Best time is at midnight (every in game midnight) in bahari, it's a group of flow trees from 2-10, can be on few spots on the map, it's usually called out. When you get there take one hit at each tree and wait for everyone to get the there. Because flow trees are not like rocks, once it's down it's down for everyone,so this way everyone gets resources. Flow trees also spawn randomly on both maps but it's rare,also called out in chat. Or you can force spawn them, find a place and cut 10-ish trees,some will spawn back as flow. If you find one,just so you know,you need someone to cut it with since it's health repairs fast. And you need better axe too. Good luck and welcome to the game!

Is there any reason why they dont let us change the keybind for the chat? I'm left handed so I have to use my arrow keys and the keys near the arrow instead of WASD. I have set the RShift for running and everytime I'm doing the chappa chase, instead of being able to run, I get the chat box popping in. Then once I close it I'm STUCK there for a few seconds for some reason before I can run. Any suggestions? I mean I don't understand why we can't change that keybind

Double check in your achivement menu that it has or hasn't popped, they aren't a physical item so they won't show up in your inventory for example. You use them in the store which is a part of the Home Tours board near the gate of your plot 🙂

One thing I am not able to learned is the trick making the wall disappeared. I tried many times, and the tutorial I found said it worked perfectly two days ago. But I don’t know how I can’t. @jagged pelican the setup is really up to you. Depends upon what you're looking to maximize whether it's coinage or the crops themselves. Crops only grow one cycle if you're offline.

That's why the tool in pins is good to see what kind of arrangement is best for you

Additionally adjacent crops can have an effect whether it's less watering less fertilizing or less weeding

Also I'm having frequent bugs on this game idk why, like it'll suddenly freeze if I'm talking to an npc or playing a mini game, and it also takes like 3 mins to load the main city so when I first go there i have to wait like ages until the buildings fully load

And I can't do anything about the freeze apart from just quitting the game and reentering

Sorry in advance for the long winded question, but I play on PC with Xbox controller, and I’ve tried looking through the controls menu and I can’t seem to find how to change it. I am not the best at gaming in general and tend to press too many buttons at once…but I keep accidentally spamming a button on my remote which then sends me to my housing plot, and it always seems to be at the most inconvenient times😭 (this one being from my first ever Maji Market). Has anyone else has this issue and know how to resolve it/change the control?

Go to settings, controls mouse icon if I remember correctly and key bindings, chose what each button does that makes sence to you. Don't worry about the maji it's there every in game night from 6pm and it lasts a real life week

It’s something I’m pressing on my Xbox controller but in the controller settings there is nothing there that would take me home which is what is confusing ☹️ also okay great thank you, there was so much going on there so I’m glad I get to go back many times!

Only way to teleport home that fast is via map, when you open map there is an option to go home with a cool down of 30 minutes. Check that out. Maybe instead of pinning something on the map or closing it you press that button

Unfortunately there's no joint plots, but you can give your friends editing permission on your plot and I believe they'll be able to move things around and decorate (at least a little, I don't remember to what extent)

Depends on what ones you're after!

Hunting plushies (sernuk, chappa, mujiin are just chance while hunting) there's bug plushies that you get from catching certain bugs, the potato pods are limited time login rewards, some are from Zeki's lucky machine, some are from the Maji Market, etc etc

many people glitch and it does stay permanently. there's no harm in glitching furniture, the devs don't appear to mind if people do it and there have even been screenshots of glitched decor spotlighted in official palia news posts.

I just realized that crops grow much slower when I’m offline. All of them have water retention, is there any way I can better navigate this? I’m incredibly busy and don’t have time to log in every growth cycle most days 😭 I can only really log in once per day and get maybe 30 minutes or so.

I believe they need to be watered/weeded to get to their next growth stage. I've heard a few people struggle with this so it's possible there's a hidden mechanic that forces you to need to log in for them to grow, sorry!

They’re always watered after the first watering since they have water retention & I use weed prevention fertilizer so it probably is some sort of hidden mechanic :(( I was so excited when I heard about gardening because I thought it was something I could do to make this game actually fit into my schedule

One good thing its that the crops never wither, so even if you only have limited time you don't need to worry about your crops ever dying, so there's at least that! It is a shame though that they stop growing after being offline for a certain time

they only grow one tick while you are offline, then they stop growing until you log back in again. is there any way you could either leave the game open while you're doing other things, or just log in for a few seconds at some other time of day? especially if you can log in a minute before the daily growth time (6am in game) to get an extra tick of growth

You don't have to be home! They changed that a long time ago. :) You only have to be online. (Though I've noticed that things can get a little wonky if you're out of the house for extended periods.)

