa Guild. Of course like Faulty said none of these are official but are groups that are interested in playing together on release

Where he was totally impressed by what you've done, and totally didn't hold you trying to murder his wife against you... you were just on the opposite sides of things. And if things where different he'd be more than happy to have a dinner with you and just chill... that was a smooth touch... playing the 'ultimate evil' as a chill bro who does what he does because it's what he has to do, and doesn't hate anyone. They actually sold the 'it's not personal' line... which almost never works.

It's not exactly the same, but there are lots of Star Wars Galaxies private servers that are around with tight knit communities. It focuses around 36 professions (a lot of them are entirely non-combat) and can be played entirely without ever seeing combat. Crafters for weapons, ships, armors, taming and selling animals as pets/mounts, everything is 100% community driven including the economy. Definitely a fun experience and what this reminds me of a little bit

I just wanted to say that there is a game finally announced to have a western release date alas my country is not supported because we have lootbox and gambling regulations applied to protect us from predatory mechanics. Its sad i cant play because i was waiting for it for years. I wanted to ask, if someone from the development team reads this, to please don't go that route and make sure you can release the game in the Netherlands and Belgium, if anything just disable certain items for our countries if you really have to. Its sad how so many players are locked out from playing games because it has predatory mechanics. I think the best way to think of it is that if you're playing a character who you kind of embody as a different person than yourself, you're doing a kind of roleplay. And from there it's up to you how far you go with it: whether you want to act and speak as them, etc.

I believe one of the defining aspects of an RPG is whether or not there's a core central Quest that's to be progressed through. Lore can be regarded as story, but is not the same thing as a narrative, so it depends on what we'll be given in this regard. There are skills to increase sure, but these are elements of an RPG, not a core defining feature.
