I think your main harvest house is causing a collision with the large room. You can use a hallway section and then attach the large room

You look at the daily task, collect the item, and then hit the claim button once you have newly collected the item. You can access the daily tasks from your in-game event tab. Open your inventory screen and look for the snowball tab to the very left. The daily tasks have a sub-category on the event tab.

This allows you to add more buildings to the cluster limit for the new housing lines.

this might be kind of a dumb question but how does switching house styles work? if i’m in a harvest house and wanna switch to an alchemist cottage, do i need to start all over on a new plot or can i make my current plot have the new style without losing everything?

You can place alchemist housing on the same plot you have harvest housing, they'll just be two separate buildings.

You can also start a plot that only has alchemist housing lines on it.

Harvest House and Alchemist Housing cannot be combined.

Yes if that's what you'd like to do! You could pick up the harvest House buildings, with the items inside, so it all gets sent to your inventory. And then you could rebuild that plot with the housing line you'd like to try out.

Tje alchemist bas house is smaller the the harvest house but you need to combine more to make it bigger

Anyone know what is going on with my daily? I'm doing the "Raw Thoughts I" quest... says 'try some local sashimi'. Wiki says to cook it. I've cooked 9 Normal and 9 HQ Sashimi now, no quest progress.

This may be one of those daily tasks that is completely bugged, like the amber daily task. Several people have reported the sashimi one doesn't register. You can take screenshots and send a ticket into player support.

You may be able to get it register as collected if you restart your game entirely. Sometimes this works.

Most Elderwood items do not count towards weekly skills guild tasks. Elderwood bugs and fish do not count for those weeklies, so I am not surprised to hear platinum also doesn't count.

Yes. If you never linked your Palia character to a palia.com account, this is why you are not receiving drops in-game.

You probably unlocked the +2 cluster limit, it's not a second story upgrade.

To stack estate rooms, you need to place both rooms on the ground. Pick one back up, and ensure your bottom room does not have any ceiling decor, no stairs, and a flat roof. This should help it be able to stack.

I looked up reth’s weekly wants and i was able to give them to him perfectly normally but when i tried to give Eshe and Kenyatta their weeklies they didn’t want them and eshe said “honestly? how many of these did you think i need” or something like that as if i had given it to her before but i hadn’t. It seems reth is the only one that will accept the weeklies

I was able to claim the Ancient Koi, however the silk thread will not claim. Last week I had to re-roll the couch until I could claim a different item. I’m on PC. My wife is on switch and she is unable to claim either items she has in her inventory.

Sort of, it depends on what villager i’m talking to. Some will accept a daily gift and others won’t even though i’m using the safe gifts that they always accept. for example i tried to give eshe a copper bar today and she wouldn’t accept it even though she has literally always accepted it with the message “this isn’t my style but i suppose i could sell it for tax revenue”

Yeah, this is a new bug that has come up for this new system. It seems to happen to some people if they gift NPC items before using that button, but it also seems to happen to people when they don't interact with NPCs at all and then try to use it. Have you opened a support ticket about this yet? You could send in a ticket with this screenshot and let them know that you're experiencing the error too

As for their weekly wants and not accepting them, it could be that the Wiki or Paleo Tracker are not updated with this week's items yet. So there may be last week's items that you could be gifting that they won't accept this week potentially

There have been a lot of reports over the last couple of weeks about gift rejecting from the NPCs, So I'm wondering if the new system has also affected the way in which NPCs will accept gifts.

Well, if you feel up to it, submitting your screenshots and documenting your error and a support ticket can definitely help. At least to let the Dev team know how widespread this issue is because based on what you have shared, you've done all the steps that anybody would recommend on the player side to get this aspect to work

yeah submitting one now, palia has one of the best and fastest support teams i’ve ever seen. they unlinked my old account in under 20 minutes on christmas day

Hello im new to the game and trying to figure out what the game is about? Also how do i make sapwood planks and bricks

There is a storyline to Palia, but mostly what it's about (imo) is creating a lil cozy space for yourself and making friends along the way - either with other players or the NPC's

For planks you'll need to get a sawmill blueprint from ashura's guild store, same with a smelter from Hodari for Bricks.

Apparently "any rare fish" is not really any rare fish. Ive caught both ancient koi and angelfish and they dont count.

Try a Kilima or Bahari fish. Sometimes, Elderwood items don't complete tasks unless the task is specifically asking for it.

The same thing happens to the weeklies -- Elderwood items don't complete them (like the bugs, platinum, etc)

They really need to update things since EW was released. Many items still don't register for dailies/weeklies.

