i'd recommend watching a video about obstacle flicking, this glitch (while imo one of the most helpful ones) is quite hard to understand at first.

but in essence:

• Make sure the 2nd key of "Confirm Move" is set to anything in the keybind settings (which key doesnt matter, it just has to be set)
• place anything on the table and then rotate it exactly the way you just did on your screen
• place a building block on the ground next to it
• put your book on hotbar slot 1 (so you could place it by pressing 1)
• move the building block to the position you want the book on the table (disabling the grid will help), since something is on the table it should show "something is in the way"
• hold left click
• press 1 (if nothing happens, press it again)
• exit build mode

if the book is wrongly rotated look from a different direction (added a small video to show that)

harvest house is the start of your house, you can only remove it once everything connected to it is removed.
and same is true for a room/hallway, you only can remove it once all connected rooms are removed.
in this case, u'd need to remove the courtyard, then the hallway, then the harvest house.

the other problem could be that its a functional item, like crafters, which work somehow different than normal items.

I did not use any voice instructions but is this the issue with the STONE block or are the fish the issue?

the stone block on the left upper corner would not place so I forced it to place, I had one stone block on the ground, and stone block stack in my inventory on slot 2

I held the stone block that was on the ground and move like I was going to place it in the upper left empty corner, when it says "something is in the way" I hit the PLACE key (m1 for me) at the same time as my inventory item button (2) for the stone blocks

so it forced a stone block down from my inventory

if you want to hide the pillar inside the floor like I showed make sure you group select from the block atop the floor and then place it on the pillar

you can put a floor on in one orientation and put another floor on after you flip it on the other side so that you can put flowers on both sides of the "wall"

Alternatively you can use a wooden builder wall instead of the pillar and have the floor merging inside the wall and you can place both wall and floor items on that piece while it is on the shelf.

No, I do all stuff from scratch myself after learning how glitching works, it's all just cancelation, often with floating/sinking on a rotated shelf

Sometimes I use flicking if it's a faster option for particular thing

Cancelation on the video is used to float but what it does also is it takes a thing out of the way temporarily

So if u connect building blocks floors somewhere on plot, cancel away part of it and move behind the shipping box they will snap back after putting down

I would build with the most focus on making it work for your gameplay, setting up all crafters, chests in a way that is most convenient for u personally, crafting chests and upgrading them is the first thing u want to focus on, setting up a garden near the water pond probably too (for filling up watering can fast)

also if u cook buff food - making stations suit the fastest way of making those, all just depens on what u do the most

craft them all to have 8 placed down for most storage, for license i would balance it out with chests upgrades bc thats where your money is passively - stations refining materials

rooms and house and all that has no real real point other than doing decor, and the end game is kinda there, if u are still at beginning i would go with all the other things an would only build what entrance quests says u should to continue the storyline

passive money starts truly when u unlock the preserve jars for crops, potatoes btw in seed maker are a good money tho Xd when i started i did also small things like putting lights near my chests so i find them easier, or putting crafting bench and chest near the entrance to bahari before i could make the new fast travel map

even the question "how is your creative process", well, like either I have a idea and simply try some stuff - bcs I simply can't visualize the result - or I simply try some random stuff and go from there.
but in the end i'd guess the only real difference is that I have zero "image" how it could really look in the end.

yeah, it is not only picture when doing art stuff but also automatic response with image of a personal "prototype" of a thing u hear or use words for, streaming 24/7 ("chair" popping up but it is actual "idea" of a chair u internalised) :V

but it varies and when i do actually flip items in brain and stuff lilke that is not that common and can be trained (almost went to art school, dont get me started). for most brains its just faster to bring up a picture to process stimuli and meanings but not all, as u know better than i do

but besides that - i decor same way or sometimes just "dooddle" with random stuff here and there making sth cool by accident without any plan to XD only few times i did planned and made a "model" beforehand

i've seen the one from brigita, but what they built is different from what i'm looking for and likely takes different techniques. i want something that looks like an actual grand piano, complete with the lid and down to its shape, and some people have done it! i wish i could find the one that i saw before, though it may take some time.

FOR NOW... i have an upright piano in my dining hall, which will have to do until i can gnaw into the idea further
