if they're ready to harvest, all you should have to do is go up to them and then hit the button the game prompts you. which for PC i think is F. i'm not sure what the button is on switch

each type of crop has it's own 'days to harvest' time.. which means different crops will take a different amount of in game days (or cycles) until they are ready to harvest. In most cases you will need to water crops every day and de-weed the plots.

This can change slightly, later on, with the use of different fertilizers and crop properties like water retention and other boosts.

As stated above when they are ready to harvest you should see the crop/fruit looking visibly ready as well as a 'harvest' prompt! 🙂

You'll need to upgrade your axe in order to chop harder wood like heartwood. You'll be able to chop sapwood with the starting axe though ^^ the seed drop rate is low though, so keep that in mind

Was testing weedplot thing with all crops be ripe at weedplot and it immediately bugged my plot to crops not growing at 6am when I'm out of the plot. I made just 1 of the crops at weed plot not ripe, so I could water it, it fixed the bug

Nice, I just couldn't find any information about if having all ripe crops at weedplot solve the bug issue or buggs plot immediately. And from what you've answered before seemed like you had no issues for weeks. For me on the contrary it happened immediately with all ripe crops. So just wanted to add some data for statistics

I make 50-68k on a day I can frequently tend to my garden using hecka seeders

But if you want tatos, yours is wonderful!

:p the planner can't account for online time and processing time. In the time you get two potato harvests, id get 3 rice harvests and 2 wheat harvests

But do you. Just know the numbers on the planner aren't accurate they're just base figures.

I didn't make nearly as much per 24 hours doing all tato with harvest boost as I did with rice and wheat, due to the short growth and processing.

i guess to mix both you should have a garden with a little bit of every crop so you can cook anything :)
but then you can also have 100% water rentention so you only have to water once, unless you like to water then just focus on harvest boosting I suppose

Okay I'm out of the car that was really messing with my train of thought lol! Sadly the way I did it was a game of patience. I separate a plot off to the side (and I let the crops on it fully grow so there's no bug that happens with watering) and only weed the other plots eventually letting the separated plot completely weed

I don't think weed blocking everything would work because the weeds still randomly choose a tile to weed on and it's either blocked or it's not, it won't speed up the non weed blocked tiles being weeded

Because the weeds target a random tile every day, it doesn't force it to choose a non weed blocked tile, it will always randomly target tiles whether blocked or not

XD profits aren't exactly that because I jam everything and worm farm the jam XD (pickled tomatoes in worm farm and seeded potatoes)

easy options would be apple/bb jam or cake if you do cake parties. Or just directly sweet leaf (if you only need small amount for that one quest) or any other recipe that uses sweet leaf.

Know that the income is just basic numbers. What you actually profit depends on how often you can log in to tick growth, how many crafter you have, etc. if you have 20 crafters you're gonna make more faster. The garden planner can't account for that

You can actually get marginally more profit if you replace the leftmost cotton with rice, but I'm always short on cotton so I keep that lol.

bb are the second worse crops for profit (as raw crop). Turning them into seeds helps to offset that slightly (great g/h), but they are mostly useful for the growth boost (along with apples to get close to 100% coverage of growth boost). bb/apple layout can get around 10% more profit than the first layout you posted if you login a lot.
for the first layout you will want to swap wheat/rice since rice is more profitable. Also corn is slightly more profitable than wheat so might consider this an option.

oh and 1 thing, it's very easy to memorize this layout so again thanks to whoever came up with this

Do the level 1 weekly want, then talk to the character every hour you are in the game as you can talk to them for friendship every palia day you'd be level 2 before the end of your irl day

Day 2 give level 2 weekly want continue talking

So let me get this straight. If they are level one, I can gift them one gift only. If they are level two, I can give them two gifts but I have to wait a day between gifts. Is that how it works?

Incorrect i shall explain

There are 4 wants they can tell you they want
Out of those 4 wants you can only gift them according to your friendship level with them.
You will also only be able to gift once per IRL day regardless of item.
Their weekly want items count as loved gifts when fufilled, but they also generally have loved, liked, and neutral gifts.

Basically they can give you 4 "fetch quests" a week if you put it another way

But aside from that they also already have gifts they can be neutral for , like, or love regardless

Always able to only gift once per day and one item of its type per week (cannot give someone an iron ore one day and an iron ore another day in the same week for example)

Did a lil testing with relogging, crops are fine, but will keep an eye on them maybe it's a matter of time.
Also I redid only 1 spot with riped weedplot recently (since I had a bug immediately after ripe weedplot, so I switched to watering 1 spot for one time and then let it go ripe again and weed it back and it seemed to have no issues since then)

question on tomatoes. I know it grows for 4 days and then you can pick it and then you get 3 more tomatoes every 2 days. My question is, if you don't get back to pick the extra tomatoes exactly every 2 days, do you miss out? I mean, does the tomato plant die in 10 days, regardless of how many tomatoes you get from it? Or does it wait for you to pick, then it grows for 2 days and waits until you pick the next tomato and so on until you got all 4 tomatoes from the plant.

Hope that made some sense. Sorry if it doesn't. Tomatoes just work so differently from the other crops and I'm trying to wrap my brain around it. lol

Yep first tree plot 1 time then make more seeds with the first few harvests :)

oh and if you want a blueberry bush in it, it can replace 1 of the 2 pepper spots in that layout

so, probably fast growing plants such as carrots or rice or the multi-harvest type crops. i don't know if different crops give different amount of exp

Can I make one suggestion for your document? If you can add how much of each seeds you need for that certain plot. Like you did with the first 9 soil plot picture. It helps A LOT with keeping your seeds in stock, so you know how much of the crops you can sell/ produce further. (Mostly for potatoes, tomatoes, blueberries and apples)

Currently counting the seeds needed for the "First apple tree" picture and can send those if wanted.
