Assuming you've hunted masked creatures, that sounds odd. I heard one of the rings is bugged, though I don't know whose - the one that boosts rare drops. If you wear it, unequipping it might help.

Does the highlands have growable decorative flowers and yeah Elderwood mossy fins aren't coming out starred either theres a brokem pond near the elderwood stable too. In fact there's a lot of issues with the game that haven't been solved. But jaakats drop starred sillyfins and the nodes for fishing aren't working properly in highlands but some parts of elderwood in a specific location will have starred fish spots that will just bug put and nevet give starred fish. Mostly the one where you get the elderwood branch recipe.

Midnight plush was the first to drop for me, which is weird since it’s usually the middle plushies that are stubborn for me. Took me longer to get the regular jaakcat plush

Mid tier plushies are usually the hardest to get. Lowest tier animals are the most abundant so its easy to kill more. Highest tier animals have a higher drop rate percentage, so even tho u kill less you're more likely to get the plushie when you do kill one. But the middle tier still has a low drop rate, and are more rare to come across, so they tend to be the most difficult to get!

Personally id say more "essential" without the saddle to guide if you're looking at proper contact etc. It's all in what you prefer. There's isn't likely to be a bareback judge around if you're just chilling...lol. I think its a once you learn, most don't go back.

Just keep chopping. We don't know for sure but we do broadly suspect something is up with either the RNG of the amber or the Amadeus ring. If you're wearing the ring, swap to another one. I've seen multiple accounts of players taking off the ring and finding what they're after within minutes.

also for fishing spots theres a few around but any inside freshwater will only give you saltwater fish right now. I fished up all the saltwater starred fish i needed that way 😂

So I think all the relics might be bugged for me. I hunted exclusively masked creatures for the last few days with 0 mask drops, using different relics. I just unequipped all relics and got a mask on the very next try.

Amadeus is highly likely to be bugged, for now until we hear back from the team don't wear it,
Halward is just for tool effectiveness.
Belafontine does increase resource gathering but it works like the party boost, its not constant, however it does provide a nice boost to jadium gathering
Eloine is a straight boost to echo gain and nothing more

I wear eloine almost exclusively and haven't had any issue with getting masks, haven't seen a starred once since RH first came out, but I'm not after starred ones, I gathered enough to open the vaults, now I just need to get a minimum 10 of each for any future content

I have noticed that similar to when I was hunting the coloured eggs for the previous bulletin board that some servers give a lot more than others, and it applies to masks as well

If I'm not getting what I want within a hour of game play i'll switch servers and that typically increases my odds of getting the item i'm after, or atleast feels like it does

I fished loads of spots in the bay yesterday and not one starred fish came out of them.

You don't actually need starred fish for that, if you have one that it can use, it will show all as starred, but they can be normal quality, and it will still work.

I've noticed a lot of players were able to finish it and a lot of players were not. I know a couple tickets were sent in prior to the hotfix regarding this but I wasn't sure if they fixed it at all?
