I think the green texture is fixed on the 90 degree angle whichever the terrace tilts... When I tilted one of my teraces the only part that's green is a small part on top that touches the 90 degrees mark. Lol

I just timed myself, and I didn't even run the whole map yet. I got 52 ore in 5 mins. You'll have no problem making a bunch of fountains, lol. You just have to know all the spawn locations and stay focused.

They spawn in the central stables themselves, in the pathways leading out, on top of the rocks near the pond outside the stables, all over near the large trees, etc. Run the upper cliff around Minata too. They rlly are all over XD. Maybe I can find a spawn map

Ok, so whether u r using the HH or the new house line, flicking them on seems to be impossible now. You can put them on a crate and hide the crate under ur floor tho.

You just get it lined up outside where u want it inside, put down another builder's piece, then cancel place ur crate with ur light on it close to that piece. Multi-select by the piece so it grabs everything and scoot it as far as u need to and place

It will push the crate with the light forward and ignore collision with the house. And u ca do this as many times as u need to to get it lined up

Just make sure to take ur flooring off so u can grab the crate if u need to move it again bc u can't see thru it to grab the crate

Hey guys I really need help with how the lighting works in this game
I keep trying to click on my main workstations or make food and stuff, but like… every time I do I end up turning the lights on and off. I’ve tried moving the lights ofc but I end up either still hitting them or just struggling to see within the game. Like I want my game to be lit with my lights but I guess I’m tired of having to pick between one or the other

The alchemist cottage cannot be connected to the harvest house. If you want to remove the harvest house you can press H and right click the building

If you're on console you get into H mode by using left stick I believe

These things are so hard to get where you want them. Things I would try…. Getting above it to place it (stack blocks or crates to jump up on), or putting the pillar on the ground and placing the floor piece first, then place the pillar on the block where you want it. The snapping of floors to pillars is really annoying and doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense.

hey all lovely people! im working on a build where i need to place the umbraan sheds on the umbraan platforms but since its an invalid placement i need a glitch for it to work. the one im using now (placing builders floor, picking it up, standing in it to have "smth is in the way" and quickly place and press number key for shed) isnt working that well so if someone has a tip on making it work better or another glitch i would really appreciate the help!!

Oh another thing I have resorted to is just building it a different way but it depends on what your ultimate goal is. So if there’s some way to put the floor where you want it by connecting it to another part of your build, and then put the Block with the pillar under the floor rather than the the floor on top of the pillar. It only works if attaching the floor to something else makes sense for what you’re building.

That's soo fair, they only gave us like two seconds warning.
I was almost done with my harvest house build but decided to take it all down (no regrets) but it helped a ton for saving money and resources for the build. Just sad to see it go

so another option is ghosting, it might take a bit of attempts to line it up, but:

• you move the platform away from the spot you want it
• press a key to a different decor item instead of placing it
• place the shed in the spot where the platform was.
• switch plots then switch back

the shed will be in the platform, but it will be there.

Try Google ‘build flower ceiling Palia’ there’s a yt tutorial on it. You don’t have to put the flowers on them but at least it shows you how to turn the floors upside down I think

So I just got on and tried this, and even on a computer, it seems impossible to get that floor on the pillar at the corner. It only wants to snap to the middle. So I would try the workaround and find a way to put the pillar under the floor somehow.

try ghosting the walls, place them together, then take the group but one and cancel placement. Then place the one single wall where you want it. This will snap the full wall back together. Perhaps this helps

Hello everyone!! I LOVE the new update and the new house, it feels like I can play with building blocks and different ideas!! I've been building a lot (haven't done this in SOO long). I used this, it took a while but I lined up 3 windows and then moved the cottage as close to the windows as i could. there is some gaps in the underside and top that will need to be hidden with decor cause it wont line up perfectly.
the glitch itself is easy just lining them up is a pain haha.

Prior to the update, I was able to flip rugs easily flipping a shelf, builders floor and a paltech floor vent on a builders wall then attatching the rug to the upside down floor/vent. I am unable to do that now without the wood floor showing through the rug... that is even if I can get the rug to attach to the floor. That has become difficult as well. Is there another way to do this that has been successful after the update? Thanks 🙂

Same as the sinking method, you need to anchor at least one piece to sink it then snap the rest onto that sunk block

Judging by the build, your block is anchored to the wooden wall so... You can pick up the wall farthest on the left and move it away to be able to take the rest off

So tedious to get this exactly where I wanted it (I've basically built half of it three times now, because I can't group select to move it once it's on top of the terrace or it takes the terrace, too--I even marked exactly where I wanted it to go on the terrace and somehow it was still in the wrong place), but it's now finally lined up and symmetric! I can't get the ceiling to go where I want, so it's going to just stay like that on top (I was going to have a flat surface mirroring the floor), but I think it looks fine like this.

Now I just have to build more of these and get them also in the right place. 😩

I don't know if this helps, but there are only a couple recipes that require two ovens. So I only put one oven in my kitchen to save space, and I pull out the second oven and just stick it there temporarily if I desperately need to make one of those two oven recipes.

what I do is 4 pavers on top of each other - then the 5th one I put on top is the anchor for the flooring. move the anchor (to the ground) so its at a distance you want the floor to be from the anchor, then place one flooring on top of it. add however many floor pieces you want to that one. then you stand in front of the floor with the paver underneath it and slowly move your camera up towards the sky to try to find the yellow outline of the paver under it - pick it up and then place it again (hoping this makes sense lol)

You are just multi-selecting by the crate on top, so that u can sit it on another crate. Then multi-selecting by the fence on top to attach the lower crate to another fence piece.

From there u remove everything but the lower crate and u can now multi-select by that crate to move the fence around

U r basically just tricking the game into thinking u are attaching a fence to a fence by using multi-select. The use of a terrace is simply to elevate the pieces u are multi-selecting by, so that it attaches the crate instead

i think the only way that has been found is the same as with normal houses. synchronized placement, meaning (at least) 2 players connecting more rooms at the same time, only works one time tho

The only thing that got broken rlly is bumping items anchorlessly with them. So no more paver stairs using them. I have yet to mess with butterfly domes to see if they are still useable tho bc they do somewhat have a placeable surface still. I can still lay a book flat with them

It's an easy solution till they fix it tho. Remove ur wall, place curtains on a wall piece and scoot it to the edge and then put the wall back and it's hidden

U can do this with just multi-select, tho if u want them sunken into each other, u need to know how to sink. You can also just place the cabinet where u want it, cancel place it out of the way, then place the bookshelf. Switch plots and come back and they will be merged.

They come on the house itself. If u left during construction, and the house is blank, it is a bug. They are aware and trying to fix it but send a ticket anyways

Sorry I disappeared and never answered! Is yours a large room? Looking at your photo, you could put the long dividing counter parallel to the wall with the dining room on the right side (you could also open that wall up to make it seem less crowded on the far side of the counter if you wanted). Or you could put the long counter facing the main part of the house parallel to the wall on the left. Either way, you could just eliminate the island or make a smaller one so that you didn't have to put the long counter at the dividing line between the two rooms like I have it. (It's hard to describe all this, but hopefully you can understand what I'm getting at.) I can think more or maybe even come visit some time if you like, too. 🙂
