I'm guessing for the parasol and the canopy (which are the two for the bundles) that it's maybe 10-20 snowballs each. So that's at the very least 200 snowballs to make TEN of each of those. But it could be 20 snowballs each, which would mean 400 snowballs! And to make one small terrace is almost 50, so how can I decorate my plot if I'm using hundreds for the bundles. It's so unfair.

This depends on the landscape, if you have the same landscape on both plots you can spawn in the unstuck point, if the plots have different landscape then you get the normal spawn

To make 10 of each for the bulletin for The cozy camp pavilion you would need 350 ancient wood plank, 80 Whitestone slabs, 70 ogopuu skin, 20 crystal lake lotus. For the parasol you need 200 heartwood plank, 60 fabric, 20 emerald carpet moss and 20 iron. So much wasted material and the you gotta farm again just to make them for yourself. They should’ve set it to only 1 of each

Wait, isn't that what it's supposed to say? It will tell you your inventory is full if it's NOT going to give you a recipe, right? Then you server hop until it lets you pick up the pile so you are guaranteed to get a recipe. It will tell you your inventory is full because you don't have space for the 5 copper ore or whatever it's trying to give you.

Number three is small and uses more snowballs than the big one, so I think they are all messed up.

The things that I can remember off the top of my head... ghosting buildings between plots no longer works, stacking pavers on bowls and then removing the bowls to make floating stairs doesn't work (the way it used to, there is a work around), and you can no longer place things on terraces or floors out of bounds when they are just below the surface (you have to place first, then put the floor/terrace underground).

Im a bit confused with what you said about putting things on terraces out of bounds, what you mean just below the surface? :x

You used to be able to put the terrace or the floor below the surface out of bounds and still be able to place things on it (as long as it was close enough to see the grid). Now the surface blocks the grid (although you can still see it), so you have to either have the floors/terrace poking through the surface a bit, or you have to place your stuff before sinking the floors/terrace.

Breed them as much as you can, but try to retain higher-perked ones (gold/legendary) so you can ideally minimize cookies and become a baby farm, to raise your farming skills, by feeding, petting, donation.

If you can keep the legendary ones, the dog bone cookie can possibly duplicate it with Me Too and Strongest Traits.... this is how you can quickly level up to get the floors.

Ha, I tricked my storage...

It's not incredibly useful, but I was just about at the limit of my storage, and my ammo bag is completely full. When I collected from my kitsuu statue, I got 20 arrows, and it told me on the screen that the overflow went to storage. I figured I just lost them, but apparently I didn't and now have crammed 9 extra arrows into my storage... I wonder if I can use this to my advantage with snowballs...

Yes. Unfortunately they changed some stuff so even though you probably can see the grid through the ground you can’t place stuff there anymore. I have a terrace anchored to a paver and when I want to add something to the terrace, I just put the paver up on a builders block temporarily to lift the terrace above ground.

hihi! so i had an idea to do a very large bug dome, but remembered we cant use the bowl to curve the bug enclosures anymore... has anyone found a work around for this??

The frame for how I did this is a bit ugly from the outside but I have it inaccessible on my plot and the part that is visible inside is decorated with ivy.
But I did this entire structure with just group select and the spiral web.
I stacked tanks 14 tall for my room size, and put the web on top. Group select from the web and attach it to your frame.
Its more limited since you need a frame but its easy to do glitch wise! (I recommend starting from the top lol I re did it a ton)

No shelf needed the way I did this, when the web is on top and you group select from it, it automatically turns the item to be flat on the wall. Then I used normal rotation to adjust the rows direction if that makes sense.

I wasn't sure how to make it a full circle though to be honest 😅 I would need to fish a lot more to try and work it out

I presume X was the pick up option before?
You can try looking in the settings for the controller bindings, look for "primary/secondary/tertiary interact" are all set and different

I did change them. Those are all set different as well. The x is currently set to pick up furniture but the tint option is taking it. I tried to change furniture pick up to y, but then the tint just changed to y.

