Enchanting runestone says purchase limit reached… I need one for a relic recipe and I don’t seem to have one in my storage. Any ideas?

I’m on the lost and found quest, the one with the lost boy in the elderwood. It tells me to make the bean burger and the flowtato fries, buttt I don’t have the recipes. I’ve been where the chests are supposed to be in EW but they’re not there, and I’ve finished the shiprunt quest. Am I missing something?

It looks like there are a couple possible solutions: waiting until the next daily reset or waiting until the next weekly reset. Then giving out the romantic gifts before giving any other type of gift.

Yes! 4 runestones for 4 relics, so you can buy 2 at the store and the the others are quest rewards or found item reward.

I need some help, I’m trying pick up my soil pieces to move to another plot but it’s not letting me. I have untilled an apple tree on so there’s no fertilizer and I have other soils that are completely blank and I still can’t pick them up. What could I be missing?

ive gotten a ton of magical trees in the elderwood

and foraging,,, all over the place in bahari and the elderwood

So for whatever reason, Elderwood items often don't count toward challenges, achievements, etc. unless they are specifically mentioned. Also Flow-infused wood only comes from flow trees which are only found in Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay.

There's a bug with the new system. If you give someone a gift before discovering the weekly wants for that week, the Discover button does nothing. If that happens go to the wiki or Paliatracker to find out what the weekly wants are. They usually update wthin a couple hours after wekkly reset.

How do I get my ranch animals to stop moving pens?

It's been suggested to me to assign them, leave the ranch, then immediately return to the ranch to make pen assignments actually stick. However, despite trying several times on different days, my ranch animals continue to hop around.

They've never stayed in the pen I've assigned them to. This is becoming so frustrating

You can only have 10 animals per pen, make sure you aren't overcrowding, if you assign more than 10 to the same pen the extra animals will be tossed around

And if I don't have 10 assigned to pens (because I don't have a full ranch), then what else can I do?

The only way to make them stick is to assign them, I have my Pekis and Gloobi's in Water, Ormuus in Fire and my Bumbles & Boovars are in Air, the Trufflets are free floating but usually stay in Air pen

This has been a bug reported by a lot of players. You should be able to finish the quest by talking to Auni through his treehouse at 12am in game time

Her weekly wants should be a pinecone, Oily anchovy, Fairy grasshopper, and the brush tail dragonfly, I've given her everything except the anchovy

If she’s rejecting it, I would suggest putting in a support ticket so the support team can look into if it’s an issue with that specific item and then gift her something else. There’s been bugs with villagers accepting certain items in the past but I have not heard any issues recently aside from villagers requesting quest or unobtainable items. If you need help finding other items that she should accept, I suggest the Palia Wiki or you can use the Palia Tracker website and they’ll both show general loved and liked gifts that they’ll accept outside of weekly wants.

Just in case, if you have any lockboxes (the storage that is 100 items per box) it will lock the items away and they are unusable/unseeable in menu's until you specifically take the item out!

I have the same issue in my new housing lines -- prior to the update, could place curtains over doorway, but now, I can't. I just tested this out Thursday night actually bc I wanted to re-do a room in the house, and took off the curtains I had on a doorway, and they will not go back.

I know others were encountering similar issues, and I have seen using cancel placement as the solution (but I honestly can't be bothered to figure that out lol)

The vaults are long-term goals, like the bundles in Stardew Valley. You fill the vaults with things you collect or make to earn rewards like unique decor. Once you solve a temple, the corresponding vault unlocks.

Does using the lockboxes extend your storage? I know I can buy storage from Zeki, but do the lockboxes help with that, as well?

It has a separate storage of 100 per chest, anything you put in there will not be used with cooking/crafting/...

lockboxes are for when you want to lock certain items so you move them from main storages to lockboxes. that way it keeps it locked for other purpose for eg. you putting rare and epic items in lockbox to save them from accidently using it

I am having a hard time finding blueberries. I thought I could buy seed, since I haven’t found them in the wild yet.

Nobody had updated it since late June, so it’s no longer useful.

Blueberries and Apples and Rockhopper pumpkins aren't found in the wild, you get both blueberry and apple seeds from leveling your gardening and Badruus friendship, can also buy them from the guild store at Lv10 gardening, Rockhopper you buy from his stall then use the seed collector to make seeds from it

The blueberies seed can be bought from the gardening guild store at level 10 for 45 guildmedals

Okay that's good -- I think the next step for you may be to submit a ticket to player support. To help your ticket along, go to each of the 4 ponds and take a screenshot or a video record of the pond giving you the error of "you already fished here," and a screenshot of your fish tab in both storage and lockbox. They should be able to help you forward!

