If you would like the anchor off the center, you can do a cancellation placement for the anchor before obstacle flick.

So, put the counter (floor cabinet) where pergola pillar would be, then cancellation placement to where the pergola center would be, then obstacle flick the pergola on the counter

I made one for my fish and as a working area, I have taken it down now tho but I just figured out how much space I wanted it to fill up and how high I wanted it to be, then I made the outline of it with the block type I wanted, I used stone, filled in the middle with floor building blocks and then walls, I made my second floor, stairs using the round wooden pavers then ceiling using floor building blocks

You can use the triangle building block thing for roof if you want

Hey Obi, I recently learned that the preview images on the modification bench are actually interactive! So, if you click on the image and hold, you can move it around with your mouse. Doing this will then change the image to the colour, its a current work around for the bug 🥰 the Palia community is amazing for sharing info and support, I found out about this from another Palia related channel

And then use as an anchor a plate or something else to keep it tilted.

Have your anchor tilted with a shelf and place the red present on the anchor.

Can anyone confirm for me that they can put the Astronomers Tome book on the Moonstruck wall shelf please? Wondering if it's a bug rn or something silly about my plot that is preventing it. I can put other books on there (have just tried all blue and pink coloured ones) but I cannot place this book on the shelves I have even if they are empty.

I can't place my bug collector display box on the wall or put my maji market bloom lantern back on the ravenwood end table I had it on, getting really frustrated atm 😩

Well, practically with the flick method you don't need the red present. But for example people on switch can't do the flick so it can help them out in some of the glitches.

Any object that is a ground item can be placed on the red present. Like for example the pergola, swing, even fences.

Just something to consider when you are looking at builds for your preserve jars, do NOT place them on something you make with builders blocks. Keep them in houses/pavillions/ gazebos/ on the ground. I wanted crafters in an aesthetic place but after the second last update, half my preserve jars filled with starred apples and blueberries completely disappeared instead of being bugged to the front of the plot like it normally does when the bug happens every so often. They reappeared after a week, but if they hadn't, I would have lost a lot of that fruit which is a lot of time and resources wasted.

I'm so glad you got the advice early, I wasn't sure if you were aware so I wanted to save you a bunch of heartache haha. It's very unpredictable when the bug will occur, I spent a very long time not being affected by it but then it would just occasionally throw some of my crafters to the front of the plot but then that second last update yeeted everything into different spots out of bounds on my plot and it was chaos 😅 I've completely disassembled my plot and starting over.

You could probably adapt this into a more witchy vibe, just throwing this out there to get the creativity rolling for you and give you options, but you can do glitches to the pavilions to make barns. I have started this, not 100% finished on it yet in terms of decorating but you could look into something similar and do 2 to make it longer? The build itself is one Theoden gives a tutorial on. The crafters are on the pavilion floor so they won't be affected by the bug.

What you were saying about having a little grove of sorts works too, if you have a wooded vibe along with the witchy aesthetic you have, then it works. I'm doing something similar on another plot, going to have dense forest with little clearings featuring areas like this, you could totally adapt that to have more crafters in them. I'm not on my gaming computer rn so the graphics aren't amazing but you get the gist.

yeah its one of the items that suffered from the introduction of the yardwork stuff which resulted in placement tags being messed up

yeah seems like they made a copy paste error when they added a new placement tag for yardwork (yardwork is different from ground thats why we can't place buildings and fences on them)

We will probably never get all the items placement properties back, but hopefully at least a few

I think I finally have my main plot layout done. Everything else will be outdoor decor.
Harvest House is dining area
To the right is workroom, the left a living room with am small private sitting area.
North of the dining area is the kitchen (two medium rooms)
The courtyard, with fountain, has the guyest wing to the right and master wing to the left, Master wing has a study, bedroom and masterbath with fireplace.
All the little hallway rooms you see are half baths.
Using the grand harvest house will have to be another plot. I just don't see it fitting the flow.

I'm not sure who invented the rug method, but indeed it is handy, most of the times! Sometimes it says "something is in the way", but usually you can solve the problem by just cancelling the interrupting stuff elsewhere, and then loading the plot again.

I believe I have finally figured out how this was made. Ranch house fountain, tap hidden in rock behind cauldron, sitting on log cabin coffee table. Individual spring fever rock edging glitched over surface. Inside are various plants, with a log cabin wall torch glitched upside down. Emberborn graziers sunk into the ground for the fire. I have never seen this done myself or heard of it, but the purple haze HAS to be flow from a tree. Perhaps done similar to the bellflower fountain glitch that leaves the splashing water suspended on its own? It's incredibly clever. I can understand everything that's been done except that flow, I love it. Going to look more into that.

Sorry if this isn’t the right place. I learned how to float objects mainly the presents cuz they’re so pretty but can’t figure out how to make them on an angle.