Furniture sets are another one.

I have found if you use up the 'gifting' option for the day that is not a "weekly want" it locks you out from gifting any weekly wants until the next day.

If you only give an NPC weekly wants, it does not count towards their 'daily gift', but if you give them a daily gift not in their weekly wants, it locks you from gifting the weekly wants.

yeah.. but I'm using a watered/harvest boost layout, absolutely no weeds are present or anything, and they're flat out not growing at all
to the point of seemingly growing while i'm logged in, and then ungrowing by the next time i log in

(for record have been playing like 2-3 months and grown a ton of crops as my main source of income)

they don't necessarily change visually every single day of growth. it would be more helpful to keep track of days of growth (they grow one day at 6am when you're online, and as 6502 said, up to one day while you're offline), and compare it to how long they're supposed to take to grow. you could also track whether the fertilizer is being consumed or not.

there HAVE been people reporting issues with crops reverting or not growing, so it could be what's going on with you, but it seems like a very rare issue. and if that's your issue you'll probably just need to put in a support ticket.

also when people do have that issue, they also seem to have issues with other things reverting as well, like quest progress. suggesting it's some sort of issue with the way their progress is being synced on the server. have you noticed anything like that or is it just the crops?

I do notice my infected essence happens to be exactly the same amount as last night which I found very strange as I spent some time hanging out in Elderwood and will collect any I walk by, but nothing solid since I'm not sure timing of it

Got you. You can send in a bug report documenting your issue and specifying you've completed all associated quests with him. This error has been reported on and off since the summer time. I don't think there is a player-side fix for this.

Unfortunately no, you'll have to go in-game to claim the items. From the experiences I've heard with other players in similar situations as you, they won't be able to give you your missed coins, but, you could potentially ask for a refund of your original purchase of the loyalty club from the platform you bought it on (like Steam).

It took me less than a month, I think Einar took me the longest because I was a bit slow to learn how the chatting function and gifting worked at first

Did you complete all three of the treasure quest series? Adventure on the Horizon, Prismbeard's Lost Treasure, The True Treasure. If you haven't done all three of those, Naio will be locked into location on whichever of those quests you're on.

Additionally, Through the Woods and Up The Hill will keep him locked into location.

You cannot unfortunately. The plots go in the order you purchased them in. If you want a specific plot to be near the top, you'll need to rename and redo one of your existing plots that are near the top of your list to be the plot you want near the top.

Yes. You can give out each weekly want or starstone once a week.

Star stone and romance gifts such as Chocolates or Heartdrop lilies once per week, weekly wants are treated the same as regular gifts you can give 1 per day, they have 4 weekly wants per week so that is 4 different gifts, once you've completed the weekly wants you can give them 2 random ones to finish out the week,

Star stone or romance gift day 1, weekly wants days 2 through 5, random gifts days 6 and 7

The wiki page has a detailed step by step/location by location guide for the 7 books.

It may be good to refer to that walkthrough, attempt to collect all 7 logbooks, and then hopefully you should be able to proceed with the quest upon collection of those books and entering the password into the console.

If you find that the logbooks are not there and/or it doesn't allow you to enter the password, you can submit a player support ticket.

While you're looking for the logbooks and you see they are not there, you should take a screenshot of every location showing the logbook is not at the specified location and add this to your ticket to player support. It will help them, help you.

Hmmm that is odd. One thing I could recommend you do is take a screenshot showing both part 1 and part 2 in your completed quest log, and then going to the UG register and taking an SS of the item being locked, and then send those in to support to see what they advised.

Theoretically, you've done all the required tasks to have that be unlocked.

Keep trying during the right time cycle for the fish and have someone join you -- the fishing buff can increase your hook time and the other buffs can increase reticle size which can help reel it in easier.

You'll have to wait for the cooldown. If you have anyone with a plot on home tours, you can try to tour their plot from their profile and that might get you out. Using a hearth potion is also an option if you have access to them or can request one.

You can pin them using the option on the top right but you don’t have to. You can complete them without pinning them. It has been causing a stuttering issue for some players, so I wouldn’t suggest pinning them right now anyway

You can pin them if you want but it will cause lag due to the count down timer, however you can access the daily missions anywhere in the game by opening your inventory and navigating to feature guide then clicking daily missions tab, so pinning isnt necessary

You do not need to start them or pin them. Just collect the items and then come back to that screen.

