high fov creates a visual effect called "fisheye" that makes the corners round and distorted, lemme look for the .ini file to change the fov manually

Push Windows +R keys at the same time and in the box paste this:

Then, look for this line:

GraphicSettings=(FOV=) and change the fov to a the desired one, i suggest something like 70-80

ty, I ended up manually changing the Engine.ini file, and then I saw a reddit post about how the FOV setting always looks like 30 on the UI but it retains the actual FOV you select, natively at around 90. So I set it back to 90, and it looked distorted, but looked like when I relogged. Apparently it won't truly update until you change locations or relog.

Between the teleports and self-heal the white muujin can be a pain to deal with

prey AI is so "jumpy" and also it triggers some kind of exception when they crash into a obstacle that makes them teleport to a nearby area

i know lmao. the issue is in most parts of the map, it's difficult to get a clear shot to hit it 5 times before it gets into another tree, especially if there were other muujins in the tree. if you're with other people it's easier, but solo it's pretty difficult

The bug has never been purely visual for everyone and it very well might not still be for all anyone is aware so please make sure you're giving correct information! Whether the system is still keeping track of your stuff is not a 100% guarantee and just be careful as such

We don't have reports from anyone who had their achievements "fixed" that patched in regards to whether pulling an item out of storage will mark it off in the current play session. I theorize it based on the similar request bug but there ain't enough data but it's a theory

see, I have completely different experience in that I'm glitched and completing accomplishments by just getting the things I remembered I was missing. I can't see anything, it's blank yet I got the accomplishment for completing it like normal even though it shows up as empty.

Specifically. Everything is reset to blank but I knew I only did hot hounds starred to finish the accomplishment. I made it anyway and it I finished what was missing just like I would have if it wasn't glitched. Only hot hounds showed up for that play session and the very next session it's blank but marked as completed. I'm working on my fish now since i remember which one of those I'm missing until they fix this.

It would be fun if once all the Main Quest are finished, another Main Quest is given by Subira, Jina, Kenyetta. He has lots of unopened ruin doors. After the quests of friendship and romance, these characters continue to give us quests despite everything. If not, we forget to talk to them since we couldn't do anything with them.

The game has weird shaders and lighting that really messes up the colors of a lot of things. Easiest example to see is any of the "blonde/yellow" hair colors in the character maker screen end up looking gray or silver

The official art also shows ashura with one whited out eye which looks like its blind from an injury cause theres a scar running across is, but in game both eyes look fine

Do you think Palia will leave Beta this year?
I am also wondering what the difference would be to the current status. The game is publicly available to everyone. Even after release new content will be added so it’s not like there is a final state of the game to wait for.
Even the price won’t change like it is with games like Diablo and their Beta tests.
So isn’t "Beta" only a label? And the game won’t change with an official release.

In this case leaving beta is more for getting the game out on all systems they want it for, and fixing any bugs that are here, as well as rounding out the polish of the overall game experience with lag improvements and graphics.

They will keep introducing new content as well so there mostly is not a new content end date. They may have some kind of plan to have the world up to a certian number of npcs and maps to also release it from beta. Being at that point itll be closer to "the core being completed" while new stuff could be added whenever

When placed in the 8+9 position of one farm plot, these things will "creep" towards the 5+6 spot. Interacting with a watering can or much of anything else, will cause them to "jump" back into their actual positions.

There are 4 fishing spots in ToG, each will yeild a cloudminnow, just be careful with them not to prep a food dish that uses fish. 3 out of 4 of mine got eaten that way, but support was able to return them. You'll know if the fishing spot is cleared, as a no-bait hook will pop back out telling you there are no fish here. The simple fix would be to simply reset the fish count all four have been fished, just in case.

My story is a little different - I caught pink glow bugs, loads of them, and I caught fish, all of them, and I found eggs, 15 of them. And Elouisa wandered off, then Zeki wandered off, and eventually even Caleri wandered off, so I kept making lap after lap after lap, but the fan in front of the nest never got turned on, so I left, went and did other things for a while, came back, figured I'd try again. A few dozen more laps, still no fan, and no more eggs to find, and the Scoobie Doo Gang were all missing, so I said "You Only Respawn Repeatedly" and made a glider jump. Knew I'd come up short, but respawned on the last island, and all three stooges were there. Elouisa accepted the last bits of evidence, Caleri accepte the fish, and Zeki just wants to know what's up, and won't even talk about the locked door, the lock, or the piece of the key I found, so quest-over.