I just tried it, it seems that you cannot have the same button for both actions if they are to appear together at some point
In this case, "pick up" and "tertiary interact" which does the tint option. Also looks like the more general action has preference

She put items that u cant get from the loot piles. So she used jam and decor items, cus u cant get that from the pile. And she also filled up her ammo bags, so she wouldnt get arrows, smoke bombs or worms. This method works for everyone

If u put one out without anything around it, then run the length of the room, you'll notice u can get further away from it if u run in the direction the back is facing than the front before the sound cuts

The floor does block it, tho, which is why flipping it upside down to hide it there does not work

Or if u completely box it off on all sides, the sound can cut

You place an item down on ur plot that corresponds to what u wish to flick. Ground for ground, wall for wall. From there u pick up that item, walk over to where u want to flick, and hold that item to where it says "something is in the way". Hold down ur mouse button and hit the number key containing the item u wish to flick.

Yep, just aim at ur anchor, hold the mouse button down and hit the number key. If it ends up flicking onto the ground, you may have to hang ur anchor out of bounds to avoid it

Yep. The one u hold is not the anchor tho. It's just a tool to get the item to place out of ur inv

So for example, say u want to float a plushie, and you float it off a dessert plate. The plate is ur anchor, and the plush ur anchored item. It is the piece that your plush is attached to, and when u move it, the plush moves with it

A lot of ppl get confused and think that floating a plush is diff from floating a dresser, etc. and so they ask how for each one. It's all the same thing, you just have to use the right anchor for the right piece if that makes sense. Like, you can't sit a ground item on a dresser. Multi-select can get around some of this but not always. There are also uniquely coded items like a fence, or a Gazebo, which can only be manipulated with a red present and some extra/diff steps in the case of stand alone structures. Like, u can't just place a house piece on a present, or a fence. Fences need to be multi-selected by an edging piece, and structures need the HY combo

You can fill your inventory with anything that is not in the piles, doesn't have to be full stack, same for ammo, piles give worms and glow worms so those need to be full stack if you have them

HEADS UP - new bug if you're manipulating your storage. If you try maxing out the seeders from your inventory (storage) into your feeder, trying to cap all three slots will freeze your game irrecoverably. Don't max out seeders from your storage. Possibly error 429?

Edit: Rebooting the game shows it put x55 RICE seeds into the seeder in one slot. 😮 No wonder why it crashed.

Flowers are also part of the decor limit. It’s not 3500 items plus 1000 flowers. It’s just that only 1000 of your 3500 items can be flowers. Everything counts toward the 3500. It’s better that trees aren’t flowers or our flowers would be even more limited.

2 ways (that I can think of rn):

1. As you said, cancel the terrace but finish putting down all the tables before reloading so you just have to reload once

2. Cancel the tables away from the anchor to bring it on the terrace. When you'll put the anchor down, they'll simply follow it

I meant that it's the tables in the way and not the anchor, so just cancel the placement of your table far away from your anchor so it doesn't collide with the terrace. Then place your anchor on the terrace and the table will snap back to it, going into the terrace

It's the same glitch basically, you do what you'd do to sink an item but with the present as the anchor

Put your red present higher up, cancel it lower than the first spot and that's when you'll have to put the gazebo on top (Make sure you cancel it where there's enough space to actually put the gazebo on it)

If you can't place it, you either aren't high enough to aim properly at the top of the present, or you're too close and are "in the way" of the gazebo

As for hiding it under... You'll need a bit of maths for that, lemme sketch something real quick

Sorry for the awful sketch So basically, in pink you have the thing you use to elevate your present (stack of crates for example), purple is your present in 1st emplacement and cancelled one (2nd), then green and blue are visualization of the gazebo

If you want your present in the gazebo, you need to keep in mind the perimeter of your gazebo (green cirlce) to know where you need to cancel you present, while keeping it farely far enough to be able to place down your gazebo (blue)

The limit to a chain of items is 50, though (the game will tell you that your "stack" is too high, but it's also 50 for connecting things like builders blocks just on one level). So you have to get creative to connect more than 50 items as you go higher. And some things will not float further than a certain distance from their anchor, so if you are floating things, you have to be careful there. It's different for different things, so there's not one number I can tell you for that.