Cooking with all starred ingredients, fast cooking times, and doing everything 100% correct does help increase chances of your dishes coming out as starred, however cooking is RNG based as well so you still may have some dishes come out unstarred as a result.

You have to buy recipes from elouisa store in elderwood with funbucks where you can upgrade/relics, the store is located in the central stable viewable as at time elousia and calica will stand next to it, took upgrade your relics you need to go to the back of the staples there are 4 tables there to upgrade

A lot of people have been having trouble gifting romance gifts since the new system went live. Some people have been able to 'fix' this by waiting until the daily reset, and gifting only romance items before any other types of gifts. There's been a trend that if you gifted them for their daily already, they don't accept romance. Some people had to wait for the next weekly reset to get them to accept romance gifts.

There's no official information on this from S6 about Lunar XP being saved, so if you'd like a formal answer, submitting a ticket would be the best way to get that. However, since there's no place currently in our UI that "stores" the XP and there was no notes on it at Patch 0.198, it's unlikely it "saves" to be applied at the next LP. Battlepasses, typically, do not allow you to accumlate XP to apply to next season's pass in other games as well.

hmmm see I have the same problem but with a controller. I play on pc but I prefer using my xbox controller. And every once in awhile the game will refuse to even recognize half of the buttons. So like I can't change tools or do anything you'd use the left button on the mouse for, which forces me to use the keyboard and mouse for those functions. Though the joysticks still work just fine. I know the game is not 100% controller compatible but it's annoying that it only does this sporatically.

This is directly from S6: Bundles now reward Bulletin Board XP, Kilima Coins, Lunar XP, and relevant Villager Reputation depending on the Monthly Bundle Quest. Dailies also reward Bulletin Board XP, Tailor Tickets, and Lunar XP, and Weekly Challenges give you Bulletin Board XP and Skill Medals.

As you complete all of these activities and earn XP, you will progress along the Bulletin Board track to claim rewards. Completing the entire Bulletin Board track will earn you Kilima Coins, a new currency. Players can earn up to 150 Kilima Coins each patch.

Kilima Coins can be spent in the new Kilima Catalog, a new store available in City Hall that features both fresh and returning iconic items.

Hi! I haven't been on Palia in around 6 months, I logged in today and my path of wood slab pavers is all glitchy and overlapping. How can I fix this? The path was time consuming to do, and I really don't wanna have to start over to fix the issue.

so you can have a maximum of 8 storage chests and 3 lockbox chests placed on a plot. your storage capacity depends on how many and which versions/levels are currently placed.

you have 200 lockbox storage because you only have 2 lockboxes placed, placing a third will give you the maximum 300. this storage is totally separate from your main storage though!

as for your main storage, wooden chests give you 400 storage spaces each, and the copper gives 825. so 3 wooden and 1 copper will give you 400*3 + 825 = 2,025.
with 4 chests placed, you could craft 4 more chests to increase your storage.
if you’ve only purchased up to the copper storage chest recipe so far, you have the potential to craft and place 8 copper storage chests for a total of 6,600 main storage capacity, plus 3 lockboxes with 300 lockbox storage.

As for the inventory issue, there aren't any player side work-arounds for this. I do encourage you to take a video record of your issue and send in a player support ticket, as they may be able to offer further advice. And it would be good to have your issue documented.

Its the only way or you just have to wait the timer or teleport to a friends home or server

If your plot is set to 'open' for public visits, yes someone could come to visit your plot without being your friend/invited to come.

If your plot is set to friends only or closed, someone would need to send you a Friend Request, and you accept it, for them to come to your plot (friends only). If it's closed entirely, no one except NPCs can come to plot.

There have been rare cases where individual's plots are closed or friends only, but other players still can come to the plot.

You do have to be on your plot for others to visit your plot, however.

You'll have to use glitching methods to make them "stick," as any crafters, chests, etc cannot be on builder's items inside of a house. Outside, anchored to the ground, they are fine.

I don’t think there’s an easy way in-game, at least I haven’t seen, but I use the Palia Guide app by AJ Lake and it allows you to track what you collect and stuff. You can even mark whether the catch was star quality or not. (I know that’s not exactly an answer to your question but just wanted to recommend at least something lol)

There are Achievements in-game in the player menu. One for catching all the Kilima and Bahari fish, one for catching all the Elderwood fish, and ones for starred versions of the Kilima/Bahari Fish and EW fish. They will tell you what fish you've caught, but not what fish you haven't caught.

You should have sold them in order to complete the quest. If you completed the quest, then you have extras. I've heard that Elouisa sometimes asks for them as a weekly want (It's a bug), but I don't know if she would accept them.

