Yup most of the time the people receiving the messages that say they're the worst have zero ability to influence anything and just get to deal with the hate on behalf of the decision makers while being under paid and under appreciated which ultimately causes them to leave the whole damn industry (I've worked with people who had been through that)

My guess based on absolutely nothing is that the last round of layoffs were to make them a more attractive purchase to Daybreak but

not to mention daybreak has become more and more scummy within their own titles the longer they've gone on - everquest being the largest example i can give because my dad used to play and quit because the store became more predatory over time

The issue with the feedback is that before when they had CMs here we knew the feedback was being actively compiled and sent off.

Now I'm still worried the form just goes into the void. A bunch of us sent in feedback about the maid outfit they recently released for instance asking them to rename it, but nothing ended up being changed. 😦

The game is actively physically harmful to folks with visually triggered neurological symptoms (from simple headaches and motion sickness through seizures and debilitating migraines) and those fixes have been very slow too - though renaming an outfit is a tiny change and quick win - plus this update has shiny new huge flashes to make that worse

I legit would not trust them with a loot table for boss drops since I cannot get hunting plushies to save my life, but can easily get bug ones, and can fish up 3 ancient fish in a row without issue. Their RNG/loot tables are not just broken, they are smashed into a million pieces.

they were trying to make everquest next/landmark and both fell through and so freerealms got shafted for nothing. they didnt want to keep substituting freerealms' costs from everquest's profit because they wanted to take that profit and use it elsewhere.

Its just wild, every other game i ever played.. and i played a bunch from Shooter to cozy games.. there were hot fixes after an update when they saw a lot of players disconnect each time they go to a certain part of the map, or even outfit glitches were fixed a few days after in a hot fix.. why cant they do it here?
I do love the game, its pretty chill and the community is awesome but some glitches are just not barrable anymore. Im tired of seeing the cat tail of the premium store all over the map and im more then tired to try to login up to 10 times after it kicked me out from going to bahari

The reason they have so many issues with bugs is that the engine Palia is built on is brand spankin' new and basically no one knows how to actually use it or program for it.

Based on GlassDoor reviews they lost most of their engineering team to firings / resignations so there's barely anyone left to actually implement things it sounds like.

When they released on Steam there was major backlash from a lot of us and they had mostly negative / mixed ratings.

They did not disclose the game is still in early access / beta and that fact has basically been scrubbed from their website. It's really only clear in the patcher at this point.

They also promised in that dev blog that accessibility features were in the works, and it's been about six months now with no news since then.

This is the point I always try to make tbh. Monetizing cosmetics is obviously a successful strategy, or companies wouldnt be doing it so universally.
What S6 is doing differently however, is monetizing ALL cosmetics while offering no earnable options, either through a small amount of earnable currency or even different cosmetics entirely
The end result being that there is nothing to earn or play for in Palia's 'endgame' whatsoever if you aren't interested in home decor, and if you're not playing the game, you're certainly not paying for cosmetics.

I understand that maji market is super exciting and yay fireworks, but i really wish S6 made it an optiont o turn off the visuals for that. It's very very overstimulating, to where i have to close my game/alt tab each time fireworks pop up. And there's a quest apparently to shoot more? so I keep just hearing the fireworks that other players shoot and having to close my game.

And seeing the popping the balloon thing, and fireworks went off for a bit, along with the balloons having their own visuals is just super overstimulating.

I don't mind that theyre there, but what I do mind is the fact that I can't disable those visuals. It's overstimulating for me, gives me headaches and makes me feel sick. I'm honestly so frustrated that this is something that people have given feedback over for ages and it's still something that isn't implemented-- in fact, more things with visuals similar to that and visual clutter has continued to be added. :/

I'm not surprised by this at all. The grind is clearly where they've been taking this game as of late.

They don't want people to just be one and done with the content after a week or two. They want to keep you playing for months.

Just look at the prize wheel for hotpot. It takes something like 50+ hours of hotpot in order to statistically get one of every decor item.

Dispite all the feedback, they've done nothing to improve this.

I don't really understand why they should. You're supposed to have to work for things in games. The experience would be over if there is no grind, that's the same for most games? I don't understand why they would make content easy to get... If they did, we'd all have nothing to do and then only the really hyper-focused would really play.

There's different forms of 'grind'. The way that it is now, actually feels daunting and overwhelming rather than a grind that I normally would see in MMOs. Like, a lot of the stuff feels close to impossible (for me at least) to get.

For the claw machine? You have to buy something with tickets, the higher the amount of tickets, the more likely you are to get aa coin. Anything over 6k tickets is a guranteed coin 🙂

So I'm having a lot of issues on this new patch. Joining a party, or being kicked from the party when entering Maji Market. At the last Chappa hunt, I was not able to grab one single chappa. They would disappear when I hit the F button to grab it. I am unable to read the info signs, don't know where to get coins for the claw game and am super irritated with the whole thing right now. I love the balloon pop. And I like the chappa chase but it's too small an area and too many ppl chasing at the same time. My head hurts and I should probably just leave the game......but I won't lol. !support I got mine within 5mins. I would wait out the 24hrs and then contact support if you still dont have the reward. Also sometimes changing naps or reloading the game has made other rewards appear. Could try that and make sure you are checking the news tab, not your mailbox

Can we talk about how you have to catch 1000 chappas to fill out the stamp all while only getting like 10-12 chappas a round?

I get that the credit carries over, but it's still 80-100 rounds of chappa chase to get to the very end of the ticket.

But at the same time, because the progress carries over, and presumably resets after you complete it fully, what even is the point of making each level of the stamp card progressively more and more?

That just means that starting out, I'll get an high influx of tickets as I get the first 2-3 levels of the stamp, only for it to slowly tapper off until I grind enough to complete the stamp card to get it back to 0 again.

I suppose the passive rewards for the stamp card are just supplementary to the actual tickets you get from each round of the chase.

So what difference in the end does it makes if each level to the stamp card is high and high, or if the intervals are the same amount in between?

10 > 50 > 100 > 250 > 1000

That last 750 just seems, excessive...

not to mention the last chapaa stamp is 1000k so if youre lucky and avg 10 per night youll have to play 100 hundred games lmao

10 > 50 > 100 > 250 > 1000

Vs

200 > 400 > 600 > 800 > 1000

makes no difference. It feels nice to get frontloaded with tickets early on, but then feels really bad to go through a 750 sprint later on.

You still get a flood of tickets early on, and have to work more towards it in the end, it's not nealy as bad.
