if we really get the exit via that mine in the north of our housing plot to bahari outskirts, it will be quite easy to get home and back to where you were before, because the outskirt fast travel has been moved to the empty mine in the west of bahari bay. I guess, both will be connected in future.

that is just meant for the first cooking levels, first grilling mushrooms, then grilling meat and fish until you get a stove and prep station recipe for free. Then real cooking starts.

glad you like it, It surprised me as well, how comforting a small kitchen actually feels. In my country kitchens come with the house and they tend to be very spacious and open towards a big dining area as well. A small, separated kitchen has a quite different feel to that, but I really love it.

If you select 'use star quality ingredients' it shouldn't let you use normal ingredients if you have star quality ones (unless they are in safe storage)

That’s fine — the issue was the other way tho. We had star ingredients for a regular recipe and it wouldn’t allow us to use them.

We are all past level 25 cooking so produce basically only star crops at this point. If we can’t use star crops in basic recipes, we basically can’t cook them

star quality is RNG based and is never guaranteed, a few things that give you a better chance at it tho are cooking speed, star quality ingredients and accuracy during the mini games

When you cook with another player, each person gets their own stack of the food cooked with only one set of ingredients. The idea behind a cake party is that if a large group gets together with their portion of ingredients, you can make a lot of cake for cheaper than when you’re alone. Think of it like a potluck but you bring ingredients, not the whole food. Everyone gets a stack of cakes after baking to sell for gold.

If you want to make even more gold toss the cakes in glow worm stations and sell the glow worms and fertilizer it makes over time.

You can do the same thing for normal worm stations but their outputs fill up very fast so you cannot leave it running for long

• ||Become lv3 friends with Badruu and he will give you some Blueberry seeds||
• ||Become lv3 friends with either Zeki or Nai'o for Apple Seeds||
• Or you can become lv10 in gardening and will be able to buy Blueberry and Apple seeds from Badruu, since they unlock at that level.

So, we did some experiments this is what we found -

Playing the minigame gives you the Dish, giving ingredients (ex. Starting cutting but pressing F n moving back, which leave the ingredient on the table)or collecting final item does nothing, for Oven Collecting the item at the end counts as the minigame/gives the dish
Starter always gets
Playing any minigame will do, so someone can start, n two people can do two different stirs n all 3 will get

Idk if this is a bug, if u have starred ingredients n click to switch it, it shows total number (✨ + non star) n uses the star anyway

Leaving a plot while cooking ends the cooking n gives a ruined food, switching to a different housing plot does nothing.

Recipes that have the final mix/flip n a ingredient after it, only need to add the ingredients before the mix/flip listed in the listing direction, but after the mix/flip adding the last listed ingredient(usually spring onion) n ending cooking doesn't give dish

• holy crap it DOES let you stop!!! oh gosh this will save so much time lost to "oopsie" even if the ingredient is unrecoverable
• if you interact again, it doesn't save your minigame progress (for either stirring or chopping)
• the ingredient stays on the table with the "a party member is working on this" icon
• if you go to another prep station it asks for another of the ingredient (doesn't move with you), and the ingredient you left on the first one is still consumed at the end of the recipe along with the second one you actually prepped
• but whaaaat happens if another person starts at the prep table where you left the ingredient... 🤔

Does this include things like the final assembly for Petit Fives, putting the unbaked Muujin Bahari in the oven, and things like that? Or is it only the "add spring onion" one specifically?

"F to quit" irks me a little, though, because I can't think of a single other thing in the game where if you press F to interact, pressing F again exits. It's always Esc (or the "lol sorry did you mean to pick me? actually manually click the button" Modification bench -_-)

and yeah, Esc is how you back out of every other menu other than the minigame...

If u do, you'd just continue to minigame

If someone else does, they would be playing the minigame and as a result get the item. You won't, as adding the ingredient doesn't get the dish but only playing the games(+collecting from oven, n starter) gets the dish

Adding an item to oven or stove or supplying an ingredient in any way, except with playing a minigame after, does nothing

Only n only, if u play the minigame, which in some dishes is activated by adding the last ingredient (where mixing/stirring is listed after all the ingredients) but in dishes where an ingredient is listed after the minigame is not (then it lets you activate manually after u add all ingredients listed upto the minigame in the recipe Listing), then u get

Basically u cook u get, u don't, u don't get. Supplier don't matter

Oh I see, this was a separate question... the values listed on the wiki are. Well, they're supposed to be the cheapest possible value using the cheapest possible ingredients, but I've found that sometimes it's not accurate.

In truth, if you use ingredients with different sell values (outside of starred or not) in your dishes, you will end up with different sell values on the resulting food.

For example, with fish stew, you can use ANY fish in the game. If you use a gillyfin (sell price 20g) the sell price of the dish will be lower than if you use a mudminnow (23g). If you use a mountain morel for an "any mushroom" recipe, it will come out with less sell value than if you use a brightshroom. etc.

I still don't understand what makes steak dinner turn out with different sell values, though...

I think/feel like they're more likely to spawn at night/evening, but that could be confirmation bias. They show up all over, but I think they share spawn points with the sundrops and the sweet leaf, so going through and clearing those out might help get you your mushrooms.

But like with everything else that's fairly common, it's everywhere until you need it and then it's impossible to find.

I learned my lesson on the sweet leaf, and now I don't ignore it just because I'm mining or hunting that trip.

actually that is what I expected, failure leading to chaos and stress and eventually toxic behavior, because it effects everyone participating in the same way. Tolerance and openness is rare nowadays, where cancel culture is on the rise - and people do not even realize, that it's taking away their freedoms, because this is what totalitarian systems are about, not a free and open society. Unfortunately such behavior gets more and more common in games as well, where newbies get bullied and not given a chance to participate and being allowed to make mistakes for a while.

tbh I've seen this process occur over and over on online games (and other spaces): The existing/veteran playerbase gradually develops a set of skills and also a set of conventions for what is expected in terms of what is considered rude or polite, what is "common sense," etc. As a result, you end up with this organically-developed knowledge set that nobody really remembers learning, exactly. They "just know" these things, so that it seems like they should be obvious. But newer players (or returning players who learned under a different set of conditions) haven't had the same time and experience to develop this knowledge in that organic way.
