you might be able to merge the stool in with the rug technique, which is pretty much like the cup technique.

otherwise, maybe float a dessert plate above the chest, and you can put the plushie on. there are some ytb tutorials for floating method works on switch

Looking for some recommendations on which wallpapers I should use. I have built a home with Hallways that go all around my plot like a wall. I've tried various wallpapers on them to see what I like the most but I'm still not sure what would look best for a wall/castle kind of set up. Mudbrick was the first I tried but it's very pale and dull. I used Gypsum Flagstone Wall next but it still didn't pop for me. I also tried the Paper Screen Wallpaper. I kinda like how the Moss Listello Tile Wall looks I guess. Has anyone else here tried anything similar? I wish there was a bluestone or just basic red brick I could use.

Hi folks!! Yesterday i had not a very nice "thing" happen and i dont know how to react to it but maybe i am overthinking it too much . while someone asked to visit their plot and i am always exited to see others express their creativeness. I loved their plot, it was truly nice. However the same person later visited my plot and i am a pretty maximalist person so i would definetly understand how my plot would not be to someones liking, and i told this person how its more than okay to say they dont like it, or what they would do differently, or to comment what is too much. However this person didnt say absolutely anything. I said to them that the plot is unfinished, but thats why i'd like someone to give me some pointers on what i could do differently, but the person went back to their plot and absolutely no comment. And now im out here wondering was it THAT bad that they didnt say anything at all.. Its okay if they didnt like it as i said, i would just wouldve liked if they said that to me couse now i dont know what was wrong... long story.. well long 🤣 would someone be up to visit that plot of mine and tell honestly what they dont like? And if its that bad? Or give whatever opinion whatsoever? I would be very very grateful as now i am a little lost on what is wrong

With obstacle flick it should work on any wall, but if you are just bouncing it from the other walls then with 1 hallway it should work but with more hallways it can be more tricky

Super silly question that I know has come up before: I have a lucky Zeki stuck on a summer stripe juice bar so I can remove neither from my plot. I don’t see the lucky zeki in the H menu to remove it that way. Is there a trick to removing it?

When you make a arch you should be able to just lift the whole thing from the shelf and if done correctly it will stay up like that. But you can't just remove the shelf and a wall before you moved that arch

I'm guessing you built your arch on ground and then raised it up, and that's why you have the shelf still there.
While this method will allow you to not have the gaps, the other method will be shelf free 😅.

Maybe rebuild but have your shelf in a different location so you can mask it with a table or something.

To craft the available recipes for the set, you must first purchase at least one of the Gourmet recipes from Reth's bar register at the Tavern or in The Underground;

And once you can craft a bowl/cup you place it on the paver and alt(group) select the bowl/cup. You can use this to semi merge furniture as well.

Well not really. I mean all those flipped items do need an anchor piece, otherwise they just flip right back when you remove them from the shelf
But you can have something like this for example

That could work. So using anchor to sink, then rotate anchor to "reverse" them and as such "sinking" them upward?

I haven't really experimented much with floating so this is new to me. I won't need a separate anchor for each piece so long as I place and sink each flower one at a time, do I?

Yes you can use that one pillar as an anchor for all of those flowers and I choose pillar just because you can easily hide that inside a wall so you end up with nice and seamless flower ceiling.

Here's how to do it:

Attach a shelf to a wall or brick, add another building wall to the shelf, flip it upside down, add floor building blocks to where you want, place stuff on top of the floor blocks, then lower the shelf till the floor blocks are under the grass.

Flowers work, indoor furniture works, food works. But trees, soil, and outdoor furniture (or anything that needs to be placed on the actual ground) doesn't work.

I’ve built around my shipping bin before, but with the use of builders floors that start in bounds, so you still see the floor.

So, you add the shelf to a wall, then add a builders wall or post onto the shelf.

Flip the shelf upside down after adding the wall or post.

Add onto the wall/post with floor blocks (since you can only place items onto them when they're right side up.

Lower the shelf after turning it upside down and all the floor tiles should go underneath the grass

With a technique called obstacle flick or obstacle placement. Then I pressed left click and the number key for the floor at almost the same time, maybe the mouse a bit earlier. Takes some practicing to get the timing right. 😉 Game is confused and puts floor on the wall. 😄

You can use the same method than you use to make any other item float ^^
So you need 3 items: anchor , something for height and the candle.

1. place you anchor on the ground
2. move it on top of your heigh item but DON’T place it, use a number key with and item
3. place that candle on top
4. pick up your anchor and place it somewhere
5. now the candel should float more

Hi all, I was directed here for architecture help. I was trying to use a building glitch that was showcased in a YT vid to build custom steps. It involves placing down a wall, attaching a shelf & putting a block on said shelf. Then you arrange stone pillars in a staircase & detach the anchor block, but the "stairs" don't flip appropriately. Stand where you want the tree to be while holding a placeable food item (other items work, I use food) and if it says something is in the way you're doing it right, spam click your left mouse button and the number key the tree is on in your inventory.

Note that you have to place the food item on the ground prior, but not in the spot you want the tree to be. Pick it up and drag it to your feet

i did : one wood pillar , one rock floor put on it , then an other one snap to it , and then an other one , the trick i found to remove the grass was to break the chain of the second rock floor and then attach it again etc and then when i put it on the floor no grass issue but with time it poped again so i dont know what to do :S

I think it's the differences in wall length that makes the pattern "stretch out" differently. Don't know any workarounds though.

That is not ghosting that is obtacle flick and it can be hard to get the timing right. It may be easier if you lower your fps down to 30 and you whole plot must be open before you can do that. And sometimes it’s easier to have a secondary key for the left click
Also on those pictures that chest is in the way and you cant have that

You can use that, but it cant be in the way where you want the tree. That way the tree will bump into the obstacle

There are separate colors for roofs that you can use as default. You can buy those from city hall.

But you can also use wallpapers and floors on roofs too.

You get door and rooms when you level up furniture making or you can buy them at city hall

You take a gourmet item, usually ppl take the cup or bowl and you put it down on your nighstand. Then you group select it from the bowl/cup (alt by default on pc I think) and you'll be able to stack them

Group select the bowl and don't worry if it highlights your nightstand, that's normal Normally, it'll grab the bowl with the nightstand and you'll be able to put it on top of another one without problem (You can do it solo, no need for a friend here)

When I've placed to rows of stacked nightstands, how do I glitch the third row into it?

You have to place one by one from the 1st stand, you can't merge the entire row

Cancel place the top two out of the way.
Place the bowl on the top of the bottom one.
Group select the bowl and move the bottom one into the others.
After placement the top two will snap back into place.

You can cancel place the top two out of the way again to pick up the bowl, and then reload your plot to put them back.