Hey guys, i need a tip or hint for a loot chest.

E8 in Bahari bay has a loot chest on one of the stone pillars, that has a flared top and a tree on the peak. The loot chest is under the tree.

However, the flared top doesnt allow grabbing/climbing when you glide over to the wall, and I cant find anywhere that lets you get high enough to successfully glide to the top of the pillar.

check if you have done the quest already, sometimes you get duplicate quest items and they won't trigger the quest again if you've already done it. the quest title is One Majiri's Trash

Yep, just hunt them! There's a spot out in A 5/6 in the Elderwood thats a very good area for hunting those guys! I recommend partying up for it as that can give you a higher chance for getting the spore you need!

There's a bug where if you give a gift to a villager before discovering the weekly wants that week, it will not show you what they are. You can use the wiki or Paliatracker to learn what they are.

Hi guys, doing the “Overdue Books” it’s been a month since I sent a ticket but still no fix. I cannot finish this quest because the “Kilima Valley Treasure” book won’t let me pick it up. I read somewhere to check your inventory but still no luck. Have you guys encountered this? May I know the work around? Thank you!

I haven't heard of this issue, so I don't think there's any player side workarounds for this, and I can't find anything online about this. If the item exists in your game, but, you don't have an interact key, support/the dev team are the only folks who can correct this issue. If you haven't replied to your ticket, do so so it stays in the "I need a human" queue and ask for status updates on the issue.

I don't know about workaround either but just checking you have checked your quest inventory (now key items I think) - you have the normal inventory, ammo pouch, and then the next one (wit the exclamation mark I think)

We can't do three story buildings -- is that what you were trying to do? You can stack two alchemist rooms together.

Oh I got you! Decor channel may have more specific guidance, they work with these pieces frequently. I know some advice that gets shared is making sure that there's no ceiling decorations or items that could potentially cause collision inside, and making sure the roofs are flat as well.

And, making sure you're not at your cluster limit (10 buildings, 12 if you finished the LP)

And double check you're grabbing the actual glider -- as there is a glider decor item as well that sometimes get confused.

Is your glider slot in your accessories bar empty/dark shadow?

The Lunar Path (Path of the Kitsuu). We get a +2 bonus added to the cluster limit at one of the late 30s levels! So it ups your cluster limit for the housing line to 12 buildings.

Normally because there isnt enough steps to go around for the amount of people who signed up, I dont mind it if people over prep provided they signed up for it, if no one signed up for it and you have overprep happening then it's likely someone misclicked

Most recipes don't close out the role once it's been completed meaning multiple people can complete it without issue

A notable exception would be Sashimi where once the rice is cooked its locked and you cant cook anymore rice, yet that is the main OP role for maws sashimi parties, for it you have to be fast in order to get a pot on the stove before someone else completes it

I'm not able to tour plots that are open to others that can actively get on it. It says the player can't be found or doesn't have a tour up but I know they do because I was chatting with folks who were on there the same time I was trying. What might be causing this?

so touring plots is different to visiting!

Home Tours is where you choose to publish your plot (via the green home tours board on your plot, left of the kilima gate) and others are able to view it and vote on it. You can only tour someone’s plot if they’ve posted it that week, and you do this either from their profile or through the home tours board on your plot.

Visiting someone’s plot is done via the blue board, to the right of the kilima gate on your plot. We have the option to open our plot to friends, anyone, or close it so no one can enter.
If you’re trying to join a friend’s plot, go to the blue board, and scroll down the list of your friends names until you see theirs, and you should be able to visit them if 1) they’re on their plot and 2) its open.

Each person is responsible for the role they signed up for and the amount of that ingredient that's required.
So say you are attending a 50x Veggie Chili Party and signed up for the carrots role you need to make sure you the have 50x carrots.

I think what you are referring to is when someone may run out of ingredients, then someone else can come over and start it for you like at a Sushi or Sashimi party where rice is a common overprep item.

But typically when you attend a cooking party it's expected to bring what's required for the role you signed up for

That way things run smoothly and finish up fast

Hello, I have a "funny" problem: I placed a small item on a snowy bench, but it disappeared in the snow! So I can't see or select it anymore. But the game knows it's there and so I can't remove the bench either! 😖

Prismbeard has so many issues, I would even suggest a walkthrough for most normal people. I def lost some hair during the process, especially when Auni and Nai'o got stuck in places and did not spawn in the areas where they should be (verified in the wrong place by watching youtube playthroughs of older patches or different platforms).
