You have to flick them onto something like a crate, and keep the crate on the ground. If you put it on the floor inside the house, it will jump to the front of your plot. Same with present, needs to stay on the ground

But on my main plot I can only place other items except TREES that way. What the hell? And to make it even more strange, when I go on my friends pc, on their plot, it's not possible to obstacle flick anything on any plot. I am so confused haha. I really want to help him place a tree in his house but I guess we're cursed ;_;

I could be wrong, but I dont believe theres any work around. If its on builders items it get put at the front of the plot. It has to be on the ground otherwise it bugs out. You can merge builders blocks in them but cant be placed on top.

Yeah... You could always try to move your rooms to another building on the side in the meantime, to keep your rooms with their furniture inside, but you need your wall to not be connected to a room in order to change the windows...

I realized something, only now that I had finished fixing everything: the fact is that those damned harvest houses are not mirrored, so ok, for the facade from the outside the windows are correct, but once inside if you go to the library on the left the windows will be on the side of the wide corridor, while in the library on the right they will be on the side of the narrow corridor.
So either I prefer the facade or I prefer the internal symmetry.

And no, I can't put windows on both sides because too much light would come in, which would ruin the "elderwood forest" atmosphere I wanted... and nothing, my "my obsession with symmetry" will have to settle for external symmetry.🤦‍♀️.

If multi-selecting is bugging out you might have to reload

Also, make sure that what you are multi-selecting from is snapping to the floor, not just sitting near it, if that's the issue. Sometimes I miss the floor when grabbing larger pieces. It looks like you sat it on top, but it's not

If you are just placing it on the floor piece where you have it in the pic, it's probably sitting on the ground, and that's the problem, then. It looks like it snaps on, but it's not. Try using a crate, you'll notice immediately when it snaps. It'll sit just the tiniest bit higher off the ground when it's dead on, and the crate should snap it to the center of the floor to help avoid missing it

Do they male noise? Probably not. I play a game called Sky and I love that the Decorative Chimes can be bumped into and it makes a nice sound
