so we basically can prepare our inventories before going out
lets say u are going for muujins plushies grinding, then u fill ur tree with 1 fur in a few spots and 1 heartwood in some until ur inventory is full
when u then pick up the loot from trees and muujins everything that is not fur or heartwood gets send into storage

Wow, that’s clever, I’ll try that, thanks. But I meant without a workaround. Just a choice by left click etc to send that to storage just like you would have an option to delete.

I just use my focus food and split stacks, untill inv full, if I need to loot something I make space by merging 1 food item. And I can continue to loot until the stack is full. I usually carry 1 silk at all times, because I usually catch all bugs that I see with silk, and the bug will just go in overflow while I just loot the silk.

I was thinking yesterday. Maybe part of why they’ve been adding more reasons to do certain skills is because they’re doing the specialization tree thing! Like say hitting level 50 in furniture making unlocks knitting/ weaving. Or hitting level 50 in bug catching unlocks bee hiving. Actually farming could unlock a lot, wine making/brewing, weaving from the cotton, ranching. So many new skills could up the cozy 🥰

i love hotpot but i do wish i could get more décor. i have over 70 unopened fireworks, and about that any ingredient bags. yesterday i used 40 coins to spin and was almost split even between fireworks and ingredient bags. the ingredient are nice but so many , only 4 decor out of playing every day and 3 plushies. but play everyday thinking i might have a chance. Reason they are unopened is that i have soooo many fireworks that i did open and taking so much room im trying to deplete them to free up storage

I've been running some stats, almost half of the bags will be ingredients, and a quarter of the bags fireworks. Gold is currently at ca 17%, decor, plushies and Zeki coins share the few percent that are left...

@vagrant star i was being a bit sarcastic, due to my lousy luck with hotpot isn't great. i did 36 spins yesterday day won 1 100 gold bag rest was firecrackers and ingredients . in the past i have won a pirate flag since hotpot started down under i have gotten. 2 fish plushy and a chappa plushy. i usually save up to 20 to 50 coins. every now and then i will cash out that pay. i wasn't doubting anything you said only speaking of my lousy luck. but i still addicted to hotpot.

Finn, its still fun even if i just win firecrackers, i see ppls great prizes i dont envy them but what am i to do with all those fireworks. It is still enjoyable. This game has helped me through so many hospital stays. i started on switch then used my laptop. The entertainment value of ppl in the underground are worth every firecracker i get. all those ppl fussing over little squabbles is priceless

going back to the cosmetic thing i just woke up and just know saw it in general. there ARE ways to give players who cant afford 50$ cosmetic be it clothing or pet....or background.... seasonal event stuff! like 12 days of christmas logins! or halloween day login! so meany options and while yes...its timed event...its at least something for free players to possabily get new cosmetic or even a pet for christmas they could drop a little gnome pet thats super rare and only seen in the ElderWoods!.

That's been the issue for awhile now. S6 refused to give a roadmap of any kind so it's impossible to even know what's on the horizon or what they're working towards.

In my mind there has to be at least several new zones added before they launch into a 1.0 release but... It's almost been a year and there hasn't even been one.

Did you go back to talk to the gardener, assuming also that you finsihed ||the temple bundle and recieved the galdaur staue||? I believe you have to go back a couple times and chat with him, hekla, and/or einar to advance those quest lines.

My best guess based on the wording for when they introduced her is that when they get rid of those intro quests, it'll be like she was always there for everyone, so she can roam around like everyone else. But until then, unless they put in some kind of instance system (LotRO did this a ton for their NPCs!), she has to be holed up

I remember LotRO (plenty of other games do it too, but LotRO always stuck out to me) changing where some NPCs were/if they were located there or not/etc based on where you were in the story and what quests you'd done

They're becoming more dishonest with their original stances on monetisation and have become more obvious about shilling their premium currency and framing it as "content" when it's not content at all because you can't earn it in game

yes! I love free realms and this felt like it could be a spiritual successor but its not even going to get the chance to be anymore because capitalism

free realms is truly one of my favourite games and I miss it dearly. I think it would thrive in the modern era now because gaming has become more social again. A couple temples, building blocks, and hotpot does not make for meaningful content additions in almost a year since game opened up in “beta”. You can't do roots until you have Eye of the Storm which you don't get until you finish Temple of Gales. I did this recently with a secondary character (which I started due to the frustration of the Temple of Gales bug).

Also reth, tish, and zekis level 5 quests are all related to one another if I recall correctly (I haven't done the quests yet, I'm saving them) so perhaps if you keep increasing Tishs friendship the zeki thing will resolve. Also some friendship points ams quests are just a lil bugged rn, for example Heklas level 4 quest triggering before you achieve full level 4 friendship. Hope this helps!

an announcement of a new map will probably also be extremely hard to miss, a new map would bring a lot of marketing opportunities to bring back old players to the game

Gosh I hope eventually we get better filters for the storage. Some groupings don't make total sense. It's really not easy to find certain items. Or at least let us manually organise it

Fences and paths definitely take a lot of item space. I limited my plot before starting to decorate and I reached my own limit so fast because of the paths, I ended up removing the small pebbles and that removed over 100 item space alone. I also changed some of my paths to using the stone building blocks flooring, that also helped because I removed so much small pavement.

I knew from the start when they announced the paths that they will become a huge problem, because placing 1 tiny tile at a time is definitely item space consuming and we don't have enough, if you want flowers and paths and big house. And the trees being bugged and counting on all the plots to the item limit also don't help.

Also fences is you have 1 by one placed or just smaller pieces of fences instead of the full fence, change that it will help a bit.

Howdy Palians! I have been playing on and off for a few months, but I am honestly so frustrated that many of the reward require you to be in a party. I've tried to find folks to play with - no luck. The one time I did see someone willing to invite me to a party - they were on PC and the invite didn't show up on my switch version of the game.

It’s only 4-5 pieces of the same type of furniture that require a party. I just grouped with my husband to get them. Other than that, I’ve achieved everything else solo in this game.

Im concerned about this being in perpetual beta, and im just spending money on somethig that isnf even here to stay.

7 Days to Die made that latter call a few days ago after 11 years of early access. Those I talked to who follow development say it's just business as usual now and for the future. Whatever the devs want you to call it hardly matters.

Into The Radius 2 is one of the few games who seems to actually be treating the system right most recently. Their early access is actually early access and they have a good record of being upfront and supportive

That hasn't happened yet, because the quest is not done, we have to finish "strange things afoot" which is not released to is yet. I believe that is where most players would quit. Right now, it's still just clothing and pets, which have always been premium. If they go back on their word of keeping the gameplay completely free, i believe the game would die within a month.
It's one thing to add new things as premium. It's an entirely different one to go back on a promise of all gameplay features that aren't cosmetic being free.

I think a main issue with Palia being an online service game is that by design it's easier to progress most skills while playing in singleplayer, with the only exceptions being cooking and foraging

Cooking in bulk (grillers and firecamps)
Buying bulk on shops not 1 per click
Interactable pets
More interactions with furnitures like beds and toilets/showers.
More huntable animals more bugs to catch and fishes.
More wallpapers and floor designs
Upgrades of inventory and bags ( golden/palium inventory chest )

I think it’d be so cool if there were plot upgrades aside from unlocking placeable area. Imagine getting an upgrade outside of the deco area for a new building type that you can take care of animals, or hell, just unlocking the path to Bahari instead of it being a de facto you can go from the start thing.