Good morning! Is it a known issue after this last update/patch that you can not select a different tool? I thought this was fixed. Just missed an entire Balloon shoot cause I couldn't switch from my fishing rod to my bow. All of the tools are greyed out

It's a very rare spawn, like dari cloves, so you won't find it like sweet leaf and briar days, it's usually called out in chat when someone finds it. If you are by any chance over level 10 foraging you can buy it with guild coins, or if you ever had one you can request it

You may be in a "ghost party" where you get stuck in a party that isn't displaying, with party members who aren't online currently. Try restarting your game and see if that refreshes the party display to allow you to leave the ghost party.

In general, if something is stuck/isn't working, a good algorithm of "things to try" seems to be:
0) Try using X to unequip current tool/stop using whatever thing on your hotbar you may have accidentally selected that is blocking the action you're attempting
0.a) for some reason sometimes also sitting down (/sit) and standing back up resets things like unresponsive tools

1. open the Collections menu (resets your character model display, like if an emote or facial expression is stuck)
2. open the H menu (if at home) / premium store / interact with wardrobe (resets the user interface)
3. change servers and/or change zones (also changes your server)
4. Exit completely and restart the game

(The above have mostly been gleaned from various patch notes, but some are also from personal experience/experimentation, so I might be talking out my ear on some of them; I am not a dev 😅 )

so on potatoes u would need to fertilize them 5 times
if u only fertilze 1 out of 5 times u only have a 1/5 chance for the effect to happen

u can stack fertilizer on one tile so u don't need to apply new one ecery single day
the game uses 1 fertilizer per day

For fertilizer like water retain, speedy gro, weed prev the effects happen every time of course

It does make loading times more annoying to be on switch, but if you rezone (run out of the Underground to Kilima and then back in), or if you server sync to a friend who is also in the Underground, then you load into a different server (usually; it puts you wherever there is room for you, if you just rezone). The furniture for sale is different on each server each night (in-game time). If you're lucky, sometimes you can end up with like six different servers to check. Sometimes there are only a few servers up, though. Region-hopping (by server syncing to a friend in a different region) and then server-hopping by running out to Kilima and back, also puts you on a different set of servers.

I caught one not too long ago for the first time. I believe i got mine in fisherman's lagoon. I wasn't trying to get it and so i just caught it randomly. wish i had more info to help ya get one but i'd say just keep trying and make sure you're using glow worms

Ancient fish only show up for you IF you have completed the Vault of the Waves bundles, so first make sure you have got that sorted! You should have the achievement "Something's In the Water" iirc
Another thing is that it is caught anywhere from the lake in Kilima (the lagoon, but also anywhere along the shoreline) using glow worms, but ONLY during the morning, day, and evening. It does not show up at night (9pm-3am Palia time), despite the tooltip not saying anything about that (unlike most fish). There is some evidence that the ancient fish may be a little more likely to spawn in the morning period (3-6am), but nothing conclusive.

Other tips include:

• keep the reticle ( ) over the bobber
• if the bobber is outside the reticle, stop reeling and get it back, then continue
• if the fish is jumping (reticle is yellow), stop reeling and just keep up with the fish's movements until it lands

You can also wait (stop reeling) and just hang out, keeping your reticle over the bobber, to let your rod health (meter at the bottom of the screen) recover before you continue. If you finish the minigame with full rod health, you get a Perfect Catch, which gives +20% bonus XP

I personally like a combination of Fisherman's Brew (bigger reticle) and Fish Stew (faster reticle) for "everyday" fishing. Many fish have patterns of behavior, and as you get more experienced, you'll be better able to keep up with their antics. :)

There is a bug that if you didn't talk to zeki in the night sky temple right after gales he will then dissapear and you don't get the coin. (It can happen to any of the characters that go see you in the temple)

would recommend to watch YT videos for that, there should be a few tutorials explaining how to do docks and decorate ur shipping bin short answer is: buildingblocks can be attached to eachother so u can simply place them out of bounds
(for it to work u need to have ur plot unlocked completely)

Silk cloth can also be purchased at an exorbitant price from one of the vendors.

For not responding: I just take time to allow assets to load in Kilima. It takes a while longer for us Switch users. If u do u avoid most of misfortunes of freezing or falling through the floors

it might be happening because the villagers are walking away, that was a bug that happened before so make sure to report that you crash when talking to villagers cuz i think they mentioned it was fixed

The focus bar grants you additional XP per skill that is used. When you eat food, the focus bar fills and depletes as your gather resources. You can have it empty and still gain XP, but the focus bar helps build XP faster. You’ll get the opportunity to spend points called renown to increase both the capacity/max focus and the focus bonus percentage.

Is there any way to disable the chat box from opening up on pc? I've tried everything from streamer mode to disabling chat bubbles. I would also hit enter to open the chat box and unclick all the bubbles, but they'll be active again on their own or whenever I go into any menu and transition to another place.