You need to use a shelf for that Put the anchor on the shelf, rotate the shelf to the angle you want then move the anchor off the shelf and cancel its placement to the distance you wish. Place your object on the anchor, move the anchor by a few inches and it should be good

figured out how to rotate a present... the blue one on it's side I used fleurs roatating method but i can't get it inside the house I also can't figure out how to get it under the winterlights tree or even on a yardwork terrace but still it's cute And i also can't figure out how to float it like this in the air lol

Yes! Keep selecting an inspiration bubbles each time you craft a new item in the line- if you have to pause during a crafting session and lose your spot you can sort your craft bench by "never crafted" and go from there

Yeah it’s not ideal but have to say as a returning player I’m glad it turns out it’s a bug that can be fixed rather than intentionally not placeable

use small anchor or another builders item, and then rotate it with a shelf, then attach the wall / floor piece and then grab the item and it will flip the wall / floor piece. Then place it again and rotate the shelf and attach the another piece.

I know people have previously talked about Polsy's plot on here but I finally got around to looking today and it's details like this that I absolutely love in plots, Maverick Maruyama does an amazing job of little details like this and it's awesome to see something else as impressive details wise. Using the chapaa sculpture and lunar moths to make it look like a production line of making chapaa plushies. I really loved this part, so clever!

Getting the pillars where I wanted them was a bit challenging. There are a few things that needed to be floated, sunken, and rotated. But I have a decent amount of experience doing these methods so it wasn't too bad. Just some trial and error until I got things exactly where I wanted them

Once the pillars were down it was much more manageable :)

Sometimes the decor items does that. If you have builders block items that seems to interact with the location you want the pantry it will be unable to be placed unless you place it outside, open it and put fx a soup bowl inside and select the soup bowl to move both pantry and bowl

I think the pathing looks quite good and also like it took forever! Remember an aerial view doesn't give the actual feel of being down at ground level- I bet it feels much more even and well laid out from the player perspective! If you're open to advice I'd say narrow that main path (and maybe the lefthand one leading to the tree) by one line of pavers on each side then add flowers and bushes along the path! Perhaps you could also add some spring fever hanging lights if that's your vibe!

Never give up 💜. As you keep adding stuff like bushes and trees it will look better.
Also don't forget about the yardwork terraces, maybe you want to elevate some of them. Or have like a sunken path. There also rocks that will make it all look even better.

You will be able to, but do keep in mind that moving the room will move all your wall items back into your storage (Only the wall items, but if you take the room back in your storage then everything in the room will go back too)

Lots of people make stairs, pile them in gardens with flowers for a floral centrepiece outside, gift them to tish to up friendship, spread them over multiple plots for decor that's not so dense on one plot or just destroy them.

well you can place it on a red present and do like any other thing.

Using the red present is easier because you wouldn't have to flick it on a building block, and it's easier to hide becaus eit's smaller

Yes you can 100% place doors & porches on the ends of hallways without glitches. You can also attach bay windows 🪟

The only attachment that isn't allowed without glitching at this current time, is the fireplace.

1 thing to note however is exactly how much space the porch takes up. So sometimes it can run into the adjacent rooms, this might be why @gentle wind might be under the impression that it's just straight up impossible

we're trying to make a flower ceiling in one of the rooms in my friends house. It's a 3x3 flower ceiling I think it's a 'small room' we cant get the ceiling to go into the room We've tried changing the orientation of the pillars but still says something in the way

Chancelation method should work. As in, you have the ceiling on the pillar outside, place the ceiling with chancelation somewhere else and place the pilar in the room. Ceiling should snap into place then. Make sure, that there is noting in the way where the chanceled ceiling is while doing this (it will remain same distance to pillar while doing this).

Since you want a library why not make the main house that and put a living room set there too, make one side house a kitchen and the other a bedroom for now until you get more houses, or you could make a side house something else and make another makeshift tent for bedroom just an idea but so far I like what you’ve done with the outsides

Have you tried messing around with turning the frogbert left and right on the bed? Because sometimes that does the trick for me if a plush can’t be placed on the bed. Or if you have anything else on the bed, use the technique where you pick up the item you have on the bed, move it and select something else on your hot bar instead of placing the item then put frogbert where you need it and reload your plot

Absolutely understand where you are coming from. I spent a while grinding, every gaming session I was doing resource runs, trying to get my medals up to earn enough for items in guild stores for decorating, trying to do a bunch of different things to earn money for heaps of items at the autumn store before it went away, then the yardwork when it was introduced and then the winterlights store, etc. Finally felt like I wanted to get creative again and work on my plot instead of grinding. Couldn't place my maji market bloom lantern down. Couldn't put my bug collectors display box back on the wall when trying to move it. Couldn't add the same books I'd previously put on a shelf to that same shelf anymore. I wanted to put some finishing touches on a space before moving to the next one and it just felt like everything I touched wasn't working. Just to clarify, the Spring Fever set are actual recipes you can make as many times as you want and you should be able to get access to all available recipes through "inspiration", meaning you make an item and then get access to another one. Go to your worktable and filter by "never crafted", if all your Spring Fever items have a tick in their icon, you've made them all. The Valley Sunrise items, you don't get to have the recipes. You can't make as many as you want, they won't be accessible on your worktable. You only get 1 item itself in one output of Zekis machine and you can get double ups, meaning you might get multiples of an item even if you've never gotten a different item in the set. Palia wiki does list Valley Sunrise at the moment, don't know why it isn't for Spring Fever right now.
