It might be just regular arrows you can get. I just changed it to say only the things that you can get from the pile need to be maxed, because I realized it might not be all arrows.

i tend to use markers to help with lining up, like the wood plank pavers, along with taking screenshots and using them as reference

I put my large tree on a single floor piece. I did use cancelation to do this, but I don't have to leave my plot and come back every time I place a single tree because I just grab the floor and place it on the ground and all the trees snap back into place.

when it's done, you can't even see the floor, and it makes it easy to move around and place it if I want to.

im using stone blocks for the main part of the tree cause they are the only thing high enough i could use the red presents and float them but i dont wanna use all of them lol

unless you're talking about actual trees, then yeah, that's a plot reload.

and yeah, anchoring things on stuff and using that thing to "reload" without needing to do anything except moving a bit anchor

I do the same thing. There are times when you just have to reload, but I get so irritated with the constant switching plots, so I try to find every way to avoid it.

mine is going in this circle thing so the first row needs to be off the ground trying to use less trees as possible cause i have no room for anymore wood in my inventory or hoppers lol

be so much easier if they didnt do something in the way when selected from the red preset that would help so much

try placing the first hallway that is attached directly to the courtyard somewhere else, then put the 2nd hallway on the first, then drag it back from the first one

put your terrance in your inventory place a pillar on the ground pick up the pillar but dont place it go to where you want your terrace and stand in the way of the pillar till it says something in the way and then at the same time click your left mouse and the number slot your terrace is in

I have like a a stone stair build entirely of building blocks i keep on my plot especially for the 2 story houses - did tag the wrong post

you can put the chests that you get from picking them up in the world on top of eachother, but anything that stacks works really, like ninwes said some builders blocks work too, just stack them so they look like stairs and walk up them, once youre at roof level you should be able to easily pick it up

you can also just use a bouncy shroom or funguy if you have one btw

There is a way to glitch them though. You have to use the cutting tool. I posted about it here… #🏡│decor message. There is also a video about the cutting tool but it doesn’t show how to hurl the fireplace to the other side to get it partly inside your room so it looks normal. It depends, I would test first but best would be placing them all on one red present after group selecting soils

And the red present after shouldn't be placed at an angle bc then it gets messy

If you are willing to wait maybe two hours or something I can test on my soil I got placed this way

its the same way you do walls->floors but you need to grab something that goes on a wall, get it to be "in the way" and flick by pressing key with a floor you want to place; dont be shocked tho, floors tend to look way different on walls then, well, on floors as they were meant to be xd

If it's a bookshelf the Modification window will have options to fill the bookshelf with books.

If it's an outdoor item, it would have the option to add snow on top.

They could even use this as a way to "fix" some of the items that don't match the thumnail. Like an option to add glass to the dragontide sideboad.

naah floated are fine, u used to be able to place a bowl and the paver would not connect but get bumped up, then it was possible to take the bowl out without moving pavers

it changed when we got first time new housing and cottages

glitches are based on specific items properties or on mechanics and can brake if any of these get changed, i wouldnt worry for anything done with cancel placement currently, if this changes you will not miss it XD trust me

It's a weird glitch, but you kind of just have to follow the instructions and trust the process. It just works as you move those rooms around. They are the cutting tool and you just kind of watch it magically happen in front of your eyes as you do the steps.

No, because if you only have like 50 worms in a stack, it might give you worms because they can just add to the stack. The whole principle is to make it so that there's nowhere for items to go, because then you know you're not getting a recipe from that pile so you go find another pile on another server. (With the caveat that you might actually get a recipe WITH snowballs--that happened to me today... so you could actually miss a pile with a recipe this way, but there's no way to know that.)

Yes. Unless the pile was going to give you a recipe AND snowballs. But there's just no way to check for that, unfortunately.

And remember this won't force the pile to do anything. It just gives you a hint as to what is in the pile.

Well it's fine if all the snowball stacks are full. You just don't want a half full stack. At the same time, if you are okay with just getting snowballs, there's a chance you'll get a recipe, too, with the snowballs. (I got 55 snowballs only one day. Today I got 20 snowballs + snowy pavilion recipe. I am not bothering with this trick. I either get the recipes or I don't. I have the flooring already, so I don't care.)

I've seen a few people get what I got today which is the pavilion + snowballs, so there is a server out there with that on it. Since it's just 20 snowballs, you could try having one snowball stack have 80 in it, so that there's room for those snowballs. then you would probably be able to find the pile on the server with pavilion + snowballs. (When I have gotten snowballs alone, I got 55, so it would probably say inventory full for that.)

My experience with server hopping is that it's really slow if you aren't syncing to other players. Like if you leave the underground, you can't just go right back and get a new server. I usually ahve to run around a few minutes before I go back.

Yes, they will connect. They look different but the two base rooms are essentially the same with different cosmetics. When you finish the path of the kitsuu it will increase to 12 connected buildings (one of the prizes on the path is an increase in that limit).

So you could float some extras off of red presents, but I’m not sure at all if they would connect in a meaningful way in terms of having stairs up into them. You can get them to connect side by side in the air (I’ve successfully done that), and you can definitely get them to look connected vertically, but I just don’t know about stairs.

