If you use the floating technique I posted earlier, along with 2 person placement, u can "stack" 3 houses on top of each other. The house on the ground will not be connected to the upper lvls so it allows u to bypass it

The rarity is more or less set for plushies and seems to be pretty even across common, rare, and magical beasts drops, and stickers are stickers. IE 1 plushie isn't as valuable as another really unless it's something like the RTB but even that seems pretty common if you go looking for the RTB

I guess i could be somewhat wrong at least since things like twitch drops exist

I will say that their setup is not necessary. You can just move the shelf itself to sink or float something. No need to move from the ground to the shelf. To get distance, you can also just move the wall the shelf is on

You can. You have to attach a bridge piece to the stairs, and then put something on the bridge piece to multi-select by to move/place the stairs (like a builder's crate/pillar/etc.)

I'm torn. I love the new Alchemist cottages, and the Ravenswood fencing. They're exactly what I had wanted for my spooky plot.

The thing is, I already built a cottage and a fence before they were introduced. And while what I built isn't exactly what I wanted, I spent a lot of time on it, and I'm not sure if I want to tear them down.

You just need to build an extension of floor pieces off of the shelf to give urself enough room to place the bridge piece, use the end one as an anchor, or place whatever you want to use as the anchor on top. From there you just do the glitch

A large terrace piece is exactly the same height as the entryways/floor of the cottages. You would have to place it, then cancel it away, and then place your houses. Then reload your plot and you have terrace underneath.

When you try to put them on a terrace, I think the legs go into the terrace too much so it will say something is in the way. You can put them on the ground or the floor inside, but there is some work-around for the terrace.

It's bc of the collision checks they did. It won't let u place things on top of each other easily now. For example, multi-selecting a shelf and putting it on your floor.

So, I have had a lot of problems with putting more than one item on a terrace. So I have to cancel away the rest of whatever I have built and only place the base bottom piece on there, so maybe that's the issue? Maybe it's a stack of shelves that doesn't work? I'm going to go test, too.

Yesterday I could not place a single stone builders floor on a terrace. It was telling me something was in the way. There was nothing there except the terrace. It made no sense.

Nope, same stone floor, not attached to anything (I put it into my inventory and took it out to make sure) so it's not like there is something floating off it that is colliding somewhere on my plot, and you can see that there is nothing on this terrace. And yet, I cannot place this floor on this terrace ANYWHERE. It's so weird. No problem with a wood floor.

The cobweb gives more flexibility for angling terraces... Granted, when half of it isn't buried in the ground you can see the white, but I can move it around and rotate it in order to choose how I want it to be. I made the little "stand" underneath first, then I picked up the terrace with the cobweb floor combo and it will place on the slanted floor on my "stand." @fresh shard , I don't know if you've discovered this yet.

They fixed them the other day and now the area to click is actually a lot bigger than it was. I can point almost anywhere near them, but there seems to be a pretty solid area in the center and above them that will work. It's harder if there's stuff around, but you can aim much higher than I am in this picture and still get the message that you can pick them up.

Gah! I had two makshift table lamps and didn't realise where they came from. I used them and love them in a spot where I need 6 more. Looks like the only way to get them is by fishing up chests which means 6 more could take months.

Try putting your placed item one lil sqaure into your arm before hitting the hotkey. That helps me more than doing it in the middle. If its any consolation I consider myself comfortable with flicking and it still takes me anywhere between 3-30 tries ❤️

It doesn’t give you as much flexibility or range on the biggest terrace, but you can still rotate it. The big one still ends up half in the ground. I have to try adding more floors to the stand underneath. Basically you can move the mouse around anywhere aimed on the surface of those angled floors, so I think you could get it more out of the ground with more floors on the angled part of the stand (if that makes sense).

I usually use builders pillars when I want height! One pillar leaves it halfway in the ground, but I can get them entirely raised with two! Im definitely going to play with the webbing with how I do it to see what happens

Dekolimit says 3500, right? So in my Brain is still stuck that Flowers werent counted to that limit, or am i wrong? if the terrace that the tree is placed on is placed on the first terrace, then thats probably the reason why the tree is getting yeeted. however, if the anchor of that terrace is on the ground-ground, then i have no idea why thats happening

you can try to put the tree on a red present, place it where you want it on that terrace, then grab the present and cancel it on the ground ground, put a pillar on that present, put a second pillar next to ist so you can multiselect the second pillar and without moving anything place it again on the same spot on the ground so the present with the tree jumps back to the terrace. i remember it worked a cpl months ago

So you are not placing the floor when you move it down right? You’re cancel placing using the item in the 1 spot, right? That item can be any placeable item. It does not need to be the mushroom. Break this into two steps. Do the thing to move the floor down with the 1. Then hit escape. Then you put anything on the paver, flicked or otherwise and the thing will be sunk once you pick up the paver to move it.