You should be good now, but any time that you leave a job in the crafter for an extended period of time (around 7 days IRL), that will happen and you'll have to use the cancel crafting option again.

So if romance level 1 quest is not checked, you need to start there; and so on

Hi! Is there a reason why at some villagers the "will you be my shepp" question appears and some are dissapeared even though they were there before?

If you ask someone to be your Shepp before you get to level 4 Friendship with them, then you will need to complete their level 4 friendship quest before you can ask again. Be careful, once you ask someone, all the villagers will want to be your Shepp. Pay attention to the dialogue options.

If I remember correctly, I think you have to unequip the relic to be able to upgrade it to a different tier. Depending on what platform you play on, you can check if you have it equipped from your inventory

Idk if this is the right area to talk about this but I’ve been fishing for the red devil fish for over 3 hours, in freshwater in the elder world. I finally caught one after using over 60 worms, but I got pushed by an ogopuu and losing my cast!! I’ve just started this game, is there any way I can get my fish back? I’ve put in so much time and materials trying to get it.

Unfortunately, there is no way to get the fish back. You’ll have to try again. Just in case you didn’t know though, you don’t have to catch every fish that hooks. After the fourth bite, the fish will jump in the air so you can see which one it is. If for whatever reason you miss it, just leave your rod in the water and the same fish will keep biting. If it’s not the right fish, then you can reel in your fishing pole after it swims away and it won’t waste your worms

Any idea why my crafters keep misplacing themselves when I have them set on builders blocks? If the dig spots are not appearing where they should be, go back to the Key Items section of your backpack. Reread each journal front-to-back slowly (a few seconds per page). That should advance the quest.

They patched that out quite a while ago, so correct, it needs to be a new item you collected/looted/etc in the world.

You’re welcome! If they also use the word “flare” or “flared,” that means they shot a flare arrow at the exact spot. There will be a shining spot in the sky above the impact point.

If you find that your daily doesn't work after you've newly collected an item, you'll need to send a ticket in to player support with screenshots, as this will help your ticket along

The missing flower was fixed in June 2025 -- there are 20 flowers in game, so you friend with the missing flowers should review the Sacred Flowers wiki page to backtrack on all locations to find the one they are missing.

If your other friend can't offer any flowers to the 15 shrines and they appear completed with the flower on the shrine and pink highlight lines, they should follow the steps I listed above about contacting support with screenshots.

Hi guys! I don't know if this is the right channel to be asking this but, I need a bit of help. I've sent in bug report already to Palia Support, but it's been 10 days now and I'm worried their too backed up to answer or I reported it wrong. But I'm experiencing two glitches both to do with Quests one is "It Takes a Village" and the other is the Petit Fives" Quest.

It take a Villages is glitched on finding proof because I talked to Zeki, and some how I ended up soft locking it or something cause I can't proceed with anything, and I'm both level 10 cooking and completed the Prove Your... Quests and haven't gotten anything past that except Finding a Shep (Which I also finished)

Of course! Sorry didn't want to do a huge block text in the channel if it wasn't needed. But with the "It takes a Village" I was collecting the eggs and I got half way with collecting evidence 4/4 for Caleri and now I just had to do Elousia but, once I explored the left side of the map I came back and I was talking to everyone I noticed I could talk to Zeki, so I did he said "I think that's enough eggs" (though I didn't collect them all) then all my quest markers dissappeared and the one left was one leading me back to the portal, and once I went through it told me to go out into Bahari Bay and out of the map. So I don't know what to do after that.
And then with the other one, after looking it up I'm certain I was supposed to get the quest of "Fit for a Watcher" to lead me into getting the quest with Reth, but I haven't gotten it at all and I'm wondering it there's something I'm missing out a criteria that I need to make that I'm unaware of :/

Now that you've got the gates activated (and can finish out the It Takes A Village series of quests), you should be able to continue on with all the related Gales quests since you'll be able to get to the final island

You first need to buy the relic recipe in the shop at the front ussually elouisa and calira are standing next to it with funbacks you get from elouisa, i owuld suggest the artifact tracker first so you can find more artifact you have to submit in the three statue behind the shop, every completed row will give you more funbucks, you will have just enough to buy all the recipes, i would suugest the bag of illusion first so you do not need anymore tools.

If you can't find your glider after completing the quest, check your Storage Chests!

How to Use

To change the Glider skin, head over to the Wardrobe screen.

Restarting can't hurt, and copying the same spelling that the accessories slot has for the glider should be what it's matched under. We had this issue with a French player who spelled it "planer" but the game spelled it "planeur"

If you still find you can't find it after restarting, you'll need to take a screenshot showing your completed quest like a bird, a screenshot showing the empty glider accessories spot, and a screenshot showing the glider not coming up in a search. Check the wiki for information about the fish you need for your daily tasks. Fish are in certain biomes, use certain worms, and are available at specific times. You'll need to follow the instructions on when/how the fish is available to get the fish you need.

