Struggling with decorating my shipping bin. Found a tutorial on how to sink a group of floors and then glitch place them under the shipping bin, and everything was going smoothly until it came time to seperate the paver from the floor section so I could place the paver closer to the edge of bounds. It seems that no matter what, unless I group-select, I can't pick up more than 2 floors that are snapped to eachother

in the end you are the one looking at it all the time and if u feel sth is wrong from your side - what bothers u enough to ask that then? what part is first thing u look at and think "weeell...idk...meh but idk"? i would say its a good starting point! when in doubt add flowers and trees, maybe some hanging or wall deco on blocks to break the structure of them? (they are dull on their own ngl, doesnt matter how well designed the thing is they are always dull on their own)

Hi I don't know if this is the right place for it but I'll ask anyway Are you not able to place the Maji market arch outside the boundaries? I have a wide enough pathway and usually it is placable on the stone floors inside the boundaries, but it doesn't register and keeps giving me the invalid placement location error : ( Am on PS5 so most complexer glitches are hard to do if it's even possible with this object?

If you placed the floors on the ground first then they may not be connected to each other, like in here #🏡│decor message it applies the same when they are not connected (just snapped together) you'll need to group select to pick them all up
Unless I'm misunderstanding the situation

(it allows u to put on in the bounds bc it actually sits on the ground, not on them and does not connect with floors, u can see by placing it and picking the floor, arch wont follow)

Yeah I noticed that while I was trying it out, sadly I want a nice line up to my plot entrance with arches but I guess that would be hard to do unless I'd the terraces as an actual path? I don't know if sinking them underneath the ground with a terrace would work?

easy, terraces can be sunk like all other items, just need to put sth on top of them and group select to allow them to sit on anchors

I've been going between the 3 multiple time in 1 session before leaving. If I'm at 1st plot going to either 2nd or 3rd, I get loading screen. If I go from 2nd or 3rd to 1st, loading screen. If I go between 2md and 3rd or 3rd and 2nd, no loading screen. Instant swap.

I think I figured out th set up. I changed my 3rd plot to elderwood clearing. Changed from plot 3 to 1, instant swap, no loading screen as previously. So if you have the same landscape you swap instantly between the plots. If you have different landscapes on each plot you get loading screen.

In general - u want the game to spit out items in front of plot xd originally discovered by Maverick as a way to go above limit.
Always start with going on a not so full plot.

1. Normal items - put them in a tent, pick up tent after
2. Ground only items - anchor them on a terrace canceled from far (distance above 10 small blocks crates)
3. Other items - it depends xd if can't be put in tent then finding an anchor and failing anchoring works
   ALWAYS after that change plot to the one over limit, leave to kilima and come back

‼️ DON'T stack or connect items, make sure they are separated or they will not be yeeted properly ‼️

I am just figuring out how to work with building blocks but I keep seeing these adorable sheds with stone floors placed under the selling bin. I have managed to get them one block out of the property line on either side but cannot for the life of me get one UNDER the bin. Is there a trick I’m missing?

Yes, there is an application of the cutting tool that allows you to propel rooms outside some distance.

when i did mine, i had to set up further back on my plot with two floors. not where others and videos show how to do it. so i would place one tile, then the next one and then group select the first one to move it underneath, then i was able to connect the other tiles to it like normal. there's probably a better way to do it, but i'm on switch so i had to make due

Thank you for the link. This is the video that taught me about the cutting tool! However, if I understand correctly, the last part of that video which goes over ghosting rooms across plots is now outdated. I also watched hätähousu's video on glitching rooms out of bounds, and that method also requires ghosting rooms across plots. Is doing this still possible, or am I missing something?