Also, it's possible to actually build higher than your character can go. So there will be a point where you yourself will get teleported back to the entrance of your plot even if you have managed to float things higher than that. It's really high, though.

The doors warp the wallpaper. Don't ask me why. It's annoying. The only solution is to use a wallpaper without any lines on it (like stucco), although weirdly the very vertically lined wood paneling does not seem to warp).

you can buy recipes from tishs register in town and has you craft youll be "inspired" to craft new things from that collection 3 little things will pop above your head and you select one and it keeps repeating until you craft them all

Yknow, I think I do like the new tints system - it has been nice having a reason to catch common/uncommon bugs instead of just looking out for rares, and it's nice saving coins on mod kits. But I'm really, really hoping and praying they allow us to store tinted furniture or at least refund the tint when the furniture is stored. I have tinted pieces just randomly floating about my plot now because they can't be stored 🥲

If you put them on a builders floor inside a house, they will teleport to the entrance of your plot. They have to be touching the ground outside or the inside floor, or they have to be anchored to something that is touching the ground outside.

But you can also just hide them on another plot. You can have more than 8 chests, just only 8 on a single plot (and you only get storage equivalent to 8), but every chest accesses the same storage. So you could put one copper or iron chest (or whichever you like the look of) on your regular plot and just stash the rest on another plot.

You can do it this way, but you will have to float the chests off of an anchor that is touching the ground outside. Then you put the floors to look like the chests are resting on them.

You can re-anchor on the ground

• Take the piece that supports everything,
• cancel place it somewhere outside
• place another builders piece next to it
• group select from it and place again without moving
  Your shelves should jump back to the house but they are now grounded

All I wanted was a mantis plush, but every single time I try to catch one, someone runs up to my lure and starts taking my bugs. No asking, no nothing, then they run away and just stand back and wait for me to drop another. This is ridiculous. It can take more than a day to gather the materials to make a lure, and yet any random person can just run up and steal your loot? Make this make sense.

I think the disturbance logic is why rallying had been successful. If you’re running around hitting bugs, if you were so close to them it counts. That’s why lures are fun.

But for one hitters who drop plushies or silk…that simple logic shift to default to the lure creator makes sense. It gives back RNG to their investment.

It's really annoying, but no. I think they are not visible to people on tours, though. Not that this helps you wandering around on your own plot.

I have been known to pick trees up and place them down again because I accidentally watered partway. It's bad enough when you see the clear bar, but when it's half filled with blue it's even more annoying.

Yeah, that's the thing, I want to be able to enjoy my own plot, and it will ruin the prettiness to have little bars everywhere.

I'm trying so hard to meticulously plan my plot layout so that I can only chop trees that really have to be chopped. So that I can at least have the little ones that come with the plot.

yes if you reach the numbers for each, they have different tiers

example the rainbow one if you reach 500 which is T4 tier 4 you get the lower tiers of it too
at the same time if you get 200 for a heart one T3 tier 3 you get that one too and the lower tiers of it

It's a height issue, you can have things in the spawning point (and unstuck point) but if there's anything over a floor tall (more or less, haven't been exhaustive testing) on top of the grid you will glitch through it
So, you can either lower your table such that it only peeks thru, or move it entirely so that it does not cover the spawning point

You need to point to the nodes (little circles) on the edge of the previous piece for them to connect (if you didn't figure it out already)
You also can use wooden pavers or shelves for the... buckets? (don't know how're they called) but that requires a bit more of glitching

The loot pile trick:

1. Every slot in your regular bag has to be full with something you cannot get from the loot pile.
2. Every slot in your ammo bag needs to be full and any items you can get from the pile also need to be stacked to the max (100), because you can get things like worms and snowballs from the pile.

This makes it so IF the pile is going to give you and item (rather than a recipe), it will say "inventory full" before you try to pick it up. This tells you that you DON'T want this pile. So you server hop until you find a pile that lets you pick one up, because that one will have a recipe.

Also, it's important to realize that this doesn't force the pile to give you a recipe. It just tells you which piles not to bother with.