You can go to a wardrobe placed on your plot, or, to Jel's Tailor Shop and change your appearance/clothes.

You'll need to go back to the location you completed this task (first sailed his ship), and they will be in the general area, you may have to look around and farther than you expect, there will be no markers because this is a seek-and-find quest.

You'll need to go to Kilima Village Center, go to the bulletin board, and use the discover button to fill in weekly wants for NPCs.

If you gift an NPC before using this discover button, the system will not fill in their weekly wants.

There have been a lot of reported issues with gift rejection (both friendship and romantic) that likely tie into how this new system works.

If you find that after using the discover button at the bulletin board that your NPCs weekly wants are not filled in, you can submit a bug report.

Correct -- you have to go to the bulletin board in Kilima, use the discover button to fill in the weekly wants on your NPC relationship tab, and then gift the items to the NPC.

Gifting before using this discover button causes issues.

That's likely because you have tried gifting before using the system. You'll have to wait until next week to use the discover button -- again, do not gift any NPCs until you use this discover button moving forward.

You should be able to still gift NPCs what they want by using other sites like what you listed -- keep in mind, these are player updated and the weekly reset just happened, so it may not be updated to this week's wants yet.

I need assistance with the Home and Back Again quest.

I've completed the previous quests in this quest line, gave Ulfe his food, but now I have no unfinished quests in either quest tab, but also, no Home and Back Again quest. Completed in my quest tab, and no courier pup in my equipment either 🤷

I can't find Ulfe anywhere in the game either.

Am I just missing something else I'm supposed to do to? Or is my quest bugged?

But, after I tried to discover the weekly gifts, everyone flat out refuse the weekly gifts I give. I really like playing in windowed mode. Thanks for your response to my fishing question the other day, sorry I never followed up.

The issue I was having is that I would catch a fish that would jump constantly so I was essentially unable to reel it in and it would just completely drain my rod health super quickly. I’m guessing it’s probably a skill issue. I thought that it only drained if you were reeling while the boundary was red, so I thought as long as I wasn’t reeling it in while the fish was jumping I was good. But it seems that any time the boundary is red your rod health diminishes. I’m guessing I’ll just need to level up my fishing and practice more 😬🤷🏼‍♀️

And upgrading the rod can help slow the decay, as well as using fishing buffs too! The jumpy fish can be super, duper tricky.

the bean burger can be found in a cave during a quest behind a npc :) or it can be got from chests in the elderwood! and the flowtato fries can be found in chests too, or at a specific location between the entrance to the central stables and lilac cavern in the deep woods :) (had to check wiki, so hopefully that's correct info for ya)

Hey guys, I just put in a ticket for a character deletion so I can start a new character with my boyfriend; how long realistically will this request take because reddit is saying 6-8 days which is a long time

Account deletions can take up to 30 days to be completed. 6 to 8 days would not be an unusual or uncommon wait period for a ticket response.

If you have purchases, you'll need to wait for support. Even if you wanted to unlink your steam, you'd have to wait for support. Your experience may differ, but a week for a ticket isn't unusual around here. It could be within a day, it could be 4 weeks from now. The experiences can vastly differ depending on how backlogged support is ATP.

If you play on PC, you can always download the Palia Launcher and make a new palia.com account/character and play through the launcher.

But that account won't retain your purchases, so if you'd like to keep your premium content, you'll need to wait for support.

Yes, many are having issues with gifting NPCs either Friendship or Romance gifts since the new discover weekly wants feature went live with December's patch. It seems the best attempt at successfully gifting anything happens when: utilize the discover button in the bulletin board in Kilima before gifting any NPC any item for the week.

If you just changed it, sometimes it can take a bit for the new name to be visible in the game itself.

Sometimes, Xbox settings block certain things. Nothing we can do about this one.

Lastly, they may have streamer mode turned on, which blanks out all player names and the chats too.

It's just called "mode" in settings, so they can double check this and turn it off.

This is a common issue on the prismbeard quests. You'll want to try to catch Auni at their treehouse during their sleeping hours.

They are somewhere in elderwood, but they are difficult to find, and not in the correct area.

The weekly wants reset every Sunday at 11:00PM (23:00) EST for the new week ahead. So if you had tried to gift anyone yesterday before you used the discover button today, this is likely the reason why the discover button is not populating weekly wants this week.

This is a new bug, and if you feel inclined, you can submit a ticket to player support with screenshots (or a video record) to document your issue.

