This Harvest House will work IF/WHEN they add second floor buildings that attach to it. As of right now? It's more or less just a library building and they really should have just named it that

Yeah, I think (HOPE) it's just something they could throw in early while developing the future system. For now it's just a shame it's a library room that for some reason HAS to be your main entrance and core of your home.

It’s a start. They can’t add 2nd floors, without having the main 2nd floor. You can do other things with it, like set up your display tables and bookshelves.

The pillars stack vertically and look nice so you can technically now have a wall at the maximum vertical height!

As all 2nd stories in the game. They don’t have much decorating potential. They are to make the foyers be more grand. Like this new harvest house. Eventually we will get 2nd stories to add. This is the start, to that.

BOOKS...this is how they think we wanted books to work I guess. I can't put these any closer. SOME places let me put them where they should go, but many books just literally can't be placed next to any other books.

My only disappointment with it, is the spiral staircase. I think it’s cute and in some other room with 2nd stories, it will be good. For the foyer, I was hoping for a more grand staircase!

Yeah, its kind of weird seeing people just quickly resort to that or saying its switch and bait when you only see the outside look of the grand harvest house. A fix for that would to be to show off both the outer and inner of the new stuff so people don't have to try and set unrealistic expectations.

This too! I honestly expected a 2nd story to some capacity, and not just a balcony. I can understand it in the grand scheme of things if it's for an "entry" way or something similar, though. But yeah, i also expected some form of 2nd floor a bit more than what's there currently.

But you shouldn't invalidate how other people feel, and that's the problem. It's fine for people to be disappointed by something. Esp cuz... when I hear a 2nd story, I imagine a bit more room. I can understand where the disappointment comes from, and being displeased.

I'm re-reading the patch notes as well, and it says::

...They seem to really showcase the second story in that description, which again, makes me picture a proper floor. I honestly didn't want one anyways, so it doesn't matter to me personally, but I fully understand the disappointment, etc, in regards to that.

A two story building is a building which has the height of two stories. A two floor building is one that has distinct separated floors AND is two stories tall. A loft apartment with a second story (but not complete second floor) is still two stories.

Not to be dismissive but I also just don’t think it’s that huge of a deal. It’s a misunderstanding if you don’t know what the difference between two stories and two floors is, they didn’t show the inside because that defeats the purpose of finding new things and getting to experience it as you unlock things.

I think this is a lot of anger and upset over a slight wording misunderstanding that doesn’t really matter at all. The description they gave was not inaccurate, it was just vague enough that people felt confused which is their right. But there’s no point getting upset and defensive when you ask for clarification on the difference and it’s given to you, it’s just not what you wanted to hear.

You have to read all of the tomes in the Temple of Flames - found in Bahari (idk the exact location of the temple off the top of my head)

There are guides as to where the tomes are. There are 7 tomes, many players are reporting that it is bugged. They get all 7 tomes and the achievement does not proc for them.

Overall, this update has pretty much put a massive target on their item limit situation unless they can come up with a solution

I was REALLY hoping we'd see texture painting for the ground like in the Sims, not more item problems

Tbh never looked at them in their little cage lol. But it used to be the blue ones were the ones flying everywhere and the green were rare. Now it’s green ones everywhere, and the photo icon matches that.

Yeah originally the rare ones were green and basic were blue. There was a bug that switched them. I think they gave up on fixing it and made it a permanent switch. As the new plush that the paper lantern bugs drop, is also green

Steam also goes through a whole verifying/patching procress-- so once you have the update installed, it'll go through and verify all the files afterwards. that's the process that takes longer

spot in thorny thicket above tamala's house and water cave where a grove can spawn there's a platform that's raised above the rest of the area with a few trees and across the river of statue garden there's another cliff area that's lower than the surrounding areas. use to be muujin would spawn there and you could just cut the 4 trees down and send them into a glitched mode where they would run around looking for trees to hide, and couldn't jump area from the area. easy pickings. use to solo the blue bristles all the time

When you start palia for the first time through the steam launcher it will ask you to connect. But as I said that doesnt have anything to do with the twitch drops. You should just link your palia account directly to twitch, so not just your steam. And you do that on the twitch website

Palia -> Steam (So you can play the game on Steam with the same account)
Palia -> Twitch (For Drops)
Palia -> Nintendo (So you can play on Switch)

In case anyone was wondering, the new building blocks can stack higher than fish tanks, but there is a new elevation cutoff around 24 blocks high that teleports you back to the front of your property. This is even slightly lower than I was able to get before with the 40 item limit. That was patched out EARLY in the beta, your storage is shared between plots and caps at 8 iron chests

You're not wrong. The paper lantern bug used to be blue (except when displayed as star quality), and the rare one was green (except displayed, etc). They swapped them this patch, so they now actually resemble how they look displayed in their terrariums

yes! it’s just a bit tedious if you want it exactly in the center. just remove all of the stairs into the center and you’re golden!

Ladybug- 2 seperate runs got it in the second run at 8 and again at 10
Lantern- was roughly 50ish?
Fairy Moth- 2 lures got 3 plushies

-noting that I had a full party with me at all times when plushie hunting to get these so they also got the same drops as well. Definitely gives you higher chances especially for the ladybug