Fingers crossed! But just checking... you probably know this but just in case because there have been people surprised to discover this, there is another floor up there--like an attic space. The only problem is that they don't connect to each other side to side, but you do actually have a third floor once you've stacked two houses.

Have you learned to cancel place yet? Because that really is the root of most glitches. Once you learn that you can easily float those curtains where you want them in the ways that Snark Hunter recommended. I would float off the back wall of your shower, since that would be easiest. You just need to cancel place that wall where you want the curtains, place the curtains, and then reload your plot.

It depends on what you want to do... I think that for a sort of straight out-of-the-box nice looking house with different sized rooms and real windows, then the harvest house is your best bet. But if you want to do more creative things with how you build or decorate and want to have the option to open up walls (or stick things in walls) or have more flexibility with the way the outside looks with dormers and things, then the cottage and estate lines are the better choice.

I love the cottages, but I do miss the more open rooms/higher ceilings of the harvest house and the different sized rooms (not to mention real windows). That said, I tend to do some different things that are not possible in the harvest house because you can't get rid of the walls of the harvest house. You also can't get a second floor in the harvest house (except for that balcony thing in the grand harvest house) unless you build your own. So I think it all depends on what your ultimate goal is going to be.

Yeah I can cancel place. I’ll try again tomorrow. I was trying to cancel place them but for some reason they kept teleporting. Everything I know how to do seems to behave differently now. In the past you could rotate pillars and make like a frame and hang curtain from the sideways pillar. But that doesn’t work now.

Like I said, I’ll try again tomorrow when I hop on. But earlier when I tried practicing with some walls, the curtains would teleport and it wouldn’t work

Pavilions don’t snap together at all. They are just freestanding. The closest you can get them is before they are fully built, but they still don’t touch, and if you move them after they’re built you can’t get them that close together again.

The easiest way would be to make a guide for yourself. Figure out how wide ur tree is, then space them out to make a circle that fits for the bottom row. From there use a crate or something to get ur height for the next row, and put the next row's lights between the first row's lights, and then go around again. Repeat as many times as u need till u reach the top

If it helps, you can use dessert plates or something to sit the floor on top of, that way you don't have to eyeball each one

So just make a circle with those, and cancel place onto the next one all the way around. It's just chaining with a guide

Very useful, and u can even write cursive and stuff easily this way, like that cocoa cola truck, lol. Tho I believe they just stuck theirs straight onto the wall piece

I put a red present on a shelf on a wall, turned the shelf to the side 90°, and then cancel placed the present on the ground a few squares to the side of the shelf/present. The distance you cancel place to the side is how high it will be floating. Then place the lights on top of the present and move it!

When you put the lights on the present, try turning them 90 of what you have in the picture
You're aligning them in a way that the rotation is not visible

Easy way. Start with ur present just turned at an angle placed. Cancel place it up and over as much as u need and then place the light on the edge of the present. Pick up and place -

When you change the shelf angle it should change the one on the lights (like the purple angle is steeper than the blue), make sure to point the light towards the shelf where the present started

If you put it on a red present, you can rotate it and sink it, thus putting the backside of it where the smoke comes out facing towards the sky

You'd have to move everything, but you can use the cutting tool with the kilima porch. It's not as nice as the one on the grand harvest house, but it's still something.

This is six porches, but I had to have somewhere to sit and look at the view.

Obviously haven't decorated or anything yet. But the cutting tool stuff kind of has to be done first, so I got it set up before anything else on my plot.

You have to do it this way (so not the more compact version of the cutting tool), but if you have your harvest house on the edge of your plot, it will launch whatever you're trying to cut out of bounds. #🏡│decor message

Usually this is something on the ceiling of the downstairs room, or close to the ceiling on the walls. Also, just checking that the room is already built? (I mean, it looks like it, but I can't remember what they look like when they are unbuilt and you are placing them.) If none of these problems, then just try reloading your plot or restarting your game.

Yes, people do this often to ask for what people think! And there's no board that allows upside down planting (if I'm understanding correctly what you mean), but if you're talking about the flower ceilings or something like that, those are planted on regular builders floors which are then flipped once the flowers are are on them.

Yes, the recipe is in city hall. The easiest method of flipping them is to put them on a shelf and turn the shelf over, but often you need other tricks to get your whole ceiling to fit inside.

I went out the gate to Bahari and came back in and it was still missing and then I logged out while I was on the same plot and then came back into the game and they are still missing.

I don’t use builders blocks but I’ve read placing stoves, ovens or prep stations makes them disappear or out of bounds. It is a known bug from this past fall so I’m assuming it hasn’t been fixed. If anyone went through something similar and got their stations to reappear again, I hope they can help you

U have to anchor them to the plot ground otherwise they acting crazy if u put them on builder items :V
If changing plots and leaving it doesn’t help, I would recommend to restart the game. My vanished one time too and they popped up again after quitting game and logging back in. Idk if u already tried that?

Try shutting down Palia and resyncing your PC date and time. Reopen Palia and the missing crafters will likely be at the front of your plot.

You can’t put crafters on builders blocks inside the house. The crafters have to be touching the floor of your house. If you put them on builders blocks or floors, the block/floor has to be touching the ground outside. They will eventually reappear in your lamp zone in the front of your plot. (Sorry, I should have read ahead…. I see you found them! Also it’s possible to do what you’re trying to do but I think you will have to float them off something on the ground outside.)
