Yeah, you'll have to go back to your house to make more. You can buy them from Auni or the general store, but that also means you have to leave. But the quest will keep your place.

This seems to happen after using the glider and having it fail to render (i.e. invisible glider). The solution S6 gave me was just to spam your glider until it appears, then your tools should work again

use fishing boosts, fish with other players, be patient. its sounds cliche but really the fishing boosts only help you with the fishing minigame, fishing with others gives you an additional bonus and really comes down to how good you are with fishing. if you're desperate enough, you can try and request one

don't know. the quest is marked with a yellow flag, but one way it shows me back to the village, if I go through the gate, it shows back to bahari bay. And in no way can I see a pile of dirt.

there is one small spot with 4 paw prints, but they don't lead anywhere.

oh hell, the quest markers on the map are deceiving - I had to climb the cliff in Bahari, when the quest marker on the map and the picture in the guide made out it was on the other side of the gate.

Maybe it's not always in the same place?!?

But they're not that many items and you can just skip these items for now in your decor.

There 2 achievements that you can do each week (see the achievements tab at the top) and all the way to the bottom if you scroll down there's an achievement for visiting a lot of plots. That will also reward you some tickets.

Hi all, hoping someone can help clarify. Can I save up my lucky envelopes for the next lunar event? Is that what people do that have gotten what they want and yet there's still 20+ days of the event? Just trying to understand if the envelopes save over or will disappear.

Last year's envelopes did roll over to this year. Is that a guarentee for next year? No, but I can't see why they wouldn't roll them over at this time.

I would say do what seems valuable to you. Does putting in the extra work now feel like it would pay off next year for you to do less work? Are there other things you'd rather grind for now? Could you get everything you want next year (if there is anything new) in just a few days of market grinding?

Fishing. I right click and open the menu, then select the worm, but it won't use it. Or the number of worms is not decreasing at least. And I don't notice as much variety in what I'm catching. Been two days.

You would only be required to right click your mouse once to select the worm bait you want to use. If you have added many into your inventory it will consume them. Once you run out it defaults back to hook with no bait

There is no current bug with fishing.

there's a common issue where if you have multiple stacks of worms, it may be showing the number in one stack under your fishing rod, but drawing from the other stack, so the number you see won't go down. you can confirm by checking the stacks in your ammo tab before and after catching a fish

you can also look up the fish you've been catching to make sure they are worm fish - as long as they're worm fish your worms are working correctly since all fish in palia are exclusive to one type of bait

True - this is a common oversight, respectfully players not noticing that stacks are being drawn from the inventory , . not necessarily the one at hand (shown) - it draws below first until your (in this case worm) gets lower it will start showing you a countdown. ,it took us playing for a little to realise this at start. Its the the way the mechanics work in this game, bit odd but we just get used to it

hunting works the way it should - shows you the stack of ammo you have at hand and counters down.. once you run out, you would need to select the next full stack if it doesnt do it auto for you.

some flow trees you can solo as long as you have a good enough axe (tiny and small trees), but for the larger ones, yes you do need another person to help you with that. you can also wait for groves to spawn in and for the most part, the whole server will help with one another to clear that. if you're still desperate for flow wood, you could always request or buy from the foraging guild store

you can grow regular crops. if you have non starred seeds and make sure to not use quality up fertilizer

The farther you level in gardening starting around level 25 the more you start to produce only starred crops/seeds, and by level 50 that's pretty much all you will get other than I do still get an occasional unstarred tomato seed once in a while.

It's the only skill that has perks as you level up.

Yeah you will need to visit the farm register or Zeki's Store if you want unstarred produce and he doesn't sell everything.
Things like apples and blueberries etc.

Your soil needs to be retilled with your garden hoe every so often to be able to use the soil again for the next batch of crops. It's this way intentionally since you cannot store soil that's tilled- it eventually untills after 48 irl hours (if you harvest crop after then when you pick it, the soil will until automatically)

As you lvl up in gardening you will eventually get only star quality even from non star seeds.

I do want to ask why do you need non star veggies?
I've seen a lot of people asking this question lately because they didn't understand how cooking works.