I actually had the same question, is there still a way to do this or did one of the updates permanently make this impossible? I know you can sink them into the ground underneath the bin but I would like the stone floor paver to be visible and not show grass poking through

For that you'll need cancelation, but not the usual since you need to place the floors unconnected between them (for the grass not to show)

• place the floors on the border next to the bin
• grab each one and cancel place them at least 2 big grid squares behind
• place any other builders item right behind it but still unconnected
• group select from the new item and move forward (towards the border) the same distance you want it outside
• when you place them the floor that was canceled before should shoot forward outside (ideally) under the bin

I'm out for the day, but let me know if this is too confusing or it needs any clarification

If it sinks when you keep the shelf straight, then you're accidentally doing the sinking glitch and not the floating one Put the anchor on the ground first, then on the shelf to put your plush on it

Well, originally my house was Emberborn themed, but as SOON as I saw the "Endless Expanse" plot theme, and those Elderwood Ancient Trees... I made a PRETTY DRASTIC change... XD

Palia has less liberty than the sims, that's for sure, but it's quite nice once you get a grip of the easiest glitches

Cancellation and multi-select should be the first glitches to look up on your list

what theo is doing there is sinking horizontally :V u need to do same thing but in vertical axis - place crate on a crate and cancel it below on ground NOT like theo all the way from one spot to other (if i understand u correctly) BUT with same technique

I think she glitched it in place by placing something on the floor, then "pulled" it towards her until collision hits.. from there you want to quickly hit the assigned number on your INV with that pergola and "place" at the same time to "drop the item" and theoretically, "place" it on the brown.

Cancel away one platform, then if you know how to do one itself just place the platform that's left onto your anchor as desired, when you place it the first piece you canceled away will snap back

Building and Decorating - Ive built a small platform in the cosy cottage using small blocks and floor peices. Every time I put a cooker on it it disappears. Ive done it 3 times now. Twice they were in the ceiling and this last time it disappeared completely and they still count to the number 30 items I can put on a plot.
1- where did they go?
2- how do I get them back
3- how do I stop this?

Ah, that's a problem we've had for some time now... You need to have your stations anchored to the ground (outside ground) for them to stay on builders floors

I guess I don't know, I was thinking I would do a different area for each profession, and use a different furnishing set in each, but after I got pretty deep in that I wasn't liking it at all. So I was thinking I would just have the one grand harvest house and put everything in there, so I built a mid floor using builder blocks and tried putting my kitchen there, but that is still bugged and I'm not super keen on how the builder walls look, so idk, I'

I'm back to not really having a good idea on what I want to do with my plot now.

I'd maybe suggest looking up ideas on pinterest then! Or looking at tours on the board. I struggled with this too and then I ended up settling on the overall theme of my main plot, which is hidden witch-like within a cave. c:

or even just watching tours on youtube - I found a lot of inspo ideas that way

We just need a clutter items update. More leaf piles, dust/dirt piles, broom, mop and mop bucket, cans, jars, hay balls, sacks, strewn papers, placemats for under dinner plates, more wall mushrooms, cob website etc

I also suggest looking up what items are available in decor, seeing what you like, and building a theme around those items

yardwork terraces! You buy them at Kenli's office.. But I believe you need to finish a certain main story quest to get access for it. The fallen logs and all those big rocks are also in that shop ^^

But it can get very spendy depending on what you're making

That'd be the easiest way You could glitch them all with rotation and floating on a single anchor you would hide, but it's waaaay more complicated than putting it on a builder piece

Yeah, I went big with mine, you can, in fact, fit a built-in courtyard inside my inner garden
And no, you can't connect housing pieces all around, currently you will end with a double door (or a wall) where they meet back

Yes, there seems to be some slight changes in every update to the building blocks
You can try placing a floor to the side and pointing slightly off the one you are trying do half or you can do group select with a crate

Try to point directly to the wall you are trying to connect to, they should snap if there's nothing else around

It’s the stupid corners of point right at it it’s snapping either too far in or too far out. I was able to do it yesterday but had to redo cause I picked up a wall on accident and can’t put it back without taking it apart 😂😭

they dont let you know who reacted. no you wont know they are there cause they arent visiting it like they would if you left your plot open. basically its like a virtual walk thru of your house.