Well, no the quest isnt over. You have to give Zeki the fragment to open the door so you can get the remaining chest and there is also an item in there as well, then you go to the puzzle, once you finish the puzzle and go back to kilima to the temple to start your bundles..At least thats what's suppose to happen. Me, I'm like you, I'm stuck on the Eye of the Storm quest because, like you, Zeki will not accept my fragment I have to open the door, he has no flag above his head.

eh... honestly im probably just going to drop the game entirely. im a completionist, and when theres something in a game i cant complete, it makes me not want to play it. not trying to be rude, but at this point ive tried everything

I can't believe the only outfit options we have, other than the handful of outfits available during character creation, have to be purchased. There's a perfectly good NPC who could be teaching us the art of Tailoring, and we could have yet another skill to grind, more materials to collect, more devices to buy for our homes, and we could then produce "new" (pre)designs, just like furniture, only with a decay bar. Once the outfit is fully decayed, it goes away, and we either make another one, or we get tired of having to hunt down rare materials and serve the whims of RNGesus, and buy the premium version that won't "fall apart" over time.

The whole Climbing bug is getting to the point of near game breaking, with Hunting and Bug Catching, where they can disappear from TOUCHING another texture, i.e. a rock sticking out of the ground, a tree, etc... and BAM! They're 50 feet from that location, or teleport behind you, fall through the map, or even get moved ACROSS the map...! That's for ALL bugs, chapaa, and sernuk.

Pricing is definitely something they're still figuring out. They really ought to have gotten more data on how to price the outfits. There's lots of information out there about what people are going to be willing to drop on virtual items.

If I had to guess, they're thinking S6 is going to suddenly top the charts, when in reality, it's a middling game. It doesn't have enough content at the moment to warrant people whaling on the game, just enough to go "hey, this is like tamagachi a little bit". A social looting game, without any violence... although they do mention past wars and activities of their forebears and even Sifuu is a retired Warrior turned black smith.
Compared to Borderlands and even Warframe, the prices of their cosmetics, again, do not warrant payment in general... especially with the general use freebie cosmetics they gave us being just as good, if not even better overall for general playing and running around.

you get copper from the grey and brown rocks in the kilima valley! they will be all over the valley, but i like to start at where einar fishes and follow the coast/hills all the way to the farm that badruu lives in. clay is the solid brown rocks along the coast that einar fishes at as well! as for recipes, if you are mining and get a gemstone, sell them all !! or if you have started gardening, investing in tomatos can be a good technique because they give multiple harvests

There are quests that can't be finished, no bulk crafting, mining and hunting are problematic. Chat is dead since it's very hard for people on Switch to chat. It's like one step forward and three backwards right now. S6 hasn't been forthcoming with info. We got a developers letter that basically said "you'll get what we give you when we give it" and that was it.

To my knowledge, there isn't a compiled list, but I do know that for a time there was a channel for flagging/reporting errors in the game's censoring. It appears to have either been locked or temporarily removed, so if you're seeing everyday, innocent words being censored, you may have to submit them via bug report to get them in front of an S6 employee.

so i found a hilarious bug. if you try fishing and slip in the water while casting your line( I did this at a bubbling spot), when it fades to black and you respawn, you will still have your line cast from far away. you wont be able to fish and you can glide around in the fishing animation. every tool you hold looks funny when you hold it, and you hold the glider vertically in front of your face

They really do need to add in a Quick Message system for Switch. For Callouts, "Flow Tree or Palium Node near me"- (would put in the location you're closest to as an interest point and the compass direction of that point of interest) - As you proceed with firing a flare for reassurance.

I got it this week... unicorn like 2 days ago so probably after the fix.. with that said, I asked for help getting the unicorn and a person told me: ||to stand on the island by the light house (the one you fly down to) fishing with the glow worm facing south west towards the windy ruins and around 2pm game time he caught his... sure enough at 1:46 game time I caught mine doing exactly just that. I fished for maybe that morning, not very aggressively and then payed attention more during that hour from 1-2 with fishing buffs from food||

it took me over 300 attempts at the unicorn fish before that in other locations... forget about the void ray that took twice as many worms because I kept forgetting not to reel it in

if you are on the server before 6am I think that might help chances or at least in my head I feel like it does... The day I got it, I came in the server right before 1, gave it a quick attempt without success and then waited until the next game morning to start fishing again (getting flow in the interm etc..) resumed normal fishing and that's when I got it , if you want exact recreation...