You can still try to gift folks this week, using Palia Tracker or the Wiki to know the wants; but yes -- when the time comes for the weekly reset, use the discover button before gifting to anyone, and hopefully this will prevent the issue from occuring for you!

On each villager's page on the wiki, there's a section for their daily schedule. On the Weekly wants section of Paliatracker, it tells you where each villager should be. Quests that move the villager will override their daily schedule. If a player chats with a villager, during a transition time, that will delay them (stop talking to Hodari!).

I think I have an issue, but I don't know if it's a known-issue (I didn't play for a while)
I have several quests involving Auni and Nai'o, on the elderwoods and I assume, leading them to be at different locations ... And I can't find them. On any maps 😅
The quests are "through the woods", "a majiri's trash", "Prismbeard's lost treasure" and "fit for a Queen bee"

When gifting romance items to villagers to up their romance level, do chocolates or the heartdrop lily give more progress? Or is it the same?

Heartdrop gives 10pts chocolates give 5pts, I have recently discovered you can give both of them in the same week as well, flower day one and chocolate day 2

heartdrop lillies, but you can only gift I think one a week to a villager. You can however gift a heartdrop and a box of chocolates in the same week

I'm missing 2 sacred flowers and I've been to all 7 locations, completed every quest, bought the 5 from Tamala, and completed the hunting unless those are the 2 I'm somehow missing because I have the hunting achievements completed

Are you in the Elderwood? That sounds like an infected tree, which only appears there. You'll need to advance the main story line until Subira asks you to investigate the Elderwood.

Does anyone know what’s up with the duskwing butterfly 🦋? I’ve tried for ages to get one but doesn’t seem like they spawn

For this bug, I would suggest being on the server just as 3am (in game time) hits. You can try to place a lure close to the dragon shrine and focus only on catching butterflies. If you catch the ground bugs, it’ll just cause more to spawn and prevent the duskwing from spawning. If you still can’t get one, I highly suggest looking on the Palia Party website for a duskwing bug catching party. It’ll save you resources for lures and you might even get a plush out of it!

You’ll earn the estate homelines pieces by competing certain levels of the lunar path. You earn lunar XP to level the lunar pass by completing dailies and completing bundles on the bulletin board

When you were completing the lunar path, you should be claiming the rewards, so I’d verify you claimed everything and then you should be able to find the recipes at your work table. You can search “estate” and they should come up

yes it's just the storyline for his friendship quests...

as for this, you get the lure during the quest after handing in infected essence so einar will make one for you. he gives you the crafting recipe for it at the same time. if you didn't already have a lure equipped it would have equipped automatically, although it has durability so if you've been fishing since then it may have broken. if you definitely don't have it anymore you can craft another at your workbench

if you exit game mid dialogue it usually just makes it go from the start of the dialogue if you go tal kto em again

The idea of the items losing their tint if you put them back into storage is so frustrating when redoing your plot. Feel like I'm going to have a bunch of randomly placed objects around because I don't want to waste tint 🤦‍♀️

Maybe it's best to get the layouts and placements first before finalising with tinting?

Hey all; my boyfriend is on Xbox; he’s done the bullitin board quest, he’s clicked on weekly wants and discover but it’s not showing him their wants, but it is for me. Is there a way to fix it?

We only started playing literally 24 hours ago so we started after the weekly want reset, it hasn’t bugged for me, but he’s now quest locked “A family squabble” because he can’t get Najuma’s weekly want, even by talking to her

You should definitely report this into player support. Theoretically, the error of the discover board not working is caused by the player gifting NPCs prior to using that board. If your bf did gift someone before using the board, this is why the board will not populate the wants. The board must be used before gifting NPCs for the week.

If he didn't gift anyone prior to using the board and is still getting ?s instead of wants, this is still a bug and should be reported since it's affecting quest progression (being able to tell Hodari what Najuma wants)

We had to gift 5 people as the housewarming quest at the very start of the game but we both gifted people before doing the board and it bugged for him and not me

So this is why his didn't work, gifting before using the discover button on the board causes this error. It's not a guaranteed error but it happens a lot of the time. It soft locking a quest is definitely not great, so reporting that in would be a big help.

It’s annoying but we’ve reported it; they should just remove the weekly wants discovery from the board as it has so many issues and just give them to us at every weekly reset; talking took too long back when I played and I know this board is meant to help but once it starts soft locking quests.. gotta question at that point is it even worth it. Maybe even just a letter in the mail from Zeki or someone saying what everyone’s want is

That's a very good suggestion! I know this error was not discovered until the patch went live and they are aware of it, so hopefully it is on the radar to be fixed with a monthly update in the near future.