If you press the button while cooking use star quality, you will use star quality ingredients and if you are missing some star quality ingredients it's no problem because the recipe will let you select from the non star you have

That just means it was mined before! Ore nodes act like forageable items in the way that they stay around for a while after someone mines them so other people can mine that node too before it despawns. The faster the pulsating flash, the sooner it's about to disappear

Really you will need to level all your skills to level 10, in - order to level up your tools and be able to unlock all the required materials as well and recipes

From that point onwards, you can choose the one you like most to focus on..

its a preference then, but level up all skill to level 10 is required for your game progress to be efficient if that makes sense, once you reach level 10, you also are welcomed into a Skill Guild and will start accumulating tokins that you can redeem for really nice rewards items

I suggest, opening your map to look for the villagers , your map interface shows you icons of each NPC

in the case of Hodari he is a Bahari resident that visits Kilima and when he isnt there he is back in Bahari

however he is currently in Kilima village still walking around

it's not your fault, the same thing happened to me when i walked up, but you can try gliding to it instead of jumping to it and see if it lets you hold onto the grill

sometimes the game drops you when you hit this invisible obstacle for some reason - in the middle of the grill - but not when you are low enough on it

I'm not the biggest fan of fishing either but yeah unfortunately for most items you need to have caught it before/obtained it before you can request it. I spent hours trying to catch the kilima stingray for the bundle myself.

NB: If you are not in a party ( but just helping in a group - not partied up - then you will of course be the one who gets xp depending on your hits in hunting

Normally i can hold the left mousebutton down for a while to continue using a tool, but sometimes this control switches suddenlyto a weird variant: nothing happens, when i hold down, and one use-animation happens, when i release.
Why does this happen?

Depending on the tools you're using, release the button and reapply could cut the animation short, likely using axe and pickaxe could trigger that so clicking in timing could make it faster than hold and wait for the whole animation. If this is what you're experienced.

My foraging skill levels pretty fast, because it´s not only raised from chopping trees and looting them, but also from picking up plants and stuff from the floor.
What else than breaking and looting rocks and ore-nodes can level the mining-skill?

the quest flag may be a bug or it may be because you didn't finish a quest from the normal maji market. there is a quest up there during the normal maji market but i imagine it's not possible to finish during luna new year

No, it counts towards the limit as a default, it just has a separate count for "flowers" only to limit flower count per plot so the limit still 3k not sum of both counts to 4k.

Hello everyone, I am facing something quite annoying as I realize that I struggle with renown points. Here is the explanation:
I started Palia at its release date in August 2023. Back then, you could only have a maximum of 1000 renown points in stock. For a long period of time, I kept on gaining renown points even though I was at the maximum because I didn’t realize the use of focus. So now, I am clearly missing A LOT of renown points because I mostly have the hardest achievements left (10M gold coins, all stared fishes and bugs, cook every dish with other people)
Now I managed to finish to unlock my plot space, but I am still missing around 1k for the max focus and max bonus. What can I doooo?

Here's some more ways to earn renown!

• gifting things to other players
• gifting things to npcs, chatting with them
• leveling skills!

So for example you could theoretically earn some decent renown by just farming npc engagement every in game day and trying to gift as many as possible, plus always keeping your request tab refreshed and checking it often

It will still take time as gifting players only gives 1 stinky lil renown point but if you're gifting a lot every day it can totally stack up (that's where most of my current renown is from)

It frequently happens to my bow - usually at a critical moment 😠 ... jumping and activating the glider works pretty reliably, but not always. selecting another tool and then the one you want works some of the time, but not reliably. The same goes for un equipping and re-selecting the tool that's not working. It's a shame that the devs haven't fixed this. (( at least rocks don't run away while you try to work around this bug - it's a lot more annoying if you can't shoot and see your target run away into the distance be it a rare bug, be it a rare deer ))

And you'd think of course that jumping and flapping your glider around is not going to spook any deer ?!? 😛

If you place flowers down on a building block and then place the building block (with flowers) inside an empty HH or like a pavilion. You can then pick up the pavilion from the top view and all the flowers will go in you inventory 😅

The reason you place the flowers on building blocks is so that you can grow them by type for ex, and if you want to pick up a lot of one type or something it's easier to separate them.

Does anyone know where to get the recipe for cornmeal? I tried to make tacos and it won't let me even though I have all the required ingredients. Cornmeal is not listed as an ingredient. I have the prep station to complete that step of the cooking process, but the game won't even let me start the taco recipe.

im gonna assume you only have 1 prep station, most recipes require two or more cooking stations (stoves, prep stations, etc)

but to answer your question, cornmeal is created through the prep station, though you need 2 prep stations because the taco recipe itself is created using the prep station and another is needed to create the cornmeal

Been having a really frustrating bug occur during Chapaa Chase, where the chapaa I'm carrying will despawn in my hands (it even plays the sound of someone picking up a chapaa when it happens. It's been bad enough lately that I've been unable to do Lucky Chapaa Champion II and III. I would have had just about 20 just now, but probably 8(?) despawned on me over the course of the event.
