I create my own multiplayer activities like hide and seek. I’d love to find new ways to be interactive with other players though.

But there is a lot of in-game interaction. First MMO I really paid attention to chat in. I love that part & helping other players

More co-op activities, mini games, and interesting uses for renown and other backed up materials would definitely be helpful. My main sticking point right now is primary quests being broken though, since that's keeping me from engaging too much with the storyline. I'm probably going to miss out on the winter event - hopefully it comes back next year.

I enjoy Palia and the eye candy is marvelous but for the last decade I have been on Steam doing Early Access testing for games in development etc. The red flag is when updates slow down bugs keep coming in qwick fixes that don't last and no communication. Its best to search out finished games get your hard copies and a switch xbox whatevs so as to have a back up when you can not access server networks for one reason or another. I have been getting games for Swith My Time at Sandrock gets a score of 10 from me

my issue with palia's multiplayer activities is largely that almost all of it is 'parallel play'

I don't qualify for it to trigger (same with Subira's quests). I've completed the tutorial and most of the introductories, but there are some it wants you to do before the mail to start that content will even arrive. Coupled with all the 'my account is broken' 'quest is stalled' feedback I've been seeing, I've decided to just wait for the game to be in a more stable state before I attempt to play through the story.

Well, the chests are out in the world for everyone, but there's a separate quest with the villagers that also grants you a tree for your home; that's the one that I don't qualify for.

I think the most annoying quest in this game so far is the gazeebo requirement.WTH how redundant why do I need so many plots unlocked? Why? one is enough or even better open up the entire map plus the broken wall and abandoned mine area in the back. But 5 plots and 175K gold ?? Eeesh

I love that people do this, but it's hilarious to think about in real life. You see a flyer for a 'cake party' at an address. You go, expecting a house or maybe a party center. No. It's an open meadow. There are 30 ovens and a bunch of tables arranged in a neat assortment. A dump truck is backing up to the property to unload a metric ton of sweetleaf plants. You sheepishly leave your baseball bat in the car, having misunderstood the call for a 'batter'.

That's what I expected, actually, as that's been the case in other MMOs I play. You start up the game, make your character, play through a tutorial and then they release you, frisky free, into a shiny new game world. Seasonal festivals are open to you, and are used by the company as a way to draw in new players and reward returning ones.

Here, however, you finish the tutorial and then have to keep completing invisible objectives before you can engage with the content. I almost wonder if it was a mistake, because the Maji Market had no such restrictions (that I know of). You could just go and do.

it also doesn’t help that subiras quest chain is also unlocked at the same time so i think it distracts from winter stuff and vice versa, think keeping hers for after the 3 quests though might be ok as your expiring and gaining resources but seen a lot of new players just too overwhelmed with the silk and palium part

When does the daily rummage pile respon for the day?

A gripe I've had for a while is that a lot of the game just.. is not explained. At least, not explained in or by the game. A lot of reference here in the server or on the wiki seems to be required for way too much. I was thumbing through my quest log the other day (both completed and unfinished quests) and there's almost no information there. An NPC says something to you a single time in a dialogue window you can't access again and then if you don't remember their clue or whatever, good luck from there.

I'd really love to see more clarity for quests and festivals and limited-time stuff like Subira's arrival. If it's this confusing now, I don't look forward to trying to explain to someone just starting a year from now.

I just spent almost an hour trying to coax people to help with three huge flow trees.

They should make easy chat emotes or quick click phrases for people on console. There also needs to be a little glow indicator on your screen — like a small green haze of to the side that lets you know the direction a flare went off.

Eshe for example is rude af to you, when your friendship goes up, she start becoming more tolerable and even excited when you show up to talk, which I love for her character, she's deep in politics and gets charmed by your earnest. But that does mean you have to just smile and nod for 2 levels of friendship while she's mean.

It's not youe net its the game itself. The travel failure bug has been around for a while. The only thing known to help some people at all is to take all of your furniture out of storage snd place it down in your plot

For some reason the more furniture you have stored the worse it seems to get. I was getting travel failures every 10-30mins but once i emptied it out i almost never get them anymore. Once rs2 came out, there was massive outcry for the old version so ppl started to make private servers, then when they jumped up to rs3 they lost nearly their entire legit playerbase cause all had moved to private servers. One dude at jagex found the code for the old 2007 version and pulled it together and they had a pole which people voted if they wanted that version brought back. It ended up having like 3million votes for yes or somethin crazy like that and thats why we still have osrs!

(etc)" and then a way to ping a location. That would help a lot.

Customization is oddly limited and locked in. And like, I don't need to have them make a thousand different body models, but why is everyone in the world the same height with a BMI of 20?
It would make the mmo aspect of seeing others in town feel much less generic if we could have different heights and body weights/sizes. Pretty far down the wishlist of things, but it seems strange to preach all about inclusivity in the text of the game then have just 2 bodies to choose from.