I think you’ve combined cancel placement and sinking into one process, and while it might work with the magical red present that has properties that no other items have, it probably doesn’t work for regular items. You don’t even need the second keybind for this (or ever, actually).

Wait…. I don’t think you’re flicking. Flicking is when you use another object and get the “something is in the way” message and then use the key from your inventory to place the thing you want there. If you are clicking the number key and then your second keybind then that is just normal placement using the keybind instead of the mouse.

You don't need the mushroom in your inventory to sink it. You do need it in your inventory to flick it. Put the paver on the edge of the floor hanging off the side, so that there is no floor surface under it. Even better if you can hang your floor off the edge of the plot, so there is no grid underneath. Move the floor with the paver down and cancel (you do not need to use the mushroom here but you can if you want). Then flick the mushroom onto the paver with whatever other object you have on your plot to make "something is in the way." The paver on the ground might be the problem. The other option is to have more than one paver stacked so your mushroom doesn't flick onto the ground. Then you still will only need to move the top paver--you're just using the stack to get the top one off the grid on the ground.

Don't aim at the floor next to it. I stand and actually face away from the floor it's next to and click in the area where I want the floor to be, so pointing away from the floor that is already placed. I use the grid because they will still line up to each other, but they won't actually be connected. Then you have to use alt select to move the whole bunch.

Is there any way to get around an issue with One Wall on the Small Room exterior that is unable to have any wall print applied? Numerous types and methods and reconnecting have been tried.
Wall: Primary Node wall for connection to any other House Addon - Targeted wall in image - attempting to place sandstone brick similar to right of character.
Secondary Wall Nodes are not experiencing issue - Image will show white stucco for Secondary Wall with window on it

I've tried on entirely new plots and builds. It always seems to be one wall - and only with a hallway gap. even with 4 hallways in a line to have lots of space to try and trick it into letting me put the right wall cover on it ha. No go. Will figure something else out

It's industrial shelves for the mantle, the stove itself is made from a paltech stand, a pipe, an investigators desk, a log holder, soup bowls and plates for the burners, and torches for the fire inside. hii, does anyone know how to glitch the trellis so that the barn bell fits inside of it? i saw someone doing it but i am not good with glitches and also i don't know what to search for on youtube since it's a bit specific

You can just use cancel placement? Place the bell where you want it, remember the spot, then cancel place it out of the way and set the trellis in the same spot

While I liked the idea of the first one it was too big and took up a large amount of eye space when looking directly at the plot I didnt like how much it hid

So I went with a smaller shed idea

I floated it, without actually floating it, on a paver. So I put the paver down, canceled the paver to a new spot, put the rock on the paver, and then picked up the paver and moved it--the rock snaps to the spot where the paver was before I cancel placed it. And since the rock is attached to the paver, I can place the paver in bounds and the rock out of bounds. I then cancelled the rock away from the paver, put the paver where it needed to be, and the rock snapped to the spot over the bin (at least once I got the paver in the right place--there were several adjustments before I was happy with it).

Yes! Its a wall item so its easy to make it angled but otherwise i floated it :)

no but very soon 🫶🏼 just finishing 3 things and a lil bit trees here and a lil bit flowers there and then its completely done for tour

so there a wedding table dyed in autumn in the middle, outside is umbraan large pot. then you have a rancher's apple bag and on top of a bunnch of pavers, rancher's apple bowls (you could prob make it cleaner by floating more stuff but if i can avoid floating i will lol) and also some secret ingredient crab gumbo to make the heat vapor particles. the garden variety shovel is floated on a builder's crate. the base is two log cabin coffee tables and in front log cabin small bench. maybe this is too much detail but at least you have it x)

The problem might be that you are too close to the house wall. It can cause the builder's pieces to jump around/snap incorrectly

Can you remove the other block? Connect the two blocks together on the ground, then cancel the second block off the first one, place the first one back, and the second one will follow right there next to the other.

(Do you know how to cancel place?)

Or you can build the whole thing outside, and cancel place everything except for the base wall and then place the base wall where you want it, and everything will follow.

Or you can flick it, since it says "something is in the way."

transfer items to an over limited plot is very easy, you can search up youtube videos. its basically just placing items in a tent, then remove the tent and the items will jump into the lamp zone
