I don't understand, sorry... Basically touring is : you chose a plot you want people to see and vote for, but the plot you chose to put on tour you can still use it as you normally would (doing your crops, using your crafters,...) The only thing to keep in mind is if you change something, for example change your crops or add a room, people will see it as your plot updates in real time

You put in anytime you want in the week really (most do it on monday since it's a new week and to get more votes), but each weeks it reset and you can put another plot (the vote change as well each week)

I quite like the outside vibes, really giving "summer" that you're aiming in my opinion The gazebo in the back is really "marriage" like (love the little galdur, it looks like a priest for the ceremony ) However, in my opinion the wallpaper inside is a bit aggressive as your used it too much You could try to altern with other white ones to smooth it a bit for the eyes Love the placement of the rooms on the side, it gives a good structure And finally, last point, I'd use something else for your stairs to the attic, the stone is a bit harsh, you could try with wooden ramps if you want to keep the ramps

Its just a bit confusing because the bedroom has two beds, and the attic has more furniture than the bedroom, so I thought the bedroom was just a storage room for beds 😅🤣🤣

You could make the attic the bedroom by adding a bed, and then you can just take out the extra room

Of course you could add it in when you get more furniture or just leave things open until you fill it up. Personal preference of course 😊 have fun!

Quite simple really (on pc) you take your wooden beam, move it away and take an item out of your hotbar (do it for the 2 beams) and you can put your fairylight, simply reload your plot and boom it's done

you can float them using a present or you can cancel place/ghost one of those pillars in front of that lil bridge, then obstacle flick the lights on the top of the pillar.

You'd need to use an item you are naturally able to place on top of the pillar, stand on top it (so it says somethings in the way) and then flick the lights on. A lil difficult to explain by text unless you know the technique already?

Absolutely, yt search anchoring or floating palia glitch.

But esentially:

1. You are placing that gift somewhere you can hide it.
2. Cancel place the red prez to a higher spot where you can attach those lights at the correct height for the pillars.
3. Then swap plot back and forth so the gift goes back to where you had originally placed it before cancel placing it. and now you have the lights "anchored" to the present and can move the present anywhere so the lights follow it.

you totally can. i'm on switch, so a lot of the cooler glitches don't really work well for it. but the easiest glitch you can do is the gourmet bowl glitch. you can place a gourmet bowl on an item like a dresser, and then select all on the gourmet bowl and it will allow for the merging of items

i was just able to do it, you may need to start further back on your plot and select all on the first one you placed to move it

yeah, what i did was go a bit further back from where your storage bin is. place the first floor down, then the second on (the one that will go under the bin). then select all on the first one and i was able to move it under the bin and place it

place 2 floors, near each other, but not connected (turn the grid off, makes it easier)
put a place able item on your number 1 key
move floor 1 a bit behind floor 2, DONT place (turn the grid off, makes it easier)
press 1
exit build mode (CRTL)
group select floor 2, that should move both floors
place as close as possible at the shopping bin

A good deal of the time, they aren't available on the in-game home tours, so I can't visit. I get that, but part of playing is playing with friends even in decorator mode! At least to me. Ill just sit and watch friends decorate lol. Also the person can change their plot settings to allow people or not. Mine is usually set to open for friends so anyone can come over.

And you can always just leave your plot and it boots anyone there so, theres ways to just be like bye lolol

I totally get it! I have trouble with different areas of social stuff, so i understand where youre coming from, but at least for me my plot is intentionally unlocked for friends to come visit. I love it when they do! And from my experience if people dont want you as a guest they just boot you from the plot and you just keep playing. The double gift stack is a nice useful way to always have the perfect height for things. You only ghost the top one, but at the end when you drop it. Its EXACTLY the right height for the pillars.

I cancelled twice, but the only necessary one is the red present on top of the pillar
(when you see the Celebration cake come up at placement xD, thats how you know i never clicked, I just selected the came from my inventory bar)

When you cancel place, you are essentially fooling the game into thinking you placed the item there, so when you hard-click or actually place something on top of it, the game will save it in that location. What you want to float is the Spring lights, so you "cancel" the present above the pillar, place the lights on it, then you can place the present on the ground and the spring item will still be in the air (where the location is saved)

place down somewhere handy on ground next to u one pillar (can be anything but pillars will work perfect in your case) and have another pillar - the one u want there - on a key in inventory

maybe try to put a crate close to the pillar, then multiselect the crate

grab the handy one, make it show the way it shows on the pic - where u want it (with grid on snaps perfectly) and push down mouse left click down and while keeping it down on that spot try smashing the key that the pillar in your inv is on

it should go perfectly where u want it and u learn a new technique (works for ground only items or outdoors only to place anywhere, only rugs for me are more stubborn)

Ok, so the U shaped rooms are attached to the harvest house in the second picture via ghosting the large room onto it, then building onto that ghosted room on the other plot. You then ghost the hallway off of this U to your main plot. The second Harvest House holds the back of the shed, and that can just be ghosted over to your main plot normally. Use another hallway piece before connecting your ghosted one though (on the normal and reg.one), or the roof will be open.

You just place an object high up, then cancel place it on the ground, and place the item you want to float on it. Once you get used to sinking and floating, you'll be able to do more complicated stuff like this. It's just measuring distances really

Bedrooms are always so hard for me to decorate. Like kitchens and dining rooms feel very natural to build them. Like last fall I finished a kitchen with a very rustic American cabin fall concept. Or right now. I'm trying to build a Gothic style dining room.

But I cannot get the juices flowing to finish or come up with a bedroom concept.

The entrance I think is pretty easy tho as we a mostly barren or open spade still looks good with the harvest house.

Any recommendations for the staircase to not use so many materials?

Right now I'm using a pillar/big block in the center and wrapping the ramp around it. And then building the floor around it.

There's some weird gaps in the walling. But I decided to just leave those, since it gave off a very brutalist look to them. Wish concrete was a material we could use for the building blocks.

oh man I do love stairs... XD depends, breaking them into sequences helps and deciding if u want them to be easy smooth walk up or jumping ones

I used a ramp so they're smooth. It will be less troublesome if I have console visitors so they don't have to jump around sm. 🤣
